Caj's Indian rp character info:Name: Cajmera Age: Around 20 summers Gender: Female Eyes: Rich brown Hair: A dark chocolate brown color, slightly longer than shoulder length, wavy, and usually worn loose. Skin: Pale cocoa colored Description: Caj is tall and of middling weight, tending more towards being muscular than slim; she usually wears a simple fringed dress of buckskin, beaded bracelets, and moccassin boots; she likes to tuck a feather into her hair, and it tends to dangle behind one ear. Personality:Serious and somber, she tends to be shy around people, and prefers the company of Soquili to that of other humans. Soquilis: Though she started out small with two Soquilis, Cajji's herd of Soquilis has gradually grown and now even she has no idea how many Soquili call her teepee compound home! Though the majority of 'her herd' are transient and come and go as the seasons and their moods take them, the unicorn Elizabeth tends to spend her days in the teepees at Cajji's side, helping with the day to day tasks and provding healing assistance as needed. Cajji is close to all of her Soquili, but is possibly the closest to her two oldest, Safi and Indawo, who began her lifelong love affair with the species. She deeply loves all of her Soqs and trusts that no matter where they wander off to, they will always make it back home in time. Home:She and her Soquili have made their home on the shores of the lake, where the constant lapping of the waves and the sound of the waterbirds keening provide melodious background noise. Swimming is a favorite pastime of all, and they can often be found playing together on the lakeshore.

About:Though Indawo started out in life as a spunky and friendly little colt, life has a way of kicking you in the teeth when you are least expecting it. Numerous unpleasant incidents with other foals when he was young lead to the evolution of a true paraih-like personality; Indawo trusts no one and has little desire for social contact. He is particularly sensitive about his flutter side, since his bubble-like wings and comparatively small stature were the main reason behind much of his childhood torment. He learned how to fight back and is capable of holding his own in a pitched battle, and it should not be assumed that he is a coward just because he tries to avoid others.
Though most of his troubles were with other stallions, he also has a patent distrust of mares, thinking them to be sneaky and untrustworthy creatures. Still, he has a slight feeling of sympathy for any underdog, and if the situation arose would likely act to defend a mare that was in danger. As a rule, though, he tries to avoid mares with just as much vehemence as he does stallions.
Moody and temperamental, Indawo has a habit of automatically assuming the worst of anyone he encounters. A surefire way to alienate him is to comment on his small stature or worse, his wings; if any stallion were to make even the slightest reference to his wings, that would be grounds for Indawo to get either violent or else simply withdraw. The only exception is other flutters; if a flutter were to comment on his wings, he would be less likely to take it as a slur on his masculinity. However, he has never met a male flutter and knows of only one female flutter, so obviously such occurances are few and far between.
Quirks/Mannerisms:

Relationships: Indawo is usually found wandering the wilds on his own; of all Cajji's Soquili, he is the least frequently around. Within his own herd, he has a grudging fondness for Safi (who he grew up with) though Safi's energy usually has a habit of rubbing Indawo the wrong way; he also has a relationship of mutual respect for Zaphiro. However, so much time has passed since he last came by the teepee that to his knowledge, those two are the only ones in his herd besides him...and interesting bit of addition for him to do when he next returns!
Outside of his own herd, Indawo has made little contact with other Soquilis, and always managed to remove himself from social situations early on. The one exception is his friendship with the flutter Meeki, whose silly antics always manage to brighten Indawo's usually black moods.
Romance: Observation has brought Indawo little respect for female behavior, and his very nature make it hard for him to connect. But if the right mare comes along, perhaps his shell will finally crack.

 About: Though he grew up with Indawo, the personalities of Cajji's first two Soquili couldn't be more different. As a foal, Safi was wild, energetic, playful, and had a tendency to be annoying; when he grew up, he...was wild, energetic, playful, had a tendency to be annoying, and was a bit bigger. However, he managed to acquire a reputation for being a 'good guy' and became a favorite 'advice guru' for females with problems, particularly relationship problems. Though his teasing nature was as established as the shape of his wings, Safi was a surprisingly good listener and tended to know just what to say to help get the mares he was talking to back on their feet.
Outside of the advice realm, Safi generally tended to spend most of his time in the company of mares, but on a friendly level. He was especially fond of the spunky mares that had a sense of humor similar to his own, as he's a strong believer in humor solving all problems. In fact, up until very recently Safi was never known to have lost his temper or even gotten upset!
However, his goofball nature and friendliness towards mares had a few bad side effects, as those who observed him seemed to construe things about him that he wasn't sure he believed. In particular, slurs on his sexuality and 'normality' seemed to increase almost by the day, and Safi's usual method of dealing with problems (laugh them off) couldn't handle the strain; he fell into a deep depression, and after an almost violent altercation with his herdmates Indawo and Zaphiro he basically took off, falling off of the radar of those that knew him for several weeks.
During his time away, Safi tried to sort out the issue of who he really was. His normally buoyant personality was black and subdued, and for once he didn't want anyone around him. This turned out to be exceedingly unfortunate, as he managed to make his first enemy in a mare who had the bad fortune to surprise him at his brooding; Safi, trying to break out of his 'mask' of being a pansy, basically ignored her even though he could tell she was upset, and that led to the mare abandoning him to his musings with a new sense of anger.
Eschewing his role as soother didn't seem to do anything to calm Safi's inner demons, so he returned to his wanderings in the hope that he would find some way to prove to himself what he truly was. It was during this period of wandering that he came upon a minor acquaintance of his, Inali, who seemed to be in just as blue a funk as he was. The two exchanged notes on how lousy life could be sometimes, and as they were talking Safi came to realize that perhaps the situation was offering a way to show himself what he really was; to prove that he was a normal stallion that loved mares and sex as much as any normal stallion; for her own reasons, Inali became a willing partner in the act, but afterwards both were struck by the enormity of what they'd done, causing Safi to literally pass out from the shock before taking off on the sly in hopes of escaping what had turned out to be another bad choice.
After leaving Inali, Safi had basically given up hope of ever sorting things out with himself when he was encountered by the cardinal Soquili Guilian, whom he had actually never met before. Guilian, as an 'experienced' stallion, was able to convince Safi that perhaps it wasn't so bad to be different from the common crowd. Following that meeting, Safi decided to take his chances with what he knew, returning to his teepee and ultimately making peace with his herdmates.
The experience was a valueable one, though; Safi is more thoughtful than he used to be, and tries not to care about anything that people say. He's one of the type that tries not to let things get to them...but now he's not afraid to say when things get to him. He's comfortable in his own skin, but what that skin really represents he's just not sure as of yet.
Recently, Safi received the chance to find out a bit more about himself when he stumbled across an abandoned basket while out wandering about; after hanging around keeping a watchful eye on things for five days, he finally came to the realization that no one was coming; and of course, he couldn't leave said basket out on its own...so say hello to daddy Safi!
Quirks/Mannerisms:

Relationships: Safi is a pretty good-natured guy as a rule, so it's no surprise that he gets along with just about everyone. He's one of the few stallions that Indawo (who Safi tends to call Indy) doesn't loathe; they have somewhat of a love/hate relationship due to Safi's overabundance of energy and enthusiasm, which tends to bug Indawo a great deal; however, both know that they can count on the other in a pinch. He's great friends with Zaphiro, having taken it upon himself to show the sapphire stallion around when he joined the herd; Zaphiro's relative calm and milder sense of humor tend to make him the perfect 'straight man' to many of Safi's jokes. He has a great deal of respect for Guilian; though the two have very different lifestyles, Safi looks up to the cardinal stallion as a guru in his own right, and the two of them certainly believe in laughter.
As far as the mares go, it's probably accurate to say that Ladius is Safi's closest friend within the herd. Though the two are very different, each respects the other for their commitments to principle; besides that, Safi's lack of taking himself seriously makes him one of the few stallions Ladius can put up with! He also enjoys spending time twitting Elizabeth, though it's doubtful that the feeling is mutual.
Externally, Safi ihas a wide range of friendships with other Soquili; however, he's closest to the alicorn Selene. The two are great friends, and Safi actually took on a parental role in relation to Selene's daughter, Yue.
He has a good relationship with his brother Kohana's son Kwahu, and hopes that Kwahu will help bridge the gap that has grown between the brothers over time. Though close as kids, Safi and Kohana wound up growing apart over time due to...well, a few factors; but Safi hopes that one day the two will be able to talk freely once again.
Right now, Safi's life is pretty much devoted to his daughter Saiena; since the filly emerged from her basket, she has become her father's pride and joy. And why not, when she's completely devoted to him as well? Though now that new son Kileyo is on the scene, both father and daughter are going to have to make some changes...
Romance: By nature, Safi is a friend. He's the goofball buddy that girls turn to to talk of relationship woes and guys ask advice of, not really the type who's actively seeking romance himself. While he's not above playful flirting (especially if there's an irate parent around), it's hard to say exactly what kind of Soquili would truly attract his interest...but one thing is certain: it won't be a mare.

 About: Thoughtful, serious, and even noble, Zaphiro is one who prefers to think before acting and loathes the idea of rushing into anything. He's a gentleman in the true sense of the word, believing that ladies should always be treated with respect and that stallions should avoid acting like asses; however, he's not above getting involved in a fight over something he feels strongly about. He's good-natured and social, loves good conversation, and has a keen enough sense of humor to make him less than dull.
These things considered, you'd think he would be a bit more involved than his is, but past experiences have made him wary. Though many are attracted to his shimmering coat and glittering wings, he's deeply insecure about the fact that he is such an 'unnatural' Soquili; his deepest dream as a child (and indeed, one that he still holds to some degree as an adult) was to be a simple black or brown stallion, plain and unadorned. He hates attracting attention based on his looks, and after being basically hit on for being 'sexy' he has beome paranoid about the motives of any mare that approaches him. Though he tries not to jump to conclusions, any compliments he's given about his appearance tend to make him distinctly ill-at-ease, no matter how innocent the words.
However, even when he feels uncomfortable he never feels justified in simply abandoning a mare, and will usually hang around until he feels he can justifiably extricate himself from the situation. That said, though, Zaphiro doesn't necessarily suffer from mare paranoia, and has struck up warm friendships with more than one.
Since settling down with his mate Hienna, Zaphiro's suspicion of the fairer sex has tempered, and he tends to go into social situations with an open mind and a readiness to assume the best. Even if that doesn't work, he can at least say now that he's mated to get the overzealous pursuers to back off...and even more importantly, it's the truth!
However, these days Zaph hasn't been much up to doing extensive socializing. Since settling down with Hie, the two have had their share of emotions both good and bad, and following the miscarriage of their first ever children, things have been strained and stiff between the two as a pair and Zaphiro as an idividual. Though he places no blame on his mate for the sickness that took their foals and nearly her, Zaphiro can't help but feel that he himself is to blame for their new sorrow; after all, stillbirths and miscarriages run in his family...

Relationships: A genuiniely kind and noble Soq, Zaphiro tends to get along with most of the others he meets. Within his own herd, he has a mutual respect for Indawo, though he rarely sees the flutter stallion. He enjoys Safi's company, finding the goofball stallion to be a good tension-breaker, though it took Zaph a long time originally to get used to Safi's somewhat strange sense of humor. Zaphiro also has a fondness for Kildegard, liking the younger stallion in spite of his spacey nature and tendency to admire Guilian. However, Zaph has a pronounced dislike of Guilian, finding him to be an utter reprobate and completely amoral. He also has a mutual dislike of Ladius; her bluntness and blatant dislike of all that he feels is right have served to make him very much dislike the opinionated mare. However, he and Elizabeth, being that they're both believers in etiquette, have always gotten along admirably.
Beyond the herd, Zaphiro has mostly had good relationships with those he meets. However (and much to his eternal chagrin), he has a bad habit of viewing most of the mares he meets as younger sisters or some other such thing; he's felt the need to protect and to soothe often enough, but always in the vein of and older brother looking out for the welfare of a younger sister, which is hardly condusive to a romantic relationship!
Romance: The sapphire represents true love, and Zaphiro found it in the guise of his beloved Hienna. Though the two had a few snags in the start of their relationship, the two are deeply in love and Zaph is willing to do whatever it takes to keep things right.

About: Some Soquilis are insecure about themselves. Others are terribly shy and never make contact with others for fear of rejection. Some are egotistical to the point of being maniacal, thinking that they are superior to everyone else and reminding everyone about that fact. Some think that they are better than everyone else and that they should only associate with the best, and some are just plain emo.
And then...there's Guilian.
Red is the color of passion, and there are few that exemplify that emotion better than this Soquili hearthrob. Guilian could never be described as being insecure; he thinks himself to be the greatest lover, handsomest stallion, and all-round greatest thing in existence. However, it spite of his rampant egotism, he is essentially a kind and considerate Soquili, though he operates under his own version of a moral code.
He is a player of the first order and could no better commit to one mare than a gourmand could live on bread, but he shudders at the thought of abandonment. Rather, he has such an insatiable appetite for variety that the traits he looks for in mares vary from hour to hour; consequently, he will put the moves on any mare under sun, finding all to be lovely in differing ways. Though used to mares melting at his feet, Guilian is always intrigued by challenges and puts forth every ounce of his formidable charm when he encounters a mare that turns up her dainty nose to his advances...and when he's set his mind to seducing a mare, it's rare he fails.
However, in spite of his womanizing ways Guilian doesn't see himself as a cheater. Rather, he is loyal to every mare while he is with her, and that's all that can ever be expected of any one stallion. In fact, he's more than willing to tell mares that he doesn't believe in committment, if they ask him.
In his own mind, Guilian sees himself as a gentleman. As the most perfect specimen of male around, he sees it as a public service to woo and seduce as many mares as possible, especially those that first approach him; after all, to deny any mare the joy of experiencing him would be a cruelty too great for his fragile spirit to bear!
The one long-standing exception to Guilian's all-encompassing mare view is mares with mates or significant others. Though the idea of being limited to one partner is a revulsion to Guilian's character, he has a great deal of respect for those that decide to follow such paths, though he puts monogamy on par with celibacy. If he discovers that a mare he's gunning for is otherwise attached, he immeadiately backs off on the wooing, and has even been known to reject flat-out offers on the part of mares unsatisified with their relationships on the grounds that such would be ungentlemanly. Additionally, since his (in his own mind) disasterous 'relationship' with the kalona Izusa, Guilian is more careful in just what mares he pursues and/or indulges; kalona are no longer an attainable goal, but something to avoid.
Age and family have done little to change Guilian and his way of life; with each additional child or lover, he simply adds one more name to the list of those he needs to make time for. Ask any of Guilian's children, and you'll learn that he's an involved and doting father, if a bit interested in their sex lives. Ask his mares and, regardless of the mare's own personal opinions, you'll learn that he is nothing if not devoted to satisfying himself and them as well, not only physically but emotionally as well. After all, who doesn't like a good conversation?

Relationships: Good natured as a rule, Guilian himself tends to get along with just about everyone. He loves mares and most mares love him; towards stallions he tends to behave in a friendly fashion, offering advice when he feels it's meritted and otherwise being a friend. However, he's not above a little underhanded dealing when competing for attention...
His closest friend is probably the kalona Ariston (sin of Pride); although their first meeting was strange, the two stallions found that they both understood each other and got along well, to the point that they actively seek each other out to talk, compare notes, and discuss problems.
In spite of his somewhat formiddable track record, only two of Guilian's relationships have resulted in children (to his knowledge). The first set are the offspring of Guilian and the emotionally unstable kalona Izusa; sons Antony and Nicholi and daughter Neve are their father's pride and joy; although far from a 'typical' father, he in conscientious about providing for them and takes his role very seriously. While the three were foals, he swallowed his own distaste for the situation they were all in and spent as much time with them and Izusa as possible; now that the three are grown, Guilian makes a concerted effort to see them all at some point or another (not an easy task when one considers that all of them are transient and have wings!) and always has time for them.
More recently, Guilian's long-term 'relationship' with the mare Luca resulted in the birth of two more baskets; who knows what THEY will prove to be like? One thing is certain; they'll have an interesting family!
Romance: Guilian is absolutely pro-love; however, this is love in the most physical of senses, and it's doubtful this feathered Cassanova would ever settle down. At best, his relationships with mares could be called a harem; he keeps in contact with virtually every mare he's ever met and does his best to keep up contact as he can. However, in spite of his efforts to keep in touch, he's far from committed in the traditional sense.
The closest thing that Guilian has to a mate is Luca, a mare with morals and beliefs strikingly similar to his own. When together, the two delight in each other's company and conversation, knowing full well that when they are apart each will be seeking other diversions. But seeing as how they're both on the same page...well, there's not really anything to be upset about, is there?

About: As can hopefully be implied from the name, Haru is a cosplay of Hatsuharu Sohma from the manga/anime Fruits Basket (in the story, he's possesed by the spirit of the ox). For obvious reasons, the cursed part of his character is nonexistant in Haru's Soquili form, but the basics of his personality are the same (or as similar as I can play them!)
Most of the time, Haru is a good-natured guy with a laid back nature and a 'whatever' attitude; he tends to let things happen without interfering much, and he doesn't really let things get to him. He has a habit of being uncommunicative; as he sees it, personal exchanges are for those that actually are close enough to have reasons to share. He's not above listening to the stories and problems of others, but it's not very realistic to expect him to be willing to share in return.
However, if he gets provoked or irritated unexpectedly, then his 'black' side crops up; unlike his normal white side, black Haru is violent, rude, abrasive, and very much a cad. Black periods can last an indeterminant amount of time, usually until he gets startled back to being white, gets knocked out, or has something along similar lines happen. But the best way to deal with black Haru is to not bring him around.
Quirks/Mannerisms:

Relationships: Technically speaking, Haru isn't a member of the herd; he's never been to the teepee area, nor has he met any of the Soquilis that belong in that herd. He's a loner, and plans on keeping it that way.

About: When it comes to describing Kildegard, the first term that comes to mind is 'spacey'. However, unlike absentmindedness or simple inattention, Kildegard possesses the unique ability to completely block himself off from the rest of the world, while still operating within it. When he has something on his mind, he will completely withdraw into his own thoughts, oblivious to everything and everyone around him; this doesn't mean that he won't move or interact, it just means that he won't realize it or remember it later. When he's in one of his trances, he can weave through trees, dodge other Soquilis, carry on basic conversations...but if approached later by one of the Soqs he spoke to or passed, he won't remember anything.
It's easy to tell when he's in one of his trances, as his normally alert black eyes become dull and dead-looking. However, if he gets jarred out of his thoughts then anyone around can track his progression back to consciousness by watching those same eyes. He's usually confused upon being snapped back, due to the fact that he often doesn't know where he is or what he's doing there, but always puts forth a concerted effort to figure out what's what.
When he's not in his trances, Kildegard is a pleasant enough stallion with a mild sense of humor and a sheepish smile. He knows very well about his stupors, but since he can't control them he tries to accept them with a grain of salt. He can't really explain what happens, or where his mind goes when he's out of it, but tends to stay comfortable in the knowledge that there's always bound to be something to snap him back to reality, no matter what.
Quirks/Mannerisms:

Relationships: A relatively unassuming and unpretenscious stallion, Kildegard doesn't usually have problems getting along with other Soquilis when he's 'in the here and now', particularly if they know about his tendency to space out. However, others have been insulted in the past by his supposed rudeness when they've encountered him in one of his trances...and then he gets confused if he encounters them later. Hard to keep track when you're not paying attention, after all!
Romance: Kildegard is definitly a fan of females, but not to the extent of being obnoxious about it. Still, he's had bad luck in the past due to him falling into a trance and simply wandering off when he was due to meet up with females; apparently even knowledge of his condition fails to excuse being stood up. Still, he remains optimistic; after all, it's not like he can change!

About: The middle child and younger son of Guilian and Izusa, Antony, like his siblings, grew up shrouded in the complexities of being "different." Although neither Tony (as his father calls him) nor his siblings inherited the bloodthirsty or dangerous elements of the traditional kalona disposition, that didn't mean that such wasn't suspected by those that they met. Antony's kalona wings and fangs were a clear indication that he was no normal foal, and many other Soquili reacted accordingly.
However hard it is to understand predjudice when you don't know why it exists, Antony nevertheless managed to get past the hurt of being "different" and of being feared. After all, there was a lot to like about being the way he was, and he and his brother (who had the most physical kalona traits) in time learned to embrace their differences as something positive.
Growing up in his family was a different experience from that of most foals; Antony and his siblings lived mostly with their mother, the kalona Izusa, in a secluded bower far away from most of society. His father, Guilian, did not exactly live with them; rather, he "cycled through" periodically, bringing food and stories, the promise of wonderful adventure. As the foals grew, Guilian took to taking one or two of the foals with him as he roamed about, introducing them to a world beyond their glade and their mother.
When Guilian was around Izusa, Antony got to witness another unusual element of parental interaction; though Guilian and Izusa tried not to bicker when the kids were about, it was an accepted fact that the two parents would argue when Guilian was around. Consequently, hearing such disputes wasn't an issue for any of the foals, accepting them as reality as they did.
Strange upbringing aside, Antony managed to develope a relaxed outlook on life; nothing is really worth worrying about except enjoying yourself, a motto he picked up from his father. Relationships: Growing up with Guilian for a father, Antony was exposed to a lifestyle that emphasized freedom and lack of commitment. Consequently, Antony views issues of socialization and sex with a much more relaxed viewpoint than most others. Unlike his father, Antony believes in the existance of friendship and cameraderie withOUT there being any ulterior motives; that said, he too has an eye for the mares and isn't shy about asking about interest. The downside to this, of course, is that there IS such a thing as being too blunt...
Romance: While he very much appreciates the fairer sex, Tony basically shares his fathers beliefs in that limiting oneself to one mare means you're cutting yourself out of a hefty portion of the market. That said, he's much less cynical with regards to the concept of romantic love that Guilian, so it's difficult to say exactly what his true thoughts are...

About: The only boy out of three, Trev grew up in a family situation that was atypical at best. Due to circumstances he still isn't completely aware of, his father and mother split up rather violently when he and his two sisters were still baskets; this resulted in his father taking off with one of his sisters' baskets and Trev and his remaining sister being left with their mother, Nostalgia, who raised both foals with the aid of a stallion called Draven.
Though a close bond exists between Trev, Nos, Draven, and Memory, his first experience with his father and other sister was disasterous, resulting in the colt firmly blocking JC into the 'enemy' category. The meeting also moved him to focus heavily on learning the skills of defense and combat, determined to do his part in protecting his mother and sister from the danger posed by his father in specific and the world at large.
Growing up, he was always very close to his sister Memory; this bond became even more profound after Memory's almost fatal meeting with the mutant Plague. Unaware of what happened until much later, Trev has never truly forgiven himself for 'letting her down'.
Though he accepts and understands that mares can and will defend themselves in times of danger, Trev embraces the idea of the stallion as the protector; consequently, he tends to slip into a patronizing mindset when dealing with most mares.
Mild-mannered and mostly even-tempered, Trev is nevertheless capable of holding strong grudges and isn't afraid to let the parties in question know. This is usually only a last resort tactic, though, as he prefers to simply AVOID those that he dislikes.

  About: As a cosplay Soquili, it should come as no surprise that Elizabeth is like her movie counterpart: determined, feisty, courageous, and not above getting her hands dity if need be. While she has a great deal of personal pride, she doesn't believe in being snobby and never looks down her nose at anyone...unless they give her cause to first! And never, never get the impression that she won't fight simply because she's a lady!
That said, Elizabeth is a firm believer in proper etiquette, propriety, and above all, manners. If she feels she's been insulted or ill-treated in any sense, she'll go on the defensive faster than you can snap your fingers, and her temperament will turn ice-cold to match. Once an individual has gotten into Liz's black list, it's hard for them to get back.

Relationships: A generally pleasant Soquili by nature, it seems as though Elizabeth should be quite social. However, several bad experiences have made her much more resolute about sticking in her comfort zone; consequently, she lives full-time at the teepee. This doesn't mean she doesn't get her share of conversation, though, as her various herdmates tend to wander through at intervals.
Of her herdmates, she's the closest to Zaphiro; a warm friendship sprang up between the two almost instantly, though it never progressed beyond that. Liz is very fond of the sapphire stallion, and counts him as one of the few she can actually talk to.
Liz is also very fond of Safi, those his antics have a habit of grating on her nerves. When his daughter Saiena was still in the basket, Elizabeth helped watch her so that Safi could have time to himself; now that Safi has ANOTHER basket around, she's all set to start the cycle of watching all over again.
At the other end of the spectrum, Liz dislikes Ladius, a mutual feeling shared between the mares. To put it simply...they're very, very different.
Guilian is easier to sum up; he tried to seduce the comely unicorn very early on, and much to her chagrin she was actually starting to fall for him when she figured out his true colors and drove him off; her efforts have been noteworthy, but Guilian hasn't given up hope...
Romance A passionate Soq, Elizabeth believes in love as long as it's true. False protestations and hollow flattery won't fly with this filly, and she's had enough experience with the latter to know what it is that ISN'T acceptable (nice going, Ariston and Guilian!).

 About: Confident, cool, and collected, Ladius is one of the type that has principles and sticks to them no matter what. First and foremost among these principles is her belief that mares and stallions are ultimately equal; consequently, she has a great dislike for stallions that assume mares are weak or treat mares like sex objects; she also strongly dislikes mares that she sees as 'furthering the case of female inferiority', ie those that cater to the whims of stallions.
A skilled figher, Ladius believes that unless you are willing to fight for what you believe in, you aren't qualified to call yourself a supporter; a method she commonly uses to determine whether or not a stallion is a worthwhile creature is to challenge him to a fight. If the stallion accepts and fights like he means it, she respects him; however, if he purposely goes easy on her for being a mare or refuses to fight at all on those grounds, she considers him worse than dirt.
As a rule, she prides herself on doing her own thing, her own way. She takes exercise and being in shape very seriously and spends most of her time racing about in the meadow she calls home; she's fond of chasing rabbits, and has the most unladylike habit collecting and rolling in the carcasses of dead animals (to hide her own smell from enemies). As Ladius sees life, you do what you feel is right and damn the critics.

Relationships: Perhaps Ladius' closest friend is her herdmate Safi. Though he doesn't fight and never seems to take things seriously, his goofy behavior acts as a foil when Ladius is especially serious. He might not take her seriously, but since he takes nothing seriously she enjoys his company.
However, she doesn't care much for the rest of her herdmates. Zaphiro and Guilian she dislikes on the grounds that both treat mares as weak, inferior, or sex objects; for the same reason she is frequently annoyed by Elizabeth, whose constant harping on etiquette and being a lady have caused friction between the two on many accounts.
Romance: It would take quite the guy for Ladius to fall in love; she'd only consider the types that would treat her as an equal, and that sort of stallion seems to be few and far between.

 About: Ever since the day she emerged from her basket, Saiena has been giving those around her a run for their money. Energetic and high-spirited as her father, she loves nothing more than being active and sticking her spotted nose into just about everything she can. Though she feels it's HIGHLY unfair that she doesn't have wings like her father, she more than makes up for that absent trait with her remarkable footspeed; it should come as no suprise that she utterly adores racing and other games of speed. A consumate ball of energy, she's always on the lookout for new playmates.
Now that she's an adult, Saiena has a great deal more freedom than she did as a foal and is taking advantage of that to the best of her abilities. While her lack of wings inspires the occassional wistful rumination, for the most part she's happy with her legs; longer as they now are, she's faster than ever. This has come in handy in more than one occassion; just because she's no longer a foal doesn't mean that she can't still have a foal's curiousity...

Beyond her father and brother, she's a warm mare who enjoys meeting people. As a filly, she tended to drive her father to distraction with her talent for disappearing; now that she's grown, she still likes to wander off in search of adventure and a new friend or two. Who knows who or what she'll find next?

She seemed to be caught in a singular plight, and despite her somewhat abrupt mood changes there's just something about her he couldn't ignore. However, since parting ways the two haven't seen each other.Akila (Keen)~Antony: Amoena (Impetuous)~Safi: Safi's neice, daughter of Kohana. When he first came across her, she was a filly and had no idea who he was, but her coat marked her to him as his neice, a truism proved when he met her mother. Amey, as he calls her, is feisty, tough, and opinionated, but Safi is truly fond of her and the feeling seems to be mutual.~Ladius: The two met one day while out at the beach. Something about Ladius managed to impress the young mare, and Amoena was given the chance to be Ladius' disciple...which she lost almost immeadiately. Never put your life in the hands of one you can't trust, Amoena... ~Saiena: Anubis (Skittish)~ Zaphiro: Zaph literally ran over Anubis while out running one day, tripping over the lounging Anu and sending both flying. And why not, when they shared a mutual passion for apples...among other thingsSelene (Vivacious)~ Safi: Safi met Selene while out wandering one day; the two exchanged pleasntries that ultimately amounted to little more than excessive silliness and parted ways as friends; since then, the two have met up more than once and become quite close.
~Zaphiro: Zaph met Selene briefly when she came to the camp to see Safi's basket; he thought her an attractive mare, but didn't spend enough time with her to get any other opinion.

~Guilian: Sukari was one of the more prickly mares Guilian's come across in his womanizing career, but her wariness seemed to stem from family trauma of a personal nature. But there are more ways to get to a mare's heart than through physicality...

~Zaphiro: Zaphiro met this mare when he rescused her from a group of men who had evil designs on her horn. The two managed to get away in safety, and Zaph feels protective of her in a brotherly fashion.

~Saiena: Aside of her father and hermates, Wambli is the first person Saiena has met since emerging from her basket. This, paired with the older mare's willingness to play, meant that Sai couldn't be happier.
~Safi: Having a kid like Saiena means you're constantly on the move; Safi met Wambli while hunting down his far-ranging daughter and almost immeadiately liked both Wambli's patience and her sense of humor.
Windflame Bloodrider (Dark, Sangfroid)
~Ladius: This kalona is and was the epitome of all that is bad in the Soquili stallion world; egotistical, macho, belittling, and self-righteous, Ladius found herself hating him from the first words out of his mouth. The two fought, but miraculously she managed to get away alive...

~Safi: The moody and suspicious stallion met Safi while ill; however, Safi was able to use his amazing skills of annoyance to aid Xantir in getting back home to his teepee...which happened to be the home of Safi's neice.

~Elizabeth: Though Yei was traveling with Para, Liz found herself enjoying the company of the friendly and energetic mare. Who knows, perhaps the friend of my friend isn't necessarily my enemy?

~Safi: The daughter of Safi's good friend Selene, Safi managed to connect to the somewhat wilfull foal on their first meeting and even earn her respect. In spite of her initial rudeness, he's very fond of her and thinks of her as a daughter.
~Zaphiro: Zaphiro met Yue while she and her mother were visiting the teepee with Safi; somehow Zaphiro wound up having to entertain Yue while her mother oogled the basket. Her energy was a bit much, but her found himself amused at the behavior of the "kid"

Isn't this basket precious? Indawo's basket was my first ever Soquili basket, so for the (brief bit of) time that it was my only one, I probably nearly smothered it in love. Luckily, it didn't seem to affect poor Indawo! Anyway, at this point, I didn't know much about what to expect when it opened...but it sure had cute spots!
At almost the exact same time as Safi, Indawo popped out of his basket a healthy and energetic foal! Just like his papa, he's cheetah-esque...only with one of the loveliest pairs of flutter wings every! They remind me of bubble wrap, sorta...but Indawo never exactly appreciated the comments. In fact, those cute wings were the bane of his foalhood, oddly enough. He's so not fun sometimes...
Geez, you turn your back for one second, and your little boy is a big strong adult*! Those wings of his, for all their fragile appearance, are sturdy and strong, enough to bear his weight and fly him about with great speed. However, he's still rather bitter about them, their appearance, and what they represent, so I don't think he ever actually flies on them...which is quite the pity.
This is Indawo, modelling his gorgeous accessories. Isn't that earring interesting? I wasn't very surprised when Safi turned up with accessories, but seeing them on Indy was sure a shock! He must have been feeling exceptionally accomodating to allow anyone near HIM with decorations... 
This is Safi, back when he was just a wee little basket...or rather, back when he was in a wee little basket. At this point, I didn't know his gender, or his appearance, or anything...but he sure had a purty basket! A sure sign of things to come, as I saw it.
Safi after emerging from his basket! Sure is gorgeous, isn't he? Apparently his mother's white really took is Safi, because he would up looking like a gorgeous frost-bitten lily. Or something poetic like that. And aren't his wings the coolest colors? However, don't go getting the idea that he's fragile; at this age, he was such a little imp!
They grow up so fast, don't they? Seems like just yesterday he was a basket, and now he's a handsome stallion, just like his papa. I don't think he'd have any problem with the ladies in terms of appearance, at least...not that he cares about such things. Still a slow runner, but man can this guy fly!
Like Indawo, Safi recently got some shmexy feathered accessories; he also opted for a triple ear piercing! Talk about your tough guys...at least in theory. Hey Safi; it takes more than piercings to make the character! 
Obviously baskets and spots go together for me; this little bundle of love was Saiena, back before she decided to grace us with her prescence. And oddly enough she had everyone wrapped around her hoof even then...
Cute as her basket was, we were all squeeing when Saiena emerged, the cutest little purple spotted baby we'd ever seen (sorry, Indy). Her 'father' Safi is totally over the moon, and if her foalish good looks are any hint she'll be a lovely mare someday! Safi's little girl is all grown up, and what a radiant mare she's become! Those curls and rosy cheeks make it easy for this pretty girl to get her papa to do anything she wants...so it's lucky for Safi that she loves him as much as she does! Though things were a bit tough for Sai growing up 'different', she managed to overcome being the flightless child of a winged stallion and become the leggy creature of the wind that she currently is. 
One day your Soquilis are off doing their own thing, the next day they're paying for it with baskets. Little Antony here is his father's middle child and, if this basket is any indication, promises to take after his father in at least one way. I wonder where the white came from, though...  Out of the basket, Tony (as his father has already dubbed him) is every bit his own Soquili; for better of for worse, he has visible traits of both the kalona and wind he inherited. Hopefully he learns to keep those fangs tucked in, otherwise he might just wind up getting a pierced lip or two. All grown up, Antony has surpassed the base height of all other stallions in the herd; he's a hand and a half taller than his own father, and muscled and massive enough to stand out even WITHOUT those wings. Obviously he took after his father in grooming habirs, though, as the long forelock and the touch of roses are anything BUT typical kalona accents... 
This tan basket appeared along with two others, both bearing traces of blue. Trev had to be the different one even as a basket, so it makes sense that he would be the most vanilla looking of the bunch. Granted, apperances can be decieving...  Once he'd emerged from the basket, there was no mistaking just who Trev's father was. The same black hair, the same tan coat, the same pointed teeth...granted, JC has no horn, but it's still safe to say that in this case, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Though I wonder what's up with that chain... Talk about your handsome adults! Trev has definitely grown into his own, and is every inch the proud stallion. That tiny little horn of his definitely has its positives I'd say, though; you never know when you'll trip and need a bit of healing...and with that chain around his foot, tripping is easier than one might think! 
Ah, the dangers of the hedonistic lifestyle struck our favorite cardinal once again, as Guilian welcomed two new baskets with his ladylove Luca. This particular basket stood out to the proud papa as a lovely blend of his own red with Luca's deep purple, resulting in the most beautiful shade of red-violet imaginable. Who knows what we can expect from this?  Baskethood is a short time, but it can feel like forever when you're looking to the future. Little Amary burst onto the scene in a blaze of hooves and bright feathers. From that moment on, she was working her magic on everyone around her...starting with her daddy! Our little girl is all grown up and looks set to be a real heart breaker. Watch out world, here she comes...

IndawoAwnaety~ Relation to Indawo: Acquaintance ~ About: Indawo met Awnaety while out walking one day, and rather than chase her away he allowed the placid mare to accompany him. Though he wouldn;t care to repeat the meeting, it wasn't as unpleasant as it could be. ~ Indawo's feelings: Neutral Death~ Relation to Indawo: Acquaintance ~ About: Indawo literally met Death in passing and consequently has virtually no opinions about her beyond appreciation for her speedy exit. ~ Indawo's feelings: Neutral. Eloran~ Relation to Indawo: Acquaintance ~ About: Though initially wary of the large stallion, Indawo eventually came to respect Eloran for his devotion to his principles. Though Indawo himself has little sympathy or understanding for those that spend time with two-leggers, Eloran's positive attitude and strong sense of self resulted in him becoming one of the only stallions Indawo has ever respected. ~ Indawo's feelings: Positive bordering on friendship. Meeki~ Relation to Indawo: Friend ~ About: As the only other flutter Indy had ever met, Meeki was the first other Soquili to break past his shell with regards to his detested wings. Though her energy and enthusiasm are in many ways at odds with his somber and serious attitude, Indawo generally enjoys her company and welcomes the break from his usual solitude. ~ Indawo's feelings: Strong friendship Remy LeBeau~ Relation to Indawo: Acquaintance ~ About: Another short meeting was the beginning and end of Indy's relations with Remy thus far; an atypical lack of focus on Indawo's part led to him meeting the somewhat antagonistic stallion in the middle of a rant. However, the two managed to avoid violence and part of amiable terms. ~ Indawo's feelings: Neutral Safi~ Relation to Indawo: Friend ~ About: At the same time Indawo came into the care of the two-legger Cajji, so too did the wind foal Safi. Though much more energetic and bouncy than Indawo, Safi proved to be a good friend and remains the only stallion Indawo is truly on good terms with. ~ Indawo's feelings: Friendship Tori~ Relation to Indawo: Acquaintance ~ About: Indawo met Tory in one of his rare lighthearted moods and joined the mare for a bit of watersport. It was a brief meeting, but enjoyable nonetheless. ~ Indawo's feelings: Neutral
SafiAmoena~ Relation to Safi: Neice ~ About: The eldest child of Safi's brother Kohana, Amoena was raised entirely by her mother, a mare whose experience with Kohana had almost literally began and end with the conception of their foals. Circumstances being what they were, though, Safi wound up becoming quite close to the filly, becoming in some ways a father-figure and in others a playmate to his neice. Though she can be prickly, Safi honestly adores her and does his best to help see her through trying times. ~ Safi's feelings: Positive; Affection Anubis~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Safi met Anubis at roughly the same time Zaphiro did as a direct result of Safi tricking the other stallion into literally crashing into Anubis (albeit indirectly). Upon actually talking to the stallion, Safi was delighted to learn that Anubis actually had a sense of humor, and the meeting broke up on good terms. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Artemis Entreri~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: The darkly sardonic Entreri came upon Safi when Safi was at one of his darkest periods. Though mocking and abrasive, Entreri's behavior forced Safi to look at himself honestly and finally see himself for what he was. Though he might not want to repeat the meeting, Safi has to admit that it was for the best. ~ Safi's feelings: Mixed Aruna~ Relation to Safi: Friend ~ About: Safi has met Aruna on a couple occassions, and each meeting followed a slightky similar pattern. It was with Aruna that Safi truly began to live up his self-professed position of advice-giver, and he deeply appreciates what she did for him as a result of that. ~ Safi's feelings: Friendship Ayden~ Relation to Safi: Neice's half brother, no relation to Safi ~ About: Safi briefly met Ayden, son of Lunathiel and Shadow, one day while meeting with Amoena, Ayden's half-sister. Since the meeting was basically limited to a greeting on the part of each, Safi really didn't have much of an impression of the foal. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral Aziraphale~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Safi almost literally stumbled across the seemingly reclusive Az while out walking in the woods one day. Though initially surprised and contrite about disturbing the solitude of the other stallion, Az's calm acceptance of the situation proved to be enough to set Safi at ease, paving the way for a rather interesting conversation about the romantic drive of mares. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Dodger~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Dodger, uncle of Wadi, was met by Safi when Safi had accompanied Wadi back to his homeplace one night. Dodger, the sole representative of Wadi's extended family, got to have the honor of representing them all to the visitor. The two stallions started out on a bit of a wary footing, but in the course of their barbs came to get along. Or at least fake it well. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Duo Maxwell~ Relation to Safi: Friend/old crush ~ About: A herdmate of Selene, Duo was a stallion that Safi wound up seeing a great deal of at the height of Safi and Selene's 'relationship'. A wise-cracker with a kind heart, Duo managed to grab Safi's eye and wound up being the first stallion Safi ever acknowledged his own homosexuality with. Though things never went anywhere with the two, Safi still harbors fond feelings for Duo. ~ Safi's feelings: Friendship Elizabeth Swann~ Relation to Safi: Friend and herdmate ~ About: Liz came to the herd shortly after Zaphiro, at a time when Safi still spent a lot of time at the teepee. Consequently, he came to know the somewhat formal mare pretty well, well enough to actually get her to tease and joke around with him and even ask favors of her, most prominantly when he asked her to help with the monitoring of his younger daughter Saiena when she was still in her basket. ~ Safi's feelings: Positive Ever Sacrifice~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: As things currently stand, Ever posessing the unique distinction of being the only mare to ever truly loathe Safi. Even MORE uniquely, she HAD the distinction of being the only mare (so far) that Safi has ever loathed. Bad timing on the part of both meant that their meetings went badly at the time; though Safi feels remorse about the bad impression he put forth, it's doubtful he'll ever have a chance to mend it. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/negative Firefly~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: The two encountered each other while out strolling in a meadow one day; the meeting was too short for Safi to get much of an impression of the dark mare beyond she had a proper appreciation for humor. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Fortune~ Relation to Safi: Friend ~ About: Safi met Fortune one brisk winter's day while she was playing in the snow; the two hit it off pretty early on, and became close friend. In fact, they became SUCH close friends that when Fortune found a basket, she brought it to Safi to father, and the rest is history. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong friendship Guilian~ Relation to Safi: Friend and herdmate ~ About: Back when Guilian was new to the settled lands of the Soquili, one of the very first stallions that he met was Safi, who at that time was still wandering in his blue funk of self-doubt. However, with his keen eye for such things, Guilian managed to set Safi at ease and even help direct him at the thing that he most needed to understand, for which Safi will always be grateful. ~ Safi's feelings: Positive and friendship Inali~ Relation to Safi: Friend and former lover ~ About: At best, the relationship between Safi and Inali is complicated. At one point friends, the two encountered each other at a low point of both of their egos, resulting in a tryst that for a while after made interaction nearly impossible. Luckily, however, they managed to move on after the incident, both having discovered something significan about themselves. To this day, Inali remains the only mare Safi has ever had any sort of physical intimacy with. ~ Safi's feelings: Positive and friendship Indawo~ Relation to Safi: Friend and herdmate ~ About: Growing up away from his family in the care of a two-legger, Safi was somewhat of a free spirit. Luckily for him, he wasn't the only foal around; Indawo had arrived at Cajji's at roughly the same time, and the two hit it off early on. In spite of the differences in temperament, the two stallions have always remained close, with Safi's energy and enthusiasm balancing Indawo's pessimism, isolation, and general negativity. Safi remains one of the few individuals who can always find Indawo...though he tries not to abuse the privilege. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong affection and friendship Jean-Claude~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Safi met JC one day while out walking; beyond being struck by the tan stallion's fangs, it really wasn't much of a meeting. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral Kasi~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Safi's first and lasting impression of Kasi was STRANGE. Though a bit of a character himself, he'd never really met a mare like Kasi who barked like a dog and talked of herself in the third person. Though the two didn't spend a great deal of time together, for the duration it was pretty entertaining. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Khairi~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Khairi and Safi met while up roaming the cold mountain region in the middle of winter, a climate that neither stallion seemed especially taken with. However, the company was good, and the two seemed to get along pretty decently, short as the meeting was. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Kileyo~ Relation to Safi: Adopted Son ~ About: Brought to Safi in a basket by a rather excited and bewildered Fortune, Kileyo came into Safi's life shortly after Saiena had emerged from her basket. Like Sai, Kileyo was an abandoned baby, and like Sai, he needed a father. Ever since agreeing to parent Kileyo, Safi has been a fond father, teaching his son everything from how to walk to how to fly and doing his best to help Kileyo become a strong stallion, klutziness aside. Though they may not be related by blood, Kileyo is very much Safi's son. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong love and affection Kimi~ Relation to Safi: Friend ~ About: Safi first met Kimi on a cold winter's day when both were trying to escape the cold and crazyness of a winter storm. After taking refuge in a cave, the two took to talking and actually developed a pretty strong friendship (as well as discovering that they were almost technically related). Since then, Safi has encountered Kimi a few times, and always enjoys the chance to renew their friendship. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong friendship Kohana~ Relation to Safi: Brother ~ About: Safi's older brother, like Safi, was raised mostly apart from their parents. However, the two managed to see a great deal of each other growing up, and in spite of Kohana's natural reserve always made a point of seeking each other out. Though a bit of a rift sprang up between them after reaching adulthood, Kohana's personal struggles following his encounter with the mare Lunathiel and the ensuing birth of their children proved to be a balm to the brothers' relationship as Safi grew close to both his neice and nephew, risking contact with Luna where Kohana couldn't. Though Kohana largely lives the life of a hermit, Safi is always willing to go dig him out to share the latest news...or even just say hi. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong love and affection Kwahu Lesharo~ Relation to Safi: Nephew ~ About: Kwahu, the only son of Kohana, proved to be so much like his uncle Safi straight out of the basket that in some ways it was astonishing to realize Safi wasn't his father. Winged, energetic, playful, and charming, Kwahu hit it off with his uncle right away, sneaking away to spend time with him unbeknowst to his parents. The only winged child of wingless parents, Kwahu learned to fly under Safi's tutelage and played a key role in mending the rift of the brothers. Even now that Kwahu is grown, he and Safi remain close; Safi looks on Kwahu as his own son in many ways, and looks forward to the cries of "Uncle Safi" and crash landings that herald Kwahu's arrival. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong love and affection Ladius~ Relation to Safi: Herdmate ~ About: Though Ladius' view on most stallions is negative, Safi's complete and utter lack of 'manly pride' and chauvenism meant that the prickly mare could actually enjoy Safi's company; as a stallion utterly willing to admit he's weak, he provides a source of amusement to Ladius when she's in the area, and for his part he's one of the few Soquili that can actually joke with her. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Micah~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintace ~ About: Safi met Micah at the same time that he met JC; the meeting was short, but Micah's energy amused Safi for the time being. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral Saiena~ Relation to Safi: Adopted daughter ~ About: Sai became Safi's daughter almost literally by accident; he stumbled over her abandoned basket while out walking in the woods one day, and the rest was history. Having already played a hand in the raising of his brother's kids, having one of his own was a dream come true, and for the duration of Sai's childhood he was a devoted father. Her sense of humor, fun, and mischeif have always served to cheer him, and even now that she's grown he loves to 'check up' on her. ~ Safi's feelings:Strong love and affection Selene~ Relation to Safi: Close friend ~ About: Selene was the first non-herd mare that Safi ever came to be close to; after a random encounter that basically revolved around bees, the two came to be very close and develop a strong friendship and even affection for each other, culminating in Selene asking Safi to be her mate. At that point, Safi had come to accept his homosexuality but had yet to share that info with anyone, so Selene became the first to know. Luckily, their relationship has remained strong since, and she's always been very supportive. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong love and affection Shaylee~ Relation to Safi: Friend ~ About: Safi met the strange little flutter down by the river one day; she needed advice and wanted to play, so he indulged her in both her desires and the two spent the time getting along famously. ~ Safi's feelings: Frienship Shikoba~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Shikoba and Safi met one afternoon when both stallions were taking in a bit of mountain air. Though it seemed at first as though Shikoba was guarded, before long Safi found himself giving relationship advice to the young stallion, relationship advice he earnestly hopes helped. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral Tori~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Tori and Safi met at the ultimate gathering pool of Soquilis: by the river. Though both were on their way elsewhere, they took the time to chat about the benefits and problems with family and have a good laugh. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral Wadi~ Relation to Safi: Friend and crush ~ About: When Safi first met Wadi, his impressions were of timid stallion that REALLY needed to lighten up. However, as the two began to spend more time together, Safi has found himself more and more charmed by Wadi's air of innocence and general aura of humbleness. Though at times he seems counter-productive in his timidity, Wadi is nevertheless a very interesting and important Soquili to Safi. ~ Safi's feelings: Affection and interest Wambli Zikala~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Safi met Wambli while out playing with Saiena one day; the fact that Wambli was willing to play along with the games of a child put her in a very positive light as far as the proud papa was concerned. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral/positive Xantir~ Relation to Safi: Acquaintance ~ About: Safi met the somewhat taciturn Xantir one day while out walking. Xantir had managed to injure his leg, and once he learned that Xan was a herdmate of his neice Amoena, Safi knew he had to help get the other stallion back at least to his teepee. Though the walk was long, the conversation at least proved interesting. ~ Safi's feelings: Neutral Yue Shuang~ Relation to Safi: ~ About: The only daughter of Safi's friend Selene, Yue originally proved a challenge in more ways that one. Mouthy, arrogant, and a total brat, she had a less than positive relationship with her mother and looked upon Safi as negative by association. However, with a bit of firmness and a bit of humor, Safi managed to get Yue to actually like him, even be fond of him, and has basically been a foster father to her ever since she was a filly. ~ Safi's feelings: Strong love and affection Zaphiro~ Relation to Safi: Friend and herdmate ~ About: Zaphiro came to the teepee not too long after Indawo and Safi reached adult; Safi, therefore, felt it was his duty to acclimate the new stallion to the ways and wherefores of the teepee area. Though Zaphiro was naturally very reserved, the two were eventually able to find a comfortable middle ground where they could actually get along. ~ Safi's feelings: Friendship

 My thanks to Sirenz and all the shop staff for the creation and maintainance of this wonderful shop; the colorists who help keep it going, and to Evelyn Kyros for designing this page and making all of the images for me ^^
