Will Turner waded back to shore from the blue seas, his hooves sinking in the white sands of the beach. He was completely soaked from head to tail, having to have swum from a smaller island not too far off to the one he was currently on.
He peered about himself as he got down nearer to the grass so as to roll. Since nobody was near him, that he could see, he rolled without any worry and was soon pretty dry.
He got up and trotted over to an odd looking tree with tough red and gold leaves, a few even scattered about the trunk, and took shelter there. A thick black cloud rolled overhead, and a deep rumble of thunder could be heard from not too far off. He hated storms; he sea grew angry when storms came, which meant bad things for the pirates he had once come to care for.

"Hrm..." Head raised to the heavens, Elizabeth Swann stood among the scattered trees not too far away from the beach. The winds had started to pick up, whipping back her curled man and tail and causing them, along with her heavy dress, to ripple and lash about wildly. But the mare didn't seem to notice; she was focused rather intently on the storm clouds that were starting to swirl about overhead. This was not a pleasant occurance; she always hated rain and storms, particularly when there wasn't anywhere to go to get out of the rain.
"Lovely, just lovely. I simply cannot win in these circumstances, can I? You just have to be difficuly, don't you?" Snorting a bit, the windblown mare fired her words up at the sky, her gaze set and level as though she expected a reply. In fact, it was difficult to say whether getting a reply would even have phased her, given the circumstances...
