Entreri stood in a open clearing, his daughter in front of him. he was giving her flying lessons, well more so making her wings strong enough so she could fly. " First lets see how strong your wings are." he spoke as he circeled her once and stopped right in front of her. oh he doubted her wings where very strong but there was a need to see how well she could use those wings at the moment plus he wanted to see how fast she would catch on. " go on and attempt to fly." watching her every move, he waited to see how she did.

Rynia did NOT like this, not one teeny bit. Having her father around at all was bad enough, but at least when her mother and Shiraz were there she had a bit of space. Today, it was just him and her, and she was the subject of his undivided attention. Not a pleasant thing at all, especially when he was circling her and eyeing her like a predator would its prey.
That was how she felt, anyway, but in spite of that she could at least try to do what he said. This was for flight, after all, and flight was something she wanted.
That in mind, she took a deep breath, flexed her small wings, then began to beat them as hard as she could.

Entreri watch her as she attempted to fly as he asked. he found he was glad Ladius made the two so obediant so early on since he hardly had any take on their raising just yet. snorting he shook his head, she would need more pratice with her wings if she where going to fly. " keep that up til you believe you can not do it anymore and dont drop from the heigth your at." never leting his eyes off her, he would watch for any drop from the small bit of heigth she managed and if she did drop slightly he would would make a small snort. some might say he was being hard on her first day but then he would jsut call them weak fools.

Closing her eyes, Rynia managed to give her father a tiny nod of acquiesence, continuing to beat her wings in rapid strokes. While it wasn't the most impressive bit of 'flight' ever attempted, her front hooves WERE a whole inch or two off the ground and her back hooves only had the front edge touching. In fact, if she wasn't so anxious about things she'd probably be excited that she'd managed that much!
But there was a time for excitement, and this wasn't it. Right now, she had to focus, concentrate, and keep flapping; the last thing she wanted was those cold eyes on her, expressing their disappointment at yet another failure.
However, keeping her height was easier said than done as her wings, thus far untrained, wore out easily. Already her energy was less, and her front feet were starting to droop.

indeed her flight attempt was not all that impressive but impressive for one that never have been trained to fly. watching her attempt, his eyes narrowed as she started to already start drooping after only so long of attemptign to keep her distance she got flappign her wings. snorting he stayed silent adn stood still as a statue waitign for the moment she would stop completely for him to make a remark. there was no reason to say something just yet since she clearly wasnt done just yet and even if he didnt voice his disapointment when he was, he let his eyes show it.

In spite of her resolution NOT to look at her father, Rynia felt her eyes drifting that way almost involuntarily. Anxious as she was, it was not at all a shock that once she saw the cold disapointment in his gaze she lost her focus, flapping haphazardly for a moment more before collapsing a bit awkwardly (and painfully) into a heap on the ground. For a moment a brief flicker of pain crossed her face, but then she was looking down, unwilling to so much as galnce at her father after falling so very shamefully.
If there was one thing Rynia hated, it was to know that she was a dissapointment. And that seemed to be her greatest skill these days, at least in her parents' eyes.

Entreri snorted and shook his head. it seemed she had lost concetration the minute she looked at him. though it almost surpised him she was able to hold back showing any sigh of pain from the fall except for only a breif moment did he see it when she first fell. " get up and try again. this time try not to lose your focus so easyly." giving a nod to his daughter, he expected her to try again as he figured she would disoby him in anyway and atlest try to keep him from beig irritated or disopointed at her failing at the task he set before her.

Without saying a word, Rynia rose to her feet at her father's orders, a tiny nod of the head her own response to his words. As she once again resumed the proper lift-stance she did her best to avoid showing any traces of pain, but her ankle still hurt a lot where she'd fallen on it. More, in fact, because she was standing on it, but in her mind she 'knew' that showing any weakness in front of her father would make him think she was even more of a failure, and if he already thought she was weak, what would happen to her if he decided she was a failure to top it off? It was a terrifying thought.
So the filly lifted her wings and began to flap once again, doing her best to ignore her ankle and surroundings in the name of taking flight.

Entreri did not want to have foals who where weak and so he pushed they and trained them. it wouldnt due to have weak foals when he himself was oen who would never allow himself to be weak and now he wouldn't allow his own fleash adn blood be weak ether. flexing his wings and ruffling them he wondered if she had hurt herself when she had fell to the ground just moments ago. shakign his mane, he would address the matter once she was done attempting to fly this round and not before hand. as some say no pain no gain when it came to training.

After a few moments of visible effort, Rynia felt the odd sensation of lift once again as first her front, then her back legs rose up off the ground. Contracting her face in focus, she began to flap with even more intensity, lifting, lifting, lifting, until she was almost a foot off the ground. And that's when she, yet again, lost it.
Glancing down to see how high she'd come, Rynia took note of how far away the ground seemed and panicked. Broken was the concentration, uneven were her wing flaps, and down she came. This time, though, pain was much more pronounced as the filly landed on her sore foot with a sharp 'SNAP'. Her expression twisting in pain, Rynia couldn't help but let out a yip of anguish; she'd managed to break her leg.

Entreri was rather pleased at how high she was managing on only the first day. but the minute she lost her concetration and started to fall he made no move as he would allow her to learn from the pain of losing her concetration. upon hearing the snap and seeing the visable pain, even with a yip of anguish. moving over to her, he shook his head slightly. " you need to focus more and not lose it or your going to end up hurt like you are now." completely calm, he contiuned to speak. " now stay still and tell me where you got hurt."
