Yawning, Ladius stretched out her body as she lay out the side of the spring, making a slight contented noise as the stiff muscles shifted and pulled into some semblance of comfort. She'd been dozing on the bank, enjoying a few moments of rest and relaxation that seemed to be a rare concept the last few weeks. So much had been happening...
But for now, she was back in her own little meadow, relaxing by her own little spring. Life wasn't that bad, not at all.

Artemis was actualy taking a lazy flight threw the sky rather than trainning at the moment since he did on occasion liked to enjoy a flight threw the air. he was actualy checkign the land below as he passed threw up above and felt the need to well take a few moments to let his wings relax since he had been at it for a while now just flying. remeberign the spring near by, it didn't take him long to finda landing spot near it so he could walk the rest of the way there. landing in his grceful way on the ground, he carefully made his way threw the trees and to the spring, and didn't particualy care to keep quiet though his steps where still light of that of a fighter.

One ear twitched. Footfalls, approaching the spring; not heavy footfalls, but not restrained either. From the sound of it, Ladius was guessing either a small stallion or heavy mare walking normally, or else a large stallion walking carefully. Whichever it was, she was in no hurry to see who it was; after all, this was her relaxation time.
Consequently, she remained stretched out by the spring's side, but her eyes and ears were both focused on the sound and direction it was coming from. If the source of the sound turned out to be a threat, she'd be able to react soon enough.

Entreri was in no hurry to get the the spring so it was a few before he broke threw the tree line and into few and looked about. and to his amusment, he saw Ladius stretched at the side of the spring, beign all relaxed. now that was somethign Entreri would never do and always was on gaurd even if he didn't appear it. " it seems we meet yet again for the third time." flexing his wings to work kinks out as he approced the water, he actualy wouldn't mind a good swim though it caused his cape to become heavy when wet.

Somehow, she wasn't that surprised to see that the new arrival was the alicorn stallion. Granted, Ladius never put much stock in random meetings, nor did she have even a passing 'premonition sense', but all things considered, it made sense. But seeing that it was Entreri, she stayed as she was, not even bothering to rise or give any physical sign of recognition beyond her eyes, which were intent and focused on the stallion. But her voice was mild, just as his was.
"Indeed, it seems we can't seem to avoid each other any more, doesn't it? Looks like you've been keeping busy, at any rate."
This last was a simple enough remark; a few weeks had passed since the last time she'd seen him, but he looked the same as before, right down to the banal look on his face.

" oh im sure we could avoid each other if we wanted or atlest i know i could avoid you. as for keepign busey, i always do." he wasn't really surprised at all by her responce, or even that he ran into her again. if he hadn;t problably he would have gone lookign for her since she did have to repay him and he wouldn't let her get away with out doing so. taking a drink now, he still had his attention on ladius even though he wasn't facing her.

"True enough, given the fact that this place is my home and it would be a simple enough thing for you to avoid passing through. But it seemed an appropriately banal statement of greeting, so there you go."
Languidly, she kept her eyes on the stallion as he walked up to the spring on the side opposite her own and bent to drink. He was a strange one, this Artemis Entreri, and she'd never fallen into the trap of drawing conclusions or guessing motives. Things came at face value, and right now that face value was that he was getting a drink. But that didn't mean she couldn't ask.
"So, doing another training exercise in the area?"

he didn't respond til he was dane with his drink and lifted his head when he was done. " true enough. and actualy no, i was merly by while i was flying about the area and wanted a drink and a possible swim to unstiffen my wing joints." flexing his wings away they really where stiff from the 'joy' flight he had taken about the area. after flexign them he returned them to his side with the minor annoyance of stiffness still there.

"Well, that's what the thing's there for. Knock yourself out, Artemis Entreri." Not like she was possessive of her spring, after all. If she was, she'd have to spend almost every waking moment trying to keep every other creature from it. Talk about your dull lives. And yet there were those willing to devote their lives to protecting a place.
However, watching another swim sounded hardly exciting. Flicking one ear in a bored fashion, Ladius turned her head slightly so that it was resting against her foreleg, then closed her eyes once again. Energy was a valueable thing, after all.

" i think i shall." it really was bother some to try to swim with a cape and even more so to get it back on but he rather deal with getign it back on than swim with it and so he took a few steps away from the water and slipped the cloak off that wrapped around his neck and drapped across his back. once off he tossed his mane and walked into the water leaving his cloak behind but keeping the stuff wrapped around his legs on. " so are you planning to just lay there all day?" he commented to her since she didn't even really move at all except to now have her head rest ajest her forleg and figured to strick a conversation while swimming. wings floating as he now was deep in the water, he left himself float for the moment.

Ladius had resumed her lethargic state of half-dozing, but that didn't mean that she couldn't carry on a conversation. At Entreri's question, she rolled over so that she was facing the water, but otherwise remained relaxed. "And what if I am? I know that many Soquilis swear by lethargy, perhaps I'm just giving it a shot myself."
Not that that was true, of course. She actually hadn't been lying around long, only long enough to fully dry her coat out after taking her own swim earlier in the day. However, ever since she'd agreed to teach her new disciple about fighting, privacy had been harder to get. Amoena wasn't obtrusive, but it still wasn't the same as being totally free. The girl had gone home for a visit, though, so Ladius had a bit more peace today. Or had.

" yes but those who do become weak and lazy. and i personaly don't care to lay about." he had been idle enough floating about, and letign his wings soak in the water and so he then actualy started to swim about. never did he like to stay idle for long as he was one of action, not one to sit around adn be lazy. if he wasn't training, he was constantly moving unless he needed rest. there wasn't any who ever asked for him to teach and probaly would not teach them a thing at all though he used Rahu as a sparing partner from time totime since there was only so much you could do on your own.

"True enough, and I'd never waste a day like this lazing around anyway. I just happened to spend the night out in the woods doing a bit of training, and it cut into my sleep. These days I have to grab it when I can, it seems."
Inert as the rest of her body was, Ladius' eyes were sharp and belied the seemingly relaxed state she was in. But she wouldnt' sleep in the presence of another regardless, so her words were moot at this point. She was going to enjoy her relaxation as long as she could, though; she could relax and talk, after all. And see about sleep later.

" training with lack of sleep does no good in its self it just weaks you when your trying to get strong. and you are right it would be a waste to not train during such good weather but also i take advantage or it to take flights." Entreri only did a few laps before he got tired of beign in the water. after finishing another lap, he got out of the water near his cloak, he didn't shake off the water but only ruffled his wings to get the water off them and made sure not to get his cloak wet or he would also have to wait for that to die also.

As Entreri pulled himself out of the water, Ladius took advantage of the chance to see what he looked like without the enshrouding fabric. Unsurprisingly, the shoulders and chest she saw were heavily muscled, just as one would expect from a fighter. Or at least, one that was a stallion. While well-muscled herself, she'd never been able to attain the intimidation factor that came with beefy muscles, since even the most ardent training had kept her trim.
Oh well. Kicking a** with this look was just as satisfying, if not moreso.
