As the day unfoldes so did the white kissed wings upon the little winged's back dressed in a deep blue. She laughed a little in spite of herself just zigzagging in the clouds, as a stray leaf brushed her shoulder. Rocking back and forth she hummed to herself playfully wondering if this was the kind of entertainment little Shaylee participated in.

Skidding in the air she maneuvered downward toward the ground feeling the wind rock her gently letting her mane and tail tail outward like a kite caught in the breeze. Dipping her long blue apendages painted of the sea, she stepped lightly into her decent landing with a wave of her body in perfect motion. She noted to herself though that Saissis could be water standing upon the ground at how fluidly she moved in any way, shape, or form.

"My my my..." Like a streak of red slicing its way through the surrounding clouds, Guilian flew gracefully through the air, his vibrantly red body sticking out like a sore thumb amongst the white and blue of his surroundings. Had he evn been paying attention to such things, though, it's doubtful that the stallion would have minded; after all, the best way to be noticed is to stand out a bit, right?

However, at the moment he couldn't care less about blending in, sticking out, or anything to do with his surrounding at all; instead, he attention was totally fixated on the vision in blue down below him.

His black eyes narrowed slightly, taking in the entirety of the mare with a much practiced eye; shimmering two-tone hair, brilliantly plumed wings, a body of a blue so deep one could no doubt spend hours trying to pull their gaze away...she was truly a vision.

But unlike visions, she was tangible. Or so he hoped.

Smiling, the cardianl Soquili narrowed his wings and dove down through the clouds, alightly neatly a few feet away from the mare. "Lovely landing, Chica; I'd give it at least a 9."

day was indeed a gorgeous painting brought to life contrasting the swept over blue of the mare's coat. She smiled flicking her tail back and forth letting the the soft tresses catch upon the breeze idling by. His voice though made her ears perk turning her head rather swiftly with an elegant swish of her neck.

Sunset. That's what he reminded her of as the sun sets upon the horizon how deeply in crimson the sky did turn. Wings of crimson along with touches of black with velvet ebony roses lined in his own mane and flow ing tail. Compared to her darkened blue form he was stunning and quite handsome in her own pooled orbs of amethyst.

"A 9? Hmm surely I should practice more to be flawless then" she smiled nodding toward him, " Whom do I give the honor of such evaluation may I ask?" she nodded with a toss of her mane giving her silken tail another swish like the stream nearby.

Flicking an ear to adjust the rose tucked into his mane, Guilian gave the mare a charming smile, bowin slightly in return to her nod. "I would have given it a 10 were it not for the fact that I missed the descent; but perhaps next time I won't be so unfortunate."

But at the moment, he definitely couldn't consider himself unfortunate; how could he possibly be unfortunate when he was conversing with such a vision of loveliness? Close as he was now, he found himself gazing into the deep blue of her coat, thinking to himself how very much he'd like to spend a few hours simply gazing at her and getting to know each shine and feather intimately....

However, he was ultimately a gentleman (in his own definition), and a gentleman always behaved impeccably when making the acquaintance of a lady. And this...was definitely a lady. "My name would be Guilian, Chica; and what name does this charming visionage I'm addressing go by?"

Taking a few steps forward, he bowed low to the ground immeadiately in front of the mare, the action knocking a flower from his hair. With the grace of much practice, he snagged the rose in his teeth as it fell, offering it to the mare with a smile.

How the day did seem brighter the blue mare tipped in white pondered. Being one of her first meetings outside the herd she felt a little out of place but decided to do her best as her mother would instruct as she grew. How any stallion would love to simply gaze at the swirling blues in her coat like water swaying back and forth. The thought sort of made her blush feeling she wasn't that special.

"Nitika." she responded with a nod of her head, "It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintence."

She couldn't help but melt into that red sheen that pulled her toward it like gravity draws things. The contrast of crimson and ebony were so contrasting she felt out of sorts being a deep blue with contrasting white from her wings like her father.

The rose was so beautiful she lowered her head so he could place it in her forelock where it would sit quite nicely. The shimmering of purple and teal made her tresses appear silken and well kept. If one such as herself didn't feel special, then why were her cheeks burning firery crimson just now.

Smiling in a charming fashion, Guilian tucked the rose gently into Nitika's forelock, artfully allowing his muzzle to delicately stroke he slightly flushed face as he did so. She was so delicate, this Nitika...sweet and delicate like a pale violet spreading forth its petals on a fresh spring morning. It was a delightful thing just to watch her, to see the rosy hue taken on by her cheeks in response to...well, he wasn't sure that he could hit a specific just yet, so he'd just say by him. Though he didn't like to make generalizations so early on, he was getting the distinct impression that she wasn't used to getting male attention...

Which was a truly remarkable thing, in Guilian's mind; she was such an exquisite bloom of female beauty that it seemed that any male in his right mind would have already tried his hoof at picking her.

Or maybe he was just the first stallion to come along, an idea that appealed to the cardinal soquili on many levels. Her reactions were so delightful...he already hated the idea of some other stallion being the receipiant of that cute blush.

"Nitika...a charming name for a charming mare. But I assure you, it's far more than a mere pleasure to meet you." Giving her the full intensity of a smouldering stare, he tossed his head back and took a deliberate step back, gallantly giving her some space after placing the rose. "I was thnking that I would be stuck spending this lovely morning alone...and then I came across you. Truly fortuituous, no?"

The little mare standing there felt so odd to recieve such attention as this display he poured over her like sweet honey. Her heart pounded as her withers shivered with such curiousity. But, she knew better for her mother had warned her of stallions whom would pour their hearts out for one of beauty as herself. Still the attention was something she craved being shy and secluded growing into adulthood. It was actually refreshing to meet one so open and full of compliment toward herself.

His words could of been set in an evening of stardust and shooting stars she pondered to herself.

"More than a pleasure? Surely you don't think me to be royalty or a Goddess." she smiled stifling a giggle that was dying to cfome outward like a little tornado pushing to be free. No. She was holding her emotions so she wasn't naive as a certain flutter she'd lived around. She wondered for a moment is all stallions would ask her the same things, or follow suit the same way.

Eyes boring into her soul making her feel as if her flesh had been peeled back. Intensity making her shiver and smile all the while more.

"I see a beautiful day before the storm hits come December. Celendria has told the herd that is comingh quite rapidly. How can something so l;ovely be so dull compared to myself?" she smiled modestly still watching him with those shining pools.

"Being royal or godlike is all a state of mind, Chica" And that was certainly the truth in his case; Guilian had always thought himself to be somewhat godlike. But come on, how could he really be anything but? Otherwise there was no explanation for his dazzling good looks, his limitless charm, his way with mares.

Well, it was possible that he was only extraordinarily gifted.

Smiling at her slight quivering, Guilian mentally swooned over the overpowering innocence of his companion. She was such a sweet little thing; he just wanted to take her in hoof and experience that sweetness on a wholy different level...

Of course, sometimes you moved swiftly in that direction, and sometimes you didn't. Regardless of the end results, for now he was more than happy to converse with Nitika, entranced as he was by every nuance of her being. Ah, love was such a foolish thing, the way it toyed with the heart and wounded the spirit; but then, being without it would be a great deal worse.

As Nitika commented on the beauty of the day, Guilian made a show of looking around; it was true that it was a lovely day, but how could he in conscience think of such things when there was such a charming mare around? Maybe if he were alone, he would be contemplating the beauty of nature...well, he could argue that he was doing that anyway!

"Well, if your Celendria is right, then I suppose we should brace for winter. But snow is also a lovely sight, in my humble opinion; the brightness of the Soquili stands out magnificantly against a world of white. But indeed, the cold that accompanies the snow is a less pleasant thing; which is why we must take steps to enjoy the warmth we're experiencing now!" Laughing, Guilian waved a wing in amusement at her last question. "I don't know if I would call it 'dull' in comparision to you, Chica...but it's the backdrop, while you are the subject. No matter how charming the backdrop, the eyes always goes straight to the subject."

Charming. So very charming she couldn't help but hang on each of his words as the opossoms cling to the branches in hopes they don't loose balance or guidance. She pondered on the fact of her father a moment thinking ho w he was so quiet and laidback. While this splendid creature was the complete opposite so full of life and poetry.

She had stepped into a realm of dreams her heart told her.

"I'm told my homeland was magical where my mother had grown up. Where waterfalls cascade into crystal clear pools of water so different from here. Grasses emerald and long that one could loose themselves in its very depths. I've dreamed of where my heritage lies partly. Though mayhaps I'll never see it, it's still nice to dream about."

Her eyes blinked when she'd realized her personality had slipped into a p ensive state like Star Catcher most days. She blashed shaking her head, knowing she had simply rambled inner thoughts to a complete stranger as she'd done just now.

"Ohh hee hee .. I'm spacing out again aren't I? Hmm maybe its just because you're like poetry in motion and remind me of things I reach toward in my hopes and dreams. Guess it flows in my family of dreamers and beautiful things."

((Gah, Nitika is such a sweetheart! *jsut wants to hug her* 4laugh ))

Some Soquilis had the bad habit of zoning out whenever the topic of conversation was foreign to them, but Guilian had never been one of that type; for him, meandering conversations were an excellant way to learn what mace his partners tick, what things appealed to them, what things are important to them. Consequently, he listened with intense focus as Nitika described her homeland...and truly, that wasn't a hard thing to listen to. The intensity of color and motion, the potential of magic, the wistfulness with which the blue mare described this land of hers made it seem almost like a dreamworld; a perfect place where whatever one wanted came true. And really, what was bad about that?

"It sounds like a beautiful place, Chica, and I can completely understand why you would wish to go back there. Who wouldn't wish to be in a land of such beauty where dreams so decisively come true?" Maybe he was paraphraising a bit there, but that was how he had heard the details. Perhaps a bit of his own brand of wishful thinking had helped there, but who knew?

Still, she had an infectioius wistfulness, this Nitika; he could do with seeing such a place himself! But her magical homeland wasn't all that was pleasing to the ears... "Once again, you have managed to compliment me beyond all sense, Chica. Your description of your homeland sounds so charming, so picturesque; I fail to see how one such as myself who couldn't possibly be described as soothing or mystical could trigger such meanderings of thought, but the sentiment is truly touching."

And he indeed meant it; Guilian never imagined himself to be anything other then magnificant, but it was boldly magnificant. After all, both in appearance and personality he was dramatic and bold, sticking out like a sore thumb in most environs and symbolizing passion, not peace...though he could easily see Nitika as being the latter. "You, on the other hand, strike me as much more of the lyrical type. Your gentleness, your delicacy, your very being is to me like a sonnet, entrancing the mind and the senses without seeming to even try."
PostPosted: Mon Dec 04, 2006 9:47 pm

((She's my daughter what can I say?))

She still flushed a little realizing she had rambled but yet he paid it no mind. Which in her favor was some thing of a godssend for this handsome red beast not thinking she was the average airhead with nothing but childish thoughts. One coming to mind was the sugarplum flutter Shaylee, whom could grow a thousand years of age and still act like a foal fresh from her protective womb of a basket.

Nitika thought herself to carry that childish youth yet her strides and thoughts flowed like a silver lined ocean. Naturally curious about everything around her she'd ask a ton of queries just to settle her thoughts and ponderings. This particular stallion was causing her to zip into overdrive asking anything she could. But, naturally her smooth water-like personality and blood of her mother never made her appear ambitious and annoying.

"Dreaming is what makes us grow. I remember my mother saying that when I was very young. So you saying I'm a sonnet is like a walking dream right?" she winked with a swish of her long tail. She wouldn't lie to herself that this red wonder facinated her. Most stallions show ed interest in mares but hardly ever took the time to comment much less praise a girl's dreams and visons. "You're like a winged sonnet to myself, for your words are poerty and praise as if the elements spoke them. How did you get to be so lyrical? Or is it you were blessed with such a gift?" she smiled watching him lying gaze upon the dark ebony roses contrasting the crimson scarlet red hues dancing on his glossy shiny coat.

((True; I find myself wanting to snug you frequently, after all!))

Guilian couldn't help the smug smile that played on his lips as Nitika complimented him; one thing he had always possessed as a weakness was an extraordinary suceptibility to flattery. Perhaps that was what had made him so fond of utilizing it himself; who knew?

Still, this little meeting was turning out to be prductive in more ways than simple flattery-garnering. "I won't deny that you aren't like something from a dream, Chica; the sort of dream that one never wants to wake up from." As he spoke, his gaze wandered to her long multi-colored tail as she flicked it, the motion attracting his attention and the shimmer of the tail holding it. At the same time, he thought how very silky it looked, and how very sensual it would be to feel that tail gently brushing against a thigh...

Focus, Guilian; you are once again letting your desires cut in front of you manners. Remember that this is a lady, old boy, and act accordingly!

Abruptly yanking his gaze from her tail, he returned his attention to her face, smiling as he once again took not of the black rose, his black rose, nestled in her forelock. It suited her, oddly enough, though it's deep color seemed at odds with her soothing appearance. But then, even the calmest beauties could do with a touch of excitement and passion, even in as simple a form as a rose. "Your words are every bit as lyrical as my own, Chica; you seem to have a knack for complimenting me. To answer your question, though, I can't say I know where I picked up my language skills; I've always been like this." No kidding. As a foal he's been very...precocious, to put it mildly. A bit of a shock to the ladies, that was certain!

"Though I can't say I would call it a gift, perse...unless it's one with conditions attached." Stepping towards Nitika, Guilian stopped when his muzzle was mere inches away from hers, his black eyes locked intensely on hers. As he spoke, he extended one wing to gently stroke the mare's face, starting next to eye and moving down to caress her chin with the feathers. She was so very charming, this Nitika... "I might be lyrical right now, but that is only because I have you before me, inspiring me. Your dreams, your homeland, your sweetness and intensity of emotion; how could any stallion be anything but moved to poetry?"
PostPosted: Mon Dec 11, 2006 10:51 pm

She felt herself blush from lyrical muses between both. Not even the most sternest mare could make her say she wasn't blushing madly right now. Being brought up in the comfort of your mother's watch left new experiences such as this to litterally make one stumble if they weren't careful.

Petry and pose. Prose and Poetry. Her head swam in a swirling pool right there as his intent gaze stripped her to her very ecsence. So deep and reveiling yet secrative and illusive. Yet he stood there as bold and prominent as any could be. She purely wondered how she could be so breathtakenly beautiful that one such as the most crimson of passionate hearts would take notice to her. Compared to his vibrant glinting coat she felt hers washed out and faded.

She thought for a moment smiling sweetly letting her cheeks fade and muddle till they remainbed that similar blue hue as before.

Clearing her throat she spoke once more sweetly as if in a song, "Now that tales have been spoken on my part... why not tell me yours. Poetry goes hand and hand does it not? A story can not be fulfilled until things are released to let the listener know what it is they yearn to ask."

"Tales, you wish for? Were that I were the type that had tales of interest to tell. I'm sure that a lady with such a charming and fanciful homeland would be bored by the rather uninteresting things that I have to tell, but since you asked so charmingly I shall do my best to tell you what I can...and hopefully you won't fall asleep on me."

Smiling charmingly, Guilian walked a few paces past Nitika, raising his head to the sky and giving the mare a lovely view of his profile and the back of his head as he made a point not to look at her. Eye contact was important, as long as one was careful not to overdo it. Well, he was starting to get the feeling he might be overdoing it, so...

"You talk of your lovely homeland, but I don't really have one. If anything, you could say that I belong to the wind, to the skies; I go whichever way the wind is blowing, in search of lovlieness of all sorts. Perhaps it would be truth to call me a victim of wanderlust..." Or maybe just lust. Who knew?
