Micah's eyes focused on the white snow beneath his feet. Unlike his traveling companion, he adored the snow, and amde it a point to play in it. He had great fun in watching Jean-Claude putter about in a pout like fashion. He had never seen someone like JC pout, so he wasnt sure if thats what he was doing.. But he would bet it was. Looking at teh stallion, he shook his head, and reared about, lifting his mighty brown hooves from the ground..
JC looked at Micah and shook his head in disgust. That lowly stallion would do anything to make him feel inferior. He didnt like snow. That was no big thing. Micah annoyed more that amused him, and he felt he had to just deal, because Esper made them behave. But she wasnt around now. She was out piffering about with the wolf. He looked at Micah, and spoke. "How long will you be doing that?"

Since it was one of those rare sunny winter days, Safi was out making the most of the chance to frolic about and not worry as much about freezing his a** of. Consequently, he had thrown caution to the wind with reckless abandon and was tearing through the snow, nothing but the sound of his own hoofbeats and the crunching of snow.
Or at least, that's what it HAD been. Pasuing almost in mid-stride, he cocked an ear. Was that voices he heard? Tilting his head to one side, he listened harder...then broke into a grin. It WAS voices! Now, where were they coming from?
Glancing about for a little while, he soon settled on the direction the voices were coming from and purposely started off in that direction.

Micah snorted at the stallion. He was sick of the french guy's ego. The guy thought he was this mare-charmer, and really, Micah couldnt see why mares flocked to him.. He was ... well... He could only think og him as an a**.. Not m uch of an insult no, but the thought was just the same.
He cast an angry glare at JC.
"As long as I damn well please, I assure you.."
Jean-Claude cast his own angry look, and shook his head, casting his dark blue eyes to the shadow approaching. He stopped, and cocked his head, allowing a soft smile to touch his lips. But only slight.
"Dont look now, but I think we have ourselves an intruder." He mused, happy to have someone else about.

As he came into view of the source of the voices, Safi found himself blinking in surprise. Stallions? A pair of stallions out walking? Well, that was unexpected. He was used to encountering mares, not stallions, and certainly not plural. Definitely different, but different was good.
As he came into speaking range, Safi gave the two stallions a wide smile and a slight bow of greeting. "Good afternoon to you, gentlemen; lovely day to be out and enjoying the snow, eh? Or at the very least, the sunshine." As he spoke, his eyes flicked from one stallion to the other; the darker one seemed to be enjoying himself, but the pale one looked slightly...put out? "And I do hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Micah gave a nod to the newcomer, allowing himself to be happy that someone had interrupted Jc and his little squabble. Esper would be proud. He gave a small bow, and a smile as a greeting.
"Hello there, and aye, it is a lovely day to be out and about. Nice to meet another stallion at that. How are you this fine day? And you interrupt nothing but fights which should have been stopped long before they were started."
JC looked at the stallion. He was an odd fellow. But Jean didnt care much. He offered his own bow, smiling with his long teeth.. The abnormal teeth in which gave him his identity.
"Bonjour to you, sir."

Bonjour? And what, pray tell, did that mean? Must be some sort of greeting, whatever it specifically meant. Glancing from one to the other, Safi found himself grinning as the dark one explained the situation. Squabbles, eh? Sounded like whenever Indawo was around. "I'm gonna take a wild stab here, but you two are teepeemates, I take it?" Hastening to explain the seemingly random question, he added on. "I know of similar behavior within my own teepee, that's all."
Turning his gaze back to the pale one for a moment, he eyed the seemingly pronounced canine teeth. Strange. But then, he really was a strange one, speaking in weird languages...
Well, weird was good. Grinning, he nodded at the pale one and then looked back at the talkative one. "I myself am doing fabulously; just out enjoying the sunshine. After all, it's cold enough even on days like this; cloudy days just make me sneezy."

Micah smiled. He liked this new guy. He was kind, and funny. His humor was sublte, and he wasnt like JC with his humor being the preying of smaller Soquili's.
"Ah yes. I should tell Anusha to stop bringing home strays. Its starting to get quite crowded. I'd take the wolf over him." He said, mentioning FLit, Espers friend whom he couldnt stand.
Jean smiled. "Ah yes. The newcomer speaks of pleasant weather, yet we stand knee deep in hell itself." He said, mentioning the snow and letting everyone know where he stood on the subject. Snow was abominable, and he hated it.

This was kind of like being a spectator at a tennis match. Hopefully it didn't seem too weird to be looking back and forth like he was...but he always liked to look at the people he was talking to, or that were talking to him...yeah. This would be easier if his conversation partners were standing closer together, but you couldn't have everything!
First, the dark one. "You guys have a largish herd, then? Or at least small living quarters? I can sympathize; our herd has gotten too large for our place of residence, which probably has something to do with the fact that three of my teepeemates are almost never around!" Four, if you counted him. But who counted themself? That made too much sense.
Tilting his head at the pale one, he raised a brow in surprise. "You don't like snow? But how can you live in this region and NOT like snow? It's so rare, and fun! Not to mention it makes everything look a lot prettier than otherwise." ^^

Micah nodded, his face still holding the ghost of the smile. "Yes, we do have small living quarters. But we have three of us, not including the little thing that calls himself a wolf, but acts more of a luxurious cat." He stomped in the snow some more.
JC smiled, and it wasnt entirely friendly, though it was intimidating either. It was his feeling about teh snow. "No, I despise the white stuff. I do, enjoy and have a taste for beautiful things, but we'd get it often where I come from, and it was the most despicable stuff.."

Cat? And what, pray tell, was that? Well, whatever it was it probably wasn't very wolf-like, thus the comparison. "I see; so obviously things can get a little snug. There are six of us in my herd, but as I already mentioned we're mostly transient and not around the teepee that much. Makes things easier."
Grinning, Safi crunched backwards a couple steps through the snow; this looking back and forth was just getting annoying, and if they weren't going to get closer then maybe he'd just have to get farther away.
Still, he was good at multitasking, and even as he was backing up he was listening to the pale stallion. "So basically, you like selective lovlieness? Or would you rather say that you dislike getting your feet cold?"
