it would seem odd to anyone who have even breifly met Entreri to see him laying openly in the sun with his eyes closed. it would appear he was alseep but that wasn't the case. he was mearly relaxing as he allowed the sun to dry his wings nad body after having spent time swimming. if any where to come up to him he would mearly jsut open one eye and shrug them off depeding on who they where or what their intent was with him. giving a grunt, he let his wings stay drooped at his side as they dryed. the only sign that he was alert was the small twitch of an ear at the sould of a bird chriping as it passed by.

"So, taking a breather, eh? Tell me, Entreri, don't you like the challenge posed by lugging around wet wings? I imagine that in their very heaviness they'd be of significant fighting use."
As she strolled up towards the stallion, Ladius' voice was remarkably similar to a drawl, the tone amused by her standards. But then, it WAS a nice afternoon and she'd just had a vigorous run while on her way to meet up with the stallion, consequently she was in a pretty good mood. "Or do you still have that bias against using water to your advantage?"
No 'hellos' or 'good days' here!

Entreri just opened an eye as he knew the voice who didn't even bother with a hello or hi but that was not needed. " wet wings would only be a burden to me in a fight but you just given me a rather nice idea for training." he didn't even bother to get up at the moent but turned his head to face her with both eyes opened. " i would say my opinion still stands about using water. for me its only a burden but i would think any wind would tell you they would prefure to stray from water." rufflign his wings and rising to his hoofs, he tossed his mane nwo that he was at his full heigth.

"Well, those winds are missing out. Underutilizing a potential advantage is ridiculous, honestly, and the pros seem as if they'd more than make up for the cons." As she walked up to the stallion, Ladius' eyes were on his wings, thoughtfully attempting to determine just how much more force the weight of the water would add in combat. After all, feathered wings weren't necessarily that heavy on their own, but they had serious potential as far as soaking up water went; taking one of those across the face would likely be quite the setback.
No matter. This one was of those points where she and Entreri agreed to disagree; from Ladius' own viewpoint it was purely academic anyway, as she had no wings. That didn't mean that she couldn't offer input, however.
But then, she wasn't necessarily here to talk about fighting styles. Glancing from Entreri's wings to his face, Ladius gave the still damp stallion a nod, the first actual 'greeting' of their meeting. "You're looking well, regardless. What training programs have you been embracing?"

" as we both know not all are frighters and train." of course they had their different veiws no matter if there was some simularity in certain veiws. he would rather though keep the advantage of flight then be grounded in a fight because of wet wings. returning the nod, he gave a grunt. " one would be foolish to not keep themselfs in shape. as to the traingin i been doign the same old thign though because of your earlyer imput i think i have come up with something new." he hardly ever went into detail about what exsactly he did as training, though at the moment he was thinkign of his new idea for training.

How typical, Entreri being cryptic. Then again, to reveal too much of one's training process was to invite either theft or countering of such training, which was hardly a positive thing. Ladius hadn't really expected Entreri to be forthcoming as to his methods; as long as she'd known the stallion, she'd known that he tended to be rather brusque when it came to certain topics of conversation.
Not that that was exceptionally troubling. She herself was far from the usual bubbly mare, and as a rule had little tolerance for the sort of Soquili (mare OR stallion) that tended to prattle on indefinitely about nothing. Minutae was all well and good in it's own place...if the one you were talking to was interested.
Oh well.
Shrugging her shoulders, the mare walked past the stallion to take a dink from the water, then glanced back over her shoulder at him. "So, has there been anything of excitement going on for you these days, or are you simply still only preparing for such?"

Entreri liked to keep his training and fighting tecnqioue as much of a secret as possible for the fact he didn't want anyone learning how to counter his style of fighting or even besting him. he himself had little tolerance for most mares or stallions but he did have more tolerance then some that is if he where to gain somethign out of it. watchign her move past to get a drink, he flexed his wings as they where geting stiff. " depends on what you would call excitement. i wouldn't call going through the same routine every day or even running into someone excitment." flicking his tail boredly, he decided to throw the same question back to her to change the sbject of him being asked questions. " so what of you?"
