(You know the rules, no postie unless you are Caj or Duo) Kainen was calm for once, standing in the shadows under a tree grazing, his tail idly swishing side to side. Even as calm as he was, his eyes were scanning, looking for anything he might be able to torment or aggrivate.

 "Huh" Staring down into the pool of water at her feet, Ladius studied her reflection as it stared back up at her. Not too bad, really; though she'd been hoping that the dust wallow she'd been rolling in would have done something to dull the gloss of her coat. It was keeping the rabbits away, and what fun was that? "Well, looks like we'll have to do something about that, won't we?"

Kainen pawed a forehoof... this was getting boring. His head suddenly snapped up, seeing a small brown creature staring at him. His lips pulled back cruely from his teeth as he suddenly charged for the rabbit, which lept off in terror, the large stallion right on its heels.

Ladius was just turning away from the water when first an ear swiveled, then her nose twitched. Footsteps. A rabbit was running...running in panic away from something. Something very large, very heavy...not very light on it's feet... And judging by the smell, that something was a Soquili.
Raising an eyebrow, Ladius paused only long enough to trace the direction of the noise before she was bounding off in that direction; this was her meadow, after all, and she had a right to see who it was that was chasing off her prey!
