Zillah had left her mother again, heh her mother was probally fretting insanely worried about her. SHe loved to make her mother worry. She was the exact opposite to her sweet and kind mother who was also watching her other sister.
There was never anything intresting to do or anyone to meet, she had met only one strong person so far and a rather annoying mare. One that wouldn't stop pestering her.
The dark painted filly snorted and flicked her white tipped tail. This place is boring...

Since coming out of the basket, Antony had learned a lot of things. One, neither himself, his brother nor sister looked like each other, nor did they look exactly like either of their parents. Two, his mother and father seemed to have differing opinions on foal-watching. Three, much as he enjoyed being with his siblings, it was nice to have some time to himself.
Consequently, he'd taken advantage of the chance to slip away and just poke around on his own when his father had taken off and his mother was sulking about it (or rather, snarling about it). It was kinda neat to see what else there was out there...
Which was why the colt was strolling about the meadow near where his 'family' lived, looking about him with bright, interested eyes.

Zillah heard hoofbeats and used her ears to narrow in on the one making the sound. Zillah turned her head and looked around, golden eyes gazed watching. What then walked infront of her was something she had never seen before. It looked partially like a Kalona... and like a normal soquili "Who are you?" she asked.
Zillah had always enjoyed listening to rumours about the Kalona. Everyone said they were evil and dark, Zillah found them facinating while her siblings shivered in fear.
"I'm Zillah" said the dark painted filly.

He hadn't exactly been expecting to meet another Soquili. In fact, he hadn't even known there were other Soquili AROUND, having previously only had interactions with his own family. Consequently, the filly's greeting took him more than a little bit by surprise.
As did the filly herself. Blinking a bit, he realized that she was missing something...
"Im Antony. H'come you haven't got wings??"
Though his own wings were different from his brother, sister, and father's, they matched his mother's and he'd concluded that variety was possible in wings. But lack thereof completely???

"Because I wasn't born with any.” She said with slight distaste. Every soquili didn't have wings he should know that. He was kind of a dumb Kalona.
"So Your names Antony." she repeated then looked at him again. He was missing some of the normal Kalona features like the horns and the tail. "Why arn't you like normal Kalona?" she asked. it was strange and intriguing all at the same time. Maybe he was a half Kalona? Did he have the same strength as the dark breed?
The filly “and besides” she said going back to the previous question “not every soquili has wings.”

Narrowing his eyes a bit, Antony sized up the filly. She was a snippy one, kinda like his sister. Girls must just be snippy in general, if they ALL acted like that.
And she was rude, to boot; asking questions like that when you'd just met someone was RUDE. Papa had said so. Consequently, he stiffened a bit, drawing himself up to his full height (which wasn't much, but still a bit above the filly) before answering in a much more formal tone. "I don' look like a normal kalona cause I'm NOT a kalona, and every other Soquili I've ever seen's HAD wings. 'Cept you."

She narrowed her own yellow eyes. She rolled her eyes "Then what are you?" she rolled her eyes "You are the only one I have seen with wings so far." she retorted. It seemed they had come from different sides of the world. One had only seen thoes with wings and one had only seen thoes whithout.
She gave a slight glare but it softened to intruigue "Were did get you accent from?" Zillah had strangly just noticed it.

"Well, then you must not have looked in the right places. And it's not MY fault I havn' seen any without wings; I've only just seen my family so far, an' we ALL have wings. And I'm me, obviously." Rolling his white eyes, it was Antony's turn to be aggreived. Couldn't she tell that he wasn't a kalona? He was HIMSELF, who had a kalona mother and a wind father and therefore no term of his own. Besides, why'd it even matter?
And what was an accent? Regarding her suspiciously, Antony queried into the matter. "What's a accent?"

"Your voice sounds funny!" she retotred "Thats what it is." she flicked her ears in annoyance. "Well all the ones I have met outside my family, annoying as she was didn't have wings." humpf it didn't matter but she just wanted to know, he was the first colt she had met outside of her family. He was rather bothersome...
"You are boooring..." Zillah gave a mock yawn, after all she wasn't tired. "Besides your probally too whimpy to play my stuff anyway."

She was DEFINITELY a rude filly. Neve whined a lot, but even SHE had better manners than this Zillah. Consequently, he felt no qualms about returning her rudeness with rudeness of his own. "If I talk funny, that's MY business, not yours. And if I'm boring, at least I'm not plain. You look like you fell in the mud." A rather frank appraisal, from one who had been taught to be nice to girls!
"DID you fall in the mud, or do you just look like that normally? And if anyone's wimpy, it's probably you; my Mama would call you a food Soquili." Actually, he didn't know that for SURE, but he DID know his mother had a low opinion of...well, almost everyone. "But I bet you'd taste bad."

"You do talk funny! and it's my business too because you are talking to me!" Zillah narrowed her eyes and let out a dark growl "You clash horribly, your ugly!" she shot back "At least I look like a normal soquili." she said "Perhaps I like my colors ugly boy."
"I could probally beat you up!" she growled "I'm not scared of your momma!"
"Well you wont get the chance to taste me! But I bet you want to" she said her voice on the boarder of a hiss.

Rolling his eyes again, Antony knew now for SURE that she was just a mean Soquili; after all, his colors went together BEAUTIFULLY. He was a very handsome foal, after all, so if she didn't want to admit it, she was just mean. And a stupid one. "You started talking to me FIRST, remember? And you didn't have to. And if you're normal, then I'm GLAD I haven't seen other Soquilis, 'cause normal is ugly and brown like mud."
His mouth was curled in a snarl now, clearly revealing his sharply pointed teeth. "And I wouldn't want eat you even if I was starving. You'd probably taste like mud, and get my insides all dirty besides."
The beating up comment he wouldn't even acknowledge; she might try, but he KNEW he wouldn't get beaten up by a girl. He was tough, like his parents. Besides, he wasn't supposed to fight girls, Papa said so.

"You are ugly" Zillah said becoming more convinced it was true. This was no more than a child's squabble now. "Cause I thought you were intresting, I guess I was wrong pansy colt!" she shot back again. It was becoming a fight a fight between two angry foals.
"Heh" she smirked darkly "You are probally a horrible hunter anyway. You couldn't catch me even if you wanted to. I'm probally to good for you" she grinned unafraid of his sharp teeth.
"I bet your a daddys boy!" she laughed "You always do as daddy says right?" she began to mock the little stallion. She had just guessed with the last comment and hoped she was right.

Not knowing what a pansy even was, Antony was hardly going to take it as an insult on its own. However, he VERY much disliked her tone, and had to fight the temptation to simply kick her in the face. That was what his mother do, probably; that, or simply bite her. A fun prospect, little brat that she was...
But boys DIDN'T pick on girls, no matter how bratty they were. He might have disregarded his father's words about yelling at girls, but he wasn't quite up to crossing the line of physical violence yet. He could just explore somewhere else and leave her to her ugly, bratty, musings.
Narrowing his eyes, his voice was still stiff when he replied. "Actually, I DON'T always do as my Papa says, not that it's any business of yours. And since you're too dumb to just go away on your own, I'll help you out."
And with that, he stalked off. Were his wings actually strong enough to hold his weight he would have flown off, but for now stalking was good.
