History: Homeschooled until 17 then entered the U.S. Naval Academy and OCS. Naval Pilot Officer between 2005 - 2010 then honorably discharged. Taught engineering and mechanics at Azure Valley between 2011 - 2017, then just after-school work (science fair, etc.) while getting his new degree. Married to Caspian Lyons-Gallo as of May 18th, 2017. Unfortunately things did not work out and the divorce was finalized October 2020. (This was caused by inability for IC interaction due to Caspian's player leaving the shop). Student at DCU for English Literature as of Fall 2017 - Spring 2020. HOBBIES
Nautical Themed - A lover of all things to do with water, Michael partakes in water sports and activities whenever possible. He is a strong swimmer, has his own sailboat “Eulalie”, and will quickly agree to anything in dealing with water. If he could, he would happily sail around the world, or live on an island by himself in the middle of the ocean. He is even willing to teach others how to swim or sail if they ask.
Staying Active - Michael likes staying active, whether it is working out or partaking in just about any sport. He has a competitive nature, so if he has a chance to show off his abilities, he will. He enjoys baseball, football, and soccer the most, but if it involves being outdoors, he will happily join in. Built for stamina, Michael is more likely to accept challenges for long races or sporting events than sprints or single chances to win or lose.
Mechanical Engineer - Like his father, Michael has a degree in engineering, which he is passing on by teaching the subject at Azure Valley. He enjoys being able to work on his motorcycle, or any other kind of machine. Being able to pull something apart, inspect it, and put it back together is enjoyable for him. Whine he doesn’t have any kind of license, he knows plenty about plumbing and electrical, and helps out when needed, although he is sure to let someone know if they will be in need of a specialist.
PERSONALITY
Confident - It is easy for Michael to draw people to him with his confident personality. He gives off the air of being an accomplished individual, and he can easily show proof of such accomplishments because he makes sure any goals he sets for himself are short term and tangible. He has a competitive spirit, is resourceful, and has a strong sense of justice and seeks to recreate order within chaotic situations.
Intuitive - Human nature is easy for him to understand, even if he doesn’t always cater to basic human desire for attention and affection. He is observant of people and situations around him and it is easy for him to recall facts due to that observation. Even though he doesn’t often indulge in what people want from him, he is very personable because of that human understanding. And once someone gains his trust, they have his undying loyalty.
Passionate - When Michael finds something that drives him, he takes it on with a fierce passion. Whether it is about his responsibilities as a teacher, or personal goals, or even as a brother, Michael takes it upon himself to follow through any decision until its completion. Michael is focused on his goals and adaptable to situations that come up. His competitive spirit does not let him give up, regardless of how difficult things might seem.
Facetious - Although he is confident, intuitive, and passionate, he also tends to be disillusioned by those around him and human nature in general, making him quite facetious. His sarcasm and harsh, joking nature tends to make him seem in contradiction to his otherwise welcoming personality. Unwilling to get too emotionally involved in anything, he tends to exaggerate his sarcasm to the point of being hurtful at times, even if he doesn’t always mean it. But sometimes he does.
Manipulative - Being able to control his life and situations surrounding it is important to Michael, which means that if he has to manipulate people and situations in order to be in control, then he will do so. His experience and confidence makes him feel superior in many ways to others, and through his manipulation is able to hide any ulterior motives he may have. He does not think he is a bad guy, but often leads others to believe that he is if only to keep himself from getting emotionally involved and hurt.
Unyielding - Above all things, Michael fears failure. He fears not being strong enough to protect those he cares about, about not succeeding in goals he sets for himself, and about letting people down. His flexibility allows him to seem as though he brushes off failures and is able to easily move on, but it deeply affects him. This makes him into something of a hard-a**, unwilling to relent in achieving his goals. He is untrusting of others, knowing that many are like himself in the fact that they hide their feelings and motivations, but once his trust is gained, his loyalty never wavers.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Michael inherited his father’s azure blue eyes. Hair: He has dark auburn/mahogany hair, and being in the Navy got him into the habit of keeping his hair short and being clean shaven. After years of this mentality, he has slowly started letting his hair grow out, and is no longer overly concerned about shaving. Face: Mature, straight nose, and strong jaw. When he does smile, it's quite charming, but it is usually forced or put on for show, and rarely reaches his eyes. Physique: 6’2” and nicely muscled. Michael has an athletic frame, though nothing too difficult to upkeep. His skin is olive toned and naturally tanned from all the time he spends outdoors. Clothes: His mother taught him to dress nice, as well as being in the military, and is used to wearing button-ups and slacks for work. Outside work he typically wears tee-shirts and jeans.

Powered Bond:
Sessrumnir is bonded to Alastor and can travel to his world without being accompanied.

A thousand years ago before the fall of the Silver Millenium, Alastor and Sessrumnir were married and deeply devoted to each other. Tragedy struck and although Sessrumnir died, Alastor lived on. A thousand years passed and he found the man Sessrumnir’s starseed had been reborn into. Over a year and various trials, the two got to know each other and fell in love and were married. They’ve already pledged themselves to each other in one way, so being able to access each others’ world/wonder would be only natural. They will find the tokens while cleaning up some of Percy’s (the previous Sessrumnir’s) things.
Weapon:
Page: Storm Glass. A glass vial of clear liquid with a dark silver/pewter top and bottom. Hangs on a chain or thin metal rod, like holding a lantern.
Squire: Decorated Storm Glass Magic pool of 40 seconds. To activate the magic of his weapon, Sessrumnir must 'capture' someone within the storm glass. In other words, he has to be either far enough away from them to hold the glass up and see them through it. OR he can hold the glass closer to his face so he can see them inside from head to toe.
Once 'inside' (only Sessrumnir, or someone standing next to him, sees them inside the glass, but in reality the person is in the same place they were), their vision and hearing is affected by storm-like conditions. Even though there's nothing physically around them, their sight is impaired by fogginess that darkens their surroundings, and their hearing is interrupted by the sound of heavy rain and wind, depending on the storm created.
People around the one 'caught inside' the glass won't be able to see why their companion is suddenly unable to hear or see things properly.

Same as with his Squire stage, to activate the magic of his weapon, Sessrumnir must 'capture' someone within the storm glass.
Once 'inside', not only is their hearing and vision affected by storm-like conditions, but other senses are taken over for about 40 seconds. The person caught inside the glass not only sees and hears a storm around them, but can feel the wind rushing by and rain pouring down on them, even if it's not really there in reality, but only inside the glass. After Sessrumnir focuses on his attack, he can choose to cause a flash of lightning and crash of thunder to happen over the head of whoever is being affected by the attack.
It all happens inside their head, so people around them will have no idea what's going on, save for Sessrumnir and anyone close enough to see the glass with the storm raging inside.
Revised April 24, 2024 Magic pool of 45 seconds. A thunderstorm erupts within twenty feet of Sessrumnir with a fifteen foot radius, and is heaviest around the immediate area where the magic is directed. Those affected by the magic will experience impaired vision and hearing due to the intense rain, wind, and occasional flash of lightning and crash of thunder. Movement is slowed due to the storm conditions, with the rain and wind being strong enough to knock someone off balance. Effects of the vision and hearing impairment can last longer, depending on player desire. While in the magic, targets can be struck by non-lethal lightning strikes capable of causing a sharp burning or stinging sensation at player discretion, but these strikes can cause lasting burns and other physical impairments depending on player desire. Once the magic ends, the area remains wet, but will dry quicker than natural.
Alternate Weapon Form: Dull great sword. Has features of Alastor and Sessrumnir/Jupiter in its design.
Secondary Magic: Great sword gains lethality with sharp edges that lasts for 45 seconds.
Plot: I would like for Sessrumnir to speak at least briefly with it to get some closure for the past life memories he and Alastor share. In the past, Sessrumnir was dedicated to both Sessrumnir and Alastor, in addition to his duties as a Knight to other places where he was needed. He always felt inadequate as a Knight, despite doing his best, because there were many situations that pulled him his Wonder. I would like the Code to reassure him that his past life did everything he was expected to do as a Knight and more. The Code had already “blessed” the bond between Sessrumnir and Alastor, so presenting a weapon that was both designs together would be further proof that it knew that despite Sessrumnir’s heart belonging to Alastor, Alastor had proven it would do anything he could to help Sessrumnir in return.
Howling as though to call upon the very forces of nature, the wolf lets out a gust of wind, capable of knocking an opponent back. Inspiration taken from a "Super Bark" and "Unrelenting Force", but not quite as powerful!
Passive Ability:
As a civilian, Michael has the ability to sense powered auras. (This ability was claimed here.)
Permanent Items:
Metallic Bracelet - An antique bracelet made of some sort of metal. It has the ability to amplify magic usage; this must be plotted with your roleplay partner before use. You must ask for permission to use this item in events/ORPs. When activated, this bracelet allows the wearer to get an extra use out of their strongest magic (up to third stage). They can only recover magic they have ICly earned; a Super Senshi may not get an extra use out of their Eternal magic since they have not unlocked it. Senshi can recover one use of their strongest magic, and Knights may recover up to 45 seconds of their energy pool. Mauvians will recover one extra use of their laser and will not be so exhausted after using it the first time. For Negaverse characters, or characters who do not usually have magic, they will instead gain the ability to fire a concentrated laser from the bracelet while in battle. The bracelet will only have a few shots (no more than five) and the strength of the blast is dependent on the character’s rank: At first stage or lower, the blast feels like a harsh slap, at second stage the blast feels like a harsh kick, and at third stage or higher the blast feels hot enough that it may cause the sensation of burning or stun the opponent if hit. Due to the uniqueness of youma/half youma characters’ abilities and powers, before equipping them with a Metallic bracelet, please PM the mule to work out details.
Red Shoes (Charms) - A pair of ruby heels. There's no place like home, click your heels and concentrate. The user is teleported to a safe location of their choosing and may be used during battle. They cannot teleport to another plain of existence but can teleport themselves to anywhere in that area. It cannot teleport someone from their homeworld to Destiny City, but it can teleport them from a dangerous location on their homeworld to a safe one. It can teleport from a dangerous place in the Rift to a safer place, but it cannot teleport into the Negaverse City, or to Destiny City. This item can be used once per day.

Atticus DeLunne | Ephesus, Knight of the Moon — Adopted son. Elliot helped save Atticus from a horrible situation where he could have been killed. With the help of Solieyu, and later the Code, Atticus had his identity changed and was adopted. Quiet and sometimes timid, Michael is endeared to him, especially when he watches him follow Devyn around.
Caspian Lyons | Eternal Remus — Ex-husband. While Michael did love Caspian, there were too many things in their lives that weren’t compatible. Caspian was young and deserved to travel and see the world and have a dog and children. All of which Michael was limited to accommodating, due to his PTSD from his time in the Navy. Michael still strives not to be controlling, as Caspian accused him of being, and hopes Caspian is enjoying a burden free life.
Chris Gallo | Valhalla, Knight of Jupiter — Younger brother. Married to Paris Gallo.
Devyn DeLunne | Eternal Alastor — Husband, in this life and the last. Michael has never met someone who understands him as much as Devyn. He has always been patient and encouraging, always trying to lift Michael up to see the good in himself. Michael trusts him and his experience, and knows no matter what, he’ll always have his back.
Elliot Reid | Amarynthos, Knight of the Moon — Has known Elliot since he was small. Michael was friends with his parents since they taught together at Azure. He has treated Elliot as though he were his own son and has been proud of the bright, cheerful, kind young man he has grown up to be.
Marissa Reeves | Palatine, Knight of Venus — Paris’s mother and off-and-on casual friend with benefits. At least while Michael wasn’t in a committed relationship. Michael trusts Marissa to talk to him without sugar coating anything, and hates that she can use “I told you so” for multiple things. Despite their age difference (one that Marissa is sure to deny), Michael sees her as an equal and mentor.
Paris Gallo | Princess Ganymede — Sister-in-law, married to Chris. Once upon a time, Michael found it amusing to flirt with her and call her things like Babydoll. That changed as her and Chris’s relationship developed. Michael thinks she is a capable fighter, and he trusts her to know the risks and what they have to do to make a future worth living for.
Peter Gallo | Eternal Oberon — Youngest brother. Probably more mature than both Michael and Chris, despite his age. Became a Senshi very young and was forced to grow up. Even though Peter never admitted it, Michael knew Peter moved in with him not just because it was an easy way for him to get to and from high school, since Michael worked there, but because he could see Michael pulling away and looking for an escape. While Peter no longer lives with Michael, Devyn, and Atticus, they still have a room for him in case he ever wants to come back.

Michael is left handed and left eye dominant.
Born in Virginia Beach, Michael was homeschooled until he was 17 and then entered the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator during the Iraq War / Second Persian Gulf War and reached the rank of Lieutenant, before being honorably discharged. After the incident that resulted in his decision to leave the military, he has been afraid of flying, even as a passenger. He also suffers from PTSD and does not do well in crowds or around loud noises, but thinks therapy is a sham and refuses.
During his time in the Navy, he received: Two Purple Hearts (which is just one official medal and a gold star to signify the second time) A Good Conduct Medal (for three years of "honorable and faithful service" ) which is round in shape and maroon in color An Achievement Medal (for helping with the evacuation of a ship in 2006 while serving along the Persian Coast) which is a square medal with an anchor and stars, green with orange/red stripes in color And a Commendation Medal (from the incident that resulted in his decision to leave), which has an eagle and shield and is hexagonal in shape, and green with white stripes in color.
Michael has always enjoyed poetry and literature in general. He went back to school for a degree in the field of literature in 2017. After which, he returned to Azure Valley to continue his job as an elective teacher for mechanics and engineering, but also poetry.

Sessrumnir the Wonder was a place for scholars, musicians, artists, doctors, scientists, philosophers, and all who wanted to learn and grow their understanding of the universe around them however possible. It had a college, a library, a lighthouse to help those traveling through the storms, and rather famous hot springs baths from healing water that bubbled up from deep within Jupiter’s crust. They traded knowledge and information and works of art, whether it be paintings, maps, or music.
Maps were their specialty, as was glasswork, infused with magic.
Knight Valhalla’s gift to the Surrounding was created at Sessrumnir. A glass orb with swirling gases that mimicked the movement of Jupiter’s visible storms from space.
Ganymede’s personal item, a glass orb that helped her to recall memories and store them there was also made at Sessrumnir.
Those from Sessrumnir were not warriors. They had great minds, but were not trained like their knight’s brother’s Wonder of Valhalla.
Anyone traveling to Sessrumnir would find a safe place to rest, a large selection of books, and plenty of good food. A haven in the chaos for which Jupiter was often misjudged.
PRESENT DAY
Sessrumnir can currently bring +8 guests with him, in addition to the +3 he gets to bring as a Knight. (As of April 2023) Sessrumnir is fluent in the written Jovian language as found at his Wonder. (As of September 2024)

Past Life
PERCY MARTEL
Although short for Percival, he only introduced himself as Percy. Close friends and family called him Perce. He changed his last name to DeLunne after he and Devyn were married. Scholar, inventor, explorer, artist. Was chosen as the next Knight of Sessrumnir at age 14. Birthday on Earth was October 10th. Percy was not incredibly tall, standing at his full height of 5'7", and was dwarfed by the locals on Jupiter. He was relatively thin framed, definitely not built for fighting. He had "storm gray" or blue-gray eyes, and shoulder length auburn/mahogany hair, which he grew out longer as he got older. Percy was left hand and left eye dominant.
PERSONALITY
Compassionate, intuitive, gentle, stubborn. His hobbies included reading, studying maps (land, water, and sky/stars), painting, reading some more, avoiding manual labor, avoiding the sun (after living on Jupiter for so long, it was really easy for him to burn when visiting other places), and maybe reading.
