It's around 7:04 PM in Destiny City, though that's quite a distant consideration right now. You're hardly in the same time zone. Honestly, you're not even sure you're in the same galaxy. The stars above you -- visible through a soap bubble-esque iridescent sheen between you and the vacuum of space -- are in an unfamiliar arrangement even to those with a lot of prior experience traveling beyond the Earth. Having seemingly no control over when you can return to the Earth adds an unpleasant taste to the situation that inspires the rise of suspicion in the air. You're stranded. Your enemy is here. There's no civilians to endanger, an unknown amount of time to kill, and certainly no hospitals nearby. Some may find it a tantalizing opportunity to take out a few problem targets for good. If you're not thinking that, certainly someone else is. Nondescript little noises clatter through the crowd and cause spikes of andrenaline every time. The dimly-lit space is a continuous ripple of darting eyes. Someone could be drawing a weapon, or preparing a spell. Someone could be making a move. It proves to be something benign every time, and none of it breaks into a fight just yet. Instead, there are whispers among people trying to get their bearings and make some sort of plan. A few of you start noticing some shadows darting through the alley. Perhaps a trick of the light; perhaps not. A few of you start hearing noises from directions there are no people visible from. Maybe it's just your nerves. Quote: Welcome to the event opener! PCs are free to join, while NPCs can come in later. You do not need to participate in this RP to count as ICly being present for the event; there's ample space for your character(s) to have broken off from the group shortly after Kurma vanished.

VynVanguard CorporalMOOD: Distressed, but trying to hide it ACTION: Looking around for his allies. Gone, again.
After his last disappearance, Vyn was hoping he would have time to process what happened to him, to settle back into what passed for normal life in Destiny City. There was important work to be done, after all. He didn’t have the time to be constantly whisked away by whatever cosmic forces thought it appropriate to dump him into unfamiliar realms.
So, it was with much distress that he realized he once again found himself not on Earth.
He was missing. For the second time in as many months. (What must the Commodore think of him? Surely as a Corporal, he should have better instincts than this — nevermind that he had absolutely no control over when or where he ended up either time.)
Fortunately, he wasn’t alone.
Unfortunately, the group that accompanied him was… motley. Unlike last time, there wasn’t the immediate danger of gargoyles and giant creatures to keep them occupied. Vyn sensed the tension in the air and didn’t like it one bit. Putting on a brave face, he glanced around, seeking out familiar allies.Quote: Open for interactions, especially with fellow Velencians!

LARIMARCAPTAINMOOD: Irritated ACTION: Pacing in circles CHRYSOCOLLA NEGAVERSE ETERNAL SENSHI OF MOODS
MOOD: Frustrated ACTION: Giving out information on Kurma She would've said something - gone for Kurma, stopped him, something, anything - but he was gone almost as soon as he came, no time for her to make a move. Plenty of the people who were here she didn't know, which Chrysocolla didn't like, either: too many people she didn't understand. Some Velencians, who she'd never talked to anyway; a wide range of Knights and Senshi - almost no Officers, and a few Negaverse Senshi, almost all weaker than her. Damn it. The numbers weren't really in the Negaverse's favor. That meant she'd need to ally, if this lasted any kind of time.
"Before anyone goes anywhere," Chrysocolla said, as loudly as she could without yelling, voice clear as a bell, "you need to know something about him: he doesn't have a starseed. There's nothing. He can't be trusted." Kurma looked human enough, but clearly he was some outside context, and she hated outside contexts.
And she hated remembering how she'd felt when Metallia's gaze had focused on her, all the weight of the world, because she had accidentally let Kurma go.
He wouldn't get away a second time. If she had to break his limbs, break his everything, to keep him from focusing enough to teleport - she'd do what she needed to do.

LourdesVenus SquireMOOD: Pissed off and ready to fight ACTION: Summoning her weapon just in case. Lourdes was not in the mood for whatever foolery the universe or Destiny City had in store for her. She never really was, but especially not now. She'd powered up just off of a miserable date with a man who could not possibly be less interesting if he tried and he had insisted that they split the bill when they were done eating. Split the bill. Lourdes was all for equality, but if there wasn't even and offer to cover dinner then there was a problem. That was the way the script was supposed to go. I'll cover dinner. Oh no, I couldn't ask that, I'll cover. Why not split? it was just... good manners. But no. No such offer. Just an insistence on splitting the bill and a good night handshake in the car by Lourdes' house. And to make matters worse, not only was she now on a strange... planet? Dimension? Place? She was there with one of the pastel traitors. Fantastic. Lourdes still had nightmares about the way chaos had seeped into her body, mind, and soul and threatened to undo everything that she had worked for. But in those nightmares it didn't stop. It took her. Like she watched it take so many others that night. Anger flashed like a flash grenade in her mind, but she kept herself rooted to where she was, summoning her weapon just incase this was another alien trick. And if it was she wouldn't hesitate to baseball bat every pastel mother ******** on this rock right in the face. Sunshine Alouette Feel free to interact or ignore Lourdes

Corrupt Sailor MizukiSenshi of LilacsMOOD: Excited as s**t ACTION: Grinning like a madwoman Oh... oh this was amazing. Granted, she couldn't contact her dads right now, and she didn't seem to be able to well... go anywhere except where she was, but! BUT! She was in space, on some set of ruins, with a whole lot of Order just lingering about also trapped with her - and the rest of the agents and senshi here. Wouldn't it be just divine if she brought home all those pretty little starseeds for her dads?
Mizuki bounced on the balls of her feet, grinning entirely too wide for her facial structure. Oh this was perfect, this was absolutely perfect. (Okay Mizuki, calm down with the emphasis on every second word, be calm, be cool, you can't kill anyone if you're manic.)
She wandered over to Hylonome and drapped an arm over the other corrupt of Prehnite's little garden. "Lookie, lookie Hylo! We could bring so many starseeds home with us!" she said with a smile and giggle. "We can have so much fun!"

YmirDeep Space Senshi of SleetMOOD: Depressed. Resigned. Concerned Surtur might pick a fight. ACTION: Examining their surroundings. Sticking with Surtur. Ymir had no clue where they were, nor who it was that left them there, and if he were to be completely frank, he didn’t care.
The man didn’t have a starseed? Oh well, not Ymir’s problem. That the information came to them by way of someone clearly infected by Chaos made him even less likely to care. Maybe it was a lie. Maybe it was a trick. Maybe this place was an illusion. Maybe he was stuck in some elaborate dream. After so long in stasis, he wasn’t sure he could entirely trust reality.
Except Surtur was here with him this time, and Surtur was still very real.
Surtur was also likely to attack anything that stank of Chaos.
Ymir grabbed Surtur by the arm before he could move an inch.
“Don’t be reckless,” Ymir told him, mumbling low. “We should assess the situation before we start making any hasty decisions.”

ALIEZVanguard CorporalMOOD: Distressed ACTION: Making his way over to Vyn and looking for other allies. Warning Lourdes. “Vyn,” Aliez called, already out of breath. Not because he’d been running, but because he was already incredibly stressed. He had no idea where they were, but there were people there that were likely going to try and hurt them if they did anything to anger them. They’d fought against the Senshi and Knights on that hilltop in order to help the Commodore, so how many of them would take the chance to get rid of them.
There were others. They all looked like they were angry or distressed or confused. But he didn’t care about any of those. He just wanted his fellow Vanguard to be okay.
“Stay away from him,” Aliez warned, his voice stronger than he expected it to be. He didn’t have a weapon, but he had the vambrace on his arm that he would use to protect them if she tried doing anything to hurt him -- or any of the other Velencians.

LucastaWhite Moon MauvianMOOD: Aggravated. ACTION: Observing everything from her vantage point at everyone’s ankles. Lucasta’s tail flicked back and forth as she gazed upon their surroundings with narrowed amber eyes.
She was not alone here, which should have come as some relief, except that her bonded Senshi was not with her. This was not too terribly out of the ordinary — Ganymede had always been rather independent, and frequently unwilling to rely on Mauvian company — but Lucasta did not like to be unaware of her whereabouts. She could only assume, based on Ganymede’s absence, that Ganymede remained on Earth, hopefully safe at home where no one of Chaos leanings could harm her again.
Alas, that did not solve Lucasta’s current predicament.
She shifted uncomfortably, staring through a forest of shins and ankles, hoping to find at least one familiar face among them.Quote: One cranky cat open for interaction!

SAILOR SURTURDeep Space Senshi of DesolationMOOD: Cautious ACTION: Staying near Ymir. Asking Chrysocolla a question about the mysterious person with no starseed. Brought to a mysterious place that no one seemed to be familiar with? Surtur was torn between the excitement of new adventure and caution. He kept his hands raised slightly, not just to show that he was technically unarmed, but so he could access his magic faster if necessary.
He could feel the prickling of Chaos around him. Serpentine eyes glanced from one person to the next, noting those who were dripping with Chaos. It made sense that those were the ones not taking the situation seriously. Hopefully they would make a fatal mistake and end up getting killed.
“I’m never reckless,” he countered Ymir’s concern. Even Ymir’s hand on his arm hadn’t caused him to startle, he was so focused on his surroundings. “I’ve been assessing the situation for the past thousand years. Trust me,” he said as he finally glanced over to the other Senshi with a strained smile that was meant to be calming.
“How do you know they have no starseed?” Surtur called to the woman with the holes in her head and chest. A Corrupted Senshi was what Lucasta called their kind.
Something told him that she was just as untrustworthy as someone without a starseed.

NerynVanguard CadetMOOD: Hesitantly cautious, not feeling great about being kidnapped to space ACTION: Going to stand by Vyn, try to not feel guilty for picking Earth over Velencia A year Neryn had been in Destiny City, had chosen Earth over Velencia. A year had taught them that, in fact, if the solution to their homeworld's woes was there, it would show up. Eventually. Usually with a bang. Neryn hadn't quite done much outside of diving head long into human culture and studies; not for a lack of motivation or need - they still filled their energy quotas and all - but they found they didn't really feel the... want to do so? So they really only went out when called upon by the cosmos.
Like now.
Neryn offhandedly recognized the weird man with the glowing orb from last year's disasterous event, but couldn't place his name or what he even... was. There were also a few senshi that seemed far, far older than others - even older than the Vanguard. It was all very suspect, and Neryn spent a good amount of time just taking notes and logging their surroundings.
After a moment, they spotted Vyn and Aliez - Corporals Vyn Aliez, from the emblem on their chests, and wandered over like a dutiful Vanguard Cadet. Neryn saluted the Corporals before speaking.
"Corporals. Cadet Neryn, reporting. I've been taking notes on the area for the database," they said, before showing their screen where they'd been making notes about the environment and powereds around them. It was... a gamble, talking to these two, since they'd fought against the senshi and knights to help their Commadore, where as Neryn had sort of just... froze up then 'defected'. Then only did the barest minimum of work, while they clearly put in the time and effort for the Vanguard. They didn't know if the two Corporals would try to repremand them, or simply ignore them.
To be honest, Neryn had sort of been avoiding the other Vanguard members out of worry of what they would think. It hadn't really mattered before, but with Neryn having defied orders...
The Cadet swallowed a little and tried to not look as guilty as they felt.

LARIMAR NEGAVERSE CAPTAIN
MOOD: Irritated ACTION: Staring at the VelenciansIf nothing else -- well, those were definitely the pastel space elves that Ashanite had talked about, the first time the two had talked after Larimar had returned. The ones he had said absolutely not to bully or stab, which, fine, it was restrictive but ze'd manage.
They really were pastel, huh. And tall. Larimar was above-average height(-ish), but that felt questionable looking at these folks.CHRYSOCOLLA NEGAVERSE ETERNAL SENSHI OF MOODS
MOOD: Frustrated ACTION: Talking to Sailor Surtur"I checked," Chrysocolla said, turning to look at the man who'd asked, arms folded over her chest, "so I know I'm not wrong. And if you're asking because you don't know how I checked," which, given he was a first-stage Senshi, it was entirely possible he had no idea how the Negaverse worked, "if someone volunteers, I can just show you."Quote: Larimar and Chrysocolla are open for interaction! Pendour Transcendent Knight of Neptune
MOOD: Calm ACTION: Meeting up with Encke and Friends, stargazingIt happened as quickly this time as it had before. One moment, she was poking around in the community garden, looking for any hints of if there might be ways to save her plants. The next, she was somewhere else. The somewhere else didn't seem to be Earth. There was no way they were anywhere close to Destiny City judging by the way that the stars above were glittering brighter than they always did in the city where they had to compete with the streetlights. She couldn't even see the Big Dipper, which was always the easiest to pick out, which made her think that they were somewhere with different stars entirely. The others around her did not seem to be thinking much about the stars. They looked confused, or upset, like they had never been snatched away from their lives by strange magic before. Pendour understood that. The first time it had happened to her, she'd been upset, too. This time, though, she felt like she knew a little more about what she was up against. She'd have to find friends, and shelter, and a way to survive until they could figure out what was keeping them here. Or, more accurately, why the man with no starseed was keeping them here. It wasn't an easy task, but she'd done it before. She could help the others, the ones who were nervous. A flash of purple clothes in the distance caught her eye, and her smile widened as she saw her best friend and his companions. "Encke," she called out, waving as she walked over. "Basi!" She wasn't quite sure who the woman was who was with them, although she looked somehow familiar, but Pendour waved anyway. "Have you seen the stars from up here? They're so beautiful."

AlastorEternal Deep Space Senshi of Despair MOOD: Guarded ACTION:Standing behind Ephesus and Amarynthos with a hand on their shoulders and looking to Sessrumnir for any explanation Eternal Sailor Alastor was used to strange things happening, but the more time he spent on Earth, the more he realized just what an oddity it was. For example, he could probably count the times he’d vanished from the surface of Alastor against his will, in all of his years there, on one hand.
He’d been on Earth for too short of a time period to be racking up a tally already. He’d been out with Sessrumnir, and Amarynthos, and Ephesus, on what was supposed to be a simple practice run. The Moon Pages were still too new to be doing anything dangerous, so as soon as they arrived together on some strange, unfamiliar world, he immediately moved closer to the boys. Alastor was on guard instantly for every reason imaginable.
He didn’t like surprises. He didn’t like strange locations. He didn’t like strangers. Didn’t like being moved against his will. Didn’t like putting people in danger.
There were a lot of people here, and the slick, grimy sensation of Chaos nearby would have put him on edge even if the boys hadn’t been here. Instinctively, he put a hand on either of their shoulders to make sure they stayed together. He didn’t like his back exposed, but Sessrumnir was in front of him. He could watch his back, and he trusted Sessrumnir would return the favor.
…Also, if any one of the four of them knew what was going on, it was probably going to be him.AmarynthosPage of the Moon MOOD: Confused ACTION:Standing next to Ephesus, Alastor is holding their shoulders, talking to Sessrumnir quietly Amarynthos did not have magic. He knew he did not have magic, because Sessrumnir had told him he did not have magic, and yet he’d just been swinging around his little glass mister and now, here they were.
Somewhere that was not Earth, and was not the Moon, but that was the extent of his space travels.
Also, there were a lot of people here, and he was rapidly overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of energy signatures that appeared immediately. Ephesus was next to him so he took his hand immediately, and the hand on his shoulder was–oh, good, it was just Alastor, who looked pretty unhappy, but Sessrumnir was right there too.
He wasn’t keen on the silence, and if he was uneasy he was certain that Ephesus was going to be, too.
Quietly, because he didn’t want to draw attention to himself or be overheard by strangers, he asked Sessrumnir, “Is this normal? What is this?”
And who were all of these people?
More colors than he could recognize, more energy signatures than he could place.
Where were they, and how were they going to get back?

MURIKABUSHI Dark Mirror Senshi of Hunger (Basic)MOOD: Exasperated, petulant, bratty. ACTION: Being huffy and dramatic, then attempting to Exit, Stage Left. ………Well, that hadn’t lasted long.
Finding out that Pendour was alive and had made it out of the rift intact, it seemed, had burned up Reiki’s allotment of Nice Things happening during senshi business. All he’d wanted to do tonight was make his rounds of town, maybe poke at the dead spots some more (the monsters in them really were concerning and if he was going to stick his nose into things in order to relay information about the dead spots back to Ida and Kerberos, then Reiki intended to <******** commit to his choices), then pick up some Oreo sweet crepes for Haruhi to eat before nis shift and head back home. Why had Bullshit Like ******** This decided to happen tonight?
Why did Bullshit Like ******** This apparently need to involve some guy who had no starseed (and therefore no soul whatsoever, if Reiki understood things correctly), and sure as Hell seemed like a ******** Star Trek villain?
Ugh, whatever. It wasn’t even possible to properly appreciate the fact that he was in SPACE!!! LITERAL OUTER SPACE!!! or that there were some very fine-looking specimens of alien men standing around, because: 1. he’d wanted to hold off on space travel to see if Kerberos was actually serious about letting a Chaos rat on his pretty perfect planet with its bioluminescent bunnies; 2. the starseed-less a*****e had made this Thing happen out of nowhere and literally who gave him the right; and 3. not a single damn person was acting like they understood how an away mission works.
“First step,” Murikabushi grumbled, audibly but more to himself than anyone else, “assess the situation.… Readings suggest a complete lack of intelligent life, Captain. Truly fascinating, if horribly illogical…”
Fortunately for him, nobody here was his Mom or Obaasan, which meant he wasn’t obligated to stand around like an idiot and wait to die. Rolling his eyes, Murikabushi huffed off toward the citadel looming over them.Quote: One giraffe in a short skirt and thigh-highs, open for any interactions!

Fae-FaeVanguard CorporalMOOD: Sleepy and confused and anxious sad ACTION: Waking up and joining the other Vanguardians Drawing in a deep breath and blearily stretching her ribcage, Fae-Fae slowly sat up. She had been in the middle of a nap when everyone had been spirited away, and it took a few moments of sleepy blinking for her to realize that this was not the dream world, this was the real world, and they were not in any part of the real world she recognized. Not on Earth, not on Velencya, not in any of the archaeology lessons she had struggled over at school. Her awareness of the situation struggled to spark to life, but when it did, it quickly blazed into a panic. Her gaze darted around unfamiliar surroundings, noted buildings that looked unsettlingly to her like protruding bones, and her mouth went dry as she confirmed the presence of both Order and Chaos in the area. Was another battle about to start? The thought made her gag. The sight of a familiar crop of wheat-colored hair, with a stern face underneath, kept her tunnel vision from collapsing into a pinprick, and, as her field of vision expanded again, she recognized the pastel faces of other fellow Vanguardians gathering. She quickly approached them and drew close, with an expression that silently asked what was going on. The entire right side of her hair was flattened and sticking upward.
