Perhaps the most impressive monument in the Negaverse, the Castle is a foreboding character all in itself. It's like the Chaos of Beryl—of Metallia—lay the foundation, and with each new brick the Chaos hardened. Great doors stand for all who enter, welcomed or otherwise.

The youma seem to know something is amiss; they skitter in the shadows, and up the walls and watch, wary and unseen.

There are Agents inside, behind the closed doors. Moving. Planning.

Inside is the energy signature of at least one General Queen, tending to her business as normal.

But she doesn’t know what's coming. None of them do.

For the first time in a long time, the Negaverse are sheep.

But the opportunity will be lost if you don't strike hard, and fast.

Now is the time for battle—for the bravest to move in, and make a stand. There is now room for cowardice or hesitation. Battle is looming, and there will be death.

Someone will fall tonight.

Quote:
For Order: Push open the doors and enter the Great Hall of the Castle. You will be greeted by Negaverse Agents tending their ordinary business. There is no room to second guess yourself—you must fight, or die.

For Chaos: Your Negaverse Agents can be here! Perhaps they had a meeting with a higher up, or were looking for a file or making a report—you can use any reasoning you want. Characters of any rank—Negaverse Agent, Mauvian or Corrupted Senshi are welcome to engage in battle! Please be mindful of who you choose to enter in this battle—you may only play one personal character from the Negaverse at this point in time. If you have more than one character in the Negaverse, please pick only one! Disposable are welcome! These are Negaverse Agents who must be killed by the end of this event (you will have warning during the final battle, so you will have time to post your character's death!). Please register your disposable in this thread; make sure you read the rules!

Sailor Duhr, Senshi of Tornadoes

This was, by far, probably the greatest of any adventure she'd ever taken in the twenty years she could remember. Approaching the giant castle made every other problem, every other patrol and youma fight pale in comparison. This was the big league - this was the battle to end all battles, taking it to the Bad Guy's home turf.

Gloved hands shoved roughly against the heavy doors, forcing them forward and open as high heels clicked against the stone flooring. It felt cold - or maybe it was just the chill of the evil that surrounded them. Either way, she could feel goosebumps swelling up on her exposed skin, the senshi fighting the urge to rub against her bare arms.

Shadows flickered and darted in the corners of her eye, but she remained focus, walking forward until that inevitable moment where she would meet the first of what she could only assume would be an entire legion of Negafellas.

This was the perfect time to say something cool. It was her opportunity to shine, to finally be The Witty One. She was going to think of something badass to say - something clever, something that would strike fear and terror into the hearts of all the Lieutenants and monsters and Metallicas and whatever else was lurking within this monstrosity.

Raising her voice, she let out a bellow that echoed through the hallways.

"Come out, come out, wherever y'all are!"

....Well, close enough.

Prince Castor

He'd left them, then returned. Though he doubted they would understand his reasons as to why. He didn't have time to care, nor did he have much time to spend doubting. There would be a time to question and a time to tend to moralities. Those who would fight would have to face their own demons soon enough, and he would not coddle them or their stupid ideal.

This was war, and these would be nothing left unharmed. There were no innocents on the battlefield. Just casualties. Just unfortunate obstacles. Mercy was not an option. Purification was not an option. Blood and death.

Castor was a world raise to follow the path of war. There was only glory to be found in battle.

The ice formed against his skin, not cold to him but a comforting insulation. A shield of his own soul, a manifestation of what he was. A warrior. Nothing more. A senshi- a soldier, designed to kill. As the doors opened, Castor did not walk, Castor stood at the opening, looking in for a moment before he felt himself move of his own accord, before he let himself fall away and give into the instinct of battle.

"CASTOR TIARA MAGIC!" The glowing disk of white cut into the castle's inhabitants, slicing through a youma that barely had time to react.

It exploded in a shower of dust and he smiled as his tiara returned to his hand.
"I have waited years for this."

General Aurostbite

He had not felt anything.

Where there should have been a warning, a signature, something, there was nothing. Where there should have been some sort of protection, there was a horrible, invasive intrusion instead. Footsteps and voices were in the castle now, unfamiliar.

Wrong.

White hot fury laced through Aurostibite's veins as he stepped out into the hallway, the dual bladed tonfas already summoned and gripped in his gloved hands. He saw one of them, two of them - possibly more, and for a moment Aurostibite saw nothing but red.

The calm and collected countenance was slipping. He felt loathing in his veins, a heady rush of adrenaline flooding through him, and Aurostibite's upper lip draw back in what was almost a feral snarl, his eyes flashing dangerously.

He wasted no time.

There was a ripple of dark hair and Aurostibite was reaching for his newest Lieutenant, unceremoniously shoving him into position beside him. On his other side, Behellagh gave a screech of irritation, the monsterish peacock snapping its jaws.

"This is our home!" Aurostibite hissed, and he had called for Bloodstone as well. "They have no right to be here."

Super Sailor Thrymr, Senshi of the Southern Lights

It felt...strange being here. Thrymr felt his heart beating rapidly in his chest as he mounted the steps up into the castle. He'd gone on a little ahead of Mont Blonc, Aegir, and Ash, though they were just behind him, and every now and then, he'd look over his shoulder at them.

The castle was large and imposing. Thrymr did not want to go inside, but there was little choice; they'd made their decision, after all, and now they had to go through with it, regardless of what happened. He had to keep moving forward.

They all did.

Inside, it was even worse. The Chaos felt stifling, almost, thick and oppressive, and Thrymr swallowed hard as he looked around. There were a great many signatures clustered within the walls; almost too many, including one more powerful than Thrymr had ever felt before.

I can do this.

I am strong.

Sailor Remus, Senshi of Regolith

"Well, this all sucks," said Remus.

It was probably the understatement of the century, but at least he was feeling relatively good about things still. Maybe he should have been taking it all a little more seriously than he actually was - but what good was a fight when everyone was too serious about it? And besides; getting too worked up almost universally resulted in making mistakes and being sloppy.

(Maybe that would happen to some of these Nega dudes. Remus certainly hoped so.)

"Well, ladies," said Remus grandly, coming up beside Duhr and hoping Inari had followed. "Shall we find ourselves some orcs to dispose of so we can get to our princess?"

General Benitoite - In the castle working.

He should have been home sleeping, or patrolling, and he would have preferred either option but he had some paperwork to get done. He couldn't leave it till tomorrow, he had work and school before that, so he was working on it now in the hopes of getting it done within the hour. It wasn't a lot of work, thankfully, just tedious work and thus annoying and frustrating and all those things which made a person want to burn things - like the cause for said feelings.

It was a typical evening actually, at least when one took into account where they were. Watching a youma slither on by and out of the room he was in, it was a tiny little room with a desk, a large chair that he couldn't be seen in from behind as it swallowed him whole with ease. It was something he'd brought here himself in order to make working down here more comfortable. He figured if he was going to be down here for hours he needed to be comfortable, how else could he get his work done?

Setting his pen down he sat back in his chair. His fingers came up to rub at his temples, a small breath of air passing his lips. He would be done soon, or so he hoped, and than he was going home and taking a hot shower...he'd see what he did from there. He might go and do a quick patrol, see if any newer members were out and about. If not that than perhaps make contact with one of his order aligned contacts and see if they had any information on just who the hell organized that kidnapping, he still wanted answers on that. That was what the paper work pertained to and he had some, in another file, which he couldn't even do without more information - which he didn't posses.

As a youma came into the room he glanced at it, a smile tugging at his lips. One gloved hand reached out to pet the large beasts head as it leaned into his hand much like a dog would. "Such a good youma." The words were gently spoken as one might speak to a much beloved pet. As long, pointed, ears set atop it's head flopped into it's too large face he felt a laugh bubble up - it was an amusing sight really.

(Figure he's on an upper floor. Feel free for other officers to interact with him.)
PostPosted: Fri Feb 12, 2016 11:40 pm

Aegir, Super of Silence - inside the castle (feel free to interact!)

His gathered team - part of the greater whole - went towards the Castle rapidly, coming up behind other clusters and groups already stepping inside. There were two Royals, the knight that had been offering information before, and a whole passel of others he only knew by face. That was fine, there wasn't time now to work out tactics - no further than they'd briefly discussed before stepping through Caedus' portal anyway - and he was busy pushing himself to keep tract of Thyrmr. Monty, and Ash..nevermind anyone else.

Thyrmr had gone ahead a few steps, with Aegir following closely, Ash half a step behind him and Mont Blonc slightly behind her. Once inside the castle, another wave of awful hit them, setting Aegir's stomach roiling unpleasantly once more. It's awful here, Jesus. "Keep your eyes and ears open, they're going to come for us hard and heavy!"

Past feathery wings and some ways from where he and his small group currently moved, Aegir saw a familiar face - Aurostbite, he was pretty sure, though his expression was contorted with rage. There were also youma that would need attention and <******** everything, the officers there would start calling for reinforcements - if they got past the entry hall, he'd be surprised. Already it was filling with Order and Chaos alike.

Captain Sanidine

Sanidine was no Negaverse expert, but he was pretty sure there wasn't supposed to be a wave of Order folk bursting in through the front gates. He stood, almost disbelieving for a moment, before his face twisted into a scowl.

In reality, he should have sucked up the energy it would have taken and teleported out. He was still sore and fairly roughed up from being kidnapped. Hell, he wasn't even supposed to be out today. He'd been under strict orders for bedrest, but his anger wouldn’t let him just sit around and do nothing.

The only reason he was here tonight was to try and dig up information on every Senshi and Knight he recognized from his time held captive—so he could pay them back, tenfold.

Of course, that plan seemed to fall apart fairly quickly given that it was probably not going to be a breeze in the park to search the web with some senshi hovering over your shoulder.

Thankfully, Sanidine was not afraid.

He was just angry. And hurting.

Which meant he wanted to make sure others were angry, and hurting.

He summoned his sword and gripped the hilt tightly.

He didn't care about anything but hurting somebody.

Mont Blonc, Squire of Saturn

For Ploutonion. For others trapped like him. For my friends. For Methone. For Ploutonion -

Mont Blonc kept the mantra going in his head again and again and again as he walked at the back of his team, keeping the rear - keeping his eyes out to try and ensure that nothing came up behind them, while at the same time watching the rest of his team intently, because god knew what'd happened the last two times he and Thrymr had been involved together (with not one but two starseeds plucked).

He tried not to recoil from it, the overwhelming chaos of all these agents and creatures in one place, the energy signature of the General Queen making him shudder, remembering all too well what it'd felt like at the two corruptions he'd witnessed. There was a reason to be here. A once in a lifetime chance to do something of significance, something of - he thought of Hver, telling everyone is was suicide, of Aegir, saying much the same -

Too late now, and it would be cowardly to turn back now, especially when he'd been the one to bring them this far. He knew that, and had no intention of giving up - it just made him no less afraid. The squire willed his pen to his hand and tried to steel himself for what was to come, for they were already drawing attention. Bursting through the front door did tend to have that impact.

I'm ready.

I'm not.

I must be.

Lt. Kainite

"Bossman, I really feel it, " Kainite echoed from behind him, pressing a hand to his own chest and barely biting back an impassioned sniffle. If this had been the stage, no doubt, Aurostibite's passion would have completely sold him for the part. He just had to take a moment to appreciate the sheer authority and just, wow, what an amazing guy. It was no wonder he was a general.

Speaking of though, hey. This was totally a chance to show him that he'd totally been right on the money by banking on Kainite. The whole awakening thing had been a little rough, but the influx of power was completely worth it, and just in the nick of time no less! Castles and queens and invaders in... awfully ridiculous outfits, now that he got a good look at some of them. It mattered little. It was a fantasy world come to life, and who to fit better here than Kainite himself?

"What should I do, Bossman?" Because surely Aurostibite had some glorious task he could assign him for this. "Aim for the guy with the tiara? Are we going to ride Behellagh gloriously into the depths of hellish combat? Would you like a refreshing beverage first?"

General Fudgelite (disposable)

"Come out, come out, wherever y'all are!"

"Be careful what you wish for... " a voice boomed from down one of the darkened hallways, low, deeply set, and filled to the brim with pure malice. "Little girl." There were three clustered together as though that helped their odds. Three were nothing. Insignificant specks in their kingdom that had no right even existing in such a place. He did not understand how, or why.

It did not matter. They would not last long.

There was a grind, and then a flash of silver as the general's blade whipped out of the darkness at them.

Sailor Subamara, Senshi of Coffee

From the centre of the group, Subamara couldn’t see much when the doors were pushed open. Not until they moved forward and the wide space opened up before them. Oh. It was an entrance hall. No corridors to hide in, no subtle sneak attack. That they were here at all was all the sneaking they were getting, especially with one of the other senshi calling out to their enemies. It didn’t matter now anyway. They were committed to this.

Before the group could spread out too much, Subamara pushed her way quickly forward from the centre of the party, stopping just behind the front ranks to call down her own supportive power.

“Subamara Coffee Rush!”

There wasn’t a lot of space to gesture, but the magic found room, filling the area with a phantom coffee slick that splashed from her hands in a metre-wide radius at the feet of her allies, granting them caffeine-boosted agility and hearing. The scent of freshly brewed coffee wafted around her, and she breathed deep. Now she could focus. Now she could think.

Between the shoulders of the leading fighters, she could spot only a few Negaverse agents. They’d have back-up soon, but right now Order had the numbers advantage. The quicker they cleared the room, the further in they could get. And there were youma. She knew how to dust youma. It would be okay.

If she was going to do damage, she would need a weapon. For a brief moment, a memory flashed through her head, a metal folding chair that swung joyously around her… But that time she’d died. This time she’d do better.

Her magic cast, Subamara fell back out of the way of the fighters, glancing around as she did for anything that could be thrown or used as a weapon. A rock would be good. Or a fancy vase. It was a castle, there’d be something.

Quote:
Support Magic - Group buff - Subamara Coffee Rush:
Subamara holds out her hands and a stream of coffee pours out, pooling on the ground around her. A strong coffee aroma fills the area. Anyone splashed by or stepping in the coffee feels temporarily more alert and energised - specifically, their hearing and agility are both slightly boosted for the next 30 seconds.

- Effect: Slightly boosted hearing and agility
- Range: Anyone within 1 metre radius of Subamara
- Duration: 30 seconds
- Number of uses: 3 2 left

Sailor Duhr, Senshi of Tornadoes

"Holy c---"

There wasn't enough time to think, there was only time to react. She felt his presence, she felt all of them, but the wicked voice that mocked and taunted her was so close that his aura sent shivers down her already shaken form. But as he came swinging down, long terrifying sword whipping forward, all she could do was shove the senshi of foxes aside, clearing both of them from the blade - but not without repercussions.

Sucking in a breath between her teeth, Duhr looked down at the damage. A long streak of red was swelling across her arm - he'd knicked her. The blade had sliced against her skin and while bleeding, was thankfully still a superficial wound. It even managed to cut through the puff of her sleeve - not that she really cared about her bloomin' fuku at this point.

The grimace turned into a grin, blonde curls bouncing wildly as she scrambled her way back to her feet. "Bout time one of y'all showed up."

Hands clapped together and formed her pointed gun, aiming it in the direction of her new gung-ho opponent, one eye closed as she marked her target. "Now it's my turn, mister."

With a loud call of Twisting Winds! the wind whipped at her feet, quickly twisting and forming a funnel cloud. There wasn't enough time to shape and perfect it, not with all the fighting around them - did that senshi just throw his tiara, what the hell - but she had enough seconds for the twister to grow to an acceptable size before her hands flattened out and sent the wind forward with a shove.

It may not hit the scary looking General, but it sure as hell would give the others an opportunity to rally up while he dodged the attack, wherever it decided to spin off to.

Twisting Wind
Twisting Wind - creates a small (4-5ft tall) twister which spins in the direction Duhr aims. It picks up and carries with it small debris and objects in its path within a 4-5 foot radius. Any person or creature hit by Twisting Wind is knocked backwards. Once begun, Duhr has no control over its direction.

Disposable Captain Jarethite

Jarethite had expected many things today. Get up, eat breakfast, root through files, whip some newbies into proper fighting form. Typical expectations. Everyday occurrences. What they had never expected, nor could have ever planned for, was a mass of senshi and knights suddenly bursting in through the castle gates.

No, this was all wrong. An hallucination brought on by eating questionable corn flakes. Order couldn't be here!

Then, the shock quickly turned into anger and Jarethite found themself summoning their weapon and twirling it through the air. Perhaps their peers would have called them cowardly for looking for the weakest points to target. Those peers would be fools. Jarethite had every intention of surviving this skirmish. And of possibly using senshi hide to decorate their office door...

Pale, golden eyes locked onto a small group that had just entered. A white haired senshi in pink caught their attention the quickest. Now, that one would make a beautiful rug. Then, another shock as a senshi that was also a Mauvian came into view. The cats could be senshi? This was new! But she had a lovely hide too. Smiling, Jarethite decided they'd be doing a lot of redecorating when this was over.

Darting through the edges of the crowd, they swung their quarterstaff back and around, clearing a path. Then, with a smile that was almost childlike in its sweetness, they popped up near the group and swung the staff hard, aiming for faces, knees, arms. Whatever would hurt and disable.

"It's very impolite to come in without knocking or an invitation, you know," they said pleasantly.

(Disposable) Lieutenant Peachikite

One week to the very day, Lieutenant Peachikite had been brought into the Negaverse. The initiation had been painful, the transition - not nearly as much. They had promised her glory, they had promised her power, they had promised everything a young fifteen year old girl could ever ask for.

This morning, her General had brought her to this dark, scary-looking place for training and lessons. She needed to know what side she had joined, their purpose and mission. The White Moon senshi were bad people and intent on hurting not only their cause, but they invaded the planet as well! SO not cool!

It was during one of these lectures that the doors had flown open, loud shouting echoing through the hallways as the senshi stormed into the castle. Wait...senshi...here? What?

"Well isn't this just peachy."

The string of beads felt extra cold and extra useless as gloved fingers rubbed against one of its many orbs. Leave it to her to have the worthless weapon while all of her comrades were looking cool and wicked against all of these stupid aliens.

Eyes grew wide as she saw swords and words being tossed around - this was real. This was real and she was in the middle of an actual battle. What was she DOING here?

Edging to the corner of the room, wide brown eyes took in the scene in front of her as she swallowed - hard. Her General would be expecting her to take part... but maybe she'd just wait it out and see what happened, first.

Aegir, Super of Silence Attacking Cpt Jarethite b/c he's a baddie :F

Even as he'd been watching the kerfluffle going on before him, he'd been watching around as well; it was his job as the leader to do these things. So when he saw a rather spikey-haired Officer swinging a stick towards Thyrmr, he reacted like he'd been scalded, grabbing and jerking the long-haired senshi out of harms way while surging forward to take the first blow on arms crossed to guard.

The others he mostly dodged by pushing forward to take the blows on his own terms or by jumping around. Distance is dangerous with this one...
Boy did it hurt! The captain's quarterstaff was made of solid wood, magically enhanced and the officer wielded it like they'd been born to it. But that was okay, he'd manage. Monty, Thyrmr, and Ash were there - and many others. This ******** wasn't going to get the better of them!

Aegir feinted to one side, making Jarethite swing wide to strike at nothing, and threw himself bodily at the officer, "Well damn, left my invitation in my other pants!" Fist curling tight as it was driven hard into the captain's midsection, much of the curly-haired senshi's weight behind it. Unfortunately this left his back wide open as Newton's First Law of Motion went into effect. Shi--

Disposable Captain Jarethite - Counter-attacking fancy pants little s**t Aegir for GLORY

Before the strike was able to hit, a curly haired, blond senshi had gotten Jarethite's target out of the way and taken the blow on himself. Impressive. Stupid, but impressive. What was even more impressive was the way the little s**t jumped and bounced around. Unfortunately, it was also on the distracting side and enabled said little s**t to land a blow that drove the wind from their lungs.

Gasping like a landed fish, Jarethite went down on one knee and swung their staff blindly, feeling it connect with a soft whump that meant the blow had landed on soft tissue rather than bone. Shooting a hate-filled glare at the senshi, they finally managed to force oxygen into their lungs. Forcing themself to their feet, Jarethite began to stalk the senshi, watching carefully and spinning the staff around in a dizzying pattern meant to confuse. Then, with the speed of a snake, they lashed out, swinging the staff out and around in a way meant to knock the senshi of his annoying, skinny a**. Once they had the senshi down, the beatings could begin. Jarethite always looked forward to the beatings.

General Benitoite - Headed down to the fighting.

It was a youma, rushing into his tiny little office, which had alerted the General to something he thought utterly impossible - order. It wasn't order but rather where they were and what they were doing. Order was down here, in their territory, and there was of course fighting going on in the main area down on the first floor. Of course he doubted it would last long, the youma would get ahold of them and that would be the end of it - right? But no, just incase. The fighting was likely to spread before the youma were able to finish clearing the area of senshi and knights, god the mountain of paperwork they'd have to file on this one!

Paperwork on this would be insane, they'd have to mention who was there as far as officers and order went. They'd need to write up, if they could even figur eout, how on earth they'd gotten down here - so they could assure it didn't happen again. That was just the start, he was sure there would be much more but he couldn't even begin to think of what else they'd have to write up about.

Standing swiftly, his chair pushed back forcefully, his slate eyes turned toward the twittering, and chirping, youma as he nodded his head once. "Thank you, you should go back down and help dispose of the pests." He would head down as well - to handle the problem. Already his weapon had been summoned to his hand and was held in a tight grip. His little birdied hadn't said a word to him about this...how quaint. It looked like his birdies weren't much use...perhaps it was time to give up on working with them and trying to train them to be good birdies. Just the thought of his contacts failing him had the ashen blond growling under his breath. He was most displeased...and most angry.

Being that they were still in the castle, and not down in the rift, he was able to teleport himself down into the fray going on. Just as he arrived he watched a youma being taken down and wanted to laugh, did they think that would do them any good?! It would just be reborn, sort of anyway, even if it did take time. How useless an action! Slate eyes moved around quickly taking in the scene he'd teleported in to. Oh, how lovely....oh the paperwork.
