Night has just fallen, both on Earth and on a small asteroid not all that far away. The sky is clear. Something in the stars above seems still. Only a few twinkle in the dark, just as they always have. But something else is happening in the shadows. Something not so normal, not so peaceful. A girl moves quickly through the Earthen night. She has gathered as many senshi, knights and cats that she knows — and many others she has just met. Here, under the streetlights of a city she only recently began to call home, she reaches out to a senshi next to her so that they all link hands… And she calls out to her other home among the stars. ——— It is still night when they arrive, but it is a different night. When once you saw the moon in the sky, here you see none. Where there was a street, you see a winding path leading up. Where there were lights, you see crystals that glow. But it is still the same stars, still the same sky. You are not as far from home as it may seem — even on Urania. ——— The senshi that called you all here places a sphere she is holding on a dais. If you have been to this world before, you recognize the basic design. The sphere lights up and you can see stars and constellations in its surface. It clears the fog before you and you see a tower floating in the distance — dark, spiraling and so very, very ancient. “This is the Observatory.”Urania says this as she leads you slowly up the winding path to its large and arching doorway — nothing much but the light of a few crystals in the ground to keep you from toppling over the sides of the bridge-like path and into the unknown. But you can easily follow Urania by the stars she leaves behind as her, a new one lighting her path after each new step. “It was important to me in the past and yet, since I have awoken, it has not been accessible to me. Its entrance was hidden by this fog. Who knows if I would have ever found it on my own.”Her voice is solemn, quite unlike herself. But you see a gleam of that old smile and sweetness when she shows you her two things: the sphere with the constellations that she holds in her hand and a little dragon that is curled around the other. “I found this sphere on my world and this precious little one on Earth. One thing from each helped me get here. Isn’t that interesting?” The tiny dragon does not seem so happy to be here again and it disappears into its pocket dimension. “Oh. Yes. Back to why I brought you all here.”You are now in front of the door and you can begin to feel… it’s quite hard to describe, at first. It’s dark and distant. But it’s definitely coming from somewhere behind the door. It doesn’t belong there, but you can’t make out why. At least, not at first. “Perhaps I should show you? Maybe that will explain it better than my words ever could.”She holds up a hand in the dark and presses it against the door. Suddenly, in the dead of night, there is light! It swirls from her hands into the door and it weaves a pattern of starlight in its surface, star and constellations patterns appearing just as quickly as they disappear, reacting to the one person in all the worlds it ever would — the senshi of this world. The doors open just a crack — no more! — and a force at once foreign and unmistakable seeps from within, like a darkness trying to snuff out any light it can find. It’s clear as day now what is inside the Observatory. Chaos. Quote: This is an introduction to the situation on Urania’s world and contains no challenges or battles. Please feel free to have your characters arrive and ask any questions they may have. This role-play will last 72 hours. ❂

Alastor, Eternal Senshi of Despair
Alastor was somber as he observed Urania’s world. It wasn’t the first time he’d been here, but he was no fan of any Chaos so great. Earth had its own problems with Chaos but for all its effort it hadn’t sunken into the Core of the world, it hadn’t started to rot it from the inside out.
On his world, he was at least familiar with the Chaos. Here, he had to rely on Urania and her information, and the group that had come to her aid. He worried, of course. He was confident in himself, so that wasn’t an issue. He knew Sessrumnir was more than capable. He didn’t need to worry about him, but he stayed close anyway.
They’d trained the boys. Amarynthos had taken to combat and self defense better than Ephesus, but they were still a good team–and Ephesus had a special sort of process that meant he didn’t always have to rely on combat. They probably didn’t need Alastor to hover, but he did anyway.
He didn’t know Urania’s Chaos. He knew her world had tested her, and he knew she’d put in no small effort to try and put things back together.
He’d been silent since they arrived, listening intently and taking in what he could. Just in case.
When she cracked the door, he felt an ache in his chest. An old scar that reacted in bad weather. It had nothing to do with Chaos so he knew it must have just been in his mind. Or maybe the pressure of the Chaos just weighed on him the same.
Amarynthos, Squire of the Moon
Amarynthos had not been so quiet. He’d made small comments and questions to his small group while they walked, mostly to the Ephesus. He hadn’t been to Urania before, not like Alastor and Ephesus. But, he’d heard of it. There were no magical bears wandering around–a shame–but he looked for them anyway.
Urania had a warmth to her, an energy, that almost drowned out the Chaos. He dug his staff into the ground and leaned on it a bit, pressing his lips together as he tried to peer through the cracked door.
He didn’t know where she’d gotten a dragon on Earth but it seemed like such an irrelevant question to ask given the circumstances. He’d seen world-polluting Chaos, but he hadn’t been as strong, and Alastor had made sure he was somewhere safe and Sessrumnir made sure he was with people who could keep him safe.
Now, he stood next to both of them.
Probably as much because they trusted him as they wanted to keep him safe, but he couldn’t blame them. He was right where he wanted to be, anyway.
He had questions for Urania, sure, and no shame about speaking in front of a crowd.
He was just still taking everything in and thinking about what he really wanted to know. He didn’t want to interrupt her, so he could be patient.
Maybe the Chaos could be, too.

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter “So this is Urania,” Sessrumnir said quietly, mostly to himself as he stood beside Alastor and took in their surroundings. He had his arms crossed comfortably over his chest, and made sure that even if he was looking elsewhere, he could still see Ephesus and Amarynthos in his peripheral.
He didn’t need anyone to respond. If anything, he was just filling the heavy quiet among them as Urania showed them the Chaos lurking behind the door of the Observatory. The hair on the back of his neck was already on end since arriving. He knew why they were there. He knew how dangerous it was to tackle Chaos.
They came close to not making it out of Alastor’s world.
But with everyone working together, they managed it. Not without some bumps and bruises of course.
The sphere Urania showed momentarily caught his attention, but he knew better than to think that every spherical object related to the stars originated from Sessrumnir. They certainly didn’t hold the monopoly over spherical, magical objects and maps and star charts, but maybe something in his starseed pulsed with an echo of pride for the work the Wonder did. Ephesus, Knight of the MoonEphesus didn’t mind Alastor and Sessrumnir being protective and staying close. It was sweet. Amarynthos staying close was sweet too, but while Ephesus would have liked to hold his boyfriend’s hand, he instead held onto his staff and listened carefully to what they were being told, and paid attention to what they were being shown.
Although, once the door cracked open and Chaos was right there, Ephesus couldn’t help but take a cautious step back. He just hoped Amarynthos didn’t mind that he was practically hiding behind him.
“You don’t think spraying it with water would make it go away?” he asked quietly with a wary smile up at Mary. He didn’t want to sound like he was making jokes or not treating this seriously. He wasn’t! Things on this world already reacted differently than expected. Instead of fighting the bears that appeared, he’d helped to calm them down, and they helped him and Alastor get the key for Urania to get out of her cage. So maybe this Chaos would be different as well?
Somehow he doubted it, but he wanted to be hopeful. Even if he was kind of scared of how heavy and intimidating it felt.

Connie, Squire of Chronos“A baby DRAGON!!” Connie had to press her hands over her mouth as she squealed with delight. She knew she was there to help fight Chaos but there was a baby dragon, and it was the cutest thing she’d ever seen that day.
She’d already caught sight of both Perdita and Belmont when the Knights and Senshi gathered on Earth to be taken to Urania, and she was so excited to see them again. Like really excited. Like, she didn’t get to spend so much time with people she considered her friends as often as this. Not in a long time, at least.
“Did you see the baby dragon?? Oh my gosh. Oh, oh, right, the Chaos. UM, that’s probably a bad thing to keep inside, right? I mean, I guess it’s better than being outside, but. Does Chaos get into things like plumbing? Will the toilets be haunted? There are toilets in Observatories aren’t there? Oh, sorry,” she quickly covered her mouth again as her face flushed with embarrassment when she realized she was just rambling.
Thankfully, she knew Belmont and Perdita at least didn’t seem to mind her rambling. Or other oddities.

Reims, Squire of Ganymede“Have you tried, I don’t know, blowing the whole place up?” Reims wondered out loud. But if people looked his way, he quickly closed his eyes so he didn’t have to see, and pretended that his ears weren’t burning red either.
“Just saying! If everything is contained inside one place, then why not just get rid of that one place? What do we have to do? Hold hands and sing kumbaya while standing around it?”
He didn’t know how Senshi purged Chaos from their worlds! He knew it was done before. Amarynthos and Ephesus said they were there when they helped Alastor (whom Reims assumed was the brooding guy with the long black hair and shiny clothes near them -- he definitely looked more like an alien than the guy with scars across his face).
Of course, he also didn’t want to seem stupid around his friends. At least as long as they still wanted to be friends with him. That was yet to be determined and would only be put into question once he let them know his identity. But for now…
He’d been asked by Ephesus if he was available to help, since apparently Ephesus had been to Urania before. At first Reims wasn’t too sure because he was still feeling awkward and guilty, but thought it would be a good chance to have Rose meet the others. She needed a connection to people other than him, anyway. And he’d been pleased to find out that Yvoire and Dering were going to be there too.
“Rose, have you met any of my friends before? Or at least Dering since, I mean, since you’re both…” he gestured broadly to both of their outfits and the symbols they had. “Um… he’s gonna teach me to play the violin. Eevie and I clean up our wonders together. And Amarynthos and I--” he suddenly stopped. He was going to say they played baseball together which was true if Amarynthos was really Elliot, which made the most sense since he and Ephesus were always together but…
“Uh… Amarynthos and Ephesus and the rest of us went to beat up some Negaverse officers before. This is Rose,” he finished anticlimactically and shut his mouth before he could say anything else.

Belmont, Squire of Jupiter
Belmont was glad to have bumped into Connie and Perdita. Not that he couldn’t have managed showing up on his own, but he was pretty sure that was Sessrumnir over there, so he was glad to be in a group. Nothing against the Jupiter Knight! He liked him. He had taken his advice very seriously.
He just also had not spoken to him for quite a while and wasn’t particularly jumping at the chance to make now the right time to talk. They were here to support Urania.
Connie made it easy to distract himself from the unnerving presence of the Chaos, and the corner of his lip twitched into a smile. He didn’t want to look like he wasn’t taking this seriously, but he couldn’t help but welcome her excitement. It eased some of the stress he hadn’t realized he was carrying.
He was excited to be here. He couldn’t help it. He liked adventure. He liked trouble. He liked danger.
He was trying to be responsible, and he certainly wasn’t celebrating that Urania was in any misfortune. There was just a certain rush that came with any adrenaline inspiring adventure, and his heart was already picking up the pace.
Chaos, awful and unknown, just behind those doors.
Urania was bright in the darkness of her world. He hoped that was a good sign.
His eyes lingered on the Senshi, but he leaned close to Connie so his voice wouldn’t carry beyond her or Perdita. “You should ask her where she got it. I kind of want one.”

Dering, Squire of Lysithea
Dering looked startled at Reims’ suggestion because even though he had yet to find anything substantial on his Wonder, he couldn’t imagine blowing any part of it up. But then, he also didn’t have Chaos there. Probably. It didn’t feel like there was, but he would be the first to admit that he was inexperienced and still learning.
Which was, in part, why he didn’t feel like he belonged here. Thankfully, he wasn’t the only Squire, and it was a relief to be with his friends.
Even if they were suggesting blow the place up.
He waved a sheepish, awkward hand at Rose, but he looked at Urania with an apologetic look, as if she would even see him in the crowd of people. He was standing next to Reims, but that was as much of a presence as he had. He didn’t even know if he’d spoken loud enough for her to hear.
“It’s, um. It’s nice to meet you,” Dering said, and held out his hand for her.
Amarynthos, Squire of the Moon
Not so far away, Amarynthos turned to wave at Rose. They hadn’t had time to talk yet but the night was young. He was careful not to stay mostly in place so Ephesus had a sizable figure to hide behind.
Amarynthos kept his voice somewhat quiet but in doing so lost none of his friendliness. “We didn’t have to blow anything up on Alastor. I think. Ephesus said Urania’s got a lot of neat technology and magic here, so I’m sure she’s got a plan. Besides, there could be something important in there.”
Like magic bears. Or ancient records. Or weapons. Or a Mauvian. Or any number of things that he couldn’t quite imagine because he was too distracted thinking about why the Chaos had chosen there to fortify itself.

Rose, Page of LysitheaRose wasn’t sure if she should even be here. It seemed dangerous, and she was still getting used to the fact that she could transform and become Rose to begin with. Compared to many of the people here, she hadn’t fought much of anything. Or so she assumed. Some seemed to be at the same level as her. Others were much stronger.
She followed along quietly, glancing around as they went, then stood by Reims as they came to a stop and watched the door to the Observatory crack open. Rose inched back a step, clutching her spindle with both hands.
Reims made introductions among his friends. A small smile twitched onto Rose’s face, widening further when she noted the symbols on Dering’s outfit.
“I didn’t know there were more Lysithea pages,” she said, pausing to look between Dering and Reims with a slightly furrowed brow. “Or… squires? I’m still learning the ranks,” she added in a whisper, not wanting to admit how little she knew. Reims had told her, of course, but it was a lot to remember. “One of my other friends became a Lysithea page, too. Back when I did. But…”
Rose glanced back toward the Observatory door, and the darkness within. She shivered at the feel of it.
“How are we supposed to fight something that’s just… fog or darkness?”- Yvoire, Squire of GanymedeYvoire tried not to let the irritation that simmered low in his gut show on his face. Now wasn’t the time for it, nor was there any point to it in the first place. It was just that he’d thought he and Reims might be—… that maybe they could—... that the fact that they were both of Ganymede meant—...
Well, he wasn’t sure, really, but it was hard to look at Rose standing by Reims and not feel a little resentful, especially when Reims seemed to gush over her (alright, maybe that was only in Yvoire’s head) and all Yvoire got was a “we clean up our wonders together.” (Which was the truth; they hadn’t done much more than that, so why did it bother Yvoire so much that Reims didn’t gush over him?)
(Because they wore the same symbols. Because their wonders were practically right next to each other. Because they could cross a bridge on Ganymede and reach each other, and maybe he liked to believe in Fate sometimes. Who was Rose but some pretty girl with a pretty name and a bunch of unicorn friends?)
Feeling spiteful, Yvoire shuffled a little closer to Ephesus and Amarynthos, even if he was a bit jealous of Ephesus for having such a nice boyfriend. He didn’t have any suggestions for what to do about the Chaos, so he kept quiet and looked, nervous about what they might potentially have to do. He knew how dangerous Chaos was. He knew it could be destroyed, that it had been before elsewhere, but he saw no obvious method for doing so now.

Super Sailor Perdita, Senshi of PlentyPerdita tried not to laugh at Connie’s rambling. Facing Chaos was no laughing matter, after all. She would know; she’d faced it on Alastor before. But Connie’s sweetness and excitement made it difficult for Perdita to remain as stoic as she might have otherwise. She couldn’t suppress a few quiet snickers but hid them behind one of her gloved hands.
“You never know,” she said in a low voice, wary of their conversation carrying beyond them. “There were things sort of like ghosts on Alastor. Were either of you there? It was… a little unsettling. Chaos manifested as, like, visions… or memories, maybe? Nightmares? So the toilets might not be haunted in the traditional sense, but there might be something similar.”
Once she had control of her amusement, Perdita grew more serious, peering at the cracked open door. She had the familiar sense of wishing that Oberon had been able to come, but pushed that down, too. She and Connie and Belmont could look out for each other. There were plenty of others here. She saw Alastor and Sessrumnir. She might not know either of them well, but she knew she could trust them and rely on them if necessary.
She would be fine. She’d done this before. They could do this again, together.
“Stay close,” she warned Connie and Belmont. “Whatever ends up happening, we’ll be in more trouble if we get separated.”

The senshi acknowledged her first comments to those who had come to Urania before. “I wish I could have called you here on better terms. Actually, it seems I only take people here when there is a problem. I really need to — er — invite you all here when there isn’t a crisis.”Then, she turned to the newcomers. “We must not damage the tower. It’s the last remaining building on all of Urania. How it hasn’t been damaged when everything else has been destroyed —” She said to the one that suggested destroying the place, her voice briefly showing emotion. “The Observatory was important to this world — to me!”Asked how they were supposed to fight the Chaos, she replied: “I’m not sure if it is fog or darkness. Just that they are the forms it has manifested as previously. I’m not really sure what I need to do to clear the Chaos at the heart of this world. I just know this is where it is. I… haven’t been able to even get inside until now.”❂

Super Sailor SelinurSelinur had arrived and was keeping to himself, for now, as he took the time to look around at the planet. He'd been here before to help Urania woth another issue, something likely related to the chaos here, he knew she'd been working hard on her planet and he needed to do the same. He'd been to his planet, he couldn't avoid the place despite how it hurt to be there, but he hadn't faced any challenges yet.
"What happened to the other buildings, if you don't mind me asking." He finally spoke up, curiosity shining in his eyes. He was eager to learn and find out what had happened here, and not just because of the suffering this planet had faced from chaos. But he thirsted for knowledge and secrets.
"How was it that the people came to an end? Perhaps there is an answer to be found in what happened to everything else?" He questioned, looking to find out whatever he could but also he did wonder if learning from the past would help here and now - would give an answer of what they were fighting and how to go about it. "It might also be good to know what this has done, in the past, to living beings." Was it like on his planet and an illness which had swept through the population with nothing stopping it? How had this fog, or darkness, worked to bring a planet to an end. "Anything you can tell us might help."(Open for interactions).

Sailor Grieve of GrieveLooming behind Urania, arms crossed as she went from scanning the tower, the orb, and the dragon to picking out faces from the crowd. If there were a few old acquaintances here and there, they were by far outnumbered by new faces, familiar and otherwise. People really turned out for this huh? Did they all owe Stargazer favors or were they just really ********' bored of Earth? Couldn't blame them. At Urania's defense of her tower's continued existence, Grieve placed a hand on her back, murmuring, "Meceyah." Guiding star. And then she was sneering at the boy, "Explosions or singing? Either of those need a pissbaby knight?" s**t, it may actually need some singing, magic was ********' weird like that. If there were riddles...There were a lot of child knights about, actually, a sight that still left Grieve feeling odd. Would there be chibi knights on the horizon too, if the code grew desperate enough? Brought down to the level of any pissant world's senshi then, and wouldn't that be a joke. When Selinur spoke (hotspringshotspringshotsprings) Grieve found herself both unhappy yet still curious (hotspringshotspringshotsprings) as to the answers. For a moment she glared and wanted to tell him to back the ******** off, that these were highly ********' personal questions. But in this, Urania was the leader. It was her role to define the mission and provide intel, and she didn't need Grieve to be a yappy ******** guard dog and making her look the weaker for it. Still, in a low voice she commented to her friend, "I'm here to punch or kill whatever's ********' about, but if there's gonna be riddles again..." Then maybe the baby knight had a point. She'd buy Urania a new tower. An even bigger one. When she had money. Meighei it'd be such a great tower ok Sleet Tempest Snape (hotspringshotspringshotsprings)

Sessrumnir, Knight of Jupiter “No one is going to blow up anything,” Sessrumnir said gently to reassure the distressed Senshi. At least not without her express permission. There was enough chaos the last time there were any explosives being used, and Sessrumnir wasn’t in the mood to repeat that.
“There's a lot of teenagers here,” he said quietly to Alastor, taking a step closer to him so he could share his thoughts without upsetting anyone. It wasn’t said as a bad thing. Just an observation. So many there seemed young, or inexperienced. He knew not to be deceived by the lifespan of some, such as Alastor. But even with all of Alastor’s wisdom and experience, being on Earth, being here, was new.
“When you were here with Effie, could you sense anything?” he asked, and he knew it was a vague question, but he trusted Alastor to know what he meant. There were just some things that only intuition could answer. They’d managed to get rid of the Chaos from Alastor, so maybe there was something he was more in tune to than others would be.

Ephesus, Knight of the MoonEphesus wasn’t too sure about blowing things up, and made a concerned face as he stood beside Amarynthos, but he soon tried to offer his friends a small smile of encouragement and lifted his hand to wave to Rose as well.
“Even if Urania doesn’t have a plan, we’ll be able to help her. I think her world is really receptive to wanting to heal,” he offered, not entirely sure he was right, but confident that if it didn’t want to get better, those bears would have definitely attacked him instead of help him and Alastor.
He offered his smile to Yvoire when he moved closer, glad to see them all there to help. They might not all be very strong, or experienced, but they were determined. And they were there.
“I hope it’s not like the Chaos on Alastor,” he said quietly, mostly to Amarynthos, but to Yvoire as well. But he knew it wasn’t fair to talk about something that the others didn’t know about.
“The Chaos could manipulate itself into making you believe things. It turned into people we know…” He took another step closer to Amarynthos, knowing that he must have had a scary encounter with the Chaos. He knew it was him that he saw, but hurt… Ephesus had always been afraid to ask how hurt. He didn’t want Mary to relive that.

Super Sailor SelinurSpotting the female behind Urania the ancient senshi raised a brow and cocked his head to the side. How interesting....he knew who this one was. She'd visited in the ancient past, when he'd been young still, and he was certain there was even more information locked away on his planet about her. He just needed to visit the library to look it up, even if it would take a lot of time to find, he would find something on her if he wished to go looking. If she had visited his planet, as he knew she had, something had been written about her and stored away.
His tail swayed and his ears tipped forward as he stood watching and waiting to see if he'd get some information, because even if it wasn't useful to the mission he did want information. That was one thing he always wanted - information. This blue haired ancient was certainly agressive...at least in words, though from what he did remember it wasn't just all words. This one would back that agression up physically. At least there was more muscle here to handle this chaos. Another world which would surely be reclaimed by it's senshi...another bit of the cosmos cleared of chaos.
