(( This is an ORP for whoever wants to learn a little more about the DMC from those who have met and/or heard of them before. If you have questions, it's not going to be as good as talking to someone from the DMC itself, but it should give your character a bit more IC knowledge if they didn't get to meet Requiem!
The gist of the ORP will be to talk about what people know about the DMC, answer questions, share information, and hopefully plan some way to better protect the Surrounding.
Everyone is welcome to post! Don't forget to bold the characters you are talking to, and just for simplicity sake, please underline your own character's name so they can be properly responded to!))————————————————————————————— Valhalla wasn't really sure where to start first. Upon realizing that someone from the Dark Mirror Court had somehow gotten into the Surrounding, he had immediately gone to Captain Virgo to work on some kind of intervention. If one senshi from the DMC could make her way into the Surrounding, what was stopping the rest of them? Right now they had civilians to protect until they could figure out a way to get them home. They couldn't afford any more deaths.
The Page of Jupiter stood at one end of the large first floor of Chronos Outpost, waiting to see if anyone else would wander in after he'd tried to get the word out that they needed help from anyone and everyone available and willing. They had a lot of space to cover and very little time to get it all taken care of.
"Thank you all for coming out to help," he spoke up, wanting to get this underway as soon as possible. "We've got a bit of a situation that needs to be taken care of. For those of you who don't know, there was a member of the Dark Mirror Court captured here and taken for questioning. They have the ability to walk through mirrors like the Parallels, but they're corrupted by chaos, only not really Corrupted Senshi like the ones who serve the Negaverse," he explained and then paused when he realized he was rambling. He wondered what he should say, what people would be interested in, and what they just didn't care about.
He decided to stick to the basics. Or at least try to.
"We need to figure out what to do with the mirrors, especially with how many there are. Please don't break them... Not unless it's the absolute last resort. These have been around for who knows how many thousands of years, and it's part of the history here." He already promised Virgo that he wouldn't break mirrors. "We've got most of Virgo Outpost taken care of. Well, we've covered the mirrors with sheets, but if we need to go back and collect them all, we could set something up for that, too."
Valhalla forced himself to stop talking then, waiting to see if anyone had questions or ideas or... anything, really.

Chronos stood up, pink butterfly wings on her back signifying the authority she had in her Castle. They were planning tactics, to prevent yet another of the Dark Mirror Court from slipping into the Surrounding. What if she hadn't been there when Requiem had arrived? Chaos would not take the Surrounding. Not in the past, not now, not ever. Even if it had managed to recruit stronger people to puppet for its doings. "Moving the mirrors from Outpost to Outpost would be quite tricky." She spoke. "I echo the sentiment not to break them unless you have to." Everything was already quite run down as it was, and it was hard to force herself to deliberately break anything still intact.
"Would the sheets really stop them though?" She queried. "I don't know how their mirror walking works, per se, but..." The Princess paused, an idea formulating in her mind. "Perhaps all the mirrors can be brought to a certain room in an outpost? And we could take turns guarding the rooms. Then at least we'll be able to know where they'll emerge instead of letting them be able to sneak around."
"What if you arrange the mirrors to face other mirrors?" Flora asked. "I'd imagine that it might confuse them?"

Sailor Europa sat beside Valhalla, feeling rejuvenated after her brief stay at Virgo. If someone had mentioned the outpost's healing properties before now, she'd have come to the surrounding days ago instead of waiting for some kind of divine sign. The trip to Chronos had been somewhat fraught - apparently there had been monster attacks along the rainbow road - but now that she'd arrived, the senshi of the deep was feeling revived and ready for action.
"Any mirror large enough to climb through is suspect," she told the princess. "Smaller ones aren't a worry, but treat them as windows to be secured - if a bandit could climb through a window that size, it's a danger." Mirrorwalking was a bit of a sore subject to Europa; she'd seen it in action once, and gotten the rest of the lowdown from Zirconia - it was certainly enough to make you not feel safe in your own home.
She reached into the backpack at her feet and drew out a roll of duck tape. "I don't know if this works or not," explained Europa, glancing around the assembled group, "But since I found out about the Mirrorwalking I've been putting tape across my mirrors." Leto knew every mirror in the Cowden household, natch. If Europa wanted any peace of mind that her cousin wasn't sneaking about, it meant putting silvery stripes across her mirrors. Her father knew better than to ask why.
"It might not do anything at all," she added, "but it helps me sleep at night."
Hearing Flora's suggestion, she glanced over at the senshi of spring. "If anything it's worth a try," Europa replied, imagining a DMC Senshi caught in an infinite loop, Portal-style. "Or we could turn the mirrors to face walls. It's not as elegant, but if even one of them gets a face-full of brick it would be worth it."

Camelot listened to Valhalla quietly, nodding his head slowly as he took in the information. He didn't know anything about these senshi, but that didn't really matter at the moment. He knew they existed and that they were a problem. That was enough, for now, and he was there to help.
Whatever he had to do, he reminded himself. That was always how it was.
The knight listened and turned his head when Chronos spoke up.
"That sounds like a good plan. Bringing them all together. It would at least limit their ability to come into this place. But is there a way to know of all the mirrors in the surrounding? Do they need to know of them, or can they find them from anywhere? It seems very strange. They can come where we can't, theoretically: if there is a mirror in a room we can't reach..."
He saw the blocked off areas that some of the Outposts had, for various reasons. There was no reason to think there might not be mirrors in the rooms beyond. But would those be of any more use to the DMC then the ones plotted to move into one room? "I mean, it's very possible that if there's no way for us to get into the rooms, there's no way for them to get out but..."
It was still better to bring it up then let it go thought of and unattended to, as far as he knew.
He had his hand on his chest when he spoke, fingers curled into a fist, and he bowed his head toward Chronos respectfully before he had begun. He heard Flora and Europa chiming in as well, nodding his head with each thought.

Maia had been truly frigtened to here the news that a member of the DMC had found their way onto the surrounding. To her it meant more than the civilians being a risk. She knew a few other BMC members had come to the aid of the civilians and she was afraid they were in danger as well.
She stood next to Camelot her hand reaching out and clutching the bottom of his tunic. "All of those suggestion are very good ones. The problem with the smaller mirrors is that they can still watch us, at least I am pretty sure that is the case and as Europa said if they are big enough to crawl through, it might happen. The mirrors can be use for mirror walking, but communication and watching as well. I think moving them would be best, moving them and turning them to the walls or each other if possible. I think it will be very confusing at the very least."
She clutched her own bow in guilt, she was never going to stop feeling like she had one of the biggest hands in bringing about the DMC. She wanted to cry every time she thought about her friend turned enemy, who called her a traitor and wanted her head on a platter. Shame faced was the perfect description for her expression.

Ganymede didn't have any questions, or ideas, or anything, really. At least, not initially. He was never really good at the whole 'gathering as a group thing,' especially with people he didn't know. There were a few familiar faces, of course, and others he knew by sight but not by name. Once again he felt as if he simply had nothing to add, and merely showed up as some sort of moral support for the people who always had his back.
He stood on the other side of Valhalla and let him do all the talking, because the page had been the one to be there to see the member of the DMC in person, and Val knew about as much as anyone else did concerning what was currently going on, and, at the end of the day, Val was a whole lot nicer than he was. People responded to him better. It was easier to just let him take care of everything and follow along offering help where he could.
Then the suggestions started to be thrown out, and the questions started being asked, and he couldn't keep himself quiet. "We were told before that they needed to have visited the mirrors before in order to come through them," he said with a glance toward Maia, who seemed knowledgeable on the subject as well, "but it doesn't seem like that's the case anymore, unless they have been here and we just don't know it. I'm more interested in finding out how the youma are getting here," he added, with a curious look toward Valhalla and Europa, the two he knew best. "You don't think they could be getting in the same way, do you?"
He didn't have a clue. He was feeling pretty clueless about everything. It always seemed like the minute he thought he had everything figured out, something came along to throw a wrench into it.
"Either way, I agree that gathering all the mirrors together would be our best bet. Cover the ones we can, turn some around, see what works best, have at least a couple of people watching them at all times, maybe have other people patrol the roads between outposts, too."

Szczeonsny, better known as Lucky, was probably not supposed to be here. But that tale was about a month old at this point. With nobody telling her the place was off limits, she had followed the rumor mill here and was determined to be of some help. These guys weren't the only magical space people, she gathered, though most of the vocabulary went straight over her head. But they were pretty cool space people and if they were having Bloody Mary problems, well, at least Lucky could claim some experience. Lots of stupid things happened when her younger sister had sleepovers.
She hung out somewhere toward the back of the oddly dressed group (ok, she wasn't exactly exempt from that description any more), waiting for an opportunity to speak up. "What happens to these 'Dark Mirror' people if you tape mirrors together facing each other? Infinite loop?"

Sheila had spent the past several weeks at the Chronos Outpost, doing her best to keep out of the way. She was fleeting, darting from corner to corner with her head down as she focused on dusting and doing her part to keep the outpost clean.
She still didn't know what to make of the senshi or knights. They were just... strange people to her. She didn't know of their magical powers or anything -- all she knew is that they at least had an idea of what was going on while she didn't.
"Um," she ventured, raising her hand and waving to Valhalla to catch his attention. "What if... What if you took all the mirrors and made a mirror maze? I mean, that should slow them down and put all the mirrors in one place, right? I just don't know how you can put the mirrors up in place to keep them upright in order to, well, be an actual maze since if you push some over it wouldn't be a mirror maze but instead a mirror pile and because it's a pile some of the mirrors might break and --"
Sheila stopped, blushed, then looked down at the ground and muttered a quiet apology before scooting to hide behind Szczeonsny.

He was glad to see those he recognized there, and some he didn't. He hadn't met Chronos before, but he'd seen her around. Some had told him she was a Princess, and at first he was wary since the only other "Princess" he knew about was Ares, but being the Princess of the Zodiacs, well... he was willing to trust her more readily than he might have, otherwise. Valhalla listened in silence as the others spoke up and all discussed what to do about the mirrors. He nodded in agreement with Ganymede about the mirrors needing to be visited before.
"Zirconia told us that. She's the Parallels' Guardian, but she left once Ares decided to recreate the court," he said, lifting a hand to rub at his chin, trying to think of a possible way for the DMC to be getting into the Surrounding, and then there was the trouble with the youma getting in. They couldn't just round up all the civilians into one place... how horrible of a time that would be! Still, there had to be something to do, other than just waiting for whatever happened to happen.
He glanced over at Europa and then Maia when she brought up them still being able to spy on them. Well, that didn't help... they couldn't let people watch what they were doing while they tried to protect everyone.
"What if, instead of putting them upright, if we lay them down on the ground? Face down? That way if someone was trying to get through, they would have to find a way to lift up the floor, but if it's a different dimension..." he trailed off, thinking about what he was saying and wondering if it made any sense. It would definitely take care of not having something solid blocking the entry way, and it would also prevent spying.
"Either way, it's going to be quite an endeavor trying to get the mirrors into one place. Maybe one room per Outpost?" he wondered, glancing over to Camelot since he knew it would most likely be he and the other knight who would be carrying the large mirrors in order to save others the trouble.
Valhalla couldn't help his lip twitching into a tiny grin when Szczeonsny spoke up with her thought. "Probably," he agreed, even if he didn't know for sure. "Mirror walking is like jumping through space. I've done it before," he added, remembering the time he went through a sketchy gasstation bathroom mirror and ended up in Zia's bedroom. "Well, I'm not really sure. It might be a solid wall if another mirror was there. It's going from one mirror to another, but if there's a third mirror without anywhere to go, after that..."
Maybe it wouldn't be an infinite loop... They'd need a third place and a fourth mirror.
He caught Sheila's hand, shaking his head. "Same thing, I think... They'd need other places to purposefully go. A mirror maze might just be one entrance and then dumby mirrors that go nowhere, unless they decide to go through to another place they've been." Either way, he offered her a small smile, hoping she didn't think her suggestion was stupid. It wasn't! Heck, none of them really knew what would work until they figured something out together.

"Kurwa mac," Lucky muttered under her breath. When she was distracted or excited, obscenities came out in the language of her people. The mirror maze was just too awesome for reality, apparently. She twisted around to gesture excitedly at Sheila. "You're like the Goblin Queen or something, girl!"
She finished his sentence for him. "Bloody noses for them!"
"Well, one time I had to exorcise Bloody Mary from my sister's sleepover party. Wrote her a letter and taped it to the mirror. Must've worked, we didn't have any trouble after that." Lucky glanced toward Valhalla with mischievous eyes, brushing a couple of braids out of her face. "Same principle applies here, right? Get us some paper and markers, we earth people can do up some nice 'no entry' signs and slap them on the mirrors before you flip them. Maybe they'll get the message?"

For the most part, Celsus was starting to feel at home at the Chronos outpost. Most of his time was spent up on the third floor, however, rather than the main floor, but once he had heard of the invasion from the Dark Mirror Court, he realized something quite unfortunate - namely, he himself did not even know what exactly the Dark Mirror Court was.
Some Knight of Chronos he was.
Which was why, when he'd gotten wind that Valhalla, the Jupiter Page he had met earlier, was holding a meeting to discuss the plans for the Surrounding's protection, Celsus thought it best to hightail it over there. Despite the fact that he had only been awakened for a few days at most, the last thing he wanted was to seem ignorant - since, after all, that would be no excuse should something drastic happen.
Standing near the back, Celsus' eyes surveyed the people in the expansive entrance hall of the Chronos outpost. He did not recognize many of them, but there were a few familiar faces - the princess, of course, and the senshi who had been with her when she had greeted him for the first time. Camelot, the blonde senshi whose name Celsus thought might be Ganymede, and then, to his surprise - the tentative face of Sheila, whom he had not seen for quite some time now.
Celsus, to his credit, remained uncharacteristically silent through most of Valhalla's introduction, not wanting to interrupt. Quietly he threaded his way through the throngs of people to stand beside Chronos, gently touching her arm to let her know she was there, and giving a small smile and nod to Flora as well. Though he did not have any problems introducing himself to new people, now was not really the time to go around and do so, so instead he was going to stick with someone he was comfortable around - at least for the time being.
"How many mirrors are we talking here?" Celsus asked Valhalla, fingers absently twisting the coin in his hand. "I assume dozens of them, since you said it would be difficult to move them all."
He frowned a little, tugging at a lock of his hair thoughtfully. "The only problem I see with having the mirrors all on different outposts is that it creates a weakness, since it spreads them out. If the Court should find a way to break through our defenses, every outpost would be at risk, rather than just one."

After nearly beating a civilian to death for mistaking her as a negaverse agent Ate thought it wise to actually help out now. She was hardly pulling her weight as it was and although she wasn't the most active of the senshi anyway, she really didn't want to start getting a reputation. Sitting herself at the outer edges of the group she listen intently, trying to stem the little voice in her head which told her to make fart noises in the background and heckling the main speaking. She was doing very good so far, no insults just yet. But it didn't mean she didn't have a few thoughts of her own and the idea of placing all the mirrors in one area had her thinking. And when Celsus said his peace she was even more sure. Someone who thought along the same lines as her! She let her voice be heard.
"Am not doubting the idea of having all the mirrors together is a good one but imagine if their was an ambush? All the mirrors we have collected with all the Dee-Mem-Cee soldiers racing through them. Even if we put it against the wall it would only slow them down for a few seconds! And yes we could have guards but like Celsus said, would that leave us with weak spots elsewhere? The surrounding is our main problem....why dont we...why dont we throw all the mirrors out there, at least we know where they will all be coming from! Instead of, you know, behind our backs while taking a pee!"
Her words were spoken to no one in particular but she looked over at everyone there, including a few senshi and pages she hadn't met yet, she gave those a soft smile before awaiting her answer.

He heard about the DMC senshi appearing but didn't think it was possible. Space, much less a place guarded by the zodiacs was just way to far out there to even picture a force of Chaos. And if the rumors were true-
As Castor arrived, the rumors were confirmed. "So, we have forces of Chaos coming from the mirrors. That is-" He looked to Flora and Chronos, his brown furrowing. "Distressing." Not even that, it was damning. A refuge they once had now looking to be invaded. Just their luck. Castor did notice the Chronos knight, his brow raising. Another look to Chronos, something for them to discuss perhaps.
Looking at Maia, he didn't bring up their experience. "Ares is a corrupt princess, she'd be on equal, if not greater power then me due to her infusion with Chaos. She was blood thirsty as a regular senshi, and now?" Arms crossed, and his expression went dark. "If Ares is attempting to invade the surrounding, we can't afford risks. I doubt sheets with stop that b***h, and if she showed up, do you really think any one would stand a chance against her?" It was a worst case scenario.
Rubbing his temple he sighed. If it was Chaos wasn't ******** with one thing, it was with the other. "I'm not saying it's a dumb idea, but I highly doubt it would be enough. Putting them together might not work, as they might just break the opposing mirror. We don't know for sure what will stop them, so I would suggest our best bet is a combination of ideas. Essentially, if they manage to bypass one barrier, in theory, they will have to jump through multiple hurdles to continue on. By that time, one senshi or knight would have sense at least a small amount of the the chaos energy. If not sensing, a guard would be able to alert others and get reinforcments. But if we end up deeling with Ares directly-"
He looked at Chronos. The unspoken truth was if it came to that, they were the only two who could really oppose her. "If we can avoid it, that would be ideal. But-" This was her home, her ;world as it were. "Chronos-" It was just a guess but- "Have you ever purified anything before?" A shot in the dark.

The Senshi of Metalcraft sailor Hephaistos had wandered into the meeting by a stroke of foolish luck. The gathered Senshi was a first for him, usually it was clumps of civilians mingling but seeing the Chronos, and Flora among them had caused him to stop and linger on the edges of it all.
Eventually he moved over towards Castor arms crossed head cocked to the side. "Why not use paint? Or something thicker then cloth. Maybe turn the mirror around to face the wall if it has a solid back? As for putting them all in one room it'd have to be a room small enough that people couldn't fit, but the mirrors could or else they might just march... I dun know, however many people this DMC thing has right into the room and kick the doors down."
"And not to sound completely ignorant, but just what is the DMC exactly? Are they one of those um, corrupted Senshi?" He had heard rumors of the Corrupted, but the DMC was new to him considering his lack of experience still.

Regulus, for all his relative reputation for being a bit of a mouth, slipped in quietly, apparently mostly to listen, though his body language suggested he was trying to sit on a run away train of thought, at least until he could sort out a bit more information.
He'd never been fond of the parallels in the first place, so it was sort of bitterly satisfying to hear about Ares being just as bad as he'd wondered in the first place, when Nehelina had marched in and... not technically in so many words so much as his interpretation of things... informed everyone how lucky they'd been to have HER to bow down to.
Could they stand a chance against her, a corrupt princess, if she decided to March on the surrounding? (and god, how the hell would they manage to watch every freaking mirror out here anyway?) ....Alone... Alone obviously not. The fact that Castor had his doubts said something about that... but in sufficient number... who knew. Hell, civilians took out the odd Youma, surely if they played their cards right, the right numbers alone would give the b***h a run for her money. Life, after all, was not a cheap-a**-samurai movie.
...It would however require a fair amount of tactics, and that was the part he wasn't planning on betting on, regardless of anyone's boasts.
"Are we really going to be able to get All the mirrors in one place though, even if we try?" He finally fished, deciding he couldn't sit on ALL the questions forever. "I mean jeeze, I haven't taken a tally but there are a ton of them around, depending where you look. It would almost be simpler trying to cat-herd all the civilians to one place, and even that has it's risks."
