By all accounts, it was an ordinary evening. There was a slight breeze and even slighter cloud-cover. It was cold, but not unbearably so. Chilly, but it only made the stars shine brighter.

And oh, how they glistened.

Breathlessly, he stared up at them. The lone figure who had escaped the Rift. Not a youma. Not of the Negaverse. A stranger, to Destiny City. To Earth.

The coldness did not bother him, and he peered from behind the tattered remains of his dark cloak. Even with the patches of cloud occasional drifting across the sky, he could see them shining. And their beauty stunned him.

For a long moment, he could do nothing but stare, transfixed. Tears prickled his eyes, but the darkness concealed them. He could hear his heart pounding in his chest and his hands clenched at his sides.

It would be time, soon enough.

This was only the first step, of many, but he had been patient. He could extend his patience. The longest part--the worst part, was over.

It was almost painful to tear his gaze from the vast expanse of sky, and he looked then to the brilliant glow of the city below. This was not the world he had known it to be, and he stared in wonder at the bustle.

They were there.

The would-be heroes of Earth.

He could feel them; the pulse and throb of Order. Senshi, and knights, and cats. With that stinging, glistening burn of good. He felt it, down to his bones, and despite it all, it warmed him.

For a moment longer, he relished in the sweet solitude of freedom, and he took what time he needed for himself. And then he slipped his hand into a ragged pocket and pulled out a tiny, green crystal. The glow was faded—nothing like he remembered it, when it glowed bright enough to light a room—a dozen rooms. Now, it was dim. But it had served it purpose. He held it in his palm for only a moment longer, and then he crushed it.

And suddenly, they could feel it.

An energy signature unlike any who still walked this Earth had felt before. Strange and unfamiliar, and with an off tint. It wasn't chaotic, not in the way they would have known it, but it was nothing like the warm glow of an Order signature.

But what it felt like didn't matter; all that mattered was that they felt it, and that they knew where to find him.

He laced his fingers together, eyes on the city for another moment, and then his gaze returned to the sky as he waited.

And so he stood, alone, hunched in a way that concealed his shape and sheathed in robes that hid every inch of him, atop a single solitary hill just on the city's outskirts. Far enough away that no ordinary folk would find him, but close enough that he was a beacon to every one of Earth's hallowed protectors.

He did not know them, and they did not know him, but he welcomed them.

He needed them.

And they needed him just as much, even if they didn't know it yet.

This RP is open for posting, however only powered, order characters should attend. Chaos characters will feel a strange pressure on their mind, which greatly affects their ability to sense Order signatures. It's like their radars have shut off. Civilians and Chaos characters may feel repulsed from the area, and Order individuals are not permitted to invite Chaos characters with them (sorry!). While violence is not encouraged, you are free to play your character as you see fit--but beware! There's not telling what consequence your actions might have! This ORP will be open for a few days; if you have any questions you can PM the Shop Mule and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Please bold all character names and quote the Mule if you are interacting with this mysterious stranger!

Castor showed up in a flurry that was only within his power to do so:
Looking like a cocky a*****e with big a** wings.

"Well now." He said, looking at what he assumed was the source of the disturbance.
"And here I was expecting another Kurma." He paused. "You're not another weird cosmic dude are you?"

Castor had enough cosmic handmaidens to last him one lifetime thanks.

Eros had been out, sulking and trying to stay busy when she wasn't working. It was weird, being back to the couch surfing lifestyle she'd left behind in New York. In the few months she'd been in DC... she'd gotten kind of used to having a room of her own again, with her own bed and her own space. She missed it.

Suddenly, there was the strangest feeling... like that nagging in the back of the mind like there was somewhere she needed to be. It was the oddest thing, but Eros found her feet turning her to a new course, her path changing as she jumped from the top of a building to the sidewalk and broke into a loose trot.

The feeling drew her all the way across the city to the very outskirts and even as nerves drew a knot in her stomach as she left the tall buildings behind, Eros let the feeling draw her along. It drew her towards a particular hill, like any other hill out here, save there were two men on it, and both radiating conflicting energies that pulled her in different directions. Strong though... she could fancy she almost felt it physically. Weird.

Eros slowed as she approached, falling into a slow walk closer as she swung her eyes from one figure to the other.

Wow. One had dark wings and shining armor, looking like ******** Gabriel come to earth. The other, like some personification of Death in his hooded cloak that concealed every identifying feature. Or her cloak maybe. Who knows?

"So, um. I don't suppose the two of you had the same weird feeling about needing to be here?" She said, almost more to herself than to them as she circled at a safe distance, unsure how exactly she wanted to go about this. As ever, she was entirely disinterested in anything that could result in her getting injured in any way. And anything strange posed that risk.

There wasn't much Benji was looking forward to these days. A multitude of things mixed together, school, being a senshi, having a life if barely, that he couldn't tell which from which at times. Luckily he seemed to have just enough sense to know when or when not to be powered. And sure he had studying to do for an exam coming up but gods on high knew just how bored he was with that. So with a slam of his text book, and a brief magical boy sparkly glittery sequence Benji became Chara as if it was as easy as putting on a sweat shirt. After all that damned practice running around in heels it actually was pretty darn easy.

As soon as he powered up there there was this pressure on him that nearly made him stumble over. It was a pressure not unlike the pressure from needing to take a s**t too badly, except it was effecting his mind's eye. Hell, he wasn't even sure if that made sense, but damn was it strong and DAMN did it pull at him. And in an instant he was after it, like a cat after a laser pointer.

By the time he arrived.. It seemed like he wasn't quite alone. Some rather strong people were there, a rainbow sherbet looking lady and some.. Dude that was kinda.. well, he just felt STRONG. And then there was someone else.. Someone who was.. Damn. Just plain off, like the source of the weirdness was coming from him.. Huh..

"What the hell is going on here?"

Lenka had been training, working on some moves she had invented for herself, trying to overcompensate for her terrible senshi magic…though maybe she could and finally would talk to Julienne about fixing that one of these days. Guardian cats did seem to know everything, after all. She had just started to consider heading home for the night when something made her pause.

What kind of a feeling was this? What kind of a…what was going on?

It was a pull, a tug, something that was making her want desperately to go somewhere, and in fact her feet began to move to…to wherever it was she was going on their own. Or at least…somewhat on their own.

After a moment of slightly confused walking, the eternal senshi broke into a run, skidding to a halt when she reached…wherever it was she was going. She clearly was where she needed to be…someone else was there too. Someone with big wings.

Lenka eyed the other senshi with some interest before looking back at the…at the whatever it was that was looking up at the sky. He…it? It didn’t feel bad…just strange.

The large winged senshi spoke and she listened quietly for a moment, before voicing her own question to the being. “Just who are you? What do you want? How did you do that? How did you call us?”

Clearly she was as curious as ever. But…she didn’t like being…summoned like this. It kind of made her uneasy. Another senshi had appeared as she spoke and she blinked, this one was a girl, and she was quite pretty.

“I felt whatever that guy…thing is pulling me or something…I guess you did too, huh?”

"Please don't think I'm... intentionally dragging you into danger," she murmured to Hoshi, one of her arms linked with the Page's as they made their way towards the source of the... disturbance. It'd been the same as Metis had felt the other night while on patrol. The same... not quite skin-crawling sensation of Chaos but...

What else was there, but Chaos and Order..?

The Super Senshi gave a weak smile towards the knight before her attention was pulled to the far stronger sensation of a Royal. Again... not Iris. The voice told her all she needed to know--this one had been at the tea house as well.

Metis for a while looked about. Faint green waves here and there popped up from the flora. Copper energy waves streamed about from the bodies of those gathered--silver tendrils from the powered senshi, and brown from the knights was a new addition, she'd come to realize, since the visit to her asteroid and it's... strange effect on her vision. But...

Metis cocked her head, trying to turn her head this way and that as she looked about the area. "There's... no one here..?" But she'd heard the Royal speak to someone. Other people were speaking, describing the same sensation but... Her grip on Hoshi's arm tightened a bit. "I don't... who are they speaking to..? There's no one here..."

This... didn't make sense. Until Metis moved closer, likely pulling the Page a bit with her. And a strong shiver went down her back. The darkness of her vision, where no energy waves emitted, no silhouette of a copper human figure stood.... the darkness rippled.

The blind woman jerked back, unable to process what she was looking at. This sort of thing... it'd never happened before. "...Hoshi... it's not human," she murmured to the Page beside her, her voice icy and tight with fear she tried to smother. She'd seen human copper plenty of times. Plenty of white energy from magic, fire... cosmic forces beyond her comprehension. But... rippling darkness?

Never.

Stepping closer to the cloaked figure, the senshi felt her body stiffen for a fight. "Who are you and what are you doing here on our planet?" It wasn't human. It didn't give off a human aura. She was being brash, and perhaps jumping the gun here but... it wasn't human.

It was supposed to have been a normal night of patrol practice with Adria…and honestly, that’s what it had started as. Just a nice evening of throwing some punches and laughing and maybe even some gossip about whatever came to mind…but after just a few minutes of the laughter and the gossip and the punches…it turned into something quite different.

Quite different indeed.

It started out as a feeling. Which then grew into something that could not and would not be ignored. Lysithea wanted to go, wanted to find out what it was, but she wasn’t sure…if she should. What if it was a trap? What if it was something not good…

But then again, what if it was something that she had to find out asap and it couldn’t wait and it was waiting for her and…

The super senshi grabbed Adria’s hand. “Come on. We’re going. I don’t know where we’re going, but we’re going!” And she was off, running with the other senshi, towards whatever it was they were running to. When they finally got…there. Here? Wherever. She was both a little shocked and very pleased to see others there. Other senshi…people she didn’t know at all.

What a great way to network…though she could just here the conversation later.

How did you meet so and so again? Oh you know, just a meeting of people with a creepy cloaked dementor in the center who called me through magical brain waves. No biggie.

Though…she was quite sure that Cassie would want to know about this, so out came her senshi phone, and away went a text to the senshi of wonder. Hey! Get here. You’ll know where here is when you get here. I’m here, with my friend Adria, he’s cool…but get here, you’ll love it…it…it’s…kind of WONDERful. And I want you here with me buddy.

There. She glanced at Adria and gave a little grin. “Well…so much for sparring, hm? But this is exciting too, right?”

Babylon had been expecting something to happen for weeks now, although he wasn't sure what. Strange dreams only needed so much time to erupt into stranger reality, and when it happened, he was ready. The strange signature flared on the horizon, not Order, not Chaos. Not good, not bad, just... a signature.

More things on Heaven and Earth, Horatio.

There was already a crowd gathering by the time he arrived, a smattering of senshi grouped around a cloaked figure. That appeared to be the source of the signature. Babylon had met Kurma once, and tried to remember how he'd felt, but it had been too long ago for him to conjure it up.

For now, he decided, he was going to take a page out of the Code's lesson book, and listen.

Strange auras made for strange goings on, by all accounting of his own history so far as a senshi. Thraen paused where he was, near the University experimental gardens where he'd met with Vespa ages before, stilled and quiet while he focused. It isn't, no... it isn't Zirconia, who I haven't seen in an age. It isn't the flickering foreign wisps of energy like that grey version of me. So, what is it?

It felt wide spread. As vast a signal at least as one of the royals, and sure enough he could feel at least one of those moving toward the epicenter. Other signatures at the edges of his own awareness moving likewise. The sudden fluxes of auras at Fate, the convention, Wolframite's offensive, Alois' mangling, the new year's eve party, the rescue at the broken carnival all came crowding to the fore. Large gatherings on Earth rarely bode good news. But a strange aura that large inevitably would draw attention. Join or not?

It was only half a question, and Thraen of Gardens moved swiftly, like others, out from the metropolis to one of the verdant, more natural places beyond. A hill? Strategic for the high-ground and view of approach. The aura wasn't resolving into anything more definite than 'different' and 'strong'. There were other senshi there, knights. Thraen slowed to a walk as he came to the hill. Listened and watched and chose a flank to what might be the side of the shrouds. It was the start of what could organically become a semi circles with enough others. He stayed fifteen feet at least away, and did not speak at first.

Could as much be like Cassandra, a dignitary of might an age from some other place with greater time, or different social hierarchy. Any game with Titles like Queens and Princes on both sides, and Generals. This one is expecting us, by waiting here so chosen and still. So what will they say, or want to say? Like to Cassandra then, and wait to be recognized, if at all. And listen. Only...what does she say?

'not .....n'? Words too soft and to the knight beside her. But questions already fly mouths like birds.

Adria flashed a half hearted, barely visible smile. He was twiddling his thumbs nervously and clearly did not want to be here. Of course, he hadn't wanted to look cowardly in front of Lysithea, so he hadn't protested half as much as he'd wanted. His stomach felt like it was full of butterflies, and he was still too new to this to understand that things like this were a rarity. No words could console him in his nervousness, and the closer they got, the harder it was to take each step.

He wanted to go back to his little night patrol, fighting off youma or learning how to use his magic or defend himself with Cambria—not gather in the midst of a good number of other powered folk. There were already more there than he'd ever seen in his life, and with more showing up, he was in awe to see just how many there really were here.

"Exciting," he affirmed weakly, awkward laugh following shortly. He was trying very hard not to slip into the forest while she wasn't looking, but it was hard to stand there next to her, even if he was trying his hardest to make himself invisible for the stranger they were all gathering around.

Etamin had felt a sort of squeeze some how, as he was sitting down to dinner with his Mom and Dad, as Drew. He immediately excused himself from the table, as feeling sick to his stomach. Quickly retreating to his room, he transformed ("Etamin Power Make Up!"), and snuck out the window, as he had done now on several occasions. Using the traveling powers he had gained from becoming Sailor Etamin, he made good time following the squeeze feel, that was almost a summoning. He jumped and flipped and rolled through town. What was this feeling? Who was it? Order? Chaos? It felt like neither.

As he reached the hill, where the summons radiated from, he saw a crouched figure, that was where it came from. He had something in his hand, something sparkly.

Etamin saw other Order members around the figure, demanding where he came from and state his business, one of which looked like an angel, with massive angel wings - hmm must be high up in the ranks. As a low-ranking Senshi, he took his place among other scouts.

It seemed of Ananke that even as a senshi she just seemed to wander. So when she came out of the clouds and took a look around she was surprised to see many other senshi and a mysterious hooded figure a little ways ahead of her.

"Ah... I think I'm intruding on something...." She put her palm up to her cheek. She laughed nervously before she realized that something... that... the person in the cloak... She stared even though she knew it was rude.

"That person... doesn't..." She then moved her fist into a thinking position under her chin. She wanted to say that the person felt like they didn't belong here... but this was pretty much her first outing as a senshi. She had only just started sensing what senshi and agents of the negaverse felt like...

Ananke shook her head... what was she supposed to do exactly anyway?

Tonight's plans had been normal. After night fall, meet up at the park and comb the area keeping it free from problems. As was a new trait, Phact had taken to bringing a book to read as she waited for Sabine to join her. The hazards of a noisy roommate.

Once the two had met up, the plan was to have picked a direction and spend a few hours 'hunting' before turning in for the night.

That HAD been the plan.

All of that changed when both senshi had the feeling that sent them flying in the direction of the same feeling they had felt only several nights before. This time it had not disappeared. This time they could follow it...

This time they were not alone.

When Phact finally came to a stop, she couldn't help gaze around at all those who joined. Everyone of them was order...every one but the clocked figure Phact quickly took to be a royal was glaring at. Lord she hoped quickly he was not trying to be a political peace keeper.

And then came the words that made her start. on our planet The source was someone she had seen once before...the youma train if she remembered correctly. What had she picked up on...

"Sabine, stay close. I don't like what we are dealing with. Why is it only drawing us..." That was when her eyes began to really scan the every growing crowds. There were faces she was looking for...ones that she knew she could always count on should the worst happen

An ordinary evening, indeed.

Or maybe not. An ordinary evening would have found her out alone, or at home anxiously waiting for Valhalla to return from one of his own solitary patrols. Tonight they were out together. It was what had become of their date nights recently. Instead of a romantic dinner or an evening spent curled up together watching a movie, they would go out together in their powered forms and patrol, or visit Ganymede, or Valhalla, looking for a way to fix a broken starseed—an answer Ganymede was beginning to think they would never find.

It was as they were making their way home that she felt it, a strange aura that was neither Chaos nor Order. She stopped in her tracks and glanced over her shoulder as if she expected to see someone there. Of course there was no one, but... somewhere... not too far away... she was sure there was something.

“Do you feel that?” she said. She grabbed Valhalla by the arm to stop him.

It was a stupid question. With the damage done to his starseed, Valhalla could no longer sense auras. In any case, she had not voiced the question expecting an answer. She did not even wait for one, but turned back in the direction from which they'd come.

“Come on,” Ganymede said. She motioned for him to follow.

The aura was not far. On a hill on the outskirts of the city stood an unfamiliar figure, radiating an aura that set Ganymede on edge. There were others arriving on the scene. Some she recognized; others she did not. Some asked questions; others demanded answers. Let them. She had nothing to ask of the figure that hadn't already been voiced.

Ganymede came as an Eternal. She powered up to Princess moments later. Normally she was wary of drawing the wrong kind of attention to herself, but she was more wary of this figure than she was an enemy she was already well acquainted with. She expected a fight. That always seemed to be the way of things, but she made no move to initiate contact. As of yet, there was nothing particularly threatening about the figure except for his unexplained aura.

She took Valhalla's arm again to stop him from drawing too close. They stood on the periphery, close enough to hear what was going on but far enough away for her to be able to shield him if need be.

GEVAUDAN the Knight (purified Wolframite)
Gevaudan knew a pulling signal when he felt one, but this was not Chaos. He knew Chaos, even with a new signature, and he couldn’t quiet place what this feeling was, but because so much in his life was foreign, he was drawn to it by curiosity but with his strong shield of paranoid as well.

Weird and strong were not often a good combination.

He arrived only to see a group forming, all Order, and he looked about expecting something to happen with so many of them here. It felt wrong, but then again, he wanted to be there when something did happen.

As he walked around the growing crowed, he saw a figure atop the hill, hidden in black garbs.

He stopped, staring, looking out, and recalled a time when he was of a small group.

A time when a weird presence came and told him to send Charanoite a message.

A message from a -

"…Wiseman?" He whispered, eyes wide and looking out.

No. That – wasn't right. It would have felt worse if that was the case, and he gripped his chest from the rapid heartbeat that had spiked from the memory. The memory of an entire Negaverse team being broken and torn to shreds in front of him.

Instead, this was just another person. Another force. For all he knew, it was some leader of theirs. Was this typical of their meetings.

He looked about, trying to find someone who can answer him, but as he drew closer to the group, they all seemed just as confused.

While he wasn't sure of their standings, he saw Thraen as the only familiar face in the group thus far, and moved just close enough to be heard by him. "Who is it?" He asked.

What was up with being FAR away and ON A HILL?! He was WAY too old for this. The only reason he usually exerted himself to this extent was to get something out of it - food or otherwise.

But even he couldn't ignore the message to actually do his job and get to the strange feeling that made his tail puff.

Finding a familiar smell, he moved up to Castor and pawed at him, wanting picked up. It was easier to see that way.

"Hello, Castor." He, staring up at him hopefully.
