Please feel free to continue in the previous thread as needed to wrap up and/or hit word count for your reqs!
For the purposes of this post, you can have your characters start either on the bridge itself or at line 15.
As the party gathers at the end of the bridge connecting the Primordial Tower to the rest of the palace complex, a mechanical whirring is audible as it reverberates through the cavern. At the base of the tower characters see a rough door set into the wall, an inverted triangle bisected by a horizontal line gouged into its surface. Though it might once have been accessible, it seems as though the tower’s defenses have created a barrier.
A group of strange constructs have turned their attention to the newcomers. Some of the unusual automata resemble humanoids constructed from stained glass, each supported by a deceptively delicate looking golden framework. Within the machine’s chests, glowing spheres are visible, likely the mechanism that powers them. Each construct has a golden weapon at the end of each arm: a wickedly curved blade on one and a clublike appendage on the other.
Small, floating constructs resembling fat bees made of shining, pale golden metal and held aloft by wings reminiscent of stained glass flit among their larger comrades. Unlike their humanoid counterparts, these oddities bear no obvious weaponry.
Before they can make their purpose or intentions any clearer, several more of the machines appear, descending the ramp with an apparent interest in putting a stop to any incursion.
Clearly determined to protect this sacred place at all costs, the constructs advance on the assembled group.
Please post this form at the beginning of each battle post

Tempesti felt her cheeks pinkening at the knight’s (Paradise’s) encouragement, it was difficult to allow herself any real satisfaction until the tower was restored and no one was injured too badly. There was very little she wasn’t willing to do to ensure both of those outcomes. “Thank you, I’m so incredibly grateful for the support.” A smile cracked her anxiety, it was nice to imagine brushing aside the dangers with optimism and with their numbers that didn’t seem impossible.
“Alright, alright. We’re doing this.” Squaring her shoulders, she sprinted toward the nearest construct.” “Harrowing Storm!”

Character: Super Grieve of the Collapse Location: H15 - H12 HP: 75 Target:Human Construct 2 Action: trying something: pulling open the chest panel: Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: Enemy HP: 50
Looking at the beauty and craftsmanship of the ******** robots, Grieve couldn't help but grimace. In her, honestly ********' vast, experience in dealing with humanoid tech, the finer the work the more of a pain they could be to deal with. The roboMau on Urania for example. Give her a blocky-a** dumpsterbot to fight any day,
She didn't want waste her magic here either. but how punchable were they? Not all metals punched the same! But Tempesti had mentioned panels, though not how to ********' actually open them.
"Alright, gonna try and open a can," of whoopass or whooped a** was to be seen. Turning she gave Joy and the little Kuanian a thumb's up. "If you see its guts, go all out, yeah? If you see mine...come rescue my a**!"
And with that she was dashing forward at speed, smoothly dodging one bladed limb while moving inside and under the other, one arm wrapping around it's very deceptively delicate looking length. As Grieve yanked it to move and stay behind the thing, her freed hand reached around to scramble along the torso of the construct, seeking to find violent purchase within its seams and pop it open.
Character: Joyeuse Garde Location: M13 HP: 100 Target: M12 bot (HC6) Action: Shooting a magic missile at it (forgotten spell) Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: 18 Enemy HP: ?
It did not surprise Joy at all that Grieve was both extremely hands-on and extremely quick to act, but she had no desire to emulate her, having already separated off from her in quest of something she could possibly hit without dealing splash damage to her not-quite-friend.
Tempesti had helpfully suggested they aim for the seams. It had been weeks of practice, but her aim with the whip had actually gotten pretty decent, and so it was with some satisfaction that she watched that first bolt of light make solid, punishing contact with the construct.
She did not, however, feel a similar satisfaction about their overall chances as she looked down the battlefield, and felt a distinct sensation of being Outnumbered, especially when her own blow barely seemed to stagger the thing.
Character:Cynthus, Squire of the Moon Location: Going to M12 HP: 75 Target: Humanoid Construct 6 Action: Attacking. Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: 8 Enemy HP: idk i don't have the time to wait for other posts to be filled in, sorry
“If either of you get hurt, I’m not healing you,” Cynthus warned Poe and Paradise, voice in the tone she used when she was making empty threats.
Beyond that, she didn’t waste any time on chit chat. They were all here for a reason. Might as well get on with it.
Cynthus marched to one of the nearest constructs and, after making sure she wasn’t going to put herself in the direct line of fire of anyone’s magic, she swung her crook at the stained glass humanoid person-but-not-really-a-person thing as hard as she could.

Character:Amarynthos, Knight of the Moon Location: K12 HP: ?? Target:M12 (Humanoid Construct 6) Action: Using a Forgotten Spell ; moving with Ephesus Damage Done: 10 + 4 = 14 Enemy HP: [50-14-18-8-14] 0
Much of this seemed like a guessing game, but really, it was like this--every time. There was no single solution to any problem, and Amarynthos was happy to go in and smash things when needed, or solve mysteries, or explore until they found some secret key.
Today, it looked like there was combat. But, Tempesti had said she didn't want them destroyed, hadn't she? Amarynthos probably could have just run up to the nearest one and smash it with his staff until it was a scrap heap.
...But he'd rather avoid that if he could.
Tempesti had used magic on the one she targeted, and it made sense enough to him. He could do that, too. Ephesus' hand was in his own, and he tugged his fellow Moon Knight with him. Their friends were here, and Effie's parents, so--for now at least--Amarynthos didn't feel overwhelmed or in danger. The fact that it was so beautiful here wasn't helping.
It didn't feel like anything here should be dangerous.
"I hope it's not like Astraya," he grimaced. "...Let's not stick around for long enough to find out."
Amarynthos glanced at Ephesus, gave him one good look over--a few seconds to prepare--and then he channeled a baseball sized orb of sparkling water that iced upon contact towards the nearest construct.
Quote:
Forgotten Spell - When Amarynthos swings his weapon, baseball sized orbs of sparkling water hurtle towards opponents at high speed. The water has an incredibly thin layer of ice that shatters on impact, and the chilly stings upon contact. As the water splashes onto the target, it explodes in a burst of moonlit water. Impact can create a brief flash of light but does no extra damage; players can choose to be cut by the small shards of the ice shell or just deal with a high impact ball of water. He can create three orbs and can only throw them twenty feet; beyond that, the ice will melt and the water will fall to the ground.

Character:Ephesus, Knight of the Moon Location: K12 HP: 100 Target:K9 (Humanoid Construct 4) Action: Using a Forgotten Spell and staying with Amarynthos. Damage Done: 10 + 5 Enemy HP: 50 - 15 = 35
Ephesus stumbled forward a step when Amarynthos tugged him, but he didn’t mind. He was always glad to have the reassurance of his hand in Amarynthos’, especially when the chamber was so breathtakingly strange and beautiful that it was easy to forget there were enemies there at all.
He nodded quickly at the grimace. Astraya still sat heavy in his heart, his memory a little too sharp to brush aside easily, but he did his best.
The glimmer of icy water magic made his eyes widen, and for just a moment Effie watched with quiet awe. His boyfriend always made it look so effortless. Then he shook himself and straightened himself, gripping tightly to the golden honeydipper in his other hand. They were supposed to help, weren’t they? And Tempesti had said not to destroy. So… sticky, but not broken. That seemed reasonable.
“Okay, um… I’ll try too,” he said quickly, and then he swung his scepter out. The orbs that shimmered into existence were golden, syrupy spheres that smelled like honey, then were sent sailing toward the next closest construct that Amarynthos hadn’t already hit, his aim determined but not cruel.
He bit his lip and winced when the globs hit their mark. “Sorry,” he whispered toward the construct, even as the honey splattered across its limbs. Because maybe, even for constructs, being trapped felt terrible.
Instinctively, he glanced over his shoulder toward his parents. His throat tightened a bit and he straightened up as if to prove he wasn’t scared. He could be useful. He had to be.
So he lifted his chin just a fraction higher as he pretended his stomach wasn’t twisting, and gave Amarynthos’ hand a firmer squeeze.
Quote:
Powered Passive: When Ephesus is feeling hopeful and at peace, his freckles and hair will start to shimmer as if kissed by moonlight. This is subtle and does not offer enough light for Ephesus to see in the dark, but others may be able to see him. Those in close proximity to him while his passive ability is active may feel more at peace, or feel like it is safer for them to relax. If he is stressed or upset, the shimmering stops until he has calmed again.
Forgotten Spell - Orbs of honey are launched at an opponent, creating a sticky, sweet smelling mess that will last until whoever is covered in the mess powers down. It will wash away with water if it lands on anything non-magic. Three uses and the opponent must be within twenty feet of Ephesus.
Sessrumnir exhaled, steady and deliberate, when the first wave of attacks went out across the bridge. He’d been on enough battlefields to know hesitation was the surest way to regret later. And Tempesti had been clear -- they were to disable, not destroy. The constructs were already shifting. He adjusted his grip on his stormglass, grounding himself.
“I’ll hold its attention,” he said, loud enough for Alastor and Solaris to hear over the noise of fighting around them. There was a quiet tone of confidence of someone who was used to a battlefield and what to expect. He held out his stormglass and the wind howled, sudden and sharp. Rain came down in a heavy curtain, enough to sting. The area around them was shuttered with thundercrash and lightning from the storm.
Sessrumnir held steady, an anchor in the downpour. The opportunity for Alastor and Solaris to attack was there. As much as he wanted to, his eyes remained on their target. Still, he was determined not to let them slip beyond his reach.
Quote:
Knight Magic: Magic pool of 45 seconds. A thunderstorm erupts within twenty feet of Sessrumnir with a fifteen foot radius, and is heaviest around the immediate area where the magic is directed. Those affected by the magic will experience impaired vision and hearing due to the intense rain, wind, and occasional flash of lightning and crash of thunder. Movement is slowed due to the storm conditions, with the rain and wind being strong enough to knock someone off balance. Effects of the vision and hearing impairment can last longer, depending on player desire. While in the magic, targets can be struck by non-lethal lightning strikes capable of causing a sharp burning or stinging sensation at player discretion, but these strikes can cause lasting burns and other physical impairments depending on player desire. Once the magic ends, the area remains wet, but will dry quicker than natural.

Character:Lucien - Human Form Location: M12 HP: 50 Target:M12 (Humanoid Construct 4) Action: Shifting from Mauvian to Humanoid form. Trying to remove the core from the KOed Construct. Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: N/A Enemy HP: 0
Lucien leapt from Alastor’s shoulder with grace, landing lightly. His form blurred and he stretched, shifting into his humanoid form, tall and sleek as if he’d never been a cat at all. Except for the ears that twitched and tail that swished behind him. He straightened his sleeve as though appearances even mattered.
“No, thank you,” he said with confidence, taking a step back from the magic Sessrumnir was casting. “I have no interest in ruining silk at the moment. I will observe.”
And he did just that, watching the constructs with sharp eyes, noting their cores in the chests of the humanoid constructs. He knelt down to inspect the one that had been disabled nearby, nodding with approval to the young Knights and others who had immobilized it.
“They are not immune, but they are resilient. Strike at the seams. Target the power sources if possible,” he said, cool and calculating, but his eyes narrowed with curiosity. Maybe with a little less caution than he should, he reached out to try and remove the core from the fallen construct’s chest.

Character Name:Eternal Sailor Alastor, Senshi of Despair Location: N12 HP: 100 Target:N11 (Bee Construct 4) Action: Following Sessrumnir and attacking with Super Magic Damage Done: 10 + 8 Enemy HP: 20-19-18 = 0
Alastor needed little instruction; he had kept Tempesti's instructions in mind, aware that she wanted as little damage as possible provided it didn't come at the expense of safety. They weren't yet sure what these constructs could do but Tempesti bore the damage she'd taken from something, so he knew they were dangerous.
Trouble enough to ask for help.
He had no intention of taking the constructs lightly, or minimize their purpose here. Lucien jumped off of his shoulder, so that was free reign to run into--well, close to--danger.
He followed Sessrumnir, mostly because he didn't want the Knight to divide his attention further. Undoubtedly, he was already busy keeping his eye on his mother and son, just the same as Alastor was. He'd watch Sessrumnir's back, and Sessrumnir could watch Alastor's.
So, shortly after Sessrumnir unleased his magic, Alastor targeted the same construct with some of his own.
Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Absence
Alastor speaks the name of his attack and every enemy nearby will feel a complete absence of hope, replaced instead with a strong sensation of despair. The area feels thick with gloom and misery and targets may feel as if there is suddenly an unbeatable obstacle they have no chance to overcome. Targets may feel absolute hopelessness and they may become acutely aware of the hardships and loss in their life. The magic can make someone feel fatigued or physically exhausted and can be disorienting and emotionally draining. The magic lasts for thirty five seconds and has two uses. It affects all enemies within a twelve foot radius of Alastor and the magic will follow him if he moves, but the effects end if the character moves out of radius.

Character:[x] Niflhel Knight of Saturn Location: I15 -> I12 (Updated I accidentally had the wrong spot that I wanted) HP: 100 Target: Construct 2 (H2) Action: Attempting to join Grieve & Co - channeling his magic on the construct to try and hold it still for Grieve. Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: Trying to hold the construct still Enemy HP: 50
Niflhel was watching the constructs and when others started heading to take out the constructions He moved towards the one that didn't have quite a large mob and aimed his meteor hammer at the robot thing.
He saw someone yellow go after the construct too and he looked, "Mind if I lend you all a hand?" He said as he watched the bladed arm hoping it didn't actually hit the other, "I should be able to keep the blade under control while you try to pop it open or whatever you want to do."
No sooner than he said that he aimed his meteor hammer for the arm with the blade and aimed to wrap around the construct's arm in order to better keep it still. There was a grin as he did this, and then he decided to add onto it and channel his magic hoping it only hit the construct and not anyone else. If he was lucky the thing wouldn't be able to move much.

Niflhel's magic in spoiler
Niflhel channels his magic into his single headed meteor hammer and upon channeling his magic the area around him begins to change. The area around Niflhel in a 20-foot area shows the illusion of a dark misty world and causes those inside the area feel as if they have died and ended up in a strange underworld left to wander. The longer an enemy is trapped in this illusion, the colder they will get. Their muscles may tense, as if going into rigor mortis, and they may find it difficult to move. They may feel building aches and pains, or an extremely unpleasant hollowness, as though not only have their bodies died but also their spirit. This can be incredibly disorienting and painful. This attack can last up to 60 seconds but players can choose to have lasting hollowness or aches and pains. Length of chain is 6 foot.
Character:[x] Cardinal, Senshi of the Uktena Location: O15 -> O12 HP: 50 Target: Construct 7 (O5) Action: aiming at construct 4 Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: Debuff (1d6) Enemy HP:50
Cardinal wasn't sure where to go or who to follow so she took off on a path that seemed less traveled. There were already several constructs down, and there were also some that were trying to dismantle the constructs.
She couldn't say she had an idea of what she was doing but Cardinal set off towards one that was a bit further back hoping that she could perhaps use her magic to blind it and slow it down so they could get the surprise on it. After all it seemed that the area was more densely populated up a head and they needed to probably spread out there or try and get them to funnel so they didn't get surrounded by the whole gaggle.
She summoned her attack and hoped it would cover far enough - though she some how doubted it would actually reach. Since it was more than ten foot away from her.
tab Uktena's Shine
When Cardinal calls this attack an illusion of the Uktena appears behind where Cardinal is standing. The gem on her tiara then gives off a dazzling light that temporarily leaves her opponents seeing spots if they look directly at her.
This attack lasts for 30 seconds and can be used 3 times. This attack effects those opponents that are 10 foot (cone radius) in front of Cardinal. Usually, the spots seen from the light after the attacks ends are also gone, but could last longer and be distracting if a player so wishes.

Character:Poe, Page of Mercury Location: M12 HP: 50 Target: N/A Action: Observing since the enemies are KOed in his area. Damage/Healing/Buff/Debuff Done: N/A Enemy HP: N/A
Poe fell back a little, keeping himself near Cynthus without crowding her, letting her take the lead against the construct while keeping a careful watch on the others. He offered her a nod and a subtle thumbs-up.
“See that?” he practically preened with pride, his voice low enough that only she could hear. “Not a scratch on you. Strong, precise… practically perfect in every way. You definitely get that from me.” And not her garbage human of a mother.
He let himself relax just a little as he glanced around. Ephesus, Amarynthos, Tempesti, and the other Senshi and Knights were all working together, each attack calculated. The tower’s guardians might be tough, but they stood no chance against the capable hands of those who had joined to help.
Paradise’s smile didn’t falter as she kept her arm linked with Poe’s, although her eyes were looking from one Senshi or Knight to the next. She gave an approving nod towards Ephesus, Amarynthos, Tempesti, and even the Earth Knight she didn’t know who was shooting magic at the constructs and helping them all out.
“You’re all so incredible,” she called to them, bright and warm. “Strong and smart and brave. Look at how coordinated everyone is. And those spells! Wow, Tempesti. That storm is amazing! Effie, Mary, you’re both doing great!”
She glanced over to Sessrumnir and Alastor as well, giving both a quick, cheerful nod. “You’re both so steady, it makes everyone else look even better!” They were definitely in good hands. Her tone was gentle and encouraging, but there was also confidence behind it. She wasn’t just saying it because she thought it was something they needed to hear -- she really believed they were doing great.
“And Cynthus,” she turned to her niece then. “Don’t think I didn’t see that! Amazing work!” She gave a cheerful twirl and clapped her hands with encouragement. “Alright, team! Keep going!”
Her humor had a time and place. The moment Solaris stepped off the bridge, the jovial nature was replaced with a harder, sharper persona. Mainly… because it was more than just her skin in the game. Levity could return when a perceived threat was gone. She at least respected the unknowns of the constructs that much.
Though….
"Pft--!"
A smile broke through briefly at how swiftly Sessrumnir and Alastor had taken out the bee construct the Knight had caged in a downpour. So much for that target.
Her gaze flickered across the field, noting the large distances between the various groups and the bulk of the constructs. The closest were already being handled, or beyond her reach-- aha. One stood a bit ahead of Ephesus, and close enough for at least one of her magics.
Raising her hand and snapping her fingers into a gun, she watched as the resulting spark ignited into a small golden orb of energy, the condensed thing immediately shooting out towards the construct.
...she made a bit of a face, though, to see the magic didn't hold quite the punch she'd wanted.

Quote:
Catalytic Combustion She points her fingers with one hand like a 'gun' to direct her magic at a target. Snapping those fingers, Solaris creates a spark that stays in front of her hand. This spark is the catalyst for a rapidly growing flood of energy to pool into an expanding, fuzzy ball in front of her hand. It maxes out in size of about 3 inches diameter (the size of a baseball). This ball of golden, condensed light and energy then shoots out towards the target Solaris' pointer finger is directed at. The ball can travel up to fifteen feet before exploding and dispersing, even if it hasn't hit a target by that point. Anyone hit by the ball itself, or the resulting explosion, are subject to blunt force damage and rapid, high heat when the ball explodes that last for only five seconds. The extent of the damage is up to the player, at minimum should cause moderate bruising, and slight blistering on exposed skin from the heat. Solaris can use this magic up to two times a day.
