He got the contact information from Soleiyu. Reached out to meet Mont Saint Michel at a location near the building they were keeping Jet. And the Void. With Oberon’s concern that there was something else lurking around the building, possibly a youma that might bring attention to the building’s location, Sessrumnir knew it was time to call in some back up.
“I heard from Soleiyu that you might be interested in helping us,” Sessrumnir greeted, cutting right to the point and skipping any small talk about the weather (it was snowy and cold) or how holidays were (they ended poorly, but that had been expected, as well as the strange loss he felt).
The necklace he wore pulsed at a steady pace. There was nothing concerning about it, and it kept Sessrumnir focused on the task at hand. Which was making sure Jet remained their captive while they worked on securing and possibly replicating the Void.
“We’ve got over half a dozen of us looking for Lysithea, and keeping an ear out for any information on her,” he offered, figuring it was only fair that they give Mont Saint Michel something in return for his help.

It hadn’t taken much convincing to get Michel to come. Desperation could make a person do just about anything, and if he could extend a bit of effort to secure half a dozen people looking for Lysithea, he’d take it. Especially if it meant doing something that could weaken the Negaverse. Destroy it, preferably, but he’d take anything.
Michel was stiff and sore and bruised and healing, but he didn’t look like any of that was going to slow him down. He didn’t look happy to be here, but it didn’t appear as if he were angry, either. He was tired, probably, and it seemed like he’d just abandoned social protocol that demanded he be polite and courteous.
Manners weren’t going to get him anywhere.
“Thanks,” he said, because even if he wasn’t jumping for joy, he was grateful to have others looking for her, too. People who could take care of themselves.
“He mentioned you were up to something. Didn’t give me a lot of details.” Probably an excuse to force him to figure it out himself, but. He was here, so it didn’t matter. “What do you need help with?”

“We need help guarding a device that stops the use of all magic and teleportation. Possibly even replicating it to spread throughout the city,” Sessrumnir quickly explained. If he was upset by Michel’s demeanor, he didn’t show it. If anything, he was looking pretty aggravated about the whole thing, too. He didn’t like how dangerous it was. One wrong move and the Negaverse would know what they were up to.
“Princess Ganymede is available to do purifications if any Negaverse agents want to take advantage of the safety net. We’re hoping to draw out more. We had one, but he got spooked at the last minute because a General named Jet showed up to… probably kill him.”
Sessrumnir had no idea what Jet had planned on doing with Cymophane. But killing him seemed to be the go-to for people in the Negaverse who wanted purification.
“We have Jet held hostage right now, to make sure the device works. It’s old. The previous Valhalla had been working on it before he died a thousand years ago. We recovered what was left of it and pieced it together and it works. We just can’t risk letting Jet escape while we figure out how to get it to only affect those who are infected with Chaos.”

The names meant nothing to him, he didn’t know Jet or Valhalla or Ganymede. He wasn’t sure if he could care, but he supposed it was good to have a Princess around. He knew Cosmos but only because she’d been there for his own purification. He didn’t think that information was worth sharing though, so he kept it to himself.
He nodded along as Sessrumnir spoke because the plan at least made sense. It was easy, it was straight forward.
It could be useful. It could be powerful.
He didn’t really need much more of an explanation than that.
“All right. I can do that.”
Sounded easy enough. The best case scenario, no one showed up. Worst case scenario, he get to take out some of this frustration. He wouldn’t have to go looking for the Negaverse, they’d just come to him.
“When?”

“Whenever you’re available. The sooner the better. Some of the others think it’s worth keeping this General alive, but I don’t share their opinion. Too much of a liability,” he said with a low growl, still unhappy about the situation they were in. There was something off about the whole thing. The more help they could get, the better.
“We think there might be a youma lurking around the building where we have the Void and the General in. But we can’t feel it, obviously. Could use the help locating it.” And if need be, they could have Ganymede use her magic to get rid of it completely.
“I’ll send you the location to your ring,” he said then, not wanting to write it down on paper for it to get lost.

“Sounds good.”
It was as simple as that; Michel didn’t need to know the finer details of things, he just needed to know what they wanted him to do, where to do it, and when to get started. All he needed for motivation was the promise to do something.
Anything that would get him one step closer to her.
“I’m ready, any time. Probably sooner rather than later. You’re playing with fire keeping that General around. The longer you have him, the longer they have to find him.”
Especially if they were keeping him here in Destiny City.
He wasn’t worried about it, it wasn’t his plan. Helping wasn’t going to do anything worse to the reputation he’d developed, and if a few Agents got lost along the way, well.
Good.
He was tired of playing nice, anyway.
