The most important thing at the moment was to put as much space between them and any encroaching players from the Chaos side. Sessrumnir now had two greenhorn magical girls to keep out of trouble, and without access to proper medical supplies, he would just have to put their safety ahead of his own need to take care of his wound.
"My name is Sessrumnir. This symbol, if you didn't know, is Jupiter," he indicated, turning just enough to show them the fancy looking four on his tunic. "All knights are decorated with symbols from where they hail from. Senshi sometimes have symbols too, but since they're the only one, usually, from their homeworld, it's not always obvious."
After a few more minutes of putting space between them and where their fight had been, he stopped. They were over a mile away from where they'd started, but with the speed they gained from being magical, it didn't take very long. It was a rooftop in an unpopulated area on the outskirts of the city. Still public enough for the girls to flee should they feel the need to, but private enough for them to have their conversation in peace.
"Now... who are you?"

Varuna remained close to the young woman's side as they followed the Squire through the city in search for somewhere to talk, but the farther they got from where they started, the more Varuna wondered if this guy was just leading them around, stalling...
For what, she didn't know, but it made her cling tighter to the girl she also didn't trust, but she knew she could relate to her more than she could this man. She already felt a bit protective over this girl, and felt as though she owed her a lot more than just keeping her safe. She'd seen her civilian self, after all.
Once they had finally come to a place to stop, Varuna was the first to speak up, stepping protectively in front of the Page, despite being out of breath, her energy drained from using her attack too much. "Varuna, Senshi of Avalanches," she said proudly, knowing she had a long way to go to reach his level of power, but she was doing her best.

He could be stalling, or just wandering aimlessly and leading them on like sheep for the fun of it, she wouldn't put it past anyone to do such a thing. The whole while she kept close to the senshi at her side. Every so often her pale eyes would look to the girl, trying to read what she might be thinking. She couldn't read the other knight, since his back was facing her, but she certainly wished this came would end and he would stop.
When they stopped she watched the blond step forward - in front of her. She had a name and..something else to go with the girl. She wouldn't forget it, she wouldn't permit herself to. For a moment she hesitated before stepping up to the blonds side. "Delphi." She didn't know of what planet, as she really wasn't thinking of that, and what symbol decorated her? I mean perhaps the star like symbol? It did seem to be in various places on her uniform; it really was nice looking actually.
She still didn't know how they'd gotten to a rooftop, she hadn't really been paying attention to the trip up to the rooftop, she really needed to get a grip on things and focus. "How are senshi the only one...but knights aren't? We don't have homeworlds of our own, than what do we have?" She asked not sure how there was a difference, as it seemed there was. After all they all came from somewhere else, or so he was saying, and they each had a symbol of their own.

Sessrumnir nodded to the senshi at her introduction, her sphere making a lot of sense for the amount of snow she had created on the ground back in the alley. But when the new Page spoke up, he shook his head with a frown. “Delphi of what?” he prompted, tugging at the sleeve of his tunic that was now stuck to his arm with drying blood. “You’re not just Delphi. You know you’re not. I’m not just Sessrumnir, she’s not just Varuna. Delphi is only part of your name. Close your eyes and really listen and you’ll know.”
It wasn’t easy, suddenly being a magical being without any clue as to what was going on or what would happen or if things would ever be okay again... But she needed to realize things wouldn’t get easier if she tried to ignore parts of who she now was.
As for why there was only one senshi from each wonder and there could be multiple knights...
“Don’t know. I’m not the one who makes this s**t up, I’m just telling you what I know. You don’t have a homeworld, exactly, but you do have your Wonder. On Jupiter, Sessrumnir was a library or college... a place people went to learn and share knowledge. Every Wonder is different, just like every senshi is different.”Varuna lowered her eyes as the two of them spoke, not wanting to interrupt or cause any kind of frustration with her presence. As long as this woman, Delphi, was okay, then she would be okay. She would remain with her until she was informed enough to keep her out of danger, and then... if they never crossed paths again, perhaps Delphi would still think of her kindly.
She knew very little about knights, anyway... so the more she learned here, the better off she would be. Mention of going to another planet made her wonder when she should go to her own. What would be there? Would anything be there...? She went to the moon the night she’d awoken, but other than that...

She wanted to ignore it - all of it. But she also wanted answers. It was a tug of war game and she really wanted out of it. But then she wanted answers now. It wasn't a position she'd ever found herself in before, not to the extent she did now. It wasn't a position she wanted to be in either. If she had her way this whole...war wouldn't be. Everything would be peaceful like it had been when she'd grown up.
Doing as the older, and more experienced, knight said she took her time. This wasn't anything she was used to and her thoughts were scattering all about, questions and ideas, thoughts and emotions, all over the place. Finally she had an answer and purple eyes opened, when had they closed? "Polaris." Came the answer finally. So they had wonders...places not a whole world. So it was like a destination or sight seeing location would be here. Ok, so now she had that sorted out in her head.
And this place could be anything from the sound of it, what would hers be? She knew what Delphi was in the ancient world but would it be the same elsewhere? Did it have to be? "Delphi in the ancient world was a place of prophecy...would it be that else where?" She asked, wanting to know what she could.
Her hand searching for the blond females hand and grasping it, holding tightly. She wanted the blond to remain here - at her side.

Sessrumnir’s eyebrows raised curiously as Delphi revealed that she was a knight from Polaris. Unless he was seriously mistaken, there was a senshi named Polaris... that princess who’d all but demanded attention at the meeting before they were ambushed... and not demanded in a way that came with respect, but he was doing his best to look past that. These people were mostly children, after all. There was nothing wrong with that, but they had hardly enough life experience to be able to know how to carry themselves.
“There you go. A lot of it works like that, actually. If you’re confused about something, you can usually look into your own heart or soul or whatever the hell you want to call it, and draw out the information. Don’t do it now, but if you ever want to go to Polaris, to Delphi... you just need to repeat the oath to your Wonder... it should come naturally when you’re ready.”
A piece of his clothing was torn and he used it to press against the wound he’d received from the Nega brat, holding it tightly to his upper arm as he continued to try and explain. “It could be almost anything... Sessrumnir in Norse mythology was the hall of Freya. Warriors were taken by Valkyries to Valhalla when they died in war, but the rest... artists, medics, craftsmen... they were taken to Sessrumnir,” he explained, having had to do a bit of research himself to find out just what Sessrumnir was. “On Jupiter... Sessrumnir is... was... a college. Sort of. It was a place where people went to discuss philosophy, theology, politics, science...”
He didn’t want to tell her what it might be, not wanting to get ideas in her head only for it to be wrong and have her disappointed, but he wanted to at least give her an idea of the differences of myth and reality. She held tightly to Delphi’s hand, looking not at the older knight, but at this young woman’s face, watching as she closed her eyes and discovered one piece at a time about who she was and what was happening.
Although she didn’t know much about her, she was impressed of how well Delphi was taking all of this... Varuna had been scared when Kallichore had found her and helped her understand what was going on. She hadn’t been as strong as Delphi. She’d cried and clung to Kallichore as if that act alone would save her.
Instead, she held tight to the hand holding hers, hoping that the tiny bit of contact she could offer would be enough to keep this young, brave woman grounded in her self discovery.

An oath...No, she wouldn't think about that now. Let her do that another time, far from now. She had no wish to leave Earth right now. And the idea of somewhere that far away wasn't all that attractive to the dark haired woman, she really didn't consider herself young enough to be a girl anymore.
"I see. So mythology has nothing to do with what it might be elsewhere." And yet she couldn't picture the name Delphi associated with something else - being something else. And yet she was sure it was something else. Finally her pale eyes caught sight of the injury, and the torn fabric being used as something of a makeshift bandage. "You should get that looked at, your injured." And it could have been her instead.
The others hand holding onto her own did help, it kept her from running, as she took in what was going on and being told to her. Brave she wasn't but she was stubborn and wasn't going to let on to how much some of this bothered her, uneased her, as this was all something she didn't want a part of. This whole thing was destroying the city and was all perpetrated by terrorists. But for the sake of the blond she didn't use that word, not around her.
"So I can learn a lot of this on my own then?"

”It’ll be fine, it’s just a scratch,” he insisted, glancing over his arm as he continued applying pressure to the cut. He’d certainly had a lot worse than this before. Dealing with close range, bladed weapons was a lot more preferable to torpedos and air strikes.
Sessrumnir hesitated when she asked if she could learn it on her own, not wanting to give her any kind of false expectations. “No,” he said eventually, deciding it was more worthwhile for her to hear. “As someone who has kept to themselves most of their powered career, you can only learn about yourself as much as the effort you put into it. Research your name, figure out your weapon, visit your Wonder... that’s about all you can do by yourself. The rest comes from observation and interaction with others.”
It wouldn’t be easy and he knew that, but the best way for new knights and senshi to survive was to keep low and learn from others. “Don’t be stupid,” he advised, “Run if you sense a chaotic power stronger than your own. And even if they’re on equal ground, power-wise, don’t underestimate anyone... including yourself.” Varuna kept hold of the woman’s hand, looking only over her shoulder at Sessrumnir when he kept changing what he was telling them. Could they learn things on their own or not? And while she would admit that some of what he said made sense, her own stubborn desire to keep to herself was outweighing his opinion.
The senshi tugged gently on the knight’s hand, trying to get her to move away from the older man. She’d heard enough and wanted to go now. As much as he spoke about chaos and the power of others, the less she wanted to remain in such a close group of like-powered individuals. What if they attracted others? What if that General came back?
Deep plum eyes stared imploringly into Delphi’s, hoping she would feel the same way. If they needed to figure things out, then they could do it on their own, and without this man’s help, right? Yes, he’d saved them from being hurt, but... she was still hesitant to trust him.

"Your sure? I mean...I don't doubt you've dealt with worse. But that can't be good either." She said nodding her head to indicate the currant wound. Would she have to deal with this? Wounds, bleeding...scars? Was she going to become this blasé? Because she saw this as being just that.
"I see..." So she couldn't keep to herself, as she had hoped, and she would need to work with others. Who to trust though? She didn't think she could trust everyone, or maybe anyone really. She didn't like that idea at all, it didn't sit well with the dark haired girl. She didn't say this of course; didn't seem like the right thing to say now.
"I'll underestimate myself a lot - I'm no fighter." She answered while casting a look to the blond at her side. Catching the girls looks, and gentle hand tugs, she looked back to the knight - a fellow knight. And smiled every so slightly. "We should be going. Thank you again...and get your arm seen to." She hoped he did, she didn't like the idea of someone being hurt because of her - that didn't sit well with her at all.(Sorry on slowness, and I think we can finish here or if you wanna post once more.)
