"I want some." It was a relatively simple, and surprisingly short on words, request from a tiny HImalayan that trotted at the feet of a Knight. Her peppermint-swirl goggles were perched above her ears, as they were not exactly moving for speed, and her teal eyes followed the food as it traveled to and from said Knight's mouth. Without even a crumb spared for the poor, tired, hungry kitty. "Sessrumnir... Sess, come ooooon, I want some! It takes a lot of energy to keep up with you and all the other members of the team, and the only thing I had for lunch was a can of delicious salmon, which is a pretty hard meal to beat come to think of it, but I'm hungry and it smells goooood, let me have soooome." Horatio hopped up onto his shoulder and reached for the item in his hands. "Pleeeeease? Feed the hungry kitty! We're team members, right? Team members share!"

It seemed so inane and awkward, but Red Cliff really had to pee, and even with his knightly speed, he was not sure he could make it home in time. Especially if he ran into something nasty on the way. The thought had crossed his mind that he could just go in some dark corner or something, but his personal standards and low threshold for embarrassment were not about to just let him do that out in public.
Showing up in a late night snack shop to use the restroom while in his page garb also seemed really silly, but Red Cliff determined it to be the best course of action. He had a couple dollars change stuffed into his uniform pocket, and he had never known why he did it until now. He could take care of business and then be a customer as required and get something to eat when he was done.
And, you know, hope that the shop proprietor would not flip out and think he was a terrorist or something.
Fortunately things went alright - the red-haired boy tried to look as casual as possible as he walked into the late-night diner and asked where the restrooms were. That taken care of, he returned to the front counter and scrutinized the pies in the refrigerator case, doing his level best to ignore the stares of the handful of other patrons and staff in the place. He defaulted to a slice of chocolate mousse cake, not wanting to linger too long over the cake and risk luring anything bad into the store.
He paid for the cake and left, relaxing as soon as he was back outside and away from everyone gawking at him. At least it had all gone well: no trouble, he felt better, and on top of it all, he had a piece of cake. Red Cliff headed down an alleyway nearby to eat it, but paused as he heard an insistent voice somewhere nearby but out of sight.
He recognized the name, though he barely remembered Sussrumnir from their last meeting. Still, it seemed a sign that the owner of the voice would be friendly.
"Uhh, hello?"

”Who said I was part of your damn team?” Sessrumnir grunted and held the piece of pizza out of reach of the cat, or at least as far as he could manage. He wasn’t against knocking her off his shoulder if she kept bothering him. “How do you even know me??” he hissed.
The answer of how the obnoxious cat even knew who he was went unfinished as a somewhat familiar voice caught his attention, and with it an unmistakable knight’s aura. “Hey, I remember you,” he said, as if trying to recall exactly when the last time they’d crossed paths. “Red… Hills…?” he shrugged, shaking his arm to hopefully detach the cat from him.
“No rest for the weary, huh?” he wondered as he nodded to the cake in the knight’s hand, ignoring any whining from the cat. For all he cared, the cat had wandered off to dig in the dumpsters. “What are you up to these days? Staying away from youma, I hope.”Asashi Kumoru Ugh, maybe I should actually pay attention to my own tags. DX Quicksilver the Archangel

The goggle-wearing feline chuffed, her paws stretching out as far as they could for the prize that dangled out of her reach. She was nothing if not persistent and she was going to get that pizza. Even if it meant sputtering the whole time at her companions' words, "What do you mean, 'how do I know you'? Uh, hello, Jovian cat here. Jupiter people are my business. ... besides, I know Val, and Val knows you, so I know you too!" Then the page came along and all focus was drawn towards him. Nothing annoyed Horatio more than being ignored. She needed, craved, attention, and most of the time people were happy to provide. After all, she was cute, and playful, and who wouldn’t want to listen to her chat or get caught up in a game of tag? She did not wait for Sessrumnir to shake her off, although a game of cling-to-the-Knight had a certain appeal to it. She leapt down of her own volition, flicking her tail back in an effort to smack her pizza-hording companion with her checkered flag. She'd show him. If he was going to be a grump, she'd just go find another friend. And one was already there and waiting for her! Although she had been pestering the Jupiter Knight for his pizza, she made no effort to take the newcomer's dessert. She just wasn't in the mood for sweet. The cream-colored Mauvian rubbed up against the one called 'Red Hills' and mewled, "Hi! I'm Horatio. You saved me from Super Sour here, so I'm going to hang out with you, okay? Whatcha doin'? Something fun? I like fun!"
