HOW THIS RP WILL WORK
This is going to run in a slightly different format from usual mod-guided RPs -- in short, you will be able to learn more about what's going on here by interacting with the setting. If you've ever played a text adventure game, this will be kind of like that!
After each moderator post, you may include suggestions in your post about what you would like to see next. This can take the form of a character taking some sort of action (e.g. attempting to investigate a nearby object or doing something to it, and so on) or even just your character wondering or wishing about something they want to know more about. The suggestion part of your post must be typed IN BOLD, and please keep it to ONE suggestion per post! The next mod post will incorporate some of the suggestions players have posted as a way to reveal things and direct the story.
You do not have to be directly quoted for an observation to apply to your character! Everything that has been posted from this mule is intended to be stuff that any character can notice and work with in their next post and suggestion.
Please keep in mind that this RP is KNIGHTS ONLY! Sorry, but other character classes can't make appearances here.
In addition to this, please be aware that your Knight is not aware that anyone else is around yet. This will change soon, but for now everyone should believe they are alone!
Feel free to join in at any time! You are welcome to backtrack and reply to what's already happened. However, you can only give suggestions to the most recent post!
Lastly, this RP has no posting order. As such, treat is as a normal ORP. Mod posts will be as reasonably paced as possible so everyone hopefully has a chance to contribute more than once.
The adventure begins in the next post!

Once again, Anthony Darrow found himself in another strange situation that had no seeming explanation and was very, very disorienting. He grimaced and put a hand to his head, shaking both and then realizing the action was just making his muddy head feel even thicker.
He grunted and got to his feet. Had he been off them?
No, he hadn't. The sensation of coming into himself restored the feeling into his legs and arms, but he realized he had never been laying down. He was standing, and there was nothing. It occurred to him then that he had no idea where he had come from, or even what he had just been doing. Had he been fighting?
Did he die?
Something in that didn't seem entirely likely. He could still feel: there was something in this blackness that called to life. All he knew that he was here, where ever this was, if it was in fact even a place. Assuming he was alone, his first instinct wasn't to call out to anyone else and of course he did not feel that very familiar urge to protect. He closed his eyes, since they weren't helping him anyway, and took a breath. Centering himself, he decided to try and walk. Hands held up in front of him blindly, Tony took a cautious step, reaching out with his hands and his feelings to find something in the strange bleak around him. If there was anything to be found.
This whole thing was very unsettling, and even that thought felt like a severe understatement.

He couldn’t see. Lian stretched out a hand to see if he could touch something, find a wall or object to use as a landmark so he could grope through the darkness. Before he could fully straighten out his arm, he stopped to think over his current situation. It was pitch black, but he couldn’t recall going into a room where it was completely dark. In fact, he didn’t know where he was or how he arrived to this befuddling location. He figured he had been doing something—what that something was he didn’t know, but it was something—before this, but he couldn’t recall how long it had been since then. Lian attempted to look around, hoping to spot some vague shapes of shadows he could walk toward. It was disorienting to be standing in the middle of nowhere, sightless. There was absolutely nothing. No sights or sounds to guide him or offer him clues about his predicament.
Lian shifted uncomfortably in his spot. While he didn’t want to move and somehow fall into a hole he couldn’t see, he was getting rather antsy too. He felt around for his phone, praying its light would offer him some insight.

Lithia_Brandon Hands held up in front of him blindly, Tony took a cautious step, reaching out with his hands and his feelings to find something in the strange bleak around him.
Orangeish Sherbet Opening her eyes as wide as they would go, Bellatrix took a few steps forward, trying to get to a spot where she could see a little better, or perhaps bump into a wall or something.
The first steps you take press into the cold ground, making you realize that you are barefoot. However, this revelation also helps you realize that ground you stand on is quite solid as well as smooth, perhaps made of some kind of polished limestone or marble. As you attempt to feel your way through your surroundings, your hands brush up against a cool stone wall. If you feel around a bit further you can also make out some sort of thick fabric, like a curtain but without any window behind it to cover.
Syusaki He felt around for his phone, praying its light would offer him some insight.
You can't find your phone, or anything else you normally keep in your pockets for that matter. As a matter of fact, you can't even locate your pockets. Your clothing fits perfectly fine, and is plenty comfortable, but it definitely doesn't seem familiar.
As your eyes adjust to the dark a bit more, you can make out a few fuzzy silhouettes of your surroundings. There's a large, long table several feet from the wall you just discovered, lined with a number of chairs. One of them is pulled and angled away from the table, giving the suggestion that you might have gotten up out of it a few minutes ago. The table is decorated with small columns of varying heights that are probably unlit candles of varying ages. You cannot make out anything more than a few feet ahead of you without light to help you, unfortunately.
What do you do?

Fritz St James was starting to believe that he was, in fact, cursed.
This was also, of course, an absurd notion, but he couldn't help but try and blame it that anyway - mostly because the alternative was blaming himself for the fact that he kept getting into these really odd situations, most of which ended rather badly. However, on occasion things had known to turn out well enough.
Hopefully this was one of them.
Rubbing the back of his neck, Fritz glanced around, his eyes seeing nothing except for a complete and utter blackness. He couldn't quite recall how he had gotten here in the first place - what had he been doing before this wide expanse of black? His memory felt fuzzy, his mind slower than usual, and Fritz frowned - an unseen expression in the dark. Everything felt...unusual, odd.
He was just simply there. There was no explanation for how or when or why. He was just there.
Fritz was standing - at least he was pretty sure he was, since his feet, at least, felt as though they were on solid ground. There was nothing covering his hands, and he if he ran his fingers along his side he could feel the cloth of his clothes, whatever they were.
Maybe he was dead.
Fritz disliked this notion, and discarded it almost immediately. That couldn't possibly be true, and he wouldn't accept it if it was, so therefore, it was not going to be the case. It would just have to be something else.
...what else? Fritz's frown increased, his brows drawing together. He folded his arms across his chest, tapping a finger against his cheek (it took him several tries to actually get this right; strange how difficult it was to find one's own body parts in complete blackness) as he looked first to his left, then to his right.
There was no chance. Fritz's hands found his hips as he glared meaningfully at the darkness, willing it to give him some sort of answer. Then he lifted his hands to his face, cupped his fingers around his mouth, and shouted cheerfully "OY! Is anyone else around?"
He wondered if he could turn Squire here, but something told him that would be not very smart at all just yet, so Fritz remained confused and very much civilian. He took a few steps forward, wanting to figure out where he was.

Layton fumbled around in the darkness, resisting the urge to cry. She was terrified of the dark, and even more so of being alone in the dark. "H-Help," she whispered, eyes wide. She tripped over her own feet and landed on the ground while backing up. It was really hard to keep from crying now.
For a while, she just sat there on the ground, terrified to even look around, but after a while her eyes adjusted and she started seeing fuzzy shapes. Scary shapes. There was a chair, and a table with candles. There was a ... some kind of curtain? Or ... Layton wasn't sure.
It seemed like the best idea was to try and light the candles. After all, things weren't so scary if it wasn't dark. Then again, candlelight could be scary too. Decisions, decisions.
She eventually gave in and started crawling towards the table. For a little while, she felt around under the table, looking for something useful.
