Most sports, Jada avoids like the plague. She is not too physically accomplished, but to feed her ego, she gives it all a go. Jada is, mostly, your typical well-bred girl. Jada tutors privately, and two days a week at the public library. Equestrianism -- Jada is an average rider for her social status; she used to be much better. She specializes in show jumping. Unfortunately, school means she now rides mostly on the weekends. She is not on the polo team at school- too much eye/hand coordination, and she doesn't have the time! She does have her own mare, a beautiful black Hanoverian about 16.2 hands, named Lady Luck. Reading -- Young Miss Chamberlyn is very close to being what is known as a bibliomaniac. It isn't what is in the book that gets her- though she has a distinct fondness for cheesy romance novels- but it is the smell of the book, and the feel of the pages rubbing along her soft fingers... It is why most of her time is in the library, and why her bookshelves are always looking to overflow. And probably why she can't keep a boyfriend. Music -- Music woos her away from everything. She can play the piano and the harp as well as sing. She has no desire to learn any additional instruments, and wind and brass instruments she has absolutely no aptitude for. She doesn't really do much with the harp anymore, but she does keep up with the piano. She will often be seen with her ipod in one ear, listening to... anything, from classical to garage bands. Exercise -- Jada loves exercise. It keeps her healthy, slender, and beautiful. She jogs, and follows along with her yoga and cardio DVDs... and her top-secret bellydance DVDs. It is also great fun to attend sports events, especially watching those rough-and-tumble sports with the Meadowview girls... Mostly because they look so cute in their outfits. She's completely helpless at most sports, so she is typically on the sidelines with a book. She also enjoys watching the boys, but their bouncing is much less amusing.

Confident -- She's beauty and she's grace, she's elegance and taste, blah blah blah. Jada is damn lucky- beautiful, wealthy, and moderately talented- and she knows it; she holds herself to show it off. She may not always dress like your stereotypical "rich girl," often liking to "slum it" in denim and a t-shirt when she isn't spending the weekend with her mother, but she always makes sure to exude class- and a sense of self-security. Graceful -- From training in dance as a child (she needs to be able to dance at those stupid parties her mother likes) and proper comportment, Jada has an excellent sense of balance. Should she miss a step, she should catch herself with minimal injury. But as every well-bred young lady knows, you always gauge the steps before you start walking down, because you should float in that gown. Book-smart -- If she doesn't know it, she has access to the library and can research it. The end. The Lioness -- Jada dislikes the thought of combat- either verbally or physically- with someone else. There are two potential negatives to a fight- 1, it is beneath her, and someone might see; 2, she might get marked up somehow, physically. But when it comes to her friends or her family, she will stand up to whoever she needs to- however she has to.

Praise-hungry -- Jada thrives on praise. She tries to be the perfect student. The perfect schoolmate. The perfect sister. The perfect girlfriend (when she has a significant other) and the perfect... everything. She keeps up on the latest trends, the latest news, and keeps herself so busy that she's never had time to truly explore her own inner feelings. Meddling -- Jada tends to want what is best for everyone. To the point that even if she is told, "Don't butt in," there is a very good chance that she will. Insecure -- Her whole life she's been pushed to excel. Mother wanting one thing for her, father wanting something else. Teachers expect great grades, friends expect that perky smile. Expectations are high, and she's desperate to please everyone. The desperation is well-hidden, as is the feeling that she is never good enough. Vain -- Jada works hard to maintain her looks. She'll work out every day, only eats the freshest foods and vegetables- her body is a temple! She gets up early every morning to make sure that her hair is absolutely perfect, her makeup is well done, and that she is completely ready for the day ahead. She uses all the latest care products for her hair and skin, and if she breaks a nail? Unacceptable. Which is why, should someone prove overly aggressive, she is as like to run away as fast as her little legs can carry her as she is to try and protect whoever may be nearby. After all, she just got her nails done, and what if they leave a bruise on that perfect face? Someone would notice that, and that might put her entire family in danger- as well as making her ugly!
Jada spends a long time each morning getting ready for her day. Yeah, she was born with good genes- and she knows it- but perfection can always be improved upon. Hair: Jada has black hair, thick and wavy, that when left loose goes down to the back of her knees. Most of the time she will have it up in a half-braid, leaving the underside of the hair loose and the top half (pulled back from her face) in some sort of design- a braid, a ponytail, a bun. She does have bangs, and leaves a few tendrils to be around her face no matter what style it is in. Eyes: Her eyes are medium-sized, a blue-violet color. "Audrey Hepburn eyes" almond-shaped and thickly lashed. Her eyes are her favorite feature, and she always enhances them to the best of her ability. (around a #8c01cd) Face: Her face is slim, heart-shaped. Her lips are fairly full- the lower a bit thicker so it almost gives the illusion of a pout- and she has a nose that is best described as "cute." She has no freckles, the shade of her skin is cream, darkening from too much time in the sun. Body: Not a perfect hourglass figure, she is a bit top-heavy. She is hippy, but not really with a full bottom. She has long legs and a bit of a short upper torso, and her hands are long-fingered. She is approximately 5'2 before her usual heels. Fashion: For accessories, she loves shiny things and she loves to make sure they match her eyes. She is more inclined to go with gold accessories since they stand out against her skin, even though she personally likes silver better. She likes to wear lots of black and dark jewel tones- dark blues and purples and reds. When going to school, Jada dresses like she is going to a job interview, normally in skirts and suits. Outside of school and work, however, she can typically found in a pair of clean-looking denims, with a nice looking top. Favorite shoes- heels, naturally, a pair of black knee-high boots that she bought as an act of 'rebellion'. Makeup: She rarely uses full makeup, not wanting to clog her pores. She'll go one of two ways if she can- overly dramatic, with bright bold eye colors and lip colors and glitter if it applies, or glowingly "natural". She always, always uses black mascara. Lipsticks, she has a fondness for reds. Lipliner is rare to see.
Senshi: Sailor Scylla, Senshi of the Kraken Challenge: You shouldn't have woken the sleeping monster!
Sailor Ability: Scylla's Sorrow Sailor Scylla is able to create what looks like tentacles. These tentacles can grab and hold the opponent, either leaving them vulnerable to another senshi, or just leaving them unable to chase her until they wear off or fight their way out. Scylla can create up to 8 of these tentacles at once, an absolute maximum. One tentacle can be maintained for up to a full 90 seconds, each subsequent tentacle draining time off of this maximum. The full 8 tentacles averages 30 seconds and leaves her able to walk- they could last for longer, but the effort of maintaining them would leave her severely drained from their use and therefore completely helpless when they wore off. Maintaining them longer would therefore be a last-ditch resort, only if she knew help was on the way. She can use her maximum number of tentacles once per day, and any mix of the other tentacles would vary on usage and stress.

Note: Post-approval, Infinities imposed the following addition/restriction: The downside to this is that for all the added control, Scylla also feels things done to the Kraken's limbs more keenly. Punch the tentacle, cut a tentacle and you're punching Scylla's... well, essentially, her magic. The pain she takes can vary from 'ow you punched me' to 'you knifed me in the side, you jerkoff.' This can lower the duration time of her power, and really, really prove a distraction. Also post-approval, Infinities restricted this to a 15 foot radius in large ORPs unless desired for cinematic purposes.
Attack #3: Eternal Ability: Devour (Approved here) "Gradually, Kraken ascends to the surface, and when he is at ten to twelve fathoms, the boats had better move out of his vicinity, as he will shortly thereafter burst up, like a floating island, spurting water from his dreadful nostrils and making ring waves around him, which can reach many miles. Could one doubt that this is the Leviathan of Job?"
Scylla stamps her foot on the ground, causing the earth to appear to rumble around her in an (illusory) explosive tidal wave, flooding out for a 20-foot radius. A single tentacle per enemy, similar in appearance to the toothed tentacles created by Scylla's Hunger, spawns within 2 feet of the identified enemy and attempts to grab the nearest threat. Scylla has no control over the actions of these tentacles. They will not attempt to do more than grab and hold the nearest threat unless the 'grappled' player wishes so for plot purposes. Nor does Scylla feel any pain as they are attacked, unlike she might with the tentacles which she can control. "Enemy" is a character in opposition to Scylla, while "threat" is anyone who is not Scylla. While the tentacle spawns due to the presence of Scylla's rival, once it spawns there is no additional control over what happens- a Chaos agent could use one of Scylla's allies to distract the tentacle, and the ally would have to fight their way free. Another entity who copies this attack will still be recognized as a potential threat. In the case of an enemy or daring ally copying this, all participants in the roleplay are assigned as potential threats for the copied casting. In the event this is being used in an overly crowded ORP, unless allowed otherwise for meta/event purposes, this attack will be limited to 12 tentacles and 15 feet radius, the same as her Super ability. This ability can be used once per battle unless allowed otherwise for meta/event purposes.

Metallic Bracelet - An antique bracelet made of some sort of metal.(obtained via crown tokens) It has the ability to amplify magic usage; this must be plotted with your roleplay partner before use. You must ask for permission to use this item in events/ORPs. When activated, this bracelet allows the wearer to get an extra use out of their strongest magic (up to third stage). They can only recover magic they have ICly earned; a Super Senshi may not get an extra use out of their Eternal magic since they have not unlocked it. Senshi can recover one use of their strongest magic, and Knights may recover up to 45 seconds of their energy pool. Mauvians will recover one extra use of their laser and will not be so exhausted after using it the first time. For Negaverse characters, or characters who do not usually have magic, they will instead gain the ability to fire a concentrated laser from the bracelet while in battle. The bracelet will only have a few shots (no more than five) and the strength of the blast is dependent on the characterβs rank: At first stage or lower, the blast feels like a harsh slap, at second stage the blast feels like a harsh kick, and at third stage or higher the blast feels hot enough that it may cause the sensation of burning or stun the opponent if hit. Due to the uniqueness of youma/half youma charactersβ abilities and powers, before equipping them with a Metallic bracelet, please PM the mule to work out details.
Ashen Lilac Crystal Ability: The Black Spot "The Ashen Lilac Crystal hummed like a song from the stars themselves to each senshi." Won during the Set Fire to the Rain ORP. A tracking ability, this works like the black spot of lore. Scylla curses a target within 10 feet, and she is able to track them. No matter how far away they get or how weak in level they are, she can feel their aura for a maximum of 30 minutes. It is not a situation of "Lieutenant Loser is in front of a red door, with a sign saying 'Slappy's Slapstick Joint'" or some other form of magical Google Maps. This is a sensation of direction and approximate distance. This does not give her the ability to follow them if, for example, they get sucked through one of the mirrors or into the Negaverse area: She cannot differentiate if they went to the Rift/Mirrorspace/Planet/Wonder/Died/Powered down- it is just like bad cell phone service. It cuts off. If her target, however, only teleports or mirrorwalks away, she can still follow them.
The Wind Ring [IC RP Event Item] Halloween 2k18 Scylla is now in possession of a unique ring. She can now take this ring off, but cannot ever give it to anyone else. If she loses it, it will always return to her finger, but if she willingly takes it off and hides it, it will remain safe until recovered. The stone in this ring is almost completely clear with a few little cloudy specks within it and the ring grants the power of Wind. When the ring is equipped, the wearer can be in any form and will have a passive ability that allows them to feel physically lighter; they will sometimes find a random breeze blowing past them despite any natural air flow. Its true power shines while in powered form, though! Rotating the ring on its worn finger summons a burst of wind that rapidly pushes the wearer five feet in a random direction away from what the wearer believes to be nearest enemy or obstacle. The wearer cannot control which direction they are sent in but they will always be sent in the opposite direction of the nearest threat. While their is no limit to how many times the ring can be used, it requires at least one minute of cooldown between uses.
Transcendence Ability Due to the fact that her magic was grandfathered in under old rules, it was determined best if she took the Energy-Giving ability on Transcendence. "A Transcended Senshi may choose to follow a less combative path. Rather than using their energy to boost the magic power they use in battle, these Senshi are able to transfer their excess energy to civilian victims and wounded allies. They must maintain physical contact in order to make the transfer, and as it requires intense concentration it would be impossible to accomplish in battle. The transfer would help with mild-to-moderate energy loss but would not offer a sense of full recovery in either case. It would simply decrease recovery time by half."
Enhancement: Passive Ability Ominous Presence: Those within the range of Scylla's aura become quite aware of who they are near. The air around her seems to grow cold and oppressive; and when she moves the creaking of ships can be heard, and the sounds of wood splintering and metal bending, water splashing, men crying out in terror. From the corner of their eyes they may think they see something moving in the darkness, but there is nothing there. Familiar friends may (somehow) find her aura soothing, catching a glimpse of light to reassure them. Enemies may find her aura less so.
Enhancement: Senshi Magic Perhaps the most interesting thing about this beast is his unique hunting strategy. The Kraken feeds on fishβthousands and thousands of fishβbut rather than swimming around the ocean, snapping up fish one by one, he has devised a way to make dinner come to him. After the Kraken digests a round of fishβwhich can take up to three monthsβhe recycles the waste, spewing out so much vomit or excrement that the water around him is βmuddied and turbid.β It may sound disgusting, but,
βTHIS MUDDINESS IS SAID TO BE VERY AGREEABLE TO THE SMELL OR TASTE OF OTHER FISHES, [AND] THEY GATHER TOGETHER FROM ALL PARTS TO IT, AND KEEP [β¦] DIRECTLY OVER THE KRAKEN: HE THEN OPENS HIS ARMS [β¦] SEIZES AND SWALLOWS HIS WELCOME GUESTS, AND CONVERTS THEM, [β¦] BY DIGESTION, INTO A BAIT FOR OTHER FISH OF THE SAME KIND.β
New Magic: Bait - Scylla can select one nearby youma, humanoid, or object to be 'bait', splattering it with a magic-based foul-smelling, sticky, sludge- like the consistency of slightly separating peanut butter. The target may (quite rightly) find this unbearably disgusting. Nearby NPC youma are mindlessly drawn to attack the person or object splattered, while PC full-youma and first stage characters will feel an incredibly strong compulsion to attack it; second stage characters and half-youma will find that compulsion weaker, and third/fourth stage the most likely to be able to resist. The effects of the sludge will last for 30 seconds- or until the enemy jumps into a nearby pool of water large enough to 'wash off' the sludge. This can be used twice per battle.
Enhancement: Ethereal Armor Scylla will have the opportunity to magically summon this Ethereal Cuirass (back plate) for up to two minutes during battle, once per day. It will only appear on her during battle. This armor does not protect against magical attacks, but it does protect against physical blows. Sharp weapons will not be able to slice or puncture the armor, but Scylla will still feel the blunt force behind the blow; she may still receive heavy bruising, but will not receive lacerations on the protected region.
Cosmic Companion - (obtained Star Festival 2021) Scylla's cosmic companion looks not unlike a particularly long and tall otter... thing. The otter's whipcord frame has large, heavily-clawed almost badger-like paws, and the muzzle is elongated and more canine, filled with more, larger, longer teeth like their land-living cousins. The water-repelling fur is thick and silky, and rising through it are leathery nubs, almost like hide. The fur color seems to be almost blue-black, and the eyes shine like the wisp it once was, bright and silvery.
A large volume embossed in gold, with delicate, razor thin paper. The pages never rip, tear, or stain. Indefinite use, but it's a little clunky to carry around and not exactly subtle... (obtained in the Celsus CYOA)

Born April 23, 1970, the only child of Lucian and Elisabeta Montgomery defied her parents to marry and was disinherited for it. Had Black hair and green eyes. Zora Chamberlyn - Born April 1, 1996. Her hair is naturally bright red and her eyes are purple. Undaunted by her mother and twin sister's unfortunate demise, Zora is a daredevil. Zora played Horde in WoW. (Orc DK main!) She is well-pierced and tattooed. Zora killed Jada's stalker on accident and remains haunted by it to this day. She works in IT. Kayley Chamberlyn - Born April 1, 1996. Castor Chamberlyn - Jada's eldest son, a toyger cat. He was picked up late one night by Scylla and Castor, and named after his 'daddy.' Castor's favorite person is Jada, and she adores him too. He can be grumpy. Giulia Montgomery - Half-sister, and ward. Born July 20, 2010, she lived with Szelem in France until her mother's death. As her father was not desired in the picture, Jada was listed as her guardian, and she has remained with her older sister since. Aidan Montgomery - Half-brother, and ward. Born July 20, 2010, he lived with Szelem in France until his mother's death. Hope Xanis - Daughter of Jada Chamberlyn and Marlo Xanis, born July 11, 2015. For 2 years Jada believed her child had died at birth, but she had been kidnapped by her grandfather. It was very dramatic. She has curly black hair and her father's blue eyes. Joyce Anberlin - Family Doctor. Not EXACTLY family, but knows almost all Jada's secrets. Her mother was their doctor until her own passing, and Joyce took over, already knowing a lot of the medical history. It's a well-paying job, and she's on call at all hours.
Civilians
Anthony Darrow - Anthony Darling, he was Jada's supervisor when she volunteered at the local library in high school. She may or may not have had a Godzilla-sized crush on him, she never figured it out. Dylan Rasmussen - Prince Alexandros. He took Scylla on her first mirror walk, saved her a** a couple times, and helped introduce her to people who changed her life. He was a parallel. Elke Arma - Sailor Virgo. Elke and Scylla saved each other and were fast friends for several years. Elke taught her a couple Polish, words, and they spent a lot of time together. Duty, a difference of opinion, and mistaken identity pulled them apart towards the end, and then Elke vanished. Elzo Xanis - Sailor Castor. He was one of the first senshi Scylla met, and then met her as a civilian after helping protect her from someone stalking her in the mall. They became friends, and it has lasted. Marlo Xanis - Sailor Pollux. She met him first as a civilian when he and his brother helped keep her safe. As Sailor Pollux he saved her life the night Zanazziite stabbed her. He's the father of Jada's daughter, Hope.
Order
Birhan Isat - Fellow BMC member. They were going to try and revive it together after it fell. Europa - Voted most frequently around Scylla when holiday decorations attack. Kallichore - Christabelle Calloway, a former member of the Blood Moon Court, and one of Scylla's dear friends. She enabled Scylla's transcendence by helping her "communicate" with her planet, and she's proven solid, steady, and trustworthy. Ophelia - the Guardian Cat who awakened her Scholomance - Isaiah ZΓ€hne. He's a good friend to Scylla at this point, with a sharp wit, and can always get her to relax. Scylla helped him break free from his tormentors in the Negaverse, and he introduced her to living for herself, not just others.
Chaos
Ares - Formerly Fallon Novette-Naim, one of Jada's most beloved friends. Jada may have loved her a little too much, even if she never realized it. When Fallon became Ares, Jada joined the Blood Moon Court she created. Jada still feels guilty for Ares' corruption, and everything that happened as a result. Leto - A former member of the Blood Moon Court, and someone who Scylla once killed a Negaverse agent to save. Scylla's feelings on her now are conflicted. Linarite - Formerly Audrey Collins, one of Jada's dearest friends, Linarite purified into Lina Knight. As Daphne Xanis, she was STILL one of Jada's closest friends, until she was re-corrupted. Zirconia - Guardian cat of the Blood Moon Court, a parallel. Zia was one of Jada's closest friends, even after the corruption of the other parallels, and Jada failed her. Seal's Eye - The seal that occasionally lives in her pool and spoils her daughter. Johnny King - Cavalier Laocoon. A former member of the Blood Moon who vanished after the corruption. No one has heard from him in years, but Jada remembers him fondly for a few battles and mirrorwalks. Caedus - An alien, from outer space. One of Scylla's friends- she'd call him a good friend. He taught her some of his language, and she introduced him to Earth poetry.
"Two. Two words. Friend," he clarified, and then said slowly in a deep, rocky voice, "Glynd." He gave her a moment to process it and then added, "And friendship. Glyndvyil. Not 'veil'. Vee-il. If you say Glyndveil, you say, ah," his brows furrowed and he seemed to sift through his thoughts for a moment. "A type of mammal native to our true homeworld. It is not a flattering creature, and you should not utter it disdainfully in front of anyone. Especially your parents. Such is considered classless and rude."

All subjects must be addressed with a title. You cannot simply say βyouβ, it must have an identifier: βyou, respectfulβ, 'you, friend', βyou, casualβ, βyou, unfavorableβ, βyou, unknownβ. There are many words, but those are the ones you use most, I think.β
