Zirconia was half keeping a look out for false kitties and half very much trying not to notice any nearby signals she picked up. She was caught between not wanting to deal with this problem and feeling like she should deal with it to the point she ended up halfheartedly pretending to care.
She'd disappeared when the Dark Mirror Court appeared, resurfaced for the events in the Surrounding only to throw up her paws and take a break again, and then the stupid White Moon cats go and do this.
She was starting to wonder why she bothered.
But it was for this reason Zirconia was stomping around familiar routes. Old routes, places she was known to be and senshi she knew were known to patrol. They were comforting paths and buildings, and she need all the soothing sights she could cram in there before she clawed someone's eyes out.
Angry kitty was on patrol. Except not really.

She'd spent most of the day trying to remember just where she was and where she could find Zirconia- bloody city just couldn't look the same from five feet down, could it? Scylla's paws ached, and she'd been prancing around town for a couple of days now- she'd gotten lost on her way back to Ari's house, and...
Well, now she had found her way to her patrol ground, as Scylla. She knew this area well enough- she'd seen it on her back, as a human, while being dragged around by her pretty hair by a monkey-youma. Or while she was getting bandied about, used as a soccer ball...
Needless to say, she had lots of experience with this area, after so long patrolling it. It would give her a head start to at least figuring out where she was. She knew her way back to HER apartment from here, and from there she would be able to find her way back to Ari!
And then they'd just call Zirc, damnit. She was getting really tired of looking for one cat in this city.

Zirconia, in her lack of magic cell phone knowledge and ability to meld into the civilian world at will, could be a hard kitty to find if she didn't want to be. A pro in her mind, but no doubt an annoyance to any senshi who might actually want to.
For now, though, the large forest cat was very visible and her halfhearted searching had finally yielded some results. When she spotted a star marked cat, her first reaction was to recoil and hope they hadn't seen her too. But there was something about this one. Something incredibly familiar, and it all just seemed to line up right.
Given the location and the gut feeling, Zirconia had every right to suspect this particular fake cat might be one of her-- even if adopted-- girls.
"You wouldn't happen to be someone I know, would you?" She asked without a greeting as she briskly padded up to the smaller housecat.

She saw the other feline first, and the sight filled her heart with joy. Finally! After so much searching! Maybe it was like an Oasis, and Zirconia was a mirage... Not that she was going to try and eat or drink a cat twice her feline weight.
"I would, actually." Scylla was sooo relieved. "It's me, Zirc. Scylla. I got turned into a cat, and I have been looking for you for days." She had been, too. The senshi of the Kraken couldn't even START on her adventures.
Right now, she was just relieved to see a friendly, non-kidnapping face.
"I've even been chased by animal control, Zirconia." she butted against the larger cat, thoughtlessly familiar, her joy palpable. "I had no idea life was so terrifying for the tiny."

Zirconia was less overjoyed at the realization that this was Scylla. Not because she wasn't happy to see Scylla, necessarily, but because she was unhappy to see Scylla as a cat.
It was worse than an unfortunate stranger being stuck as a cat.
"Hoo... boy," Was all the reaction Zirconia could muster at first, besides the stretched frown that found it's way to her face. It didn't sound like Scylla was very good at being a cat, though she hadn't put much thought into whether or not 'being a cat' was a skill or not.
She reeled up on her back feet and casually started grooming the other cat out of habit, though it was probably a different dynamic than when she was just weaving around her ankles like she normally would.
"Ugh, this better not be permanent, or I am adding that Chloe b***h to my list," She huffed.

What was there to not be overjoyed about? Scylla had finally achieved her goal, after- what was it now, three days? It had been a lot harder to do such a thing in kitty-cat form, ducking and dodging, and trying to remember not to talk to people.
It had been the most miserable days of her life, excluding the night her parents had revealed they were getting a divorce. She'd been stepped on, chased, beaten up, catnapped overnight, fired! And while admittedly, Ari was trying to make her life easier, she was kind of sucking at it with all her cat jokes.
Trustingly, she leaned back against the fuzzy purple cat, accepting the comforting grooming with an expression on her face that may very well have been Eww. Mooooom. It was indeed a very different dynamic. Scylla never dared to scratch Zirconia behind the ears when the other cat- woman... thing- was trying to trip her and make her break her neck.
"You actually have a list?" It was more comforting to focus on that than the 'This better not be permanent.' Somehow, she could only imagine who was ON the list. "Is it a long list?"

Zirconia just sort of paused and looked a bit dumbfounded at the question. "Well I suppose it's a bit lengthy," She admitted, vastly understating it. People were on there for fatal offenses that took lives to such minor offenses as using skim milk in her coffee.
Of course it was sub-categorized but she wasn't about to get in to that.
"Did you feel that huge explosion of energy when people turned into cats? Chloe's fault," That might not be entirely accurate, but Zirconia was something of an outsider and missed that paw print of pancake syrup and various other clues that it wasn't a one cat screw up.
She finished up with the grooming motions, giving Scylla's head one last gesture with her paws like she was fluffing her up before she moved back to sit like a normal cat, which looked like she was just melding into a furball. It might've been more practical to shift into a civilian at this point, but being a cat was much warmer if they were going to sit here and talk outdoors.
"Birhan already knows, right?" Zirconia had tried to avoid being up to date on BMC dealings and doings, intentionally. But it was really no fun being clueless.

"Chloe?" Scylla carefully didn't ask any further questions about the length of Zirconia's hit list- among which this 'Chloe' certainly was. She hadn't heard about a Knight or Senshi named Chloe, but it could possibly be one of the cats- she was fairly ignorant of most of their names, were she to be perfectly honest with herself.
It was weird to be groomed, but mroe than odd it was soothing. Scylla wasn't very good at keeping herself clean, as a cat, and it had been hard to bathe herself using water, keeping her fur neat even harder; her fur was all ruffled (literally and figuratively) and knowing Zirconia was on the job made the cat-senshi feel that much better about herself when the larger cat was finally content with her work.
"I felt the energy. It was more oddness to me than anything I could identify. I was a senshi, and then... I wasn't anymore. I was short- and no jokes." In her senshi form and heels, Jada hit 5'4 on a good day.
"Birhan was the first person who knew what had happened to me, aside from my own cat. It was an adventure finding her, too. She's letting me stay with her for the time being, running my texts and things. But do you know, her sense of humor in my tender condition ios atrocious." Indignant? Certainly. The redhead kept cracking all sorts of jokes. "I've been looking for you for days. Bir-" no han, "-wanted to call you, but I said no, I wanted to find you myself. Worst decision ever, honestly."

"A Siamese, I think. Maybe. I don't know, I've never seen her before. I've never seen any of those cats before, except *********," Zirconia explained and paused to narrow her eyes at the reminder of *********. ********* was the one who invited her to the gathering to help.
"*********>," She muttered in a voice promising such seriously dramatic retribution it was downright lol-worthy.
"Mauvian energy, I think. White Moon Mauvian energy, not my particular brand..." She theorized and then gave Scylla an awkward little pat. Zirconia couldn't afford to make short jokes about other cats. She'd be making fun of everyone! Except maybe a few other felines out there she'd yet to meet. It was hard to repress a small chuckle at the indignation, though. It seemed like she was always the one being indignant and picked on, and now one of her girls was in the same boat.
"Oh, well..." Zirconia honestly wouldn't have picked up. Unlike the guardian cats in this universe, she didn't have a senshi phone or even posses the capacity to use one, and her regular every day phone had been buried under a pile of laundry to be forgotten about while dealing with a particularly bad day.
"Have you eaten?"

It was kind of amusing. Scylla could almost see the emphasis on those cats. It was in the narrowed eyes and general agitation of the other Blood Mooner. Especially distaste of this '*********.' Goodness- Scylla was so out of the White Moon loop. Not that it was her Court anymore, so to say, but it was still her business to keep informed.
"It could have been, but..." Scylla raised a paw helplessly, an attempt to shrug. "I just want to be a girl again. I miss my clothes so much I could just die. I know I'm not actually naked, but running around like this feels like I am flashing the world." It was stupid, she was sure, but she couldn't imagine being a cat like this all the time. She would DIE.
The mention of food brought on a mix of nausea and a stomach rumble. "I've been fed so much salmon I might not ever want to see it again. Ari gave me breakfast before I ran out the door this morning, but I have the closet suspicion it wasn't Corned Beef Hash like she said, but cat or dog food." Mostly because of the way Castor had been sniggering than the twinkle in Ari's eye. "I could eat again though."
