After the battle with the Greater Youma, after the meeting with Duhr, Scylla had gone home and begun to make up a list of people that she remembered- from the old days. Senshi she had met, once or twice, names that had floated about in mention. Older names. Older names, in theory, meant older people; certainly people who had been fighting for longer. She was a little daunted by the lack of names she found. So many of the senshi she had known were gone. So much of an ancient network had crumbled into disrepair. It was her fault, of course- there was no one she could blame but herself for not knowing. She had spent her time overseas, henshining but once a week, and spending only a few moments of that on Earth. Scylla had flung herself into history, into a weekly visit to her homeworld and then little else to maintain herself, either as senshi, or as Jada. And now she was trying to fling herself out of it, and she could feel those scales tipping again. Honestly- she'd always worked terribly, alone. Always needed a little something to keep her in check. Watch her back. Pat her on the head after a hard patrol. The text went out first to Maia. They had met before. The other senshi had been a bit dizzy, practicing without her team, and then there had been some issues with some unhappy snowmen, and... well. The fact Maia was still about was as good a place to start as any other. Maybe better, since she wouldn't have to go through the awkward stages of 'hi, my name is-' They could skip straight to the 'wow, it has been so long!' Seated on the bench, Scylla crossed one leg primly over the other, hands tucked into the pockets of her jacket. Hopefully, the other senshi would choose to accept the invitation. She'd have to drink the other hot chocolate all by herself if Maia didn't show. Kaori_luv wow this feels like a shitty start, but wheee

Maia had been surprised to hear for Scylla because it seemed that those that had been around when she awakened were few and far between these days. It shouldn't have surprised her that much however, because even she had vanished a few times. She looked at the glowing marks on her arms that had been gained after on of those times. The worst of those times. She approached, the sickly sweet aura of a transcended was hard to miss, she was frowning because she'd taken a bit longer to arrive then intended, but smiled when she saw Scylla. She waved, "Hi, sorry I hope you we're waiting long. I just had to make sure my brother would take over training tonight." She grinned and happily sat down next to the other eternal glowing, "It's really good to see you." Infinities Sorry for the wait and the shortness!

Another Order aura came towards her, pure and clear; an oddity in the aura, like when she had met Kallichore. A little like, now she thought on it, Celsus. Even in the midst of other drifting auras, they had seemed more.... clean? Perhaps? Clear, certainly. She shifted her weight to straighten her spine, but keep the primly relaxed look. Or try. She just wasn't a prim kind of woman, not anymore. Not without parental expectations breathing down her neck. Dobby was a free elf, damnit, and even if the recognition she'd been more... formal, perhaps? There was a freedom to her now that hadn't been there before, even if she was just as lost. "I wasn't waiting long at all," she responded as the woman came into view, shifting a hair to angle her body towards the place Maia would be sitting, watching the other senshi take a seat. "Training? What are you training for?" she assumed brother it would be something to do with work, but she had been surprised before. "It's good to see you too, Maia. Been a while." A private joke, and one she didn't laugh at to share with the other woman. "How have you been? Nice new magical tattoos." had Maia also 'asked the cosmos for advice'? Or was her story different?

Mail smiled then gave a chuckle at Scylla's question, "oh you know the usual. Making sure new and older senshi and knights alike don't get their bottoms handed to them. It's mostly hand to hand combat, but I've done huge grout sessions too though I haven't in a while. Actually haven't in an embarrassingly long time. My brother is taking over tonight, so I'm certain it will be first aid training, since he's an emergency room doctor." She sat back, "it's really good to see you too. Glad to see you are alive and well." "I've been well lately,"she said before looking at her glowing green marking and smirked. "They take some getting use to, but the benefits are nice ... would have been nice if I came about them a little easier though." She refrained from elaborating at the moment as the store was morbid and kind of terrifying. "How have you been? I haven't seen you in years now I think. Man," she laughed, "really got to do better with staying in contact."

Scylla tilted her head with interest. "I didn't know that there were many teams still around that practiced like that. I know there had been a bit of a get-together at a gym, civilians-only, no questions asked, but... as far as more regular formal sessions, that's very interesting." She also hadn't realized Maia had a brother, and the fact that had slipped past her was almost shameful. "And practicing with the knights too? Civ work, or actual training with a cat to shield?" Her lips twitched, and her shoulders relaxed a little. "My brother's going into medical school soon, he hopes." she confessed with a smile. "Destiny City always needs good, trustworthy doctors to be at the scene." Trustworthy. Not Chaos. Actually there to save lives, not take Starseeds. She could remember the days when- no. "It's good to be alive and well," she bantered back with a laugh. "I haven't always felt that way,. but I'm getting better." purple eyes gazed with interest at the markings on the other senshi's body, curiosity driving her to ask. The benefits were nice? As how Kallichore had shared energy with Scylla? Or were there other benefits? Was it rude to ask, yet? Perhaps later- Maia wasn't speaking up to share her story yet, and Scylla was content not to push. Shifting, she said, "I left town for business in 2012, and apart from a few brief visits, I haven't been back. Advancing my career took priority, and I've come into possession of a couple new siblings. Adjusting in her seat, she said, "I must say, I never gave my parents enough credit when I was younger for keeping up with the four of us." Not that Szelem had deserved much of it, but Michael and the nanny... "Keeping in touch is one of the things I want to work on," she agreed with Maia, fervently. "Running away from everything isn't very much ' magical warrior of justice.' she wanted to do better. Needed to do so. Kaori_luv Sorry for the delay; Gaia ate the tag.

Infinities sorry this response might be a little lacking, i havent rp'd very much in a long while Maia shook her head, "there aren't really, at least I dont believe so ... havent seen much team wise in a while ... but formal sessions were a big thing for a bit in and out of the suit." She smiled, "actual training, in varying ways always with a cat or a few, in different places. Don't want to get caught or ambushed ... that is something not needed while you are learning." "I hope your brother becomes a fine doctor ... thankfully its likely to risky for doctors even in the negaverse to go around snatching lives in the hospital. There are to many of us and they run a huge risk of getting caught, more so than in the past. At least I hope so, at least I know my brother keeps his eyes and ears open, he's ever the cautious one." Maia gave Scylla a look, nodding, she definitely understood. It really was good to be alive and well. "I'm glad that youre doing well Scylla. We all do need to take time for ourselves and often we do not. Sometimes, you just need to escape for a bit, I wont fault you or anyone that does." "Maybe now that your are back we could do a training session together sometime, show them how to really get worked," she laughed lightly feeling relaxed.

Actual training. With other people. Bless. Jada still jogged, of course, kept something akin to in shape. Knew a bit about how to punch people from her lessons, but her jobs rarely required her to be muscled and killy, and she hadn't been back long enough to really set up a strict regimen to get back in 'fighting form'...
Cats. Like what Zirconia had done for the BMC when they trained in the gym at what almost no one had known was her home- helped hide the aura of multiple senshi in a singular area. "That would be bad," she agreed with a wry smile. "Too many people, too many targets to protect, even for the experienced ones." it was idle thought, remembering...
Her dark head shook, brushing away the cobwebs of memory that plagued her. "He's never had a dream job that wasn't about helping others and protecting the innocent." Jada's lips quirked, her eyes softening. "I hope he'll continue that. We need more trustworthy everything. For as long as we've been fighting, it feels like the world just keeps getting darker." a handful of people couldn't win a war against human nature, she supposed. Even with magic. They would need more hope and light than any one of them could summon.
Still, she straightened her spine, the smile she turned on Maia brimming and bright. "A workout would be awesome, actually. I've been thinking about looking for some of the... the others. From the Blood Moon. Not quite getting the gang back together, but you know... we'd promised to look out for each other." Promised to be a family, and the family had collapsed, from the inside. "Maybe see if anyone can put me through my paces again. I'd figured they might be less inclined to laugh at me than a group of new people."
