Phina sat in the lounge nearly finished with the mornings set up. She was having a store meeting today. She needed to start of her employees on the right foot as they were now into a new year and in this year big things would be happening. She looked to the the refreshment table which held an assortment of healthy breakfast option, like yogurt, whole wheat bagels, granola, fruit and fruit juices and hot tea. No coffee this morning, she suspected anyone who wanted of needed it would have gotten it before breakfast.
Checking to make sure everything was in order Phina headed out to the front of the store to start receiving her employees, it was about 15 minutes before time and she hoped most would be early or just on time. She would appreciate lateness, not today anyway. Phina was more lax as far as being someone boss went, but when she wanted something done she meant for it to be done right with promptness.
Phina grinned too see faces already waiting outside the door to be let in, eager she hoped to get on with the morning meeting.
Lily was one of these faces. She hadn't been working for Phina long, only having sought out a job knowing she couldn't just hang around while she wasn't attending classes having gotten swept up in the civilian disappearance. She'd be headed back in just under a month's time and she was excited, but for now she's worked at Phina's starting in November clean up through the holidays and she enjoyed her bosses friendliness.
"Good morning Seraphina," she greeted as she entered undoing her scarf and enjoying the heat for a moment, though she did move out of the way for anyone behind her.
"Good morning Lily, the meeting will be in the break room," said Phina with a smile.

He had been a little nervous working during the holiday rush but things had been a lot better than the horror stories he'd heard. His boss was wonderful and so were his co-workers. Plus he got to show off his fashion knowledge and no one looked at him funny. IT had been a blessing and it had meant that he'd had extra money for his and Rik's birthday.
He had intended to be the first one at the meeting and almost pouted when he noticed Seraphina letting Lily inside. Hurrying up across the street he waved at his boss with a smile.
"Morning!"

With her new place as a senshi came a new beginning for Micah. She gone job hunting, suddenly much more comfortbale with herself as a civilian as well. No more was she clinging to the bravado of a clearly scared child. She's chosen her path and was more confident for it. Perhaps she would nto be winning any contests for it... btu she was standing a little bit taller, speaking a little bit louder, and taking a little bit longer to get angry. Anyone who knew her well could see the difference.
And so, when she entered the shop she had been so recently hired in, she did not stoop, at least not as much. Her face wasn't as challenging, and her tone wasn't as guarded.
"Hey," she chirped, spreading her fingers in a wave as she noticed the other three people present. "Thank you for employing me," she grinned, tapping her heels in a flutter of nerves.

Jada had made it back into town after New Year's Eve a little bit sorer and a little bit sadder. Her parents were willing to consider the idea she had suggested for making use of the mansion- all of the ideas- but they had told her she still needed to show some responsibility. They'd made it clear that she needed to find a method of income, and if she refused to leave Destiny City, what were her options? She was a young woman who needed something part time, with as much of the weekends free as possible for her other job. That dream that danced on the fringes, both inside and outside of her grasp.
Modeling.
She did it, sometimes, and when she saw the ads she was in it made her swell up with glee. Which, she acknowledged, meant she was still in the honeymoon phase of her potential career. (Which, she also acknowledged, would be stunted by staying in Deathtrap City.)
Crossing the street early in the morning, a huge cup of some potent coffee beverage in hand, she darted to grab the door before it closed behind a vaguely familiar girl. Jada was dressed for success, a white top, black suit jacket and pencil skirt, all finished off with her lucky gold butterfly McQueens. "Good morning." Jada was very cheerful for this early in the morning, and why not? However temporary this job may end up being, she got to work around clothes! And there was little that the heiress loved more.

*Sorry for the wait, was waiting for one more. Gonna proceed, she may or may not join in*
"Morning Lysander. Hope you got lots of sleep last night, there is a lot to discuss," she said with a grin obviously excited for the meeting. "Meeting is in the break room. Let Lily know she can help herself to breakfast, you as well."
She waved Lysander off and turned to greet a few more employees before Micah walked in with a Hey, Phina couldn't help but to laugh a little at being thanked for hiring the girl, but she didn't mean it in a bad or insulting way. She was amused, very highly.
"Good morning Micah, you are very welcome. I'm glad to have you on board, its going to be a great year," she said with a smile and wink. "The others are waiting in the break room, that were the meeting will be. Breakfast is waiting on the table."
Phina turned back to the door watching as Jada her new model walked toward the door and greeted her. "Good morning Jada. You look lovely, as to be expected of course. Very professional. Come," she said closing and locking the door and heading toward the back. "The meeting is in the break room today, the other's should be back waiting and most likely having breakfast. We have much to discuss."
Lily stood in the back in a lace turtleneck long sleeve creme colored dress, paired with opaque tights, black ankle boots with a ruffle design up the arch, and a black beaded necklace and bracelet. She hung her coat, hat and scarf before taking a seat and waiting for the other's to come in. She noticed the breakfast spread, but she had eaten already and even had a cup of tea made by Alex, so she wasn't hungry.

At the mention of food Micah suddenly felt more at home. She had only had a cup of coffe so far that morning, and was eager to fill her belly with something a little more substantial. It wasn't an uncommon thing, however, for the teens mind to become consumed with the thought of food. In reality she believed that she existed in three states; anxious, exhausted, and hungry. A joke commonly heard around her household.
She happily nabbed a bagel from the table and began murmuring to herself different ways to pronounce the word, as was customary before her consumption of the bread. Once she'd cycled through all of the pronunciations she was aware of she carefully sliced the bagel in half and spread both sides with cream cheese, setting them on a plate. She then cut the two pieces into t fourths, and those fourth in halves, giving her nicley sized wedges.
Ceremony complete, Micah was free to eat, a hapy smile on her lips.

Jada smiled at Phina as the older woman greeted her, waiting politely for the door to be locked and then following her towards the meeting room. "I am looking forward to it." she admitted, eyes drifting towards the clothing. This was going to be an interesting job for sure.
The heiress kept her head up as she moved into the meeting room, glancing over the offered food thoughtfully. She'd eaten a couple pieces of dry toast this morning, but breakfast hadn't been such a big deal lately. She was mostly kind of nauseated in the mornings, what with the cold and her allergies. At least her face wasn't getting puffy. She just ate a nice lunch to compensate, and kept some kind of a snack in her purse or dollar bills in her wallet for grabbing something.
Purple eyes drifted over the others in the room, and she gave the young man, the curly-haired female and Lily each a smile. (If Lily's was a little warmer than the one the other two got, it totally had nothing to do with those cute little boots.)
