A text is received on senshi phones, and a simple scroll is received by knights. Simply put and frankly stated, the message bears a large vine full of thorns, with blue roses on the left side that seem to be lit with bits of almost blood-red. In the lower right corner is the only 'signature' for who sent the message out, a shining golden Octopus? Squid? Kraken? that sits in front of a matte blood-red crescent moon. (Senshi and Knights can reply and this will go to Scylla's senshi cell phone.)

She had to much to talk to Genevieve about! Between the aliens, and Scylla’s desire to talk to the senshi of vampires about maybe joining the Thorns, and a Girl’s Night with Cherish (who she should also maybe talk to about the Thorns? Hmm…) and maybe Cybele too, and then school was in session already, and Jada was thinking about using the mansion to house purified people, and- she needed to share the ritual she was going to be doing with Elpis when life calmed down, and- Well. It was a lot, and Nephthys was one of the few people Jada knew off the top of her head for like… social reasons. Friend reasons. At least that was also a senshi and would understand pretty much everything.
Plus the presence of Genevieve made Jada miss Christa a little less. Another friend who had moved on, as it were. They both missed her, and it made her absence a little less keen.
Jada had invited Genevieve over to the City House today- not the mansion, as the kitchen there was fantastic, but also WAY too big. If Jada had too much space, she would make a whole mess of it. Plus, the mansion was just… intimidating. The City House was much cozier, and closer for Gene, and they could have an uninterrupted conversation while the kids were at school and Jada tried to perfect a brownie recipe. Or even make it edible, and without the burned bits… that would be nice too, wouldn’t it?
She had nervously pulled out every possible ingredient that could be needed for her baking, and there were piles of bowls and pans set aside. There were mix-ins, and the sugar and salt had been double and triple checked for accuracy and to make sure she couldn’t possibly mix them up. Again. She had even bought two boxes of brownie mix, just in case- there was going to be SOMETHING edible by the end of this… probably… maybe… She wasn’t going to hold her breath, but she was pretty sure! She had pulled up two chairs to the kitchen island, and even pulled out the grown-up cups, instead of the silicon-plastic things their household usually drank from.
It was going to be a good day.
