WELCOME  General Labyrinthite has been missing for many months, he has suffered and he has survived, exposed to the harsh trials of the Rift that resides in the Dark Kingdom. Laurelite sent him there to test him and he has learned, now ready to teach the city in return.
Labyrinthite, however, does not return alone.

Rules
There is absolutely NO outside negaverse involvement unless I (Nuxaz) call for it. There are crystal inhibitors in place that dampen the energy signatures and while the White Moon are responding to a distress call, auras are severely muted and General Labyrinthite will not be calling in reinforcements.
Please be respectful to other players and their schedules. If you choose to engage or interact with a specific character or youma, you are agreeing to wait until they respond or 36 hrs have passed before you can take another action-based turn. Regular RP responses are fine, but you cannot attack another target until your previous target responds or the time limit passes.
The playable youma are allowed to make ONE out of 'turn' post per 36hr time period and this is ONLY when they are making an attempt to take an attack meant for General Labyrinthite.
The ONLY exception to the time rule is when I am posting a GM post whether it is with General Labyrinthite or the Greater Youma. Please understand that this is my event and I reserve the right to adjust rules and mechanics based on my needs and the needs of the event.
If there are concerns about player behavior, how the event is being run, or any of the battle mechanics, please reach out to me first. If you are confused about how to do something, please ask! I don't bite.
Do NOT delete posts if you make a mistake, whether it is a dice roll or something else. Simply post again with the correct roll or action and nullify the previous post, this is to avoid cheating accidental or otherwise.
If your character is effected by an ability that results in a lost turn, you must post acknowledging the effects and then wait for the next post of the attacker (or the 36 hr wait limit) before you may take a new turn.
Please try to post at least once every other day, I understand that life gets busy but I would like to keep the event within the time frame I've set!
Please use the form posted in each turn post. Turns are action posts, in which you're making a move that affects a target. For example, targeting and attacking General Labyrinthite counts as a turn!
I reserve the right to add rules as I see fit.
ICly the event takes place on MARCH 24th and OOCly should take no more than two weeks.
In light of the map and the ZONES, you may not attack a character that is moving from one zone to the next until their next turn. For example; Mantick is injured and uses his turn to move from zone 14 to zone 15, someone else CANNOT post after with an attack BUT they may use their turn to follow them to the next zone! When moving zones you CANNOT attack.

Basic: Randomize 1-15
1-5: Miss

11-15: Critical Hit
Super/Squire: Randomize 5-20
5-10: Miss
11-15: Hit
16-20: Critical Hit
Eternal/Knight: Randomize 20-35
20-25: Miss
26-30: Hit

Cat's get to use their forehead laser once per battle for +15 damage to Labyrinthite OR +20 to a youma with a successful hit!
If using offensive magic in your attack, against the youma, you do additional damage

Critical Hits: + additional 5
Castor gets +5 to every successful hit as an S4, but uses the S3 RNG mechanics.
Chibis get -3 from every successful hit due to their chibi status, but use the S-Rank of whatever stage they're in. (**this does not apply to offensive magical attacks).

Bone Snake: Thick Skin Despite having no visible skin, the snake possesses a stone-like hide that absorbs physical damage. (-3 damage from every physical attack.) [Quote Infinities for interaction]
Skeletal Hyena: Manic Laughter The hyena has a disarming laughter that when used, temporarily paralyzes the target for one turn rendering them unable to attack. (May effect up to 3 targets once every four turns. Does +5 damage) [Quote Strickenized for interaction]
Skeletal Bird Crab: Salsa Dance The chattering and clapping of crab claws and the shake of bones creates a melody that's almost impossible to ignore. Effected targets are hypothesized for one turn and attack a nearby alley instead of their intended target. (May effect up to 4 targets once every three turns. Attack DMG goes to nearest 'ally'.) General Labyrinthite and Greater Youma Attack/Turn Information
General Labyrinthite Randomizes 25-45 for a single target
25-30: Miss
31-40: Hit
41-45: Critical Hit
OR 20-40 for multiple targets (assuming for a max of 3 due to range)
20-25: Miss
26-35: Hit (Damage is distributed equally between targets.)
36-40: Critical Hit (Damage is distributed equally between targets.)
Greater Youma Randomizes 40-60 as a AoE attack effecting up to 10 targets
40-45: Hits 3 Targets (Damage is distributed equally between targets.)
46-55: Hits 5 Targets (Damage is distributed equally between targets.)
56-60: Hits All 10 Targets (Damage is distributed equally between targets.)
Greater Youma Abilities Like the other youma, it's got special abilities!
Echo Chorus Amplifies all magical effects by +30 (If your magic is offensive, add +30 damage to the attack. If your magic is defensive -30 damage from an attack. If your magic is supportive and effects a single target +30 health. If your magic is supportive and effects multiple targets divide +30 health among effected targets.)
Duration: Lasts 2 turns. (May be used once without restriction, then once for every 125 HP lost)
(**By supportive, I mean as an aspect of healing. If you have questions on how your character's magical abilities would be effected in the two turn duration please PM me with their magic and I will provide you with a break down!**)
Shatter Dome The greater youma emits a loud screeching noise as it drops into the ground, creating a shockwave ripple that effects up to 25 targets. (Does +30 damage, 1st stage targets are stunned for one turn, 2nd stage targets are disoriented for one turn [-5 attack], 3rd stage targets have no additional side effects, and 4th stage targets only take +20 damage)
(**When used in conjunction with Echo Chorus, targets takes +60 damage. May be used once without restriction, then once for every -75HP**)

It doesn’t take long for Labyrinthite and the youma hoard that had amassed to gather up enough crystals to dampen the rushing tide of chaotic aura that his youma mount radiated. They make baskets out of branches, leaves, and vines and fill them. Despite the flesh that has knitted itself together from old magic, there are enough pockets in the greater youma’s body to hold them.
What it cannot carry, the hoard does.
“Are you ready, Reaper?” The voice rattled out of the bone beak. Labyrinthite was standing on it’s back, bright eyes sweeping across everything they have done and collected, youma crawling through ribs and decayed flesh to find a hold.
“I have been ready for a long time,” he answered, voice even and shoulders squared. He held himself as he always did when he was preparing to go into battle. General Labyrinthite is a man who has been held the part of a soldier for so long, it’s impossible to carry himself any other way. In his hand is his scythe, the blade glistening sharply in the strange low lighting of the area, crystals pulsing beneath him with a dull pink glow, that casts his face into harsh shadows.
Beneath him, he could feel the hum of the youma in agreement. “We have been gone a long time,” his mount rasped.
“You longer than I,” he stated taking one last look before finding a place between it’s shoulders for a seat. Labyrinthite knows that most of the youma like this are dormant. Perhaps shattered as the bird had been or merely slumbering until the call of the general-sovereigns bade it to rise.
He wondered to what capacity their new Queen had to wake them.
“They do not miss the old gods, only the new ones.” The youma countered, shifting on it’s feet as it prepares for the travel from the Rift to the surface world.
“I am no god,” he replied bitterly. As far as the general is concerned, he is no more than one of Metallia’s most loyal. A knight and a blade, forged in the fires and licks of flame made of combat, sweat, and blood.
“A legend then?” The bird suggests and Labyrinthite’s mind flashed to a statement he’d said to himself so much earlier.
“Yes. I will take this lesson and turn it into a legend. A legacy that is mine.” His resolve is strong, unshakable as his faith.
Behind him, the youma chatter, voices warped as they sing, riiiiise Reaper.
Skaikru called him Reaper. The youma do too, chanting it behind him in loud overlapping voices. Reaaaaper Riiiiiises.
Yes, it’s time for the city to see the Reaper Rising.
Coming back to Destiny City proved to be more turbulent of a ride than the good general expected. The landing is what gets him however, with the youma he rode having difficulties with it’s legs. It had been so long, after all, without all of it’s parts that walking is not easy like it should be.
Some of the crystals are broken in the landing, few youma smattering into dust to their dismay. The main six, the ones that had aided him, survive without injury and are quick to lay the crystals around so that they may conduct their business even if most still rest in the belly of the large beast that brought him home.
He had crashed into a building, one of the power plants in the heart of the city.
Lights flickered out and wires sparked when power lines went down. Darkness stretched across the grid, but Labyrinthite was home. ((Please have your youma spreading out around the greater youma and General Labyrinthite! Auras in the vicinity have been dampened as an affect of the crystals in the youma's belly and scattered around but there is a single order aura that can be felt.
Denebola's.
You may spot her if you choose, but please don't attack! You can, however, lure her closer! You are also welcome to use the images linked in the sign-up thread for your respective youmas!))

 To say it was ready, was perhaps an understatement. It was questionable how willfully the beast had come along when it was more likely it had come along out of sheer requirement somehow. Lured along like the fish it was with some sort of bait. Perhaps the continued existence of it's throbbing, clattering, chitin covered body. The bubbles of blood in it's belly burble and pop, refilling and reforming as it's multiple legs skitter and shift to support it's awkward weight. It thrummed along with the others, Reaaaaper, it's voice joined the others, bubbles continuing to pop in it's gut and sending light mists of blood all about. It carried with it a crystal - one of many that had been gathered and brought along with them all, though it's way of handling it was more like a mindless zombie would have rather than a loyal servent, it's insectoid like legs clicking against it as it tapped along with the thrall of the others. The bubbles of blood in it's chest inflated and deflated as though lungs it was breathing through, all of which popped and left a fine spray of gore across the ground as they landed from their turbulent ride. Immediately, it scattered away to find a suitable place for their token. Their toy. Once it was placed, it began to pace eagerly. Click, click, click, click.

Denebola's night had started off poorly, with the woman waking from a nightmare that had her trashing in her too-large bed. When she couldn't get back to sleep, she did what she always did.
She slipped out of the house, conscious of the housemates, and careful not to wake them. It hadn't taken her long to make her way from her home to the heart of the city, where the people thumped and thrived when she let magic wash over and she went from Fiona Watson to Super Sailor Denebola. The night seemed to be an uneventful one, wedges carrying her across familiar paths that she had walked for years.
They took her further away from the bustling crowds, clubs, and bars that fed Destiny City's nightlife.
It took her close to a power plant she had grown up near, the sight of it up over the crest of the hill as she continue on. Her night brought her just in the line of sight for something to ripple into existence, a strange creature that didn't belong - bursting into the air with a caw.
Then -
The creature fell, crashing in to the main structure of the power plant and wings tearing into the the power lines and talons tearing into the building.
Her heart stopped as the lights flickered; once, twice, out.
Part of her wanted to run, because while she could not feel it, she knew what the creature was.
Youma.
One she could not possibly fight on her own and yet-
Because she was who she was, she was moving forward with her senshi phone in hand.
Few people would get a message directly from her, she didn't have the time for much more than that.
[Recipients: Arsinoe, Altais, Corvus, Midgard, Themisto There's trouble at the plant on 52nd and Washington. I need help ] Her message is unfinished, thumb slipping and hitting send when someone steps out of the smoke, some insect creature slithering along the ground beside him.
Denebola recognizes his grin first and fear spikes through her.
"Ah, little Dragonfly, I see you're here to play," Labyrinthite cools, taking slow and leisurely steps forward. "You're always there getting in my way."
"I - " Her voice got caught in her throat, finger tapping the the distress signal button before her phone dropped. "Someone has to be," she said defiantly.

The distress signal has gone live! Any and all participants are encouraged to arrive on scene either because they're responding to the call or they've been called in by someone who has!
There are SIX youma open to engage freely, but I ask that you wait until my next GM post (so everyone gets a chance to pop in) before engaging in combat with Labyrinthite or the Greater Youma.
It HOWEVER is to be assumed that there are MANY youma crawling around the plant that you are free to dust as you bust onto scene.

Altais phoned buzzed just as he saw the side of city lose power. Dene's distress call earned a speedy drop of a shockwave senshi where he had seen the power drop.
"DENEBOLA?" The super yelled, brushing the dust of a smaller youma off his shoulder as he hit the concrete below him. His jacket furling around his legs.
"DENEBOLA, WHERE ARE YOU BEST FRIEND?" The power plant was huge, and if she was somewhere admist a group of youma, his yelling would be enough to draw some attention to him. Being a super had its perks after all, he could take out more then he could as a basic.
"Oi, There's a lot of you little buggers eh?" Altais grinned, "You got someone of mine in here somewhere don't'cha?"

Sailor Themisto & Sailor KallichoreOn the rooftop of the small credit union in downtown Destiny City, Themisto was right in the middle of interrogating his elder sister, whose forehead was strangely glowing. It definitely wasn't glowing the last time they'd gotten together, and Kallichore had some serious explaining to do. Before she could, however, Themisto's phone buzzed several times. Pulling open the awkward flip face, he spied Denebola's call for help. Kallichore tilted her head. "Who is it, Themisto?" The boy looked gravely concerned, as the text wasn't even completed by the time it was sent. A knot was forming in the pit of his stomach. "It's... it's Denebola. I think she's in big trouble. She didn't even finish the message... She's really helped me out before... I gotta go help!" "Themisto," she started, getting up from her seated position to chase her brother down. He'd already gotten a head start in Denebola's direction, but being an Eternal senshi, she was able to close the distance with incredible speed. "Themisto, if she's in deep trouble, I can't let you go alone." Her brother didn't even stop in his mad dash to the super senshi's location. "Fifty-second and Washington, Kalli. We gotta get there, fast. This could be my chance to repay Denebola." His mad leaps from roof to roof were speedy and erratic, sloppy in their execution. Once or twice, his sister had to reach out to steady him in case he might fall or trip on his geta and break an ankle. Themisto let out a frustrated growl at her. Now wasn't the time!"You can't save Denebola with a broken leg, Themisto." "YEAH, YEAH, I KNOW! I KNOW!" --- Themisto and Kallichore arrived shortly after the power went out, landing on the roof of a nearby building. The oppressive aura of dread around this place was incredible. Themisto shivered at the sights and sounds of the skittering mass of youma below them. His eyes went wide, never having seen so many of the bastards in one place before. Kallichore touched his shoulder for support and he yelled, "DENEBOLA! WE'RE HERE TO SAVE PERN! ...AND KICK SOME a**! ...probably!" The eternal by his side chuckled. "Yes, excellent intro. I'm sure she appreciates it very much, Themisto." Kallichore dropped to the ground and landed atop one of the smaller youma, crushing it beneath the force of her drop. She walked on as if she were returning a library book. Themisto dropped close by. "Yeah well yer mom."Quote: Themi and Kalli are open for interactions as well!

Super Sailor Nephthys.Genevieve had been patrolling on her own, as Kallichore had mentioned something about being out with her brother, when her phone had started to buzz like mad. From pocket space, she really wasn't sure what to call where her phone came and went from, the senshi of vampires pulled her phone out and took a look at the screen. An urgent message, like the sort that should have a red flashing light attached to it, was going off. Someone was in big trouble and was calling for all senshi, and knight, help.
Biting her lip, as she was alone, she shook her head and made for the location. She knew she was alone now but she wasn't the only one getting this call. She wouldn't be alone once she arrived, she couldn't be.
As the cities power flickered before dying the frilly senshi, she really wondered why that wasn't her sphere, arrived at the location. It really wasn't all that easy to see considering the streetlights were out as was every other source of light.
She could however feel others...an eternal and another senshi and then another...
Turning around to try and locate who she couldn't see she called out - hoping to be heard and found.Lucifer Force Kallichore! Your other baby senshi is here! Also, open for interactions.

Deciding that he needed a break from all the studying, Proteus was enjoying the city sights from the rooftops when he heard his senshi phone ring at the distress signal that was sent out. Whipping out the phone from his pocket, he swiped the screen to retrieve a map of the city, trying to locate the source of the distress signal when he saw the lights flicker out within the vicinity of the power plant in the distance.
Right there then.
He returned the phone to his pocket and started towards the power plant, bracing himself for whatever he would find there.

The first thing Proteus noticed the moment he reached the power plant were the many youmas that had gathered in the darkness. Something that was terribly unusual given the previous run-ins that he had with them which led him to believe that they tend to operate alone and weren't capable of highly organised behaviour like this unless... someone or something more intelligent was leading them. That would make perfect sense behind what was happening then.
It seemed that there were others like him around but he couldn't seem to quite grasp what or where they were. It was almost as if something was interfering with his ability to sense them but there was no time to stand around and try to figure that out with so many youmas out and about. Guess he would have to figure these things along the way as he went about punching the youmas with his fists before they had a chance to unleash chaos upon the unsuspecting civilian populace within the city.
