Scylla was taking a break. She wasn't going to move. Nothing could make her do it. Right now? Her entire being was focused on one, inalienable truth, and that truth was that she was ancient, and might have thrown her hip out. To be clear, the youma had thrown her hip out. She was just dealing with the consequences of its rudeness. Who would have expected that a monster didn't know how to treat a lady? Her, probably, before; Her, definitely, now.

Opening the dessert box that lay on the seat next to her, Scylla unwrapped the first of her store-made, cheap and probably vile mini-cupcakes, opening her mouth and slowly accepting the preservatives and the carbs and the damning carbohydrates and... there was nothing healthy or good about this situation at all, besides the fact it wasn't alcoholic. Indeed- it was being joined by a bottle of water. Not even hot cocoa tonight. Just plain water.

The park was quiet and still, and as she sank her teeth into the cupcake, she stretched her leg out, listening to her ankle pop. It wasn't ideal, but at least she wasn't getting her face bashed in tonight.

As she chewed on the delicious- okay, no, this nasty-a** cupcake was clearly store bought, and a complete tragedy. Scylla's sigh was loud and displeased. She had really hoped that her decision to save a couple dollars wouldn't be this blatantly nasty. Unfortunately, store-bought cupcakes were cheap from their packaging to their overly sugary icing.

The approach of an Order aura piqued her interest, and she lowered the cupcake to her lap, adjusting it out of sight, and so hopefully out of mind. Maybe her (admittedly presumed) ally would be interested in helping her out by taking these sugary monstrosities and discarding them. Or eating them. There were a lot of options, and frankly her biggest concern was getting them away from her before she succumbed to her sweet tooth and took another bite of the nasty things.

She remained in place as the aura approached, lifting up her head to the figure as it came in sight, hand lifting in a wave. "Hello~" she greeted. "You're out late. Want a cupcake?"

The kid looked high school age, at best, though Jada knew there were younger. Was it ethical to try and load him up on sugar and then send him home? Probably not, but then it was also only dubiously ethical to be a magical 'terrorist' wandering the streets with cupcakes. Batman wasn't always ethical either, and she was pretty sure Zora would try and compare her to Batman- if her sister knew she was a senshi.

But her thoughts digressed.

"My wing-things are different," Scylla agreed without explanation, "But I'm a good guy." Usually. "But then you can feel that I'm Order, not Chaos." Or he should. She'd never thought to ask if her thought-provoking uniform made her feel any different to those around her. She'd just assumed- no one had ever accused her of corruption for the uniform, so she'd thought they could just feel it.

"Cupcakes. I was out here celebrating the fact I'm getting old. How better to do that than by giving yourself cavities?"

She wasn't even 25 yet. She felt so much older.

It seemed she had confused him, and she hadn't even managed to fob off her cheap-o store-bought cupcakes on him yet. Damn. She'd have to be pushier. Or something. (She was an awful adult.) She was going to say something else when the other senshi sidelined her- "Yes," Scylla replied, teeth flashing as she offered a smile, "Probably, anyways."

There were lots of youma with starseeds. "Scylla. Were you one of the people who turned up to try and help get it back?" she had a laundry list of senshi she'd not been able to get in touch with to thank. "Senshi of the Kraken. I was helping a friend and... well. We had a small crisis." or a huge crisis. Depending on how Scylla was panicking at the moment. "Kind of got starseed stolen." and it was her fault. "But it turned out okay!" mostly.

She reached into her sash, tugging out the last of the thank-you cards. "What's your name?"

Tomlin! That had been the name of the cat that had detected the stolen starseed. "There were a lot of auras," she agreed, "Mostly summoned by the emergency signal, I think." The bright light? Off the top of her head, she couldn't think of which light it could have been, but frankly... well. She'd had about a dozen other things on her mind, and lights weren't what stuck out to her.

The way the Mars knight had gone toe to toe with the half-human Cinnabar, the way it had felt with youma tearing into her flesh, the way they had all missed the youma trolololling off with Isaiah's starseed in... paw? The visit to her planet, the wave of relief, the way that other knight had looked so betrayed by Scylla's contact with Scholomance, the friends she'd yet to properly thank.

It seemed, however, that tonight was a night for chances. "Oort!" it was a name with a card, and she tugged out the card for Tomlin too. "Who else was with you that night? I have a few card I haven't been able to pass along. Thank you's, mainly. My friend wouldn't be alive without everyone who showed up." and chances were, Scylla wouldn't be either.

She watched the younger senshi tuck away the two cards, for himself and for Tomlin. Hopefully both of them would enjoy the small gift cards inside- but he mentioned another name, and she glanced down at the cards again. "I think I do have one for Oberon!" Giving it to Oort would make one more task a little lighter, and hopefully Oberon wouldn't feel slighted she'd chosen the 'easy' route of delivery. Sorting through the last of the cards, she passed it over to the chibi with a smile.

"I appreciate your help. You're right, it is getting late." Scylla nudged the cupcakes over to him as well, pushing herself off the bench before he could reject them or push them back in her direction. "I appreciate the delivery assistance for Tomlin and Oberon. You can keep those as thanks." three birds, for the delivery cost of one. They'd done her such a large favor, but she wasn't going to turn up her nose at a little bit of help on delivery when she still had so many people who hadn't taken their thank yous yet.

Running fingers over the back of her skirt to make sure nothing was sticking, she tossed the kid another grin. "Have a good night. Get home safe, okay? And send me if you need me. Anytime, okay?"

And with that, she made her departure, tucking the rest of the cards away, heels clacking over the sidewalk.
