The prevailing atmosphere at Chronos Outpost was one of jubiliation. Emotions ran high--could they have really done it? Destroyed the greatest enemy any of them, any of them, had ever faced--with no casualties?

Even the civilians had lived, back on Earth--someone had been down on Earth long enough to see them, hear the news of people appearing all over the place, alive and healthy as could be. The new Pages walked among them, too, uninjured--all the fighters, uninjured, Virgo Outpost's healing powers having washed over the entire Surrounding mere moments after its repair was complete. And the repair was complete--someone had gone to check, and there was not a fractured piece of the rainbow road anywhere, from Aries to Chronos to Aries again. Everything was whole. Together, through the powers of love and hope--"Love and ******** hope, why the hell do we even need fire or guns or anything," an aggravated Avalon Page could be heard to say passionately where she stood near a wall, her clothes completely repaired--they'd managed to take down the entire Negaverse. And their dragon, too. And the Dark Mirror Court.

It was a ******** miracle. And the only way to respond to miracles was to party your heart out.

Or at least, that's what the vast majority of people seemed to believe. Food had been brought out from Leo Outpost, chips and prepackaged deli meat and bread--nothing fancy, but after more than twenty-four hours of battling, no one felt especially picky. Everything just seemed... bright, and hopeful. If the small numbers of senshi they'd had at the battle had been enough to do that, what could the entire body of senshi do?

Hope. That characterized the entire gathering--hope.

Hephaistos grinned lazily in the light of the new surrounding. Was it new? Or the same one with a lovely paint job. He wasn't sure really but it felt damn good to be there with a lack of evil people trying to murder them that was indeed for sure.

Slumped in a chair he sipped at a drink enjoying the fact his arm wasn't as bad as it had been last time he visited. Life was right again and everyone was saved; well minus Lyra, she was still missing but now was not the time to dwell on such a thing during such a great victory.

"Hey do have any cheese whiz? That stuff is the best for a party...."

The one thing that dampened Nemesis' mood at the end of their battle was all the civilian lives that had been lost. Now, someone had checked back on Earth to discover that those civilians were, magically, not dead. Of course. Nemesis couldn't believe it. That they were all alive seemed to be an impossible feat, but such was the power of goodness that it could create such a miracle. With the civilians alive, Nemesis could actually feel good about their victory. They had come out completely on top. The Negaverse had been shoved out of space with a big "******** YOU". Nemesis couldn't feel better!

And they were going to party. She hadn't been able to celebrate anything in so long that she was definitely going to live it up tonight. Sailor Nemesis had snagged a bowl of chips, and was making a blatant show of eating until her heart was content. Nothing was better than some fattening chips after a hard cardio. She was feeling friendlier than ever, so much so that she wasn't barking someone's head off, or criticizing someone for how sloppily they fought. That was for later, for now, it was party time. "For being ******** amazing!" she congratulated herself first of all, and then stuffed her face with another handful of chips.

They were definitely salt and vinegar. She hated salt and vinegar, but she was too happy to care.

It wasn't often that the senshi gathered together in times of light; in light of victory. Most of their 'meetings' were due to conflict or battle, strife of some sort. This was different. Strange...

It was good.

Corvus, often found amongst other senshi with a scowl on her face, was... Smiling? Yes, the Senshi of Vengeance had a bright smile on her lips. She had touched base with Arsinoe long enough to make sure that he was alright before heading off to find food.

Apparently channeling the power of the Galaxy was something that would make you hungry. Imagine that.

Thisbe had fallen back as the first wave of healing energy had washed over the Surrounding. Arsinoe had mentioned that he had a friend here who was also a senshi, and while her curiosity had been piqued in regards to the male senshi who wore pink, she figured it would be best to give him a bit of time.

She had someone to check in on herself, after all. At the very least she wanted to find Virgo, to thank her, and Themis to make sure that he was alright.

"Screw that." Themis was slumped just as lazily on the back of the chair Hephaistos was in, looking much better for the wear after a quick stay at Virgo's.

"Someone brought some beer, right ?"

The civilians were fine - it seemed a miracle in itself, but... What about the senshi that had died ? The pages ? Were they gone, forever ?

A dark cloud in Themis' horizon, but he tried his best not to think of it... To not think of his failure.

Hesperis couldn't believe she'd passed out like a p***y.

Anyone had gotten the number of the truck that had hit her ? Of course, if anyone had told her she'd gotten the ******** punched out of her by a general king and had survived just fine (albeit in a very unconscious state), the teen was probably just gonna start gloating.

But for now, Hesperis was busy raiding the food. Good god. She was HUNGRY.

Hopefully Lina was bring some blue razz slushies.

For his part, Naica was busy being a wallflower. What else was new.

His arm was shiny brand new and he'd gotten to wash the blood off - even his uniform was back to being a pristine white, but... There was so much on his mind.

He was in a chair, in the back, golden eyes closed. If people thought he was asleep, no one would drag him in the crowd, right ?

The crowd was scary.

"You insult me Themis, beer, we had that covered from the start." He reached down beside him pulling a simple lone can from a small twelve pack holding it up waving it side to side at Themis behind him. "You earned it though; tentacle monster fighting, and Negaverse fighting? Suuuuure." With practice that was surely a sign of how he enjoyed some of his spare time as a civilian he opened the can in one hand passing it over fully.

"So this is what victory taste like huh? Party snacks and beer but no cheese whiz..."

There was a fluttering of light gray fabric at one of the far windows of Chronos Outpost, signifying the presence of an uninvited guest. Thankfully, it wasn't another agent of Chaos -- the energy around him was strange, but far from dark. An olive-tinted face grinned through the window, and crowfeather-black hair wafted around in the lack of gravity outside. Some, like Themis, would find his presence familiar. Virgo might remember him as well, and the Princess might have recalled Chibimoon talking about him once or twice.

Kurma gave a wave, and gingerly tapped at the window in a silent, polite request: mind if I come in? The rules of the Surrounding back fully in place, he was incapable of coming inside without permission.

Corvus had checked in with him and he'd been glad she was alright and was even smiling (though that was in itself kinda creepy). He'd always said that the senshi could do so much more if they only worked together and they'd finally proved it. He wasn't sure what they'd done exactly but it had worked for now. The Surrounding was lovely again and the Negaverse had been sent back somewhere. Everything was good for the moment and they could all celebrate.

Or Corvus could get food and thankfully not ask him about why he'd been blushing for what seemed like forever. At least Thisbe had wandered off before he'd run into his cousin.

Scylla sat on a chair in the corner, legs kicking as she watched everyone celebrating. And hell, why not? All of the casualties that had died in the bloody skirmish that had taken up most of the last few hours- how many had it been?- were restored. And she was alive, though she was haunted by something. Still, it was time for celebration, and celebrate she was going to.

She grabbed a bag of chips- sour cream and onion, her breath was going to smell terrible- and a small sandwich, moving around the room instead of going to sit back down. She'd earned this. She'd been here for far too long, hadn't called her boss to let him know she was out of town, and if she didn't get back to Earth soon, she was going to be even more hard-pressed to pay her rent than before. And you know what?

As she chowed down on her sandwich, she couldn't give less of a fig. They were alive, all of them. Hope had pushed the forces of Chaos back. Who would have believed it? "Give me one of those, please?" She reached beside Hephaistos and grabbed a can of beer, setting down her chips and sandwich to open it, awkwardly.

Everything was alright. The Surrounding had been restored, with no cracks in the rainbow road nor in the protective barrier that encased the Castle. The civilians were alive and healthy, and back where they belonged, and Chronos inwardly thanked the Opal Crystal for such a miracle. New Chronos Pages had sprung up and she had even heard word about that Cancer was alright now. Everything just seemed so perfect; they had came a long way from being captured and blown up in a building.

Chronos could only smile as she watched the happy Senshi celebrate, seated in a chair. After a few hours of sleep, she had finally awoken. While not fully recharged, she was content in this very moment.

"Nemesis!" Flora called out, a happy grin plastered on her face. The Senshi of Spring was still riding on the high of the post we-defeated-Chaos victory happiness and it felt good. A party was absolutely appropriate at this point of time. And hey, they were partying in space where nothing supernatural could stop them! Things felt normal, and she was perfectly fine with that. "We wooonn!" She threw an arm around Nemesis' neck, eyes sparkling. "It feels like it was all a dream, but it's actually real! Everything is repaired!"

Virgo, oddly, seemed to be the most solemn of the celebrants; you'd think she'd be riding down the waves of adrenaline that went with winning a game of space chicken against a Negaverse General and then destroying every chance the Negaverse had to destroy the Surrounding would have made her happy, but it didn't. She and Zue had gone on an exploration deep into the bowels of Chronos Castle, chasing a memory both of them had of small stone discs that had allowed foreign dignitaries the ability to come to the Surrounding whenever they needed to. They wouldn't allow exploration of the Outposts without an escort, but why would anyone need that?

The Surrounding belonged to all of them, now. It had been the White Moon senshi who had swung the balance, and it was wrong to shut them out from part of something they'd all worked so hard on together.

She held the first of the many passports in her hand as she solemnly approached the window, pressed her palm against it where Kurma had tapped. For a moment, she smiled impishly; and then she grabbed the sill and yanked it up, then shoved her hand out towards Kurma's face, a keychain dangling from her fingers.

It was a tiny disc of greenish tone, wound about in golden metal and inscribed with the signs of the Zodiac. In the center was the sign of the Sun; the sign of Sol System, reaching out to embrace the Zodiac. "It's a passport," she said. "You can come here when-ever you want, with one of these. Just keep it on you."

Did she begrudge Kurma his lack of appearance? A little, but she imagined he must have been busy with some kind of Space Cauldron thing. She'd forgive it, in memory of all the help he'd given them.

Quote:
SURROUNDING PASSPORTS

These thin discs of stone give you the ability to access the Surrounding as often as you can access your home planet. You cannot enter an Outpost, but you can explore the Road to your heart's content--and as an added bonus, it'll tell you when Chaos tries to take out the space construct by virtue of your bond with it!

God damn, you guys are cool.

Virgo and the Zodiacs will be giving these out to any who approach her during this RP; after this, you will have to approach an individual Zodiac for one, so get one now and save the time later!

Zero Dream
The next person the blonde senshi approached was Themis, another passport shimmering around her fingertips. Now that Zue had regained the art, the Zodiacs could summon a new passport with a thought. She held it out to him, the stone disc dangling. "In case you want to come back, Themis... This'll bring you back."

"Hey now I never said-" He paused when he realized who it was taking a beer now, it was the tentacle girl who had saved him almost as many times as Gunn. She was a blessing. "Alright since you happen to be the Senshi of 'helping save my sorry a**' just like Gunn you can have a beer, even two." He grinned tipping one he grabbed for himself to the girl before taking a long swig. "Thank you." The last part was said with deep seriousness, but his eyes betrayed his amusement and joy at being able to sit around like this with the people he had worked so hard with.
PostPosted: Sun Oct 16, 2011 7:36 pm

"No!" she had noticed Kurma outside, and knew well enough that he was a weird a** thing that did even weirder things. He was a space man. "Come. Back. With. Booze. Classy s**t. A Class s**t." It was practically an order, but Nemesis just wanted some good alcohol to enjoy the party with. She wasn't a beer drinker. She thought highly of herself, and apparently beer was too low for her alcohol tastes. Virgo was letting him in, which was a crime in itself when the man had nothing to offer the party with. He had sat out during the battle, the very least he could do was bring in some alcohol for them to party it up with.

She was distracted by a blonde senshi she knew all too well. Flora was a Zodiac now, sure, but they had been on the Dream Team together first. "Of course we won, you didn't have doubts, did you? I was there, of course we won," she answered haughtily. A strange thing happened then as Flora's arms wrapped around her neck, because Nemesis' arms wrapped around the girl's sides in a hug as well. A hug. "Some things I really can't believe. I'm still finding this all hard to believe. We deserve this though, a good, solid win."

The Celsus Page of Chronos was in an excellent mood.

The rebuilding of the entire Surrounding had taken hardly any time, but now it was looking completely and totally renewed, as if it hadn't had an enormous creature attempting to kill them all just a short while ago.

And the best part? The civilians were alive.

Celsus had done a lot of jumping up and down excitedly in the secluded space of one of the empty, dilapidated rooms of the Leo outpost when he'd found out - mostly because he had already flung himself exuberantly at both Peklo and Bifrost, leaping like a loon with happiness.

Of course, he'd also accidentally smeared blood all over the back of Peklos' brand new page outfit with his injured hand, but everything was clean and fixed again, his hand included.

Now, however - now was the time for celebration.

Though when he arrived, carting an enormous bag of cookies over one shoulder like a sack of potatoes (he'd found them in one of the kitchens at Leo, leftover from earlier), Celsus didn't see anyone he knew right off the bat.

Except for a very familiar senshi who looked more serious than she should have been, for such a joyous time among the zodiacs, senshi, and knights alike.

Celsus dumped the cookies on a table and ambled towards Virgo, though he didn't approach her quite yet. Instead he leaned against a nearby wall and waited, not wanting to interrupt her while she spoke to a few others.

Then he reached over, grabbed a soda (drinking wasn't really his thing, despite the happy situation), and proceeded to throw a couple cookies in his hand as well.
