Super Sailor Alya
“Oh, I agree, this is a much faster plan” Alya said easily; Whisler didn’t seem like he was slowing down by carrying him so Alya wasn’t going to complain. Especially not, because he was quite confident he’d twisted his ankle upon landing.
He wasn’t in immense pain, but he was confident he’d at least bruised it—if the warm, throbbing pain was anything to judge by. He pressed closer to Whisler, snuggling his head against his chest.
He wasn’t afraid of getting out of this place; Whisler was treating it like any other day in the park so Alya could only assume that it was.
It was almost comfortable enough that he could have just closed his eyes and taken a nap, but…
He didn’t get time with Whisler like this so often. He knew, realistically, that he shouldn’t enjoy this so much. But Elvira wasn’t here, and Alya could justify that he was just so traumatized…
He didn’t care where they went, just as long as Whisler was there.
“I’m doing much better now that I’ve found you,” he answered, finally. “I’ve really missed you, too. I always want to call or invite you over when it gets late.”
Or when he was lonely, or eating, or just thinking about anything that made him happy.

Sailor Malus
Malus breathed another sigh of relief and managed to relax a bit more when Lysithea kissed atop his head, but it was extremely short lived. He turned to face the figure Lysithea was trying to introduce him to—and he froze.
Blank faced and unresponsive, he simply stared at Airi for a long moment; the gears in his head jammed up and he couldn’t think. His mind felt like it was detached from his body, drifting through a haze of smoke and taking its sweet time to start working. Vaguely, Malus registered that he felt cold, or that he wasn’t breathing, or that his heart was pounding, but he couldn’t think of how to respond.
He couldn’t speak or move; visions of Airi flashed through his head. Airi in the Rift. Airi in the living room.
Finally, Malus managed to swallow; everything came back to him at once and hit him, hard. He forced a nod, tearing his gaze from Airi to Lysithea.
“Okay,” he said shortly. He was pale and clammy, but he drew in as calming a breath as he could muster. “That’s fine. You made a promise. He wasn’t going to try and convince her to change her mind; he just didn’t know how he was supposed to talk to Airi—not when Malus knew who he was, but Airi had no idea.
Maybe it was better that way; it was less complicated, at least.
He looked between her and the youma again. “It’s nice to see you,” he said, barely getting the words out before he corrected, “M-Meet you. Sorry,” he blurted, “This place has me all messed up. I’m Malus.”
Malus, he repeated in his head, to remind himself.
“Do you need any help?” he asked the youma, very well aware of how silly the request must have seen given how small Malus was.
While running the General was not expecting, though he had been hoping, to find his cousin. Spotting the familiar blond hair, he'd been turning to look behind himself, and the figure stood out. A smile took form upon the Generals features before he was turning around fully and pushing back against people in order to get to his cousin. He wasn't leaving him alone in this, he was still new to things like this.
"Cuprite." Reaching the taller blond he reached up with a hand to lay it on the others larger, more muscular, arm. "You went missing and I worried for you." Keeping his voice low, hoping to minimize the amount of people who heard. He didn't want to give them a weakness of his but at the same time he had worried for his cousin, he wouldn't hide that from the other.
"Stay with me." Reaching out to grasp one of the others hands he led him back towards the front of the crowd and to where the path split. "Let's go down...less distance, I think, if we fall somehow?" He offered up as his reasoning, though he knew it was a poor reason for his choice. There was honestly nothing offered to any of them to help in making the choice.
"When we get back from this." There was no question of if they would get out of this - they would. "I'm not letting you out of my sight." Nope, he was not letting his cousin escape his gaze for a long time, at least not when powered up.
Cuprite kept glancing around as he ran with the others, both keeping an eye out for anyone he knew as well as an eye on their surroundings in case things took yet another change. The flashes of light and smoke walls set the small hair on the back of his neck rising, as well as the different colors. He was so far out of his depth at the moment but it was clear he couldn't do anything else about it other then following the crowd for now. Finally they got to a three way split in the path and he looked from one to another trying to decide which way to go.
Before he could decide though, a very familiar voice caught his attention. With a relieved smile on his face, the blond looked over at his short cousin. "Sorry to worry you, I'm not honestly sure how I was caught, how about you? When did you get caught? How long was I missing for anyway?" He asked, keeping his voice low as well out of reaction to Benitoite's tone.
Cuprite nodded in agreement and gripped the General's hand back as he was lead to one of the paths, this one going down. "Sure, less distance is always a plus." He did however really hope neither of them fell. The promise/threat that his cousin gave had Cuprite rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand and a sheepish smile on his face. "You don't have to do that, Ti- General." He stopped himself from saying the other's nickname just in case of listeners.

Lace wasn't sure what kept her with the young senshi, especially now that she could see there was nega's and corrupt senshi all over the area. Something told her though that if she left Adria, the boy would be hurt and she didn't want that to happen either! Senshi were just as important to her, regardless of their alliance.
Lace clung to the young man, even as he picked her up and cradled her close and she burrowed her head in his chest.
"Be..Be careful!" The paths were odd, and she didn't want Adria to hurt himself anymore from here then nesscary! "If..If you drop me, It'll be okay too! I can land on my fe...feet!" She nodded, "Y..you have to take care of yourself though!" Even if she wanted to escape too, there was more important things.

"Thank you..." He murmured softly, moving to stand closer to Lysithea, vaguely hoping her presence would distract his attention from the others around them. Stupid stupid stupid... Ah man this was a bad idea. Airi caught the tail end of Lysithea's comment and snorted, with a small shake of the head. "Right because spending time with me is a bad thing.." He retorted flatly, weakly. Who knew. Maybe it was.
Airi simply shook his head and whined lightly, missing Malus' stunned moment as the youma rubbed his muzzle against the girl. "It's nice to meet you too... I just wish it was under different circumstances." Was that awkward to say? It felt awkward... To many scenarios on what those 'different circumstances' could be. Oh well... Too late now. "It's alright... This place is messing with me too. I've never scene anything like it. It's... nothing like where I'm from."
The youma blinked, before his ears flattened and for a moment he almost looked scared. "Uh... Kinda. Just... Keep me focused on getting out of here... Or on you guys and not everyone else. I'm a little afraid of what might happen otherwise... I told Lysithea just to pet me, or keep a hand on me. You can do the same if you want."
He nuzzled against Lys again, careful of the spike on his nose. "Where are we going? I can't lead... I don't trust my senses... or myself."
The path branched before them and Hopeite was faced with a choice. Where did she go? Down into oblivion? Straight into the fog? Up out of sight? There didn't seem to be a good choice... She glanced at Harmonia and set her face in a hard expression. Somewhere int eh back of her mind, she was blindingly angry that this child was now, suddenly, her charge. But at the end of the day it was about getting out. So she grabbed Harmonia's hand and screamed over the din of voices and running feet, "we need to gain the higher ground! Take the steps two at a time and follow me!"
Altais was obviously sweating from pain, but he'd had worst and he'd just have to suck it up. His shoulder burned with pain but he knew soon enough that it would fix itself.
Since he didn't wanna worry the young lady, he patted her on the head and carried her carefully with his one arm.
"Don't worry Julienne!" He winked at her, "You're not even that heavy! I wouldn't complain about getting to carry a pretty lady around!" At her suggestion, he took the stairs two at a time with his long legs, the only reason his breath catching was because of the shoulder pain.
"Where the hell are we going in the place? I hope higher up means that I get to see somewhere up there you know? You doing okay?"
Adamantine, at one point, had chosen the straight and narrow path since it seemed less likely to cause trouble. At least she thought it would but since it was narrow enough to make her let go of the two siblings AND attempt to walk on her own, she was moving at a even slower rate.
Part of her felt stupid for choosing such a path and she thought probably that Stella and Epidote thought the same. She was too stubborn to not keep going and regardless of her careful steps, she kept her normally stoic face. (though a couple beads of sweat slowly rolled down her cheek, her ankle hurting more then she had thought.)

Eternal Harmonia
With the split in the path ahead of them, Harmonia instantly found herself drawn to the stairs leading downwards. If this were a fictional castle in one of the many novels she read, downward usually meant getting out of a tower.
Then again it could mean entering a dungeon too. Whatever.
She wanted to go down and moved n that direction, but Hopeite's tight grip on her hand, the pull in another direction, and the shouted words stopped the Eternal from her descent. "Alright!" She yelled as she was already being pulled to the ascending 'staircase'. With great relief, she noted that the group of people had split amongst the three pathways, making it easier to move and less claustrophobic. Of course, Harmonia couldn't help but worry about anyone, themselves included, who may have taken the wrong path.

Knight Hy-Brasil
The path ahead split. The Knight could see it, and immediately her eyes drew to the descending blocks. The straight path, though easy looking, was ominous with the clumping of clouds, fog, gas, or whatever it was that was obscuring the path past a few steps. Going upwards would just be taxing, and who knew how long it would go on for? No. Downwards was the best choice.
The Knight, trying to guide her charge towards said path found herself bumping and rustling into the bodies of others scrambling for their chosen destination. In the process, she felt the hands of the page disappear from her body. Blue eyes couldn't even find the page amongst the cluster. "Babel?!" She shouted for the page but continued to be swept up with the tide. She'd made her choice in direction and now the ocean of people kept her on that track.
She was soon upon the stepping blocks and finally had some room without fear of being pushed from her perch as people slipped past her.
She'd lost Babel. The page was nowhere in sight. "Damn!" She cursed but had no choice but to continue on. Perhaps the page had managed to just be pushed ahead of her? Hy-Brasil would just have to hold onto that hope.
Pythia had always loved mirrors. Mostly for her own vain purposes – ensuring her cheeks were appropriately rose, her eyes bright, her cheeks pinked to reflect appropriate energy and vivacity. She did not try and spend too much time looking into them, of course. There were many better things to do, and one did not want to seem too terribly vain. But she was somewhat concerned that from this point on, she might never be able to look at a mirror the same way again. Even an inanimate object couldn't be treated with the same lack of suspicion after it kidnapped you.
Kidnapping was certainly what this was, even if she wasn't exactly a 'kid' anymore! There she had been, minding her own business, wandering down the street in this magical little 'Imbrium' costume that she got to wear, and next thing she knew it was like the world was cracking around her. From life and the distant sounds of society and civilization to a dearth of such in mere seconds. The shift was disconcerting and uncomfortable, and almost nauseating in suddenness. Magical bullshit, the more she thought about it. That was the only explanation for all of this- drama.
The only way to explain how the world went from light to dark, and then shattered into pieces around her, sending her into a freefall not unlike she imagined imagined for Alice entering Wonderland for the first time. Falling through choking, burning blackness, with shards of mirror twinking around them like small stars in the distance, guiding them to someplace that Imbrium was increasingly certain she wouldn't like, once they-- landed. Her impact was rough, sudden; she lay there for a brief moment, trying to recalibrate confused senses, but already she could feel the itch of wrongness sliding its way up her spine. Thanks, but no thanks. She shoved to her feet, teal eyes taking in what they could. A singular platform. A thin path. Lots of people- competition.
And then the cracking of the platform. Loud, startling, and possibly due to the sheer amount of weight on it. There was going to be a stampede, and she was running behind because of her jarring landing. As Pythia began to try and make her way towards the singular path, she counted an equally singular blessing that she hadn't twisted an ankle, but just been stunned. She was sure there were people actually injured. It was her pleasure to leave them behind, to try and save herself. Every one left behind was one less ounce on the path, one less body between her and possible survival.
She was towards the back of the crowd, but not in last place. It meant there were people in her way, to give her a better look at the strange scape in the distance. Shaking was under her feet as she desperately shoved her way forward, trying not to focus on the people who were being lost behind her, the people being shoved from the path ahead of her. They were splitting, ahead, and from where she was, she had a moment to try and decide where to go. Straight ahead was a default, and with the cracking as it was..... no. Downwards was a danger- who knew how the path was anchored? Upwards. She would have to go upwards.

1-3: It takes you a moment to gather yourself; you scramble to your feet but by injury, clumsiness, or the sheer number of people that beat you onto the path, you get a late start.
Quote:
4-7: You choose the stairs leading upwards. Maybe higher ground will grant you a better vantage? You are met with only darkness, but it is easy to skip two steps at a time and hasten your trip.
The sudden shift in venue from a prison, in which Scylla was spending time with Kallichore, to a free-fall through mirrorspace was.... more expected than Scylla cared to admit. It had been a long time since the senshi of the Kraken had seen (much less experienced) anything remotely like this- Alexandros, Laocoon, Ares, and the others had mirrorwalked swiftly, almost instantaneously. The breath between one moment and the next was hardly anything close to this hellish eternity. And when they had escorted her through the mirror, there hadn't been need for a fear, because the Chaos had been purged from the parallels and the mirror. Or so she'd been told. Perhaps even so they had thought. Perhaps it had been true.
Making a**-first contact with the white platform had her eyes widening in a quiet, pained grunt. But landing a**-first gave her the ability to scramble back to her feet quickly, looking around for Kalli. Looking for anyone that she happened to know and recognize in this crowd of wayward kidnapees. She thought there might be a few familiar figures, but she couldn't quite say for sure. She wasn't going to take the time to say for sure- for beyond the reaches of the rotating white platform onto which the prisoners were falling, there lay shards of broken mirror, twinkling. Watching. Wretched pieces of shimmering stars, glittering like the broken pieces of the old court, before it had gone dark.
Nope, Scylla was not doing this. She was done with it! There were too many other things to be concerned about in her life right now, and this? This was not acceptable! Not that magical hoodoo had ever taken her opinions into consideration before. And it certainly didn't now, as there came a loud crack, and the platform began to splinter. With a soft curse, the senshi of the Kraken rose to her feet and began to move off the platform, grateful she had landed closer to this side, with a visible way off, instead of on the far side, where there wasn't anything she could see from here. But she wasn't taking the time to look, either.
The path was narrow, and shuddering. There was no obvious cause, but she could only assume it was the weight of so many captured people, all landing on one small platform, and all trying to rush down one narrow path. It could be a trick of this mirror-space, but then the pieces were falling- and so, it seemed, were people. She moved, not looking back behind her, looking more at the path ahead of her and less at the empty space that mocked them. Something akin to lightning would drag her attention to pastel clouds in the distance, before she looked down to the present danger.
Behind her, the path was falling to pieces, and Scylla wasn't sure what she could do about it. Try and catch them and risk her own loss to the emptiness below? So she ran, taking a moment to size up the divergence ahead. Up, down, or straight ahead. Straight was narrow, Up was doable but her legs were short. Down would be easiest, fastest, and... who knew how any of them would be ending up anyway?
Down she went.

General Benitoite
With his cousin close at hand, literally, the ashen blond was calmed and relieved he was alright so far. He didn't seem to have any injuries, and he had glanced him over, if he was hiding anything and Benitoite found out later Hudson would find out just what a mother hen his younger cousin could be. Though he also would scold his cousin, and which was worse was up for debate really.
"Benitoite here, you don't need to use ranks." It was also less formal and as close to using his real name, or a nickname, as his cousin could get with him right here and now. Running his fingers through his ashen hair he moved towards the downward stairs as he kept his cousin right behind him, holding onto the others hand still. "I don't need to but I will. I won't have any of my officers being hurt or kidnapped. I want to make sure after this you are safe, I'll be doing the same with any other officers of mine who are here." Once he found any that is, and he would find them if they were here.
"You went missing for several days. I was out looking for you.You were safe where you were? Food, water, sleep? No fighting or any such things?" He questioned, finally, his cousin should have expected it. Once they were safely on course, to who knows where, it was bound to happen.
Poor little Charybdis was terribly confused by the startling events of the evening. She had been hard at work making costume plans for the Halloween event that she wanted to host (with Jada's help, of course, someone had to write the checks!) and planning costumes and what kind of gifts she could give out to the massive hordes of people she was sure would want to get a present from her, when the world sort of shook, and then everything started breaking into little bits and pieces! The walls, and the sky, and the floor, and everything went all light and dark and WHOO and scary! She wasn't sure that she liked it all that much.
She sure was not very fond of the falling part. It was scary, and Giulia was just glad that she was 7 now, and not the kind of child to like, pee herself just cuz she got scared by stupid little scary places like this. Plus, Lucia was probably around here somewhere, and Giulia herself had magic now- she'd been told! So clearly this was all going to be okay. She fell through the hot, chokey cloud of nasty smoke, squeezing big blue eyes tightly closed and trying to hold her breath. The landing was not gentle, and was real super-not-expected.
There were lots of magical people around, and that was the most fas- fas- fussin-ate-ing thing about the whole big fall. So many magical people- and now she was one of them! Kind of. She had not had to fight one of the big monster things, of course. That was good. Her magic probably wasn't really shiny like Ara's and she wasn't sure it could do much. Her magical power was apparently seals, and unless she could attack the monster by screaming ORK ORK at them... and even then she didn't know how much it would help in this sit chew a shun.
There was lots of cracking and scared people all around her, and in some ways that was the worst part of all of it. In the mess she couldn't see anyone she knew- none of her magical friends, and she didn't see a kitty, and people were running and shoving and Giulia was short and couldn't see past most people's waists and everything was dramatic and she was SEVEN. It was a very real scary kind of intro ducks in to the whole 'being a senshi' life. She joined the herd of old people running for something, trying to keep up without getting in anyone's way. It kind of felt like there might be some shoving, and-
Animals did a heard panic kind of thing, and Giulia could hear lots of panic and scary cracks, and things she was scared to look for. What was happening, out there past all the tall people? She couldn't see- there were people going up, right ahead of her, and so maybe everything was- Oh. OH. Giulia wasn't going to be going up, no more than she would be able to go down, where some other people were. It was too late for that; she had been spilled out of the crowd onto a thin, narrow extension of the path they were on, straight, and kind of scary with less people to make her feel like a safe Giuli-sandwich.
Not that she had felt like a- move forward, Giulia. The chibi clasped her hands together, squaring narrow shoulders under her little cloak, puffing out a breath bravely. She couldn't hold up the line being scared- people might get hurt. She wouldn't like that at all! She would have to be careful, but... she could do this... right?
