It was a fierce battle, but Puck had prevailed over the Negaverse captain. Bruised and bloody, the enemy lay unconscious in a heap in the alley, hopefully to be found and dispatched by a feral youma. Puck didn't walk away unscathed, however; he was scuffed and bleeding and his uniform was torn in spots (though somehow it always managed to repair itself between power-ups). Still, he had won, and that was the important thing. One less Nega on the streets tonight.

The exhausted Super Senshi leapt to the top of a nearby building and sat down to recover a bit before heading home. It was hard work, fighting the forces of Chaos, especially when one was doing it alone. He probably could twist Eros' arm to patrol with him, but she wasn't that useful in a fight and besides, she had her own agenda. There was Faust, who might know someone whom Puck could partner up with, but the big Mauvian was as elusive as non-magical cats were.

Puck wiped the dirt and sweat from his forehead with his faux-leafy bracer and looked out over Destiny City. Out there were other senshi who were going it alone, so why couldn't he? Maybe it was just something about him; he'd always preferred playing in a band than going solo, like he was with his busking. There was something about the camaraderie, bonding over the shared experience, that he was missing. And he didn't want to try to assemble his own group of senshi to fight with, because he still didn't know what he was doing. It wasn't just that he wanted someone to patrol with -- he wanted someone to verify that he was doing it right.

Oh well. He slowly got to his feet, automatically brushing the dirt off his rear, then he chuckled to himself. His butt was now probably the cleanest part of him.

Puck had just barely stood and wiped the dirt off his bum than a white-clad leaping person appeared in front of him and nearly knocked him over with the impact of her shoulder against his. He caught a glimpse of long dark hair and violet eyes wide with surprise before he spun and caught himself lest he fall off the roof. Super Senshi or no, he didn't think he would have survived the fall too well.

Once he'd recovered his balance, he turned his attention to the girl who had bumped into him. She was a tiny thing, for all she'd nearly sent him tumbling off the roof, and clearly White Moon, though with the strange blue wings at her hips he knew she was an Eternal.

"Yeah, I'm fine." A stray leaf fluttered to the ground from his head as he mussed his dreadlocks. "I'm sorry, is this your roof? I apologize for trespassin' if I stepped out of line or something…" He had no idea what to say to an Eternal -- he'd never really met one before. Did they have some kind of rank over Supers and regular Senshi? "Are you okay?" he asked almost as an afterthought. "You took a bit of a lick there."

Despite himself, Puck smiled down at the petite Eternal. "Pleasure to met you. Puck, of the Woods" he said as he accepted Scylla's offered hand. "I should have been paying more attention meself -- coulda gotten out of your way. An' I just beat the snot out of a Nega down there, an' who knows if he's going to wake up anytime soon." He shook his head at his own stupidity, another leaf falling to the ground. What if that captain had woken up and wanted revenge? Puck would have been pretty well screwed.

Scylla was attractive, at least, a lot of gold adornments in her fuku, and… was that an octopus on her tiara? He tried not to stare, but it was hard not to. What kind of powers did this girl have? Octopus powers?

Finally releasing her hand, he rubbed his shoulder. "For such a tiny thing, you sure pack a wallop," he grinned, falling back on his British charm to smooth things over. "D'you hunt solo? I don't reckon an Eternal such as yourself needs much help in the fighting department, but if you ever do, I'm available..." Puck's grin went lopsided. He may have just gotten himself in trouble with her, but it would be worth it.

Obliging Scylla's request as she raised her senshi phone, Puck held still and gave her a lopsided smile. "Cheese," he said, drawing out the eeeee part of the word. "My turn." He retrieved his phone and snapped her picture, adding her automatically to his contacts (of which he had pathetically few, he noted). Eternal Sailor Scylla, Senshi of the Kraken. Ahh, that explained the octopus. Kraken, though… He could only imagine the tentacles.

He shooed that imagery out of his mind. "A merry ragtag band of patrol partners, you say?" He folded his arms across his chest, rubbing his chin thoughtfully with one hand. Maybe patrolling with a group would be nice, having a group of senshi that looked out for each other, that had strengths that complemented the rest of the group. His own magic was mainly defensive in nature, though he had found a way to use it offensively when he used his Super magic on that Dark Mirror the other day. And if she was offering…

"You know, I might be interested in whatever ragtag band you end up forming," he nodded. "More fun with a group, patrolling, yeah? At least more chance of really doing some damage."

"Well," Puck grinned, "if you're hiring, I reckon I'm in. I don't really have a set schedule, but I'm out nearly every night patrolling. And if it involves making the Negaverse look bad an' beating them up in the process, so much the better."

His expression turned a bit more serious. "You know, an' this is something I've thought pretty much since this whole senshi s**t happened. It seems to me like those of us on th' side of Order could use a bit more organization, you know what I mean? Maybe that's what this merry band of yours could help rectify. With a bit more teamwork an' leadership on our side, we could kick the Negaverse's arse up one side of this city an' down the other, yeah?" The grin returned to his lips, lopsided and wicked. "And some more people willin' to put in the effort, as you said."

He offered his hand to Scylla. "So yeah, I'm in. Deal?"

"Good, good," Puck nodded. "The more the merrier, yeah?" He didn't have anyone he could coerce into joining up -- he knew so few senshi. There was Eros, of course, but convincing her to do anything was like pulling teeth; she preferred to run on her own, apparently, or just with him. Though things could have changed since he'd gotten back from London… He'd have to ask. Pry.

"So this team you're looking to form… I'm not interested in no leadership position, cause I tend to be a bit dictatorial, if you get my drift," he grinned sheepishly, shuffling his feet. "But I'd be more'n happy to help you brainstorm an' stuff. An' having a group to train with would be really nice, you know?"

He thought about his magic. "I can't make a mess of things with me magic, really, but it's pretty good for gettin' people out of the way…"

Regardless of whether he was in his civilian form or his powered form, Puck was not one to turn down a free meal. "You got it, love, I'm game for dinner," he grinned. He was getting excited too -- the idea of patrolling and training with a group, a team, was seemingly a reality. "An' I'm all for a little get-together with the other people you have in mind for this team. I'd like to meet them anyway -- I know so few White Moon senshi, from all my patrolling alone, you know?"

The blond senshi shuffled his feet. "So, erm, how we gonna do this? Dinner, I mean. We can't go out like this," and he gestured at his fuku. "I don't know how amenable you are to givin' out your civvie info…"

Puck almost whistled aloud as Scylla powered down, mentally associating the senshi with the civilian. Jada was gorgeous, like model gorgeous. (The belly-button ring was a cute touch.) And she looked classy, too, which was more than he could say for himself.

And powering down in front of each other? That was one way to do it. Quick and dirty indeed.

"Right-o." He powered down too; the leaves in his long blond dreads vanished and his raggedy fuku was replaced by black. Black skinny jeans, a black tank top, black stompy boots. A curved barbell piercing gleamed in his lower lip as he grinned at her and took her hand. "Robin Attewood. Pleasure to meet you too. You make a lovely dinner companion, Jada."

He looked around at the rooftop and shrugged with a chuckle. "Dunno how we're going to get down from here to enjoy dinner, though…"
