Athalia - Senshi of Hercules Beetles (Square: F5)

As if Sylvite wasn't enough to content with! He really shouldn't have been surprised, all things considered there was a more heavy leaning chaotic aura in this immediate vicinity and it was a given that at some stage they would converge on one of the few Order 'pulses' in the zone. Unfortunately for him the speed at which his newest visitor had entered the fray had thrown a spanner in the works in terms of his personal timing.

While he had been attempting to dodge Sylvite, sweeping backwards with a hand raised to greet at least one dagger with his new handguard. He had instead (perhaps unintentionally) been caught in the middle of Nakhett's grand entrance. Successfully darting between him and Sylvite, those lightning claws he half glimpsed at managed to catch against his hand. Alas, while that little guard posed the ability to block a literal weapon it was not magic proof and the 'jolt' of electricity through his arm had not be appreciated.

Small favours though, it had spun him backwards slightly and while he did catch his footing again he did have to cast a forlorn gaze towards his tingling fingers. They were 'alive', not quite as responsive as he would like at this point due to the pins and needles sensation, but they were still useable. Nevertheless he didn't have much time at all to process the interruption as he gave his arm several quick shakes and looked up to assess who, or what, had interrupted his reunion with the General.

...Oddly enough the senshi who had intervened seemed moderately familiar.

If he'd caught half of her howls right, then the familiarity hadn't exactly come from a positive encounter either way.

Wonderful, did he really have to take on both a General and another Senshi? Somehow he didn't anticipate that the magic he possessed would last that long, even if he did have the benefit of being imbued with a little more than he once had.

Corrupt Super Sailor Noctua -- D6 to C5

Noctua loved the way Benitoite loved her lust for battle. She slunk ahead of him, avoiding flying attacks with ease. Her pale blue eyes scanned the fray for an easy target. Someone too preoccupied and frightened to put up too much of a fight. Someone to warmup on.

And that was when she found him.

A new Senshi, or at least a basic one. If he had a mentor, then they had been separated. This meant that when the dust settled and everyone was cleared, the Senshi in charge of this one would find a seedless body, trampled by other unseeing soldiers. It was too easy, she lamented vaguely, to whirl the Senshi around and pull out his soul.

She held it in the palm of her hand and turned to see if her General had seen her performance.

Tegmine hadn't been awake for long, but he had learned what felt familiar and what didn't quickly. And so when a Dark Mirror energy signal blinked onto his radar, he made a beeline for it. His little sister may have not have been able to order him around when they were themselves, but here he respected her experience and authority.

For now.

So he did what he was told and made for the Dark Mirror in the middle of the fray with every intention of getting them out.

Until he saw them fighting a White Moon Senshi.

He knew what Acubens told him about staying out of unnecessary fights, but this one seemed pretty necessary. After all, one of them was being attacked, right? And when one of them was being attacked, he was obliged to fight with them, right?

"Tegmine Desert Preservation," he called, throwing his hand out as he waited for his magic to, hopefully, take effect.

And it did. Magical sand poured from his hand directly at the White Moon Senshi. It was one of maybe four times this attack had actually worked, and Tegmine was immensely proud of himself.

Late Bloomer Senshi Dice Mech That I Made Myself for Tegmine
1-2: lol bet linda
3: Backfire
4: Oh dip, it worked!

Sailor Scout Attack: Tegmine Desert Preservation
Inspired by the mummies of paupers found in the deserts of Egypt. Tegmine calls out the name of his attack and holds out his hand and sand erupts from the palm of his hand. The sand, upon reaching the target, totally engulfs the target and begins the first stages of dehydrating them. Skin begins to feel tighter, joints grow stiff, and vocalization becomes difficult as the sand draws moisture from the body. The attack can reach five feet from him and can hit one target. The effects last for 25 seconds, and once the attack is done, the physical effects wear off. However, lingering thirst from dehydration may persist. May be used 2 times per battle.

Sailor Tachibana, Chibi Senshi of Chrysanthemums - G5

Tachibana received the call for help while she was out on patrol. She was hesitant to answer it, she had gotten a little better at fighting but she wasn't sure how much she would be able to help in a true all out battle between Order and Chaos. But still she felt it was her responsibility to go and at least try to assist where she can.

So she made her way to the park where the battle was already underway. It was scary there were so many order and chaos fighters engaging fiercely with one another. She didn't even know where to start to help. Then she saw one Super Senshi face down a Captain and a Corrupt Senshi alone. Her power wasn't much but maybe she could even the playing field a little bit.

She made her way towards the group as inconspicuously as possible. She hoped her magic could provide a distraction against the captain for the Super to attack him or the other Senshi. "Tachibana Thousand Petal Vortex" She sent a vortex of countless golden petals at the Captain.

Sailor Scout Attack: Tachibana Thousand Petal Vortex
Tachibana holds her hand out and calls out the name of her attack as a vortex of golden petals fly towards her opponent. They don't do any damage but they can obscure her opponents vision and distract them.

Captain Bloodstone - made their way to A3

Bloodstone kept close to Roselite as they made their way through the trees, and while he didn’t react much to Roselite throwing his butter knife at the Squire they happened to bump into, he did not stand by as what looked like a child made to attack Roselite.

With his horseman’s pick in his hand, Bloodstone took a merciless swing at the Chibi Senshi before she could kick Roselite in the back. Which honestly was probably a bit overkill since he fought all of his years as a Lieutenant with just his over two decades worth of kickboxing skills.

Age meant nothing to him. If child soldiers were being trained to fight the Negaverse and help conquer the Earth, then he was going to just n** the problem in the bud. Quite literally. If they were old enough to be out after dark and attack whomever they wanted, they were old enough to face the consequences of their actions.

Lt. Turquoise - G4

There was a call for assistance while Turquoise was on patrol. It was from a general which meant it was important for her to obey and arrive at the place as soon as possible. Eventually she arrived at the park. It was clear she wasn't the only one getting the call. Silently, the petite learned against the nearest tree, carefully examining the situation…. and secretly feeling the certain mauvian wasn't here, at least to her knowledge.

Quote:
Turq is open for interaction!

Chaos cat Cora -B5

Meanwhile, on the other side of the park, a certain mauvian had picked up many energy signatures. "Maybe we should take a look?" she had suggested to a dark mirror senshi she had recently met, or better say, found. Hitomi was a much better companion than that rude lieutenant with turquoise-colored hair! So, here they were, wondering what this was all about.

DMS Hitomi - B5

Hitomi hasn't been used to this patrolling thing. Goodness, she hadn't gotten used to the fact she was a magical girl, like some kind of a character from a shoujo anime or something! Having a transformation item, a transformation call and even a mascot! Cora certainly was a cute one, even though a bit noisy at times but she could endure that.

Sensing energy signatures was a new kind of a sensation as well, especially in this scale. Curiously, she lingered near the group that 'felt' the most comfortable to her.

For some time, she just silently watched and tried to get a bigger picture until finally speaking softly: "Hello."

Cora and Hitomi are open for interaction!

[Dark Mirror Sailor Ariadne -- B5]

Ariadne had very little experience as a Senshi, she knew that. But she wanted to change that, and she could feel a big broiling of auras, and that drew her in. There were enough recognizable Dark Mirrors in the middle of this incredibly chaotic battle that she could drift to them--none of them were Amytis, but that was okay, she didn't need her sister all the time.

There was such a good sized group, too, it was beneficial to her to huddle with the rest of her people.

"Anyone know what's going on?" She asked, at large, since apparently there was some kind of purpose but she couldn't guess what it was. "Other than a whole goddamn lot, obviously. Anyone in particular we're collectively rooting for, or is this just a free show where whoever wins, we get entertainment?"

Transcended Eternal Scylla of the Kraken - B5

A nice, peaceful evening. At the start of this, that was all that Jada had wanted. She and Giulia were out patrolling together and having a delightful time. Scylla’s little pet wisp was with them, swirling around its owner’s head like a weird little light-snake. There was entertainment, bopping some youma on their nasty, chaos-ridden heads; Snacks, enjoying some nice cold ice cream from a little mom and pop place because it was a warm night… and then came the SOS on their senshi phones. Caer Sidi, Central Park, Fountain, confronting a General. Backup needed. Scylla was not going to be That Senshi who refused to respond to a call for backup- she could still remember those who had come to her call long ago, and she would always, always respond to those she heard call in the same manner.

The senshi of the Kraken was just getting ready to open her mouth and send her little sister home, for her own protection because of the fact this was going to possibly grow into quite the violent brouhaha, when the Chibi senshi took off at a sprint in the direction of Central Park. For all that they were about the same size, given how damnably TALL Giulia was, the Chibi Super was ridiculously fast as part of her slightly different Chibi power set; and Scylla found herself lagging a hair behind. And especially as they approached Central Park, the echoes of the older senshi’s yell of “DAMMIT CHARYBDIS” found itself fallen far behind them. All that lay ahead of them, it seemed, would be trying to cover a certain Chibi and keep her from-

Running right up to a General and dropping a Seal Bomb on it. Yeah, starting off with a fail, Scylla.

It was then, with no small amount of sister-inspired parental rage floating happily through her, that Scylla’s eyes caught on a rather… familiar… group of senshi. Oh, not familiar in that she knew most of them, though Acubens was an almost aggravatingly familiar face, but the… the fuku colors. Those wings, on those that had them, and the small difference in aura that filled that small petty hole in her chest with the inexplicable urge to punch them all in the face. What were they calling themselves now? Dark Moon, instead of Dark Mirror, or was it Senshi instead of Court? What was the current rebranding?

Was it irrational? Yes. Would her therapist be tremendously disappointed in her later? Oh, almost certainly so. Would Scylla be disappointed in herself? She would write them all small, hand-written apology notes if she was; someone in the post office had to work for Chaos, after all, right? (Though she did try and check that none of the dark… mirr-oon senshi that had helped her out in the past were lurking in that small group of poor souls.)

And what Scylla did next was no one’s fault but her own. None of them were bad people, probably. She had witnessed no criminal activity- in fact, it almost seemed like they were simply getting ready to only observe, possibly with popcorn. She should be trying to make an alliance with these poor folks. Friends. They weren’t the Negaverse, they were neutral-ish, but… they were Chaos. Corrupt. Growing fat on the energy of other people just like the Negaverse. And so, as she rushed through the group of senshi, intending to make her way to her sister, the Transcended senshi paused, the markings glistening and glowing, the wisp swirling around her head with excitement.

Sweetly, she told the group one word, stamping her foot on the ground as she did. “Devour.”

And then s**t went south for the poor souls that had never done her any wrong.
      Quote:
Scylla stamps her foot on the ground, causing the earth to appear to rumble around her in an (illusory) explosive tidal wave, flooding out for a 20-foot radius. A single tentacle per enemy, similar in appearance to the toothed tentacles created by Scylla's Hunger, spawns within 2 feet of the identified enemy and attempts to grab the nearest threat. Scylla has no control over the actions of these tentacles. They will not attempt to do more than grab and hold the nearest threat unless the 'grappled' player wishes so for plot purposes. Nor does Scylla feel any pain as they are attacked, unlike she might with the tentacles which she can control.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos - G2

Paradise couldn’t help herself! She reached out to take hold of Cybele’s hands and squeeze them tight. She would have liked to throw her arms around her in a warm hug, but she thought that might make it easier for an enemy in their cute little military outfits to come and attack them.

But she was sure they would all be just fine and make it home for a night time snack. She knew all of her children, as new as some of them were, knew how to handle themselves. They’d been part of this magical war for much longer than she or Empyrean. Alas.

“We came to help!” she smiled brightly at the young woman, as if to clarify what Empyrean just said about answering the distress call. But her attention was turned to whomever Cybele was looking for.

“Oh? Do you see a friend of yours? We would really like to meet them!” she beamed cheerfully, although maybe they should be a little more cautious about being around so many dark auras. “Hello!” she called before she could even see who this Anser was. “I’m Paradise and this is Empyrean. We’re -- friends of Cybele.”

She remembered she needed to be careful about revealing familial ties, at least with so many of the Negaverse and… Dark… Crystal? Mirrors? Ah, she couldn't remember what Ganymede and Oberon told her... She hadn’t met any of them yet, but she was sure they were lovely as well.

Dark Mirror Eternal Acubens -- B5
Acubens saw Scylla at about the same time Scylla saw her. She raised her hands to shoulder height to show surrender, hoping to prove that Acubens wasn't here to fight, only to protect her own.

But it didn't seem like it mattered.

Devour

Well s**t.

"SCATTER," Acubens called to the gathered Dark Mirrors. She herself dove for Rana, enfolded her in her body, and took the brunt of both the tentacle aimed at Acubens and the one aimed for Rana. One grabbed her leg and one grabbed her arm, hoisting her up and into the air. It didn't hurt, but it certainly did surprise and shock her.

(NOTE: Acubens screaming SCATTER and yelping in the air could distract the tentacles to her if you want.)

General Faustite — G1

"Mm." Faustite nodded to Jet's question about the knight. Always hated their names, for the misnomer concerning their greatest rank. Facing off against a knight, or a Knight? From the buzz he heard on Jet's communicator, it sounded like Ashanite was after a Squire. Disappointing, but all Faustite could do was grind his teeth about it.

Shrugged at the comment about the suncatcher. Brows arched in the middle, he added, "was born in 2001." Whatever the ******** a suncatcher was, Faustite wagered it was way before his time. He hadn't bothered studied ancient artifacts for the sake of calling a knight's ridiculous weapon what it was. Maybe Ashanite had some experience antiquing, where Faustite concentrated on learning military training, and knowing his enemy's movement patterns. Couldn't say. After their mission, he tried not to think about the lives of other officers, or how they might stab him in the back.

Flustered though he was, Jet hit on something Faustite could use. Sidled closer, motioned to Cymophane and Albite in the same action. "Trust you to mount the offensive. Take Albite — can't teleport yet, hasn't finished his training. Albite, save two uses of your Basic or one of your Super. Follow Jet's lead, fight Assisted Living over there if he tells you to. Mind your comm; might need you yet.

"Will you radio Ashanite? Tell him we've got bind magic and fire. Can take Albite in by teleport, snatch her. Pull back to the treeline. Light it up for cover and block pursuers."

He added, under his breath, "or stab Ashanite for dragging us into this." A lopsided shrug and a dip in the corner of his mouth for it.

Corrupt Sailor Psilomelane — D1

Somewhere in the midst of all the auric nonsense, she'd lost track of where the peaks and troughs lay; she hadn't realized a General (Chambersite) was next to Cristobalite, and Psilomelane went red in the face for it. She wondered if her old self was this much of a space cadet that she'd completely miss an enemy, or an ally.

"My magic's like a trap," she volunteered. "I look hurt, and it lures the enemy into thinking they're winning. It doesn't seem good for much else, but it could help distract someone." That would open someone to a solid left hook, or a starseeding, or whatever they thought was best.

She looked to the General on site for clarification. "What do you want me to do, Sir?" Since she didn't think the General who called them there had much time to mete out instructions, and theoretically any General was just as good as the next. He'd already given Cristobalite some instructions, anyway. Though, she wondered, was her name like Cristobal or Crystal Ball?

Whatever. Tangent.

She wasn't a great pick for slapping a cat around, at least; most of them didn't care if someone was hurting or close to defeat.

Squire Imbrium of Castor - A3

Honestly, Imbrium should have expected that her nice, comfortable, peaceful place would not stay nice, comfortable and peaceful. She could feel the auras moving and shifting around her, but she was paying them far, far too little mind. Perhaps that was why, when she bumped into a vaguely terrified looking Roselite, she could at first only blink in confusion as a butter knife was thrown at her face.

"Ohmygod" she shrilled back to the squealing Negaverser, genuinely startled by both the sight of a person, and the knife flying at her face. The metal of the Lieutenant smacked into her cheek, luckily missing poking out her eye, but there would be a delightful shiner forming in the long shape of a knife. The knife started falling somewhere. She didn't catch it, just staring blankly at the Lieutenant.

The sound and sensation of another Order aura approaching pulled Imbrium's eyes away from Roselite's face, and towards the kid senshi that was running towards them and doing some weird... handspring attack. "Hey, wait-" she started to say; even Imbrium knew that a Chibi senshi wasn't supposed to try and hand- or foot- to hand a Negaverse agent. She appreciated the gesture, but the sight of a younger kid gearing up to take out- wait. Had the kid said two against one???

Realization sank in and her blood ran truly cold at the sight of a Captain that had gone unnoticed to this point taking a horrible, concentrated swing at the kid, who was only trying to help! "NO." she said firmly, and her shield thrust forward, a blast of magical ice channeling to try and fill that space between the chibi and that horrible, almost nail-like weapon. "You leave the senshi alone."

Please be in time, she prayed to whatever Code piece was in charge of making sure kids didn't get murderized on her watch.

      Quote:
Squire: Buckler shield -- At this stage, Imbrium can shove her buckler forward and create an ice 'wall' in the direction she points it. Enemies hit by this wall are damaged or staggered; as a sign of her devotion to Castor, (and the fact it's kind of a mini-wall) allies in that walled area are protected from ONE hit, the potential pain/damage for which is taken by Imbrium. The wall will last for as long as Imbrium channels, though the protection is only redirected one time per "burst" of her channeling; if she only holds the wall once, only one hit will be redirected to her. A second burst of appropriately-timed channeling would redirect one more hit and so on. She has a 30 second pool.

General Sylvite: F5

For all the time that Sylvite had spent in her branch of the Negaverse, digging around the city at night for people to interview and information to gather, she'd never actually met a Dark Mirror senshi before.

She'd read other people's reports on them, obviously, but that didn't mean that she was in any way mentally prepared for the almost-familiar, easy to ignore aura behind her to materialize into an angry senshi who was screaming some kind of magic spell in her face right as as Sylvite's knife glanced off some kind of hand armor that Athalia had gotten.

'Cause she wanted to be the one to attack Athalia, apparently. Yep, that totally justified it.

The magic turned out to be some kind of lightning thing, but rather than being a regular shock, it just made Sylvite's whole arm go numb. One of her knives scattered to the grass below as she lost her grip on it.

On one hand, that was very annoying magic. On the other hand, Sylvite had never been the type to complain about other people doing the front line fighting for her. She stepped back, hands up.

"Could have just asked," she said, "But okay. Let me know if you need any help."

Maybe if he ended up using his magic she could get behind him? This senshi might think that counted as a kill steal, but at this point Sylvite wasn't sure she cared.

Super Dark Mirror Itokawa

Protect your own...it was something another dark mirror said as they appeared and Itokawa agreed, he didn't think he could agree more really. They were a small knit group and couldn't afford to go jumping into this sort of a battle - it wasn't their place. They had their own things to deal with and this wasn't it - this belonged to them. This belonged to the Negaverse and the white moon senshi. Their little world didn't consist of these sorts of fights, thankfully.

"This whole thing is interesting..." And so long as they kept out of it than it would remain as such. Moving closer to Bell he let a hand settle on the others shoulder, just in case. Who knew if someone would take offence to them all hanging around and decide to bring them into this mess? He hoped it didn't happen but it might...someone was bound to spot them, there was enough of them here, and someone would surely not be pleased seeiong them hanging about spying on things.

What he wasn't expecting was an eternal to turn up to join them - Acubens. And she wasn't alone but rather she had three others with her, two of which were basic dark mirror senshi. They should be protected and yet one was walking off...apparently they were close to Acubens and got away with it. Though the eternal did seem to hace a hold on another one of the two basics - keeping a hold on the others uniform.

"Can anyone really hold their own against you?" He questioned the eternal after a moment of thought, he wasn't sure if he really should be asking such a thing.

It was a shame he didn't get his answer, at least not really, because Acubens was screaming to scatter and someone was attacking them. Someone wasn't just attackming Acubens and that othjer one though - they were all being attacked! Pushing at Bell he tried to get the other out of the way even as he was grabbed by a large, heavy, tentacle and hoisted high up into the air. "s**t." They weren't fast enough to get away, this attack wasn't expected and so hard to avoid.

DMC Super Hydrus - B5

They'd collected a rather large group of fellow Dark Mirrors, and neither side was taking much notice of them. Hydrus started pulling out his thermos of tea from his subspace pocket to Mirrorspace when two eternals showed up. One was a DMC - Acubens, if he remembered - and the other.

The other stalked over to the group, glowing bright with markings that he'd only seen in passing on people before, and slammed her foot onto the ground. Acubens shouted for them to scatter, but Hydrus was too slow, he was too focused on the fact he couldn't move, he couldn't breath he could---

The tentacle grabbing him snapped him out of his panic long enough for him to be hoisted off the ground. He'd expected water, he'd expected to drown but the waves weren't of water but quivering monstrous tentacles. Tentacles under the water.

His terror engulfed him again and he shoved his hand out towards the Senshi of Krakens. "DEEP SEA MONSTERS!" he screamed, a five foot long leviathan dropping out of his palm and surging towards Scylla.

It roared in defiance through the tentacles, aiming to bit and coil around Scylla. Failing that, the first humanoid in its way.

Quote:
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Deep Sea Monsters!

[ Hydrus summons a larger leviathan (5 feet long) out of his palm. It slithers along the ground and comes up under his opponent to chop down on them. Once bitten and wrapped around, it induces a sense of deep water (approx in the middle of a 20ft sphere of water) and being surrounded by moving creatures. This attack can set off vertigo and hydrophobia. The leviathans do not distinguish friend from foe, but Hydrus can't attack himself with it. It is also semi-corporal.]
Lasts: 20 secs (this includes travel time to the opponent)
Uses: 3 times per battle
