School: Hillworth Grammar School Has been emancipated by the State and passed an examination to bypass the rest of high school.
Occupation: Worked at a burger joint, then retail as a cashier. Plays piano at fancy department stores during the holidays. Currently he is focusing on writing and recording his own music. But really is a full time Negaverse Officer.
HOBBIES:
Piano — Music is Ilian's life, plain and simple. He surrounds himself with it whenever he can, and seeks comfort in it when he's angry or upset. Playing the piano comes naturally to him, some even say he and his older brother are prodigies like their father before them. He's even been told he knew how to play before he could even walk or talk (he's not sure he believes that, but also can't pinpoint the moment he knew he started playing). The piano is one of Ilian's very few talents in which he doesn't have to try very hard to be good at, like everything else in his life. Despite being placed in Hillworth, a kindly old piano instructor decided to take Ilian on as a pupil, despite Ilian not being able to afford any kind of lessons and had either taught himself or learned from his brother since he was eight. Now, at least a few times a week, he stops by his instructor's house for lessons or to play on a piano that is actually tuned.
Singing — Next to playing the piano, singing is the only other thing Ilian has found he has talent for. His mother held voice and singing lessons and held music therapy sessions, and she and he would often sing to each other. After the accident, it took him a few years to start singing agin. He hopes to one day produce his own music and looks to artist and groups like Billy Joel, Elton John, Tori Amos, Journey, and Queen as inspiration.
Lacrosse — Ilian was told he had a natural gift for piano and he should do everything he can not to threaten the mobility of his hands... So naturally, he plays lacrosse. What better way to keep his hands safe than potentially getting them beaten and battered every game? Of course, he was interested in lacrosse ever since his brother started playing in middle school, and often took to helping him practice, despite being four years younger. Once he was old enough to join the middle school team he did, and continues to play much to his piano instructor's distress. He's not the best player by far, but he puts one hundred percent effort into playing. His zeal and enthusiasm makes up for a little where he lacks in natural and practiced talent.
PERSONALITY
Zealous — Out of all Ilian's failures, no one can claim that he didn't try. He puts forth his best effort in everything he does, and while he seems to always fall short, he stubbornly continues on. His resilience makes him head-strong, but it's his passion that defines him most. Even if he knows he's not going to accomplish a goal, even though he knows he'll never be good enough to do what he wants to do, he'll never give up. Lacrosse, schoolwork, helping someone out: whatever it is, he'll give it his all no matter what.
Sociable — Ilian likes being around people, whether they are doing something together, or just sitting around doing nothing. He's comfortable around people and enjoys speaking to others and learning about them. Friendly and outgoing, Ilian will often start up a conversation when meeting someone new, and he welcomes others to come to him for anything. He's never too busy to talk to someone to try to help someone out if they need him, although many have learned that he's probably not the first choice if they want something to succeed.
Decisive — Resolute in his decisions, it doesn't take long for Ilian to make up his mind and stick to a plan. He knows what he wants and doesn't hesitate when it comes to picking one thing over another. His decisiveness exhibits his determination and passion for everything in his life. If need be, Ilian is more than willing to step into others' arguments to put an end to their bickering when a decision can not be made — this is sometimes helpful in curbing tension, but can also backfire due to his own inability to change his mind about something.
Impulsive — Despite being told not to do the thing, Ilian will most likely do the thing if he's made up his mind to do so. Ilian's actions are based on emotion, so the likelihood that he will do something rash and dangerous is much higher than if he took a few moments to think things through. Jumping in to defend someone being bullied, or even standing up to authority has gotten him in trouble before. He's been told he needs to think before acting, but in his mind, thinking is just hesitation and it's not like thinking about his actions will change his decision anyway.
Self Righteous — No matter what you might say to try and convince him otherwise, he believes himself to be morally right and takes it upon himself to bring others to justice for their behavior. He is very outspoken against driving under the influence, as well as separating siblings in foster care — both of these examples for the huge impact on his life. He sees other people with their "perfect" lives taking things for granted and judges them for it. Obviously no one has a "perfect" life, but it could be so much worse. They have no idea what it's like to have nothing to your name. If Ilian wasn't under eighteen, he'd be homeless.
Obstinate — Ilian refuses to let go of things and holds grudges with the best of them. Once he makes up his mind about something, he will stubbornly hold on. Not only will he not change his mind about something, but he will argue against someone else's viewpoints if only because he doesn't like seeming like he's wrong. This out of everything else, causes his temper to flare and has been known to have outbursts that he is no longer able to control, blinded by his own unyielding nature.

Eyes: Golden/Brown Hazel
Hair: Thick, curly, and dark brown.
Face: Dark skinned. Has a noticeable dark freckle near his left eye. Has other dark freckles sporadically over his body. Ethnically ambiguous.

Personal Youma
Youma Name: Arles (aka Stardog)
Type: Humanoid
Appearance: The night sky in the shape of a large wolf, based off a pricolici from Romanian folklore.
Ability: Costing both the youma and Jet energy, through rudimentary telepathy Arles can create a link of shared, real time sight, making the youma an exemplary scout. In the case of an emergency, Arles can also form a very brief telepathic link to Negaverse officers who are close to Jet, only long enough for someone to see a glimpse of “trouble” and a landmark for general location. Doing so will cost the youma a significant amount more energy and will require longer recovery time in the Rift. Arles has enhanced stealth allowing it to blend into the darkness.
Secondary Ability: Arles can create a sphere of darkness within a fifteen foot radius of him. Those inside the sphere see nothing but pitch black and the illusion of stars, and sound is muted to the point of being able to hear only one's own heartbeat. Those who experience it have reported the eeriness and discomfort of something watching. No one can see in or out of the darkness. It is possible to escape the sphere with some a bit of effort, and the whole thing dissipates after 30 seconds.

Previously semi-rivals when it came to playing the piano, but after being recruited into the Negaverse, recitals haven't been a priority. Cares deeply for Lovely, even if they are apparently incapable of expressing things like feelings for each other in words. "Boyfriend" is about as far as they would go to describe each other, even if that is not the case.
Seth Volkov — Gadolinite.
Sorin Jones — Deceased. Ilian's older brother whom he practically worshiped. Was an even better piano prodigy than Ilian, but lost a couple of his fingers in the accident that killed their parents, and was physically unable to play like he once could. Although they were stuck in the foster care system for years, Sorin did everything he could to take care of his little brother and eventually gained custody of Ilian when Sorin turned 18. Ilian was 14. Although Ilian was unaware of Sorin's participation in the Negaverse, he knew his brother did whatever he could to care for both of them. Later that same year, Sorin, as Captain Lignite, was killed by a senshi in front of Ilian, Jericho, and Lovely soon before Ilian's 15th birthday. Ilian vowed to get justice for his brother's death and immediately joined the Negaverse himself, unfortunately dragging Jericho and Lovely with little other choice.

*Accomplishments and Failures The Void:History:Parents killed in car crash when he was 8, his brother 12. With no other family to take them in, they were placed in foster care. Their father played piano for a church, helped his wife with her music therapy practice, and composed on the side. Their mother taught voice and singing, and practiced music therapy out of their small home. Little Things:Ilian is ambidextrous and has absolute pitch. He is considered a piano prodigy. *Negaspace Items: Pearlescent Bead (Unused) - A seemingly normal looking pearl that is always cool to the touch. It can be found discarded on Homeworlds, Wonders, Mirrorspace, and the Dark Kingdom. To use this item, a character must throw it hard at the ground. The pearl will not break, but upon impact will explode into a painless, odorless, pearly white smoke at the character's feet. This smoke has the ability to restore all energy immediately. It can fully restore all senshi magic, all knight magic, of all Negaverse abilities, except for fourth stage magic. It can be used to revive all drained energy and is even strong enough to revive someone from death through magical defibrillation. While it won’t heal injuries, it will give someone enough energy to stay alive for a bit longer. The effects will only work on the one person the smoke surrounds and touches. The smoke cannot be blow away from the person it surrounds. After the smoke clears, the bead can be kept as a memento.

*Arles of Saturn Note: Ilian/Jet is a descendant of Arles, Knight of Saturn; however, the starseed is incapable of being reborn due to being corrupted into a youma, and the Wonder/Code piece has been corrupted by Chaos. Should Jet ever purify, he would purify as a civilian.
