While the morning is full of seminars and classes, the afternoon is dedicated to guided tours of the new hospital for all curious visitors who wish to see the inner workings of the large facility.
You have signed up for such a tour and now find yourself being guided by Dr. Hadly himself. He is a tall man with dark hair and a long white doctor's coat around his pristine looking attire. Clipboard in hand, he walks your group through the first level of the hospital and briefly explains where the gift shop, cafeteria and waiting areas are. However, he seems more interested in showing you the more intricate systems of the hospital, so after a short elevator ride, you are down on the Concourse floor. He turns down a hallway and you find yourself now in the Operating Room area, where there are six separate operating rooms, the pre-op waiting area and finally, the expansive post-op recovery suites.
You find yourself led into the first Operating Room on the right. There is a table with large mirrors and lights hanging overhead and various surgical paraphernalia sitting around on the tables.

The tall doctor beams as he stands in front of the tour group, obviously very proud of the hospital's accomplishments and state of the art equipment.
"Here at Destiny's Star, we have recruited only the top surgeons in the country to work for us. Their focus will primarily be on sav--"
His words are cut off as the lights suddenly flicker once, twice and then the room is engulfed into darkness. The doctor stutters, confused as to the sudden loss of light.
"I-I apologize, ladies and gentlemen. It appears we're having some technical difficulties at this time..."

The speaker system overhead crackles on and an deep, ominous laughter fills the entire operating room hallway. Depending on your history with the magical characters of Destiny City, you may recognize the voice of a notorious redheaded General.
"Hello, hello, testing... 1...2...3...."
A shrill sound pierces through the speaker system, followed by a second chuckle.
"There we go. Hiya, friends of the new hospital! Wow, it's dark as s**t in there! Don't worry, the emergency lights will flicker on shortly. Or not. Not my problem! But let's skip right to the important things."
Clearing his throat, a muffled voice of another female was picked up in the background. The male voice, however, continued.
"My name is General Obsidian and while I would love to personally see to your enjoyment of my new hospital, I'm afraid I am way too important for that s**t. My buddies will see that you enjoy your stay."
At that moment, the back-up lights come on, allowing you the ability to dimly see the room around you. It's only a fraction of the light that you'd started with, but it's better than nothing.
"Huh, they work after all!. As I was saying, I have a few friends that are very eager to meet you. But as much as I love a good bloodbath, I'd rather see you guys put some effort in.... so.... if you can make it out of the hospital in one piece, you win! Isn't that just great?
The female voice crackled over the system, her words and voice unrecognizable.
"Of course, if you don't make it out, my compadres will make sure you're comfortable. You know, smeared on the walls, thrown in the morgue, tossed in the incinerator.... But anyways, I digress. Please have a WONDERFUL time and we wish you the best of luck... ta-ta!"
With that, the speaker system hisses as it shuts off completely.

Despite the darkness of the room, it isn't hard to see the panic stricken across the good Doctor's face. His hands look about ready to break the clipboard and you swear you thought you heard him whisper his daughter's name under his breath. Poor guy.
"L-Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not sure what's going on but if you don't mind, I ask that you please remain calm. I know this hospital like the back of my hand - I'll lead us out of here and hopefully we can figure out exactly what is happening upstairs."
He hesitates as he steps towards the operating suite's doors. Turning back around, he gives you a sheepish expression.
"It may not be such a bad idea to grab something to protect yourself with. You know... just in case."
Please roll ONE 6-sided dice to determine your weapon below:
If you roll a 1, you've grabbed:
Scalpel
A knife, typically used by a surgeon to slice through flesh. Try not to slice your own while using it...
(Roll 1 6-sided dice for attack damage value.)
If you roll a 2, you've grabbed:
Broken IV Pole
A piece of broken metal piping from an IV pole. It won't hold medicine anymore, but maybe you can use it to bash something?
(Roll 1 12-sided dice for attack damage value.)
If you roll a 3, you've grabbed:
Phone Cord & Phone
A broken segment of a phone. It no longer allows you to place a call, but maybe you can use the cord for rope or... something?
(Roll 1 4-sided dice for attack damage value.)
If you roll a 4, you've grabbed:
Broken Wheelchair Fragment
A part of a chair that has no purpose. Maybe it can be used to strike at something?
(Roll 1 6-sided dice for attack damage value.)
If you roll a 5, you've grabbed:
Oxygen Tank
A heavy tank devoid of any oxygen that it used to hold. Difficult to lift up but effective when used to smash.
(Roll 1 12-sided dice for attack damage value.)
If you roll a 6, you've grabbed:
Bedpan
A normal, plastic bedpan. Why are you carrying this around, again?
(Roll 1 4-sided dice for attack damage value.)
If you arrive late (after our next post), feel free to roll 1-6 in your first prompt response to receive your weapon.
The next post will occur at 6pm!

When the lights began to flicker Hannah glanced over at Mei, worry evident on both of their faces. Something wasn’t right; a state of the art newly built hospital doesn’t just all of a sudden have power failures on opening night especially when there wasn’t even a storm outside. Then the blackout happened.
Engulfed in total darkness, Hannah could feel her heartbeat quicken as the beginnings of a panic attack began to set its roots within her. Without even the emergency lights or backup generator kicking on she could only blindly grope the air beside her hoping that the hand she grabbed onto belonged to Mei.
Then the voice began to speak. His tone, so nonchalant yet mocking, gave little doubt that he was the one orchestrating this prank. But when he said his name, that’s when the real fear kicked in. “General Obsidian” her lips moved, yet not a sound escaped her, as he continued his monologue. The name was unfamiliar but left little room for doubt that the Negaverse was most definitely involved.
Suddenly the lights returned, albeit significantly dimmer than before, painting even her friend in an unfamiliar light.
Mei’s head snapped to the side at the sound of a metal tray clammering on the floor in a startling riot of noise in the otherwise unsettling quiet room. “Hannah…” quickly she brushed past one of the other tour attendees towards her friend who had backed herself against one of the walls with a scalpel clutched in trembling hands. She looked to be like a deer caught in the headlights.
“I-I won’t go back there!” Barely audible, Hannah’s voice trembled like a leaf in the wind.
“We will get out of here, you hear me? You’re not alone, and I’m not going to leave you okay?” Again, Mei’s eyes blessedly glanced down again in time to notice that the makeshift weapon in Hannah’s hand was facing towards her. “Hannah,” carefully the creme haired woman placed her hands on her companions and carefully turned the surgical tool around. “Be careful how you hold onto this. Okay? I don’t want you to cut yourself by mistake”
Wide eyes stared at her unblinkingly, yet blessedly Hannah managed to nod her head in reply.
General Obsidian? Ilian frowned up at the flickering backup lights as they came on, and glanced up at Jericho beside him to give him a look that clearly showed he had no idea what was going on. He would rather Cassadega not know he was oblivious to whatever the other General had planned, but Jericho he’d known long enough to know where his loyalties were, and that he wouldn’t fault him for not knowing about this. Not that he expected Cassadega to fault him, but he knew she had limited dealings with the Negaverse so far, and things didn’t usually happen like this.
There had to have been a mistake. Ilian thought he was pretty thorough with what happened in the Negaverse. There weren’t any official meetings or notices, so either he was not meant to know about this, or they were just supposed to pick up where they were needed.
“Keep an eye on each other. Don’t do anything rash,” he frowned, beckoning to both Jericho and Cassadega. “Stay close to me in case anything happens.”
He didn’t want to risk revealing his identity, but if absolutely necessary he could always power up and teleport the three of them out.

Sidney James - Oxygen Tank (1d12 ********. ******** see the new hospital, it’ll be fun. I bet they have some sort of reception afterwards. Her friends had said. She’d had nothing better to do, and hanging with them was always fun, so she’d let them drag her here. The tour had been… well, a tour, and Sid had spent most of it checking out her fellow guests more than the hospital.
Now the lights were out, some guy was talking about killing people, and by the title he used on himself, it was pretty ******** obvious this was some Negaverse ******** eyes darted around the darkness looking for flickers of light, hopeful some little monster bugs might be in residence. If she could find one, she could contact Quartz and it would be ‘so long amigos’ to this whole thing. To be on the safe side, though, she went forward with the others to snag something out of the pile of junk, managing to snag a heavy canister before some dude did.
It was unweildy, but it would make someone think twice about messing with her. She hoped.
When she'd decided she wanted to go on this hospital tour, she hadn't know what to expect, but whatever it was it wasn't this. Somewhere along the way, Cass had lost Cabhan in the throng of people that had come for the tour but had found Ilian and Jericho in the process. The lights flickered and a man's voice cracked overhead. She didn't recognize the name or the voice and cast a glance over at Ilian with a green brow arched with curiosity.
In her short time as part of the Negaverse, she had picked up that things just happened and not everyone was in the loop.
But she wondered if Ilian knew about all of this. It didn't matter she could ask him later. "You got it, Boss." She tossed him a smile before her lime green gaze flicked up to the taller man besides them. "Stick together, don't be reckless, yada, yada." Her hand waved even as she looked around for the younger boy she'd dragged along with then lost.
Well, she'd have to find him at some point, but she'd stick near the boys for the time being.

Derrick Keenan
He had mostly gone on this tour to check the hospital out and because he also wanted an excuse to send his little brother home without complaint. The hospital was... well as interesting as a hospital could be. He hoped that he wouldn't have to go here that often, and still considered the General Hospital a better option, but it wasn't bad either.
The doctor seemed to know what he was talking about, though why he was so interested in showing them the operating rooms was a bit weird. I guess it was to reassure show that if one did need to come here for a procedure, that they had the latest and greatest.
However, it suddenly went dark, and even the doctor seemed surprised. Derrick chalked it up to a surge or something until he heard the announcements over the speakers. Generals? "S***"." Derrick muttered to himself. This was clearly a trap by the Negaverse, it had to be. They were 99% of the time the cause of all of the weird stuff that happened in the city, so this wasn't totally surprising.
He heeded the doctors words though, especially since the General seemed to imply that there was a chance of dying here if they didn't make it out. He wondered if recording it on his phone and saving it to digital storage would help to show that the senshi weren't the ones responsible for all of this stuff, but instead went to grab an empty oxygen tank. It was a bit heavy, he couldn't lift it that easily, but he was able to hold it and he could probably give someone or something a pretty good hit if he tried.
When s**t had first started going south, immediately Jericho had looked to Ilian. "The ******** is this s**t?" But the look Ilian gave him said it all. He didn't know either. ******** hell. There wasn't any hiding his anger at this whole thing, nor his slight relief to see Cass when she showed up next to them.
Even if her some what adherence to the orders made him nude her arm with his. "Least you're easy as ******** to spot around here." Looking around as he grabbed up a weapon--like everyone else, though he had to bite back a laugh--he spotted another familiar face and nudged Ilian and Cass to direct their gazes over to where Cabhan stood, holding a freaking broken phone and cord.
"Take it he came with you?" He looked to Cass on that, but lifted a hand and gave a quick whistle to draw the kid's attention on over.
Moment he heard the whistle, Cabhan looked up, relief washing over his young face as he spotted Cass next to the big guy she was dancing with the other night. And um. Ilian. Hurrying over to them, he gave Ilian a sheepish smile, before looking intently to Cass and the other guy--uh, Jericho, right? "This would be pretty neat, if it was a Halloween game or something."
General Obsidian. Not someone he'd met, but judging by the way everyone was gearing up with whatever they could find, he was willing to bet this wasn't something any of them had anticipated. Which was... neat but. Kinda weird, too. Why didn't they know about it?
She didn't even want to be here in the first place, yet here she was, holding on to her fancy new CPR card and getting trapped in the hospital with a bunch of total strangers (several of them hella hotties) and (apparently) Sid- the only one whose name she knew in the group.
A murderous hospital, and apparently the Negaverse had decided to make this grand opening grandly awful.
She was so glad she had not donated blood to these people. How rude. This was the epitome of hospitality fail, and if the Negaverse actually cared about job satisfaction, she might have tried to file a complaint.
As it was, she just wanted to know where a good place was to power up so she could teleport home.
Hux stuck close to his little cousin while they were on the tour, though he took plenty of time to look around the hospital and listen to the doctor who was leading them. It had been interesting so far and it never hurt to see what was available in case of any trouble.
And then the lights went out and the General came over the speakers.
"Did you know that this was going to happen?" He asked Alex in a low tone, eyes darting over to the smaller man, then he went and grabbed something he could use as a weapon. When he grabbed the phone and cord he wasn't sure if it was better then his normal weapon or not
