Tonight was the night, and Cadence was practically running to meet up with Guinevere, a huge smile on her face. Her list of things to do had all been checked off, and she had her smaller suitcase all packed, as well as a backpack on her back. The sound of the rolling wheels was loud in the night, but she grinned, quickening her pace as she neared their meeting point.
When the beautiful form of her girlfriend materialized out of the darkness, she gave a cry, hurting just a little faster. “Gwen! Gwen hi!” She wasn’t powered up yet, but when she got to the corrupted senshi, she hugged her tightly. “It’s today. I saw Mizuki and she’s all right, you have my one suitcase and I have another one and my bag and I’m just so happy.”
Quietly she drew out her henshin pen and powered up, excited and almost jumping. “It’s me, obviously. I love you. Which is also obviously. Can you bring me in now? Can we have our happily ever after?”
She had waited so long, after all.

Guinevere was hopeful, as she approached their meeting place. She'd found Mizuki, and hopefully Mizuki had found Tristan, which meant that maybe, they were closer to time for Tristan to come home. She already had Tristan's bag, all ready for her, in the lovely little apartment the Negaverse had given her--it was small, cozy, and plenty of room for two. Especially two who would be sharing one room.
The thought made her giggle with delight. To finally get to spend the night with Tristan...ah, it would be a joy.
She blinked, when she saw the civilian running up with a suitcase--but she knew her name, and she was all in on the physical affection, so--
Ah. As soon as she mentioned the bag, Gwen smiled, and slung an arm aorund her, squeezing. Yes, this was her girl--as cute as ever.
"You're ready? I'm so glad! I talked to Mizuki, I hoped she would find you." Gwen sighed, contentedly, and then slung her arms around Tristan's shoulders, pulling her in for a long, slow kiss.
"Yeah, I can bring you home. Let me just call someone in."
She produced her tablet. She'd heard there was a new General-King in charge of General Operatives--maybe he would be willing to help. So she pulled him up, and placed the call.
"Hello, General-King Jet? This is Sailor Guinevere. We haven't met, but I was hoping you might help me bring my girlfriend into the Negaverse? She's wanted to join us for quite some time, but she's a Senshi on the other side--Sailor Tristan."

Healing and relaxing was, quite honestly, incredibly boring. Jet didn’t feel relaxed. He felt restless and almost anxious. Like he knew there was more he could be doing other than sitting around and waiting to get back to a hundred percent.
So when the message came through his tablet, he stopped trying to determine how best to arrange the items in his new desk drawers, and instead picked it up to listen.
“This is General King Jet. Send me your location and I’ll meet you there,” he said in response, which gave him a little time to do some quick research at least.
He wasn’t too familiar with the name Guinevere, or Tristan, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t try to find out who he was dealing with. It didn’t take him long to pull up an entry on Tristan in the database, and he assumed the Gwen that was mentioned was this Sailor Guinevere that was contacting him.
Once the ping came through the tablet GPS to tell him where they were located and--
He teleported there.
It was his first time in Destiny City as a General King, but without Ganymede to worry about, he doubted anyone else would dare approach the new power that enveloped him. He wasn’t concerned about being interrupted.
Thankfully, his eye had not been injured during his fight with Ganymede, but he still had a couple bandages covering the stitches both above his eyebrow and below his eye down his cheek to his jaw. Not nearly as surprising of an appearance as someone with a full bandage over his eye. He still had a slight limp as he walked, and his ribs were still on the mend, but he was closer to being at full health.
“Sailor Guinevere and… Sailor Tristan?” he greeted with a small nod to both of them, his tablet already returned to his subspace. “Do you understand that your memories are likely going to be fractured? We could use any information you know about the White Moon to help protect everyone from them. And if there’s anything you want to remember about your current life, we could give you time to make a record of those things,” he offered. There was no going back for her, of course. But he wasn’t going to give them an immediate reason to resent him or the Negaverse because they were uninformed.

The sudden influx of power was…far more intense than Tristan could have imagined it to be and she grabbed Gwen’s hand when he appeared, not…quite out of fright, but startlement at the very least. She nodded mutely at his questions, and struggled to find her voice, finally drawing in a deep breath and nodding more firmly, stepping slightly away from Guinevere. “I am Sailor Tristan, the Senshi of Trust, and yes. I know that my memories will be fractured, I know I’ll forget things, I’m prepared for that. I am afraid I don’t know much about the White Moon, until recently I wasn’t the greatest of senshi…and I have had more experience with those in the Negaverse than I do with those outside of it but um…”
She looked thoughtful and gave another slow nod. “There is one senshi, from Space, she is obviously not human…her name is Dagon, and I know that she…was very hostile towards Chaos, but I was able to soothe her anger a little, especially with my magic behind me…I think if she can be cultivated a little more, if she can be persuaded that our Chaos is not that which destroyed her happiness and her world…she would be a very fierce ally. But, that is the only repeat contact that I met with.”
She didn’t mention Starlight. He was just a child, she wasn’t going to bring him into anything. It was better just to let him fade away. He had a good future ahead of him, and she wouldn’t allow it to be shadowed.
“I did tell her of my choice, and she attacked me, but we left on very good terms, so I will continue with my efforts, if that is permissible.”

Gwen sent the location as soon as it was requested, and waited, anxiously and eagerly, for Jet to arrive.
When he did, it was....something wonderful. Guinevere had been in the presence of General-Sovereigns before, but had not truly appreciated what it felt like to be near one. On the battlefield, and at the party after, everything had been such a chaotic mess that she simply hadn't had the time. When Jet arrived, her eyes widened, and she gasped with genuine joy. Being in the presence of a General-King was being in the presence of a power she could only desperately aspire to--even though Jet looked battered, he also looked proud, and powerful.
She bowed, briefly, because that was what you did with a king, right?
And then she let Tristan talk, and her heart swelled with genuine joy. Tris already had something to bring tot he table, how wonderful! Knowledge of something deeply fascinating, too--a real alien Senshi, from beyond the stars.
"We've been working on this for a while, Sir," Guinevere said, folding her hands behind her back and squaring her shoulders. She wasn't exactly tall, but it was still respectful to try and be at full height as best as she could. "I know I'm new to the Negaverse, but I believe Tris will do wonderfully with us."

It was difficult for Jet's expression to remain the same, although he was certain his eyes betrayed him in revealing his confusion and curiosity.
"Dagon?" he repeated. He hadn't heard of any Senshi, just the Velencians. There was that other strange man who had the wisps as well, although Jet hadn't met the Merchant himself.
But for Senshi to be living out in space? That just meant that they were right, and it was a relief that there was undeniable proof, for both sides, that Senshi who didn't ally themselves with the Negaverse should go back to their worlds and leave Earth alone.
"We won't know if you remember her yet," he warned, because while he appreciated her ambition with trying to continue talking to this alien, they didn't know what to expect from Chaos taking hold of her starseed.
"I'm assuming you both discussed this… Sailor Dagon? So if Tristan forgets, you'll be able to help describe her? It's important we get any information about her put into our database as soon as possible," he explained, and then glanced over Guinevere, vaguely remembering the reports from the hilltop battle.
"Who do you report to? Did you discuss Tristan joining us with them? I don't want to overstep them if they want to help." After all, it wasn't just a matter of corrupting Senshi and Agents and building up their armies. That wasn't the Negaverse Jet wanted, and even if he was in the minority to think that, he wanted to do what he could, anyway.

Tristan nodded. “I have information on her written down just in case. Not to worry, General King!” She looked so pleased, pleased by how happy Gwen seemed to be now that this was really happening, and pleased that the General King seemed pleased with her. Mostly? Kind of?
Well. She thought that he was at least a little pleased, and that was going to be her opinion.
Also, she was quite relieved that her rambling hadn’t upset him or annoyed him…or…whatever, and when his questions started being asked towards Guinevere, Tristan fell silent, listening with some interest. She…admittedly didn’t know much about her girlfriend. Not when it came to these kinds of things…this was…new. It was neat.
She wanted to help to make Gwen shine.

Guinevere smiled, proudly. Tristan was so clever--she'd already thought to keep notes! She wondered, for herself, if that would have made things easier--but she supposed that was sort of a "should have, would have, could have." Perhaps if she had chosen this, instead of stumbling into it....ah well.
The question directed towards her made her make a small considering noise.
"Um! Sailor Lionel has been looking out for me, and he's under Faustite, so I guess I sort of am too?" Not that she had ever...officially...spoken to him. But that was okay! She could fix that, probably! "But, uh, no, I didn't ask him about this. Faustite or Lionel, um." She blinked at Jet with very big, very sad eyes, a bit like a puppy worried it was going to be chastised.
"I can make sure we check in with him after, though!"

Jet held back a sigh. He wasn’t annoyed or frustrated at them, but he wished Guinevere’s commanding officer had known about this ahead of time. It wasn’t as though Jet was going to tell them to go talk to Sailor Lionel or Faustite, first. He was going to follow through with bringing Tristan into the Negaverse, but making sure she was set up for success was important.
“Let me know once you do check in with them, okay? Tomorrow at the latest,” he requested, making a mental note to check in with the two of them after they had time to rest.
But the most important part was Tristan joining their ranks. Jet glanced around, noting the fountain and nodded towards that.
“Can you both sit down over there? I’ll warn you… it will hurt. But it will only be temporary,” he promised as he made sure they both moved over to the fountain to sit.
“And it’s probably going to be very disorienting, so can you hold hands, please? You should be the first thing Tristan sees,” he said to Guinevere as he took his place next to Tristan on the edge of the fountain. He remembered how Kamacite had been there with Misha when he was awakened into Cymophane, and how it was probably more comfortable for Cymophane that way.
He waited until they were settled before placing his hand lightly against Tristan’s back. “Let me know when you’re ready.”

Tristan nodded at Jet’s instructions and took hold of Guinevere’s hand, looking at her with a small, eager smile. “I’m prepared for pain…and the loss. I have thought about the risks and everything that will come with this. I want this…Gwen is my everything, and I want to be beside here fighting for what she fights for.”
She always had. Honestly, it was why she had been so eager to become a senshi herself.
Squeezing the other senshi’s hand, Tristan gave a small nod, trying not to show any sign of being nervous, half afraid that if she did so, he wouldn’t continue. That this would all be wasted.
“I’m ready when you are, General King.”

"Tomorrow at the latest!" Guinevere promised, very cheerily. She would introduce Tristan to Faustite, and it would all be well and good. Probably. She thought so, at least.
She sat down on the couch, next to Tristan, and wound their fingers together, squeezing her hand.
"I'll be right here," she said, softly. If Tristan forgot her.....then they'd just have to start over, try again, figure everything out a second time. But, she hoped, Tristan wouldn't forget her. She'd remembered things that Guinevere herself forgot, so...obviously there was no risk. She hoped. Probably.

He waited until it looked like the two of them were ready. This wasn’t new to him, even if the act of doing it on his own was. He’d brought all of his Senshi recruits into the Negaverse with the help of Axinite, but that was only so he could channel the Chaos properly. Now that he had the strength to do it himself, he was confident in his ability to control it. No, he’d never brought someone from the White Moon over before, but the concept was the same.
Jet closed his eyes and pressed his hand through Tristan’s back to gently wrap his fingers around her starseed. He started the flow of energy slowly, but built it steadily. He didn’t want to shock her with pain, but he also didn’t want it to linger. He was trusting Guinevere to keep her from getting too overwhelmed.
Soon, her starseed would accept the Chaos being pushed into it, and she would no longer wear white, and her hair would no longer be short --
That was okay, he just pushed the hair aside as it suddenly grew, and his expression changed only slightly exasperated at the weird side effect being a Senshi had.

The feeling of the hand sliding into her back, wrapping around her starseed was one she hadn’t been completely prepared for, and Tristan sucked in a surprised breath, squeezing Gwen’s hand tighter, hoping that she could ward off more pain by just holding on to the lifeline, but…of course that wasn’t possible.
It hurt. More pain that she would ever have been ready to prepare for, and Tristan bit down hard enough on her tongue, trying to be brave, trying not to make a sound, and after a moment of it, her mouth filled with the coppery taste of blood.
This was fine…this…
The world seemed to spin slightly, as the chaos took root, nestling itself inside of her very soul, changing her from the inside out.
When the change was made, the senshi slumped forward, resting her head against Guinevere’s chest for a moment as she struggled to breathe, and finally, slowly and carefully she sat back up, blinking slowly and taking in Guinevere and then glanced behind her at the General King who had brought her in. “Thank you, General King. I…that was more pain than I had anticipated, but…I will make you proud.”
Her mouth still tasted of blood, but she moved forward and pressed her lips fervently against Gwens. “I’m home, baby. I’m yours.”

It hurt, to watch Tristan suffer. The pain of her own remaking had been lost in the haze of the entire battle, but Gwen knew it must have happened; witnessing it happening to someone else reminded her of that.
But it was all worth it. Tristan was already beautiful, but in black, with her hair a waterfall cascade of lavender, she was so much lovelier. This was where she was meant to be, Guinevere was sure of it, and she had to force herself not to kiss her through the whole process. When she slumped forward, she gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders, holding her close and nuzzling at her temple affectionately. She gave Tristan's hand a brief squeeze, and then let out a breath of relief when she seemed to remember who she was and why she was here. Gwen nodded her thanks, and then jolted a little when Tristan pressed their lips together--
There was a brief taste of copper, but she sighed and leaned into the kiss, and when they broke apart, she nodded.
"Welcome home, beautiful," she said, and she looked back to Jet. "We'll go to Faustite. I promise, I'll make sure she's looked after. Thank you so much."

Once the flow of Chaos had done its job, Jet pulled his hand back and brushed off the nonexistent dirt on his uniform. Really, he was just trying to find a distraction for himself while they, well… kissed and stuff.
“Just make sure you report to your superior officer and get everything situated for Tristan,” he said as he stood and pulled out some chocolate bars and sports drinks from his subspace -- oh, but that was probably weird to drink with chocolate, so he pulled out some water too -- so he could offer it to the two sitting on the fountain.
“Here, to make sure you don’t get too dizzy. I can take you to Negaspace if you need a lift, or if you’d rather… uh… spend some time together. Just be safe. I don’t feel any White Moon nearby but they’ve found ways to hide their auras before.”
Oh, the two Senshi probably had no interest in what the White Moon could and couldn’t do when they were making mushy faces at each other. He’d kind of encouraged it, but. Yeah, he was just going to let them do their thing.
“Contact me if you need me. And get her to a Mauvian so we can make sure her pen works and… yeah.” Did Axinite ever feel this awkward? He should probably just teleport back to Negaspace if they didn’t need him for anything else. Orangeish Sherbert I think that should be a wrap for Jet, unless you want more from him!
