“I’ve been watching you,” probably wasn’t the best way to start a conversation. Much less a conversation in the dead of night when there were questionable people out and about. Jet held up his hands to show that he meant her no harm as he approached the girl. Felicity, he’d learned.
“Have you ever considered doing something more with your life? Instead of just going by, day after day?”
He knew he probably didn’t look all that impressive, so he didn’t bother making a show of himself. He still wore his cape, epaulettes peeking out from underneath, but he kept his weapon in subspace. There would be no need for it. This girl was nothing like Seth or Cassadega, but there was still something about her that drew his attention, especially now that he was actively looking for the right people to recruit.
“I’m talking about a chance to protect yourself and those you care about. A chance at being something greater than you are, than you ever thought you’d be. To serve a greater purpose,” he said, his voice quiet as there was no need for pomp and circumstance. She would either agree, or he would just have to take her energy and possibly her starseed. It wasn't typical for her to be out late at night, but with the end of the school year coming quicker than she expected, Felicity desperately needed a yoga class to clear her head as she prepared for the final stretch of assignments and exams. When she heard someone walking behind her back to her parents' house for the weekend, she thought nothing of it... Until he finally said something. Her lips pursed and Felicity slowed down at first, then came to a complete stop. He couldn't have been talking to her, right? Her head tilted slightly as she turned to face the stranger with inquisitive eyes. "Me? You've been watching me?", she asked. Why on earth would anyone do that? Her instincts told her she should run as she eyed the boy and his strange outfit, cape long and flowing. But something inside of her wanted to know more. Wanted to hear what this guy had to say. So instead, she stepped forward. And the more he spoke to her, the more she lit up. "Something greater," she whispered back at him. If she could have actual, literal sparkles in her widened eyes, she probably definitely would. But she absolutely, positively did not want him to take away this strange but definitely not sketchy opportunity so she straightened her posture and offered him a grin. "Okay," she countered. "Tell me more about this... Whatever it is that you're offering me." She couldn't just out-right say yes. That would be ridiculous. Or would it. She really just wanted to say yes to him. Yes, yes yes yes YES! But alas, she had to play it cool. She would not be desperate. But really, she was already prepared to take him up on his offer for greatness.

Aurostibite seemed to have a good eye for potential recruits. At least for the most part. It sucked that Seth turned out to be a senshi, but he had no issues with Jet as his General so far. He was loyal and seemed interested in the Negaverse. Cassadega he’d decided to try and recruit her, himself. She had the energy and drive to do whatever she wanted, really. And he’d been lucky that so far it seemed as though the Negaverse was what she wanted.
Felicity he’d been watching, and while he’d hoped she would be interested, he was a little surprised that she seemed to take interest right away. At least how her eyes widened at the whispered something greater back to him. Much less did he expect her to ask him to explain more.
“I can give you power,” he said, holding out his hand now to call his weapon from subspace, letting the pole with the two blades materialize into his hand from nothing. “You’ll be able to do so much more than you’ve ever imagined. All that would be required is some of your time, and your loyalty. And I’ll give you mine in return.”
She didn’t know him very well. With Cassadega he’d talked to her on more than one occasion, but Seth had been a single meeting. He had no idea how this would go, or if she was just playing along. She was a good actor if she was.
After a few moments, he let the weapon disappear and took a slow step forward.
“I can make you great. Strong. Powerful.”

Power.That was something that everyone wanted, right? She practically vibrated as she fed off of the man's energy, his existence and his outfit and basically everything he was saying. Suddenly a pole with blades on either end appeared into his hand out of thin air. How. Did. He. Do. THAT?! Her lips parted as she stared at him, silenced and dumb-founded, mouth agape. Would she be able to do that if he gave her power? And more according to him!? "I have time," she blurted out immediately. Surely if he had been watching her, he must know she went to Romano's, right? Hopefully her schooling wouldn't be a problem for him and the power he apparently wanted to offer her. She didn't want him to take it back. "And loyalty," she added before swallowing and trying to make sense of everything. As quickly as the weapon had materialized, it had disappeared and just the same as before, Felicity was awe-struck. "Would I... Be able to do that? Make things appear out of no where? That was... That was incredible. And the fact that he wanted her. He chose her for power and strength. And his own loyalty and time! "I mean... Between you and me... Do people really say no to these kinds of offers?" Her voice was low, just above a whisper, like she didn't want anyone else to ruin this opportunity.

Her enthusiasm was surprising but not unwelcome. Jet stared at her for a moment, and then pursed his lips together in thought. He really hadn’t expected this to be as easy as it was. Not that he didn’t have high hopes for her. He’d been watching her for a while, after all. It was important to know who he was trying to recruit, although Cassadega was the only one he’d talked to on more than one occasion before trying to bring them into the Negaverse.
“Yes, you’ll be able to do that,” he confirmed, watching her curiously. There was a pause and then a small smile and whispered back, “In my experience, no.”
Out of the people he’d been around and seen corrupted, there hadn’t been anyone who refused, although he knew it happened more than he’d experienced. Otherwise there would be many more senshi and knights converted to the Negaverse than there was.
“Come with me. I’ll make sure you won’t regret this,” he offered out his hand to her, feeling more confident about this one than he had in awhile. She was smart and had potential. “There are others you will need to meet. Citrine and Gadolinite. And Aquamarine and Seraphinite,” he explained, a little excited now that she seemed to be all for this and he didn’t have to do much to convince her.
