It had been almost a week since Aurostibite's disappearance and she was feeling sick. Tired. Worried. Unlike when she had been kidnapped, she could still see him. He took time to find her, bring her food and comfort her. Even when she was tortured, she could still hold on to the hope that Auro would make it to her, and then save her.
Her searches extended further and further out. Into the deeper part of the cities, into the darker part of the streets. She hated the searching among homeless, and in the week since Auro had been missing, had reverted to the darker side she had never known existed in her.
In her searches, she would drain the old men and women in the darkened streets, leaving them unconscious in the street. Her wraiths seemed happy enough with that.
She hit another dark alley and felt the basic aura of a nega. She walked towards it and could only see the back of a brown haired youth.
"Excuse me..." She could ask about Aurostibite, even if she had asked many more before her.

In his opinion, the Dark Mirror Senshi were just as bad as White Moon, so when he could sense the aura of one approaching, he did his best to ignore it. There were still a few in the Negaverse who wanted to make friends with these senshi, after all. Until he was in a position of power himself, he didn’t want to be burning too many bridges.
But when he heard the voice from behind him, he knew right away that this was not some random Dark Mirror Senshi. He knew this one when she was once on the side of the White Moon.
“Well, isn’t this a surprise,” Jet scoffed, turning from draining the drunkard in the alley of his energy. He held the orb in his hand for a moment before sending it to negaspace for safe keeping. “Or not really. I always expected you’d be a turncoat,” his mocking grin turning into a snarl. He knew exactly who this woman was and it disgusted him to see her in black. He was certain she would look better in red.

She knew that voice too well. It haunted, sometimes, her memories of being the negaverse's captive. Of having her starseed played with like a toy. Of being under the mercy of three little boys with no respect for her, or what she had been.
It was the only negaverse agent she couldn't bring herself to forgive. And oh, how tempting it was just to make him pay. She was loose, she was stronger. She had no qualms in the past like she had before.
Her arms crossed and she gave him a look over.
"Didn't make captain now did you." She smiled, "Probably because you are a loser." She examined her nails and laughed, "did you? How so? From where I was in that point, the only thing I thought of was killing you. Something designed on the order side." She rose a brow. He was right, she did look better in red. Her eyes shone with the new blood red color, contrasting her white hair. They were not innocent blue eyes anymore.
She was no longer a innocent white moon. She was a fighter, a scrapper. She took now, what she needed, to survive. Jet threatened her survival.
"Are you going to run, little failure?" She cooed as she stepped forward, "I'm loose, not in chains. I've always wondered what it'd be like to return the favor." Her compact was out, summoning her large wraith that floated around her. "First we have to drain your energy so you don't move, isn't that right?"

“At least I didn’t have to sleep with anyone to get to where I am,” he shot back, not liking the suggestion that he hadn’t been working hard. He was still young, still learning. What excuse did she have? “How long did it take you to power up to where you are now, hmm?” he wondered, knowing full well he was still within the average time for promotion. Many were in the Negaverse for years before they get promoted!
Jet lifted his hands when she summoned her wraith, not yet backing down. “You’re going to drain my energy? Very well. And then what? Kill me? If you follow through with this, you better make sure I’m dead, because if you don’t, I’ll make sure everyone knows how you’re unfit to work with those in the Negaverse.”
He knew she would overpower him in an instant. If he ran he might be able to escape in one piece, but he wasn’t a coward. Stubborn and stupid, probably, but not a coward. Besides, if he died, who would mourn? Jericho? Maybe Lovely? He didn’t exactly have anyone else. Perhaps she could end his miserable life and do everyone a favor. An easy escape from the guilt he carried.

Mintaka laughed because it was like a teenager to assume sleeping with someone got them anywhere.
"Do you base your assumptions on movies? Have you ever slept with anyone Jet? I bet not, Maybe if you did, then you'd move up." But her red eyes twinkled with a cruelty she never had before. She should be ashamed of his comment, stuttering at the assumption. She should have been rushing to her own defense. But words meant nothing to Jet and they ever had.
"My power came from being the stronger one. My power, came from accepting a different path." And she laughed again, "A year at most, Little Jet. I don't need promotions, or pats on the head. Unlike you lieutenants, my power comes after honing it. It's why, I will forever be better then you. I don't need approval, I make my own."
The wraith danced closer to Jet. "Of course I am going to drain you. I don't think the negaverse would mind when its a lieutenant who needs to learn to respect those stronger then him. You know, Captain Aurostibite and Captain Umber taught me a lot. General Galena too." She cocked her head as the wraith wrapped itself around Jet, pulling at his energy slowly.
"Whose words are going to matter more? The lowly lieutenant, or the two captains who have seen me work with them in their missions. Face it Jet, you are nothing more, at this point, then a lowely pawn chess piece. I'll always outrank you." Even in dark mirror court, and even though they had been attacked, the negaverse still would look to them in hopes of some use. As long as she gave them that, then the possibilities were endless.
It was too bad she couldn't just push him into a mirror but well, she wasn't after killing him. Just the small satisfaction of being able to return the small amount of pain he had done on her.

The sneer on his otherwise youthful face grew as he glared at the senshi, although something else seemed to cross his thoughts at her words about sleeping with anyong, his eyes taking on something of an unfocused quality for a moment before he was able to draw himself back out. He hated her for who she was, what she stood for, and everything she thought she’d become. She thought she was powerful, but she was just as pathetic as the rest of the senshi that paraded around. The only reason why he wanted power was so he could exact justice for his brother.
The wraith came closer to him and wrapped itself around him to draw from his energy, but he didn’t bother trying to escape. “You think I care? Good for you. Kill me if you wish; it’ll only prove me right. You think I care if they consider me a pawn? I will do whatever is necessary, whatever is needed of me, and I will always have something you’ve lost forever.
“Loyalty,” he spat, watching the wraith out of the corner of his eye, but focusing his glare on Mintaka. “Do you think anyone can truly trust someone like you? Someone who abandons their own? You forget that I was there when they came to rescue you. Did you even know their names? Normally I think the White Moon are a bunch of cowards, but they tried saving you, only for you to turn on them.
“What do you have to say about that? Are you happy you’re a traitor? Happy you have a family with the Mirror senshi now at the expense of your old allies? Happy to accept a different path and hone your power that you would have never achieved had you not forsaken those who died for you?”

The wraith started to solidify around Jet, as it took his energy. It did it slowly because well...She wanted the pain.
"Traitor." She smiled, "I'm the traitor? Oh Jet, you've got it twisted so far, you'll do anything to be right. The white moon court doesn't operate that way. Order...doesn't operate that way."
She didn't have to explain to Jet how Megiddo threatened her nightly, just because she chose to speak to chaos rather then beat it to a pulp. Or the camp that was run by her and another senshi, the one of wildfires. One where they taught you to kill and not care. White order was just as terrible as Negaverse. How could you be good when you did the same thing?
"When you guys kidnapped me. Only one order senshi came from me, his name is Hydrus. Or are you talking about Megrez, who came in at the end? The one who said they had been after other people but didn't know I had been missing?" She laughed pathetically, "They weren't there to rescue me. They were there to rescue their little group of friends. They would've left me in a heartbeat, if it wasn't for Hydrus and him." She looked at him. "The question you should really ask, is did they even know my name? Because let me tell you. They'll name everyone under there.....but me." She called the wraith back now.
"I don't have time to waste on a kid whose never suffered a loss. Whose never been forced to choose a side they didn't want and to make that tough decision to leave their life behind because of it. I don't have time to waste anymore..........on you Jet." She stepped back, anger burning on her face. Anger and immediate sadness. "Good luck on becoming a general Jet. Hopefully you'll learn to work the tools given to you."

Keep talking… keep talking… Jet watched the senshi as she smiled and explained how the white moon works, as if he didn’t know. And then what happened when the Negaverse kidnapped her and how only one senshi came looking for her. It was what he wanted. For her to keep talking.
The more she talked, the more solid that wraith would become. Even though his energy was draining and he might not be able to finish it off with one blow, he could still cause it serious damage. She was getting emotional. Good… it would mean she would lose focus on what she was trying to do.
Just as she called the wraith back, he reached out his hand to call his own weapon, to try and shove the tiny plastic blade through its body, but then she said something to cause his eyes to snap back towards her.
Never suffered a loss.
His legs were weaker than he thought they would be after the energy was pulled from him, and despite his attempts to remain upright, ended up falling to his knees. He let out a shout of anger as she started to withdraw, to leave him there. And yet, he couldn’t open his mouth to tell her just how wrong she was. He was too weak, too inexperienced, and he hated himself for that. But he had no pity or sympathy for her. After all, unlike her, no one would care if he died.
