Breathing was difficult, Jet found, but he supposed that would be the case if his ribs really were broken. He was positive his arm was broken, because it wouldn’t hurt like a b***h any other way. If anything, he was surprised he hadn’t passed out again from the pain.

Maybe it had something to do with his powers as a Negaverse Captain, but he wasn’t sure. He figured that would be his luck, though. Instead of dying like a normal human might have, he was still hanging on. Okay, so he was not quite to the point of dying, despite lack of food and water and proper medical care, but everything still hurt and he thought dying might be better at this point.

The dried blood on his face made it difficult for him to open one of his eyes, but he managed to glare towards the direction of his cell door when he could feel the aura of a senshi approaching. “What the ******** do you want?” he spat, although not as strongly as he would have liked. This senshi looked young, probably around his own age. Maybe the blood would end up scaring the kid away. That would suit Jet just fine.

All in all, Chara was so so SO pleased with the outcome of all of this. The kidnapping of the Negaverse agents, locking them away for whoever knows how long to see how THEY liked to be treated this way! Though he wasn't actively one one who did the kidnapping he still did his part of making sure no one actually DIED at this point. Atleast not the young ones anyway. Young people were still easier to change and convert than the older ones since they weren't super stead-fast in their ways.

Yeah, sure, he was here to talk to the younger ones, but he CERTAINLY LOVED seeing them suffer. He saw what they could do regardless of age. Some of them showed some remorse, and he could tell that a few didn't have a choice. A few of them mentioned some carnival or another that happened a while back where they were told to join the evils or die and in that case Chara couldn't blame them. But there WAS a way to go back, right? Sure there was. So it was time to do a bit of... 'Personality Assessment'. With a tray of food and a few bottles of water, and a bit of medical supplies, Chara made his way to a particularly fussy Negaverse Captain. They can be converted, he just had to TRY. Try or kick his a** a bit more. Whichever came easiest. And if the leaders wanted to be all mad at them, well, ********. Sure they did the kidnapping, but he would be lying out of his a** if he was going to follow their every order.

"What the ******** do I want? To get you to clean up your ******** act, ********." The door of the cell opened with a loud creak and once he was in the chocolate senshi closed it with a foot. The kid before him looked pretty messed up, and it smelled like s**t... Guess the older senshi just didn't give a ******** about ages or proper treatment. But if he was fine enough to cuss at him, it couldn't be THAT bad.

"I'm gonna give you some food, clean you up, and fix your goddamn face, because gods know you are a blight on my eyelids right now. And you smell like death itself. So you can either shut the ******** up for a bit and take it, or s**t on a brick, though.. I bet you have already done that, huh?"

Jet scowled at the scrawny, obnoxious looking senshi. He was tiny, and Jet was sure that if he wasn’t tied down, even with his arm and ribs broken, he could probably beat the crap out of this kid and feel no remorse. The fact that the kid was coming in to play good cop with him now was more annoying than anything else.

“I don’t want food, and you better keep… your ******** hands to yourself,” he hissed, covering up a whimper of pain by raising his voice a bit more. He didn’t want to be touched, he didn’t want help, he didn’t want food. He knew how they worked. Keep the prisoners alive so they could be continuously tortured. He wasn’t born yesterday.

Of course, with the lack of food and water he’d had, his head spun and every injury he had seemed twice as bad. He couldn’t see it under his blood stained shirt, but he was sure his whole chest was bruised from the cracked ribs, thanks to Castor’s visit. There were times he could barely breathe. Now was starting to feel like one of those times. If that meant he was coming close to dying, he would happily take it over being kept there.

“If me not shutting… up means you leaving… me the ********… a-alone… then………….. ******** you…” he wheezed, his voice growing softer against his will with the exertion. He coughed, but it only ended up hurting more. In fact, if he just stopped breathing, then it didn’t hurt as much, but then his head spun and he felt like he would be sick. Luckily there was nothing for his stomach to expel at this point. Talk about feeling pathetic…

Chocolate boy just watched for a few moments as this beat up kid before him kinda growled then fizzled out like a puppy fighting bed time. There was nothing tough about this to the senshi; it was damn right pitying! Hell, even he wouldn't be that much of a stubborn a*****e if given that point. Okay, now that was a damn lie, he would fight tooth and nail before he was captured, which vaguely made him wonder of this kid had tried that too. Something told him he did, based on how ******** up he was.

By the end of the angry fizzle and die of a conversation, Chara kinda just plopped down infront of the kid, just out of headbutting reach, and put the tray between the two.

"How old are you? Like what? Fifteen? Sixteen at best? Are you SERIOUSLY expecting Me to kill you? Some of those other assholes are all 'Woohoo! Murder time ya'll! Let's ******** em all up for what they did to us!' But me, naw, not today. Atleast not for you." Picking up a bottle of water from the tray, Chara began to unscrew it, making sure that soft crackling sound from the seal breaking could be heard so that the beaten kid before him could know he didn't tamper with it.

"Unlike some of the other ******** I've met today, you are kinda.. Familiar? Like, age wise, anger wise, language wise." Chara paused to chuckle slightly at this. "But the question is, how the ******** did you end up tied to that pole, and I end up over here. What ******** with you enough to go with people who would willingly ******** up the normal folks? And don't worry, this ain't no bartering system. If you want some water, don't ******** bite me. Or I WILL grab your nose and force it down your ******** throat. And if you choke, good, then after I resuscitate you, you'll be passed out long enough for me to fix you up without giving me more of that shitty little puppy fight."

This kid wouldn’t stop talking. As if going through being physically tortured wasn’t enough, they had to send in some dumb kid to talk to him to death.

Jet wheezed pathetically as the kid sat down in front of him. At least if they were close to the same age, Jet was obviously taller than this kid. Not that it really mattered with him being tied up as it was. <******** you… I don’t want… water,” he gasped, more beads of sweat forming along his brow with the effort. How he had any moisture left in him to sweat, he didn’t know. The less water and food he had, the sooner he would die, and hopefully it would be more painless than anything else. Definitely more painless than listening to this tiny, obnoxious senshi.

He was prepared to bite this kid, too, if he got too close.

Chara wanted to commented on the whole 'who hurt you..?' aspect of it all, but it was rather obvious who hurt him. Some of those other senshi were way way WAY too violent. He'd love a good fight, yeah, but beating up on the weak was just ******** up beyond all reason. Eeeh, not much he could do at this point if the guy wasn't going to cooperate.

"Welp, I did give you a chance, didn't I? Take a deep breath." There was no way in hell Chara was going to let this kid die because he was being a stubborn jackass. With a flick of his thumb he pushed the cap off of the bottle with one hand, and the other reached out to quickly grab the other's nose. If all went well, he would be able to force the weakened boy's head back and dump the water down his throat. Sure he'd choke a bit but atleast he'd have some liquid in him.

Guine
You decide whether or not Chara was successful with this, or if Jet bit him. I can go along with whatever!

Jet was not expecting this guy to follow through with his threat of trying to keep him from dying. Okay, so that was kind of weird to be considered a threat, but it was definitely not welcome.

His eyes widened in surprise when the Senshi told him to take a deep breath. "Wha-??" he sputtered, unable to struggle away from the hand that suddenly grabbed his nose and forced his head back. He tried biting down to stop the kid from sticking the water bottle into his mouth, but he was too slow and Jet's teeth met plastic.

Angry, panicked tears filled his eyes as the water was forced down his throat, and he coughed and sputtered around the bottle, trying to get it out of his mouth. It was a useless effort because he was already too weak to fight, and restrained from being able to try.

Eventually, the only thing he could do to avoid breathing in the water that was forced down his throat was to swallow. He hated it. He didn't want to. That would just prolong his life. Maybe. Unless someone came in to finish him off, or if he ended up drowning from this kid's attempts to 'save' him.

By the end of it, he couldn't even manage to spit out the rest of the water that filled his mouth and fell down his chin. He was too focused on just trying to breathe and ignore the pain in his chest from his broken ribs and the tears that streaked his face, mixing with the dried blood.

Chara DID try to make the water flow with a steady pace so as NOT to choke the ******** out of the Captain before him, but it just wasn't gonna happen, not when he was trying to fight it. So he just let the water run until he deemed it enough. Sure, under normal circumstance a person who was REALLY thirsty could easily down the bottle of water in one go, but this kid just wasn't in good enough shape so a little less than 2/3rds though the bottle Chara pulled it away and released his nose. The Bottle was capped and put to the side, as the Senshi just sat there with his hands on his knees, waiting for Jet to calm down.

DAMN was this little drowned looking Captain pitiful looking. Half drowned, crying and heaving like the world was sitting on his chest. And that position must have been uncomfortable. Pity overtook him, what could he say.. This kid could have been HIM if the positions were switched. 'Cept he was pretty sure the a*****e would have just stabbed him in the chest and try to take his starseed. Well, while the dude was recovering from THAT ordeal, a rag was wetted with the left over water and used to quickly clean up the kid's face, freeing it of some of the caked up blood that had stained him. He was so tired looking. No kid deserved this, not even if they were a Negaverse a*****e.

After a brief moment of looking around Chara decided to against his better judgement to ease Jet's pain.

"Okay, alright... Thank you for drinking, even if you put up a fight.. Here." It only took a few seconds to get behind Jet and untie the bindings on his writs, freeing him from that terribly uncomfortable position he had been trapped in for who knows how long. A hand was placed on the small of Jet's back and on one of his shoulders, trying to lower him onto the ground.

"Lay down, okay? Just for a bit before those ******** come by and try to fight again. I don't want them to see you free or they might do something even worse."

Jet didn’t have the energy to fight back when the kid took a rag to try and clean him up. Which, of course, only made him more upset and frustrated that he couldn’t do anything to stop it, on top of the fact that there was no point in cleaning his face because he was probably going to be killed like everyone else who were there. He’d been shown very little mercy as it was. Part of that was his own fault since he put up a fight, but some he didn’t think he deserved.

He didn’t say anything as the senshi untied him, but instead sobbed quietly. Everything hurt and made him wish they’d just end it for him already. He didn’t have the strength to fight when he was encouraged to lay down on the ground, but choked out another sob of pain. Once on his back, he lifted his good arm to cover his face, utterly embarrassed and unable to look at the kid who’d just forced him to drink some water that probably would be what kept him alive just a little ******** you,” he said again, but there was no heat behind it. Just a weak sob as he tried to breathe. He knew it was his own fault for fighting against the senshi so hard, but he didn’t want his pity or his help. “Just… let them kill me,” he said, thinking it would be easier on everyone this way.

Once the kid was down on his back and pretty much showing no signs of resistance, Chara took a seat down next to him, pulling his legs to his chest and resting his chin on his knees. He'd let him rest as long as he could and keep his attention on the hall, waiting for footsteps. But there was only the sound of Jet's labored breathing and the occasional sob as he tried to curse at him some more.

The sheer amount of struggle and the fight he had in him originally just left Chara in awe. Why couldn't some of the knights he had met be like this guy?

"There's no way in hell this is going to be the end of you, kid." Chara whispered, watching the Captain closely both to see that he was still awake and to see if he some how hand the strength to get up and try to attack him. Luckily his heel was just in the right place to strike out towards his already broken ribs. Not that Chara was thinking about fighting nooooo.

"Things like this, they never end well for anyone. People will come for you, for all of these captured people and I'm sure there will be one hell of a fight. Right? You wouldn't have joined the Negaverse if they truly saw you as expendable. Hell, it's almost ******** envious, the sheer amount of organization they had compared to the Senshi who clawed about in the dark.

"I won't let them kill you. I won't let you die here. You're a ******** kid like me, even if you might be one of those murderous ******** out there."

Jet shifted his arm away from his eyes so that this senshi kid could see just how much he was trying to glare up at him. Never mind the tears that still streaked down his face and soaked into his curly, matted hair. He was just pissed that no one would just kill him and put him out of his misery.

As for the Negaverse and him being expendable… sometimes he really wondered if they were. They could easily be replaced, really. He liked to think that he was doing enough to earn his keep, but he’d managed to get captured by these lowlives.

“Like… hell you won’t,” he wheezed bitterly. They didn’t care that he was young. All these senshi and knights saw was another horrible Negaverse officer. And just to prove his point, Jet added, “If I could… move… I’d… ******** stab you… in the… face…”

The threat didn’t have the bite that he wanted it to have, with the way he was coughing and wheezing and being utterly pathetic and ugh it was so stupid!! Why couldn’t he just get up and strangle this dumb kid and end his little pity party for him??

Chara choked back a snort at the wheezing threat, shifting in position so he was on his knees now. This whole situation could have gone different if he was maybe his older sister, or his mother or someone. All nurturing or caring and gentle. Naw, this ******** was being a d**k so he had to respond in kind.

"Do you REALLY think you could stab me in the face? Hell, it wouldn't be the first time! I had one of your generals try to kill me and I LIVED. Even if you were fit, I doubt It'd be so easy to just stab me in the face." Of course he'd do his favorite thing to do when someone challenged just how tough he was; he took his fore finger and thumb and pried open his foggy black right eye in pride. There were times when his parents tried to get him to wear an eyepatch or something to stop freaking the other kids out, but what's the fun in that?

"The Negaverse already got one eye, I'll be damned if they get anything else from me." It wasn't really an angry statement, more of just a matter of fact. A foot came out and prodded Jet in the not-as-bad arm, frowning a bit more than his already resting b***h face.

"Dying isn't funny. It's permanent. You can't take it back. And who knows what happens when you're gone, ESPECIALLY with how the whole starseed soul thing works out. Don't beg for death because that s**t is lame as hell! Fight it. Get back those ******** who got you first." .... Maybe that was just a LITTLE more anti-Order than he had liked. Ehh, whatever, personal vengeance was ALWAYS Chara's thing, no matter what side you're on.

Jet scowled when the senshi mentioned getting attacked by a general and living. “Shame they didn’t,” he grumbled before making a horrified face when the senshi messed with his apparently fake eye.

“Ugh, s-stop that!” he whimpered, horrified by the thought of losing an eye. He was very grateful the senshi hadn’t thought of doing that to him just yet. Jet shivered and looked away, staring up at the ceiling with a growl as he sniffled a little. He didn’t mean to cry in front of this little s**t. And now that he did, well… apparently the senshi thought it was pitiful enough to not abuse him too much.

“Dying... is part of life,” he said softly, but only because his exhaustion was starting to catch up with him. “If… I want to die… it’s just…”

But he didn’t finish the sentence. He had no obligation to talk to this senshi about life and death and everything that he’d already experienced. The senshi didn’t care. He didn’t care about the senshi’s life. All that mattered was his ability to serve the Negaverse. He didn’t care if that meant he followed them blindly. He had his own reasons for wanting to stay.

“Just… go away…” he growled softly, turning his head away from the senshi to hide the fact that tears welled in his eyes again, frustrated with his own inability to do anything, and that was embarrassing, which only made it worse. Of course, with his experience with the senshi so far, he wouldn’t be surprised if the kid decided to step on his broken arm, or kick his broken ribs.

A small satisfactory chuckle came out when it seemed that his eye grossed the Captain. Despite of how pissed off he was at that general whom took it, he couldn't hold another Nega accountable for it.

Was that... Hrm, was that perhaps a little bit of an opening that Jet was giving him? Sure, he went quiet pretty quickly, but it was still something. That was important in the end. He wasn't just a ball of hate like some of the Senshi liked to make his faction out to be. He was human in the end, just like the rest of them. He hurt and bled. Actually, he bleed alot. Not Chara's fault though. Not this time!

"Yeah, sure. Death is part of life. Unavoidable, and sure, you can choose when it happens, but why the ******** would you want to do that? Life sucks, you end up like this, tied up in a dungeon or have your soul snatched right out of your bodies. Isn't that what your people do? Eh, anyway, you shouldn't just run into it. Don't you have something to do? Something to prove? Geesh, ******** it." Who was he to really try to pry out information from some little a*****e who still, even in this state, refused to submit.

Chara accepted the fact that the kid was going to be stubborn until the end, but the least he could do for now was to watch over him so he could at least have a bit of peaceful rest before the next senshi came by. Hopefully he was right and someone would come free him. Chara's own weak a** probably would get beat down by the leaders around here if he even considered helping Jet escape. Well, he's helping him a little bit. Maybe a little food, a little drink could give him the strength to make it when the time came.

"I'm not leaving yet so don't even bother. At least when I'm in here no one's gonna try to come and kick your a** again."

"Shut up," Jet growled bitterly, although his voice was weak as he calmed, laying on the cold ground. At least he wasn't tied up for the moment. It gave his wrists a bit of a rest, but his arm and chest still throbbed painfully.

Unbeknownst to the Senshi, Jet had never actually had the opportunity to pull someone's starseed out and essentially kill them. Not for lack of trying, mind you. He tried very hard to fulfill his duty as an officer and collect what he could. For now, it has just been energy, because he wasn't about to kill civilians. They would be better off being corrupted into the Negaverse and serving a higher purpose.

In fact, Jet hadn't had the opportunity to kill anyone. It seemed as though effort did not always translate to outcome. As for something to prove...? Not really. He just had nothing else. Not after his brother was killed.

Jet groaned pitifully when the Senshi said he wouldn't leave him, which was stupid and pointless. Someone was going to come in eventually, and then what? The kid would just get into trouble too. But at least this way, he had a chance to rest. Even if he wanted to try and escape, there was no way he would be able to move fast enough to get to the door.

"You... are so ********... annoying..." he mumbled as he closed his eyes. "I'm gonna... kick your a**... if I..."

He didn't get to finish his sentence, having not realized how exhausted he was until he had the chance to lay down.
