Communication Crystals were so BAMF. There wasn't an issue of minutes, or limited number of texts, nor any worry as with a walkie-talkie that the wavelength was public and accessible (whatever uninitiated parties could really make of what they overheard). Getting a hold of General Jet had been pleasantly straightforward, and businesslike from as much impression could be formed from a voice over a crystal and a handful of sentences. It left the corrupted super a positive hope for the meeting to come: after dark, on the roof of the Eppley Hotel's Art Deco architecture. As part of the National trust for Historic Preservation, there was a guarantee of the slowness to update some features, which in this case meant that all camera-type surveillance was lower down at the first tier of windows rather than aimed at the roof proper. The rooftop access was deadbolt locked at all times, so there was no threat of civilians coming or going- powered hopping from other nearby architecture was the only access other than teleportation. Haüyne arrived early, using the time as an excuse to practice back and forth Kong Vaults off the concrete formations that decorated the roof. Doesn't do good to stress about the What-Ifs of how this could go. Take the General as they are. take them as they are. And Dude's their senshi. And maybe they heard more clear one way or another what 'e thought of me other than being evasive. Communication's the key. Little steps. This'll work out. xGuine sorry for the wait~ heart

A corrupted senshi, as mentioned to him by Gadolinite, had requested to meet with him.
Why, Jet had no idea.
It made him a little apprehensive, if he was honest with himself. He didn’t try to hide his dislike towards senshi, but he never showed aggression towards negaverse senshi. They were supposedly loyal to Metallia, and therefore there was no need for him to be hostile.
And Gadolinite was his recruit and had never given Jet a reason to doubt his loyalty to Metallia, or his ability as a senshi.
He arrived as silently as teleportation could allow, having been around the area in the past and was aware of the video surveillance along street level. Something a Lieutenant he’d met pointed out to him resounding in the back of his mind; people in this city really didn’t bother looking up very often.
“Good evening,” he greeted as he often did, waiting until the other had found even footing before speaking so as not to startle them, and also trying not to seem too wary of what this senshi might want from him. A proposition of some kind? Perhaps they were the messenger for another General?

The corrupted senshi came to a landing when the feel of a General's aura invaded the general landscape, turned and barked a short, surprised and entertained laugh. "It's YOU. I remember you! You were the one all ticked off at Bus even though you won the match. That thing with those Generals Aurostibite and Xenotime. That's almost a year ago now, isn't it? I never saw your second round.." "But daym, lookit you now. A BAMF General with your own posse! So you're 'Jet'." A grin and a wink, and a light, but crisp salute accompanied introduction. "Haüyne of Execution. I met your Gado-gado, Serah Vs-his-Ws. I offered to partner with him in the field, if our schedules ever sync, since it's shite out there alone for reg-Senshi. I wanted to clear with you if there was any activities or training you wanted 'im working on specifically, since you're his C/O. "

Whatever Jet had expected from this corrupt, he was completely thrown. His eyes widened in surprise when the other apparently recognized him, talking about a bus and a match and something about Generals -
Oh, the tournament thing?
But before he could open his mouth to say anything, the other continued with a wink and salute and a whole string of nonsense that was apparently significant to him and -
“What,” he stared at the other, trying to figure out if this was a joke. Was someone playing a joke on him? Was this senshi for real? Hauyne wasn’t a familiar name, but something else the other had said seemed to draw something from the back of Jet’s memory. A senshi with similar colors claiming that they were execution. Not necessarily a senshi of execution, but.
That was rather curious, and Jet glanced over this corrupt senshi once more. Not quite with disdain as he would have had they been a White Moon senshi, but it might have been possible that they were one in the same.
Thankfully it didn’t seem as though the other remembered him outside the tournament. If they were the same person, at least.
“Gadolinite?” he tried to clarify and shook his head. “If you’d like to help him, I don’t mind. Controlling his magic would be good for him to practice,” he said, still watching the other curiously.

The lengthy stare was Something. ‘They speak English in What’? Bite it, self. It’s a General and that’s probably no sort of good first impression. Not...that it looks like one’s being made anyway. Dem Pauses are nine months pregnant as much an inch. Like Corrupted senshi like commanding officer, maybe. Playing cards close to the chest and quiet. Whether it was dislike, or distrust, or something else entirely was just a ball perpetually revolving in the air. It explained a lot about Gado, though. Haüyne rested thumbs into the waistband of uniform shorts and gave a succinct nod, “Gadolinite, yes. Glad it’s not treading toes. ” “If our schedules add up, at least. “ The General offered no other questions, and nothing else leading. Haüyne sucked a fang and nodded out of social tick that there was really nothing else TO do, “That was all, sir. “ “I’ll let you get back to it, then. Cheers, righto.“ No need to waste energy on a teleport, even if that seemed less awkward of an exit. The Corrupted Senshi turned to hit the proverbial brick manually.

Jet was entirely thrown off. It wasn’t that he had an immediate dislike for the corrupt, more like quiet, simmering curiosity that he couldn’t quite piece together to determine why he was curious, only that their personality seemed much, well, louder than his own. Not that Jet thought that he was quiet exactly, but it took a while for him to warm up to anyone. Trust wasn’t easily given. Even with General Aurostibite, Jet still didn’t feel comfortable around him enough to talk openly with him. Discussing business was fine, but anything else took time, if ever. Even Gadolinite only got bits and pieces revealed to him. Probably, Jet knew, was because there really wasn’t that much for people to be impressed with. He had his ambitions and impulsiveness, but meeting people one on one was never Jet’s strong suit. It made him feel like people were expecting too much of him. He might be a General, but even he would admit that he was still just a kid. “Take care,” Jet replied, wincing a little in shame at how quickly that meeting was over, but he was probably a little too late to have called out to the corrupt to maybe talk more about their plans on helping Gadolinite with his training, but… It wasn’t exactly expected for Generals to make small talk, was it? Ivynian Fin? Thank you so much, I really appreciate it and I'm so sorry for the wait!
