General King Axinite was prompt. While this was certainly not the first meeting he had hosted, it was the first meeting here and that made it as nerve wracking as the first he'd ever done. He had reviewed all the names, all the files, but he did not seem assured. Destiny City was among the largest organizations he had ever seen, and that they had not yet handled the 'extraterrestrial problem' of Senshi, Knights, and whatever else they'd dragged to earth with them, bothered him. There was a time when only the Senshi had plagued this Earth, but the longer the Senshi fought, the more they roped into their ranks. He had thought the problem had been bad in Maryland, but here? ...Something was severely wrong, here. And he was going to do all that he could to fix that. For Earth. For the Negaverse. For the fallen. Axinite was pacing in front of the room, hastening to ensure everything was perfect. He had readjusted the chairs into three different setups and still wasn't certain he was happy with the rows they were in. He had printed out a folder for each seat detailing the meeting, key pieces of information, resources he suggested, proposed reading, and two evaluation forms--a self evaluation and a general evaluation. He had stayed up all night preparing them. On each desk he had placed a bottle of chilled water, a pen, and a notepad. He had been restless, and spent all day baking. Near the entrance, he had three platters of snacks, paper plates and napkins. The entire room smelled of sugar cookies, chocolate cupcakes and blueberry muffins. He had thought a fruit platter might be in order, but he was already worried enough about the turnout. Axinite was anxious, and as the clock ticked closer to the designated time, no one had yet showed up. Of course, he shouldn't be nervous; he'd gotten here two hours ago to make sure everything was perfect. Partly because of first impressions, and partly because he was quite aware of Hessonite's meeting, which he suspected she had deliberately scheduled to be so close to his. He'd been doing this for longer than her and wasn't going to let her show him up, no matter how determined she seemed to be to get him off to a bad start here. Now though, the show was about to begin. He stood a little taller, a little more properly, and could only hope he wasn't going to disappoint. Quote: All Negaverse Agents in the Information Branch are expected to attend! If you are unable to post, you may either handwave your presence or that your character sent a letter of absence; if you would like, you may then have a private meeting with Axinite when you are more available. You may post whenever you like! This ORP will focus generally on introducing the new General King and assessing the run of the faction. Your character will have some paperwork at the end, so please stick around if you are interested in a solo credit and the opportunity to help improve the branch! Negaverse Agents not in the Information Branch are still invited to attend! Though this meeting is intended to focus on the Information Branch, any interested party is welcome to attend!

Captain Jet
Holding his breath made the butterflies in his stomach ease just a bit, but not enough to ignore them completely. The meeting had been called by one of the new General Kings, and Jet knew better than to screw up first impressions.
The heavy aura a General King emitted didn’t make things any easier for the young Captain.
The room itself didn’t look too intimidating at least. Snacks were offered at the front of the room, and although Jet’s stomach whined in protest, he fought the urge to help himself, and instead took a few nervous steps towards the front, his eyes following the General King.
“Jet, sir, at your service,” he greeted, standing at attention until he was instructed to do otherwise. That, and it made it less obvious that he was nervous. If only he could keep the color in his cheeks from getting too dark.

He could smell the food from down the hall, a good way down the hall, and while he wasn't one for sweets he had to admit the smell was still appealing in a warm and homey sort of way. With Katya walking at his side the General made his way toward the open doors and stepped inside. Slate eyes already surveying the area as he took note of the copper haired General King and than the Captain. At least someone was here in good time. "Do you want anything to eat Katya?" Looking down to the Russian blue at his side. While she nodded her head, requesting one of the blueberry muffins, he went and retrieved that for her before settling her on a chair and setting the food on a plat in the chair next to the one she was seated in. "Hold my seat for me." Came his gently spoken request, he chose to ignore how her nose went into the air and her tail swatted in his general direction.
The Captain was already there, in front of the General King, and that was where the General went. He still was a limp though less noticeable than the the meeting where the General King was announced to them, along with the other new rulers. "General King, I hope this evening finds you well." A smile even as he bowed his head to the other, long ashen hair falling over his shoulder to lay against his layer covered collar bone.
A glance was given to the Captain then. "And the same to you Captain." The smile was honest, as was the friendly look in his blue grey eyes. One would do best to not let themselves think he was just that - friendly and gentle....unless you were a senshi or knight. He liked it when they thought him weak, or nice, especially when they thought he was weak due to his size, or lack of size, he liked to prove their thoughts wrong.
"I hope you've found your time in Destiny City to be good thus far." The words were spoken again to the General King as his eyes had turned once more to him. He would do whatever he could to help the General King if he needed it. He hoped to see more of him...he seemed to want to work with them...in a way that felt like family...or a want for that family like feeling - he liked it. He just hoped his own past, his mistakes, didn't plague him with this man...didn't taint the others view of him...didn't make the other already think ill of him or think him weak. He wanted to make a good impression and maintain a good standing.

Corrupt Sailor Makemake
Makemake wondered in, still unsure of her place in the Negaverse, but starting somewhere at least. She was a very smart girl, and a tiny thing, making her look a few years younger than she really was, but she had a large inner Nancy Drew and a knack for ratting out information. Her decision to come to this meeting hadn't really taken much thought at all! If there was any place for her in the Negaverse, it was here!
Seeing all the organization and obvious preparation, she was thrilled! Even more so when she spotted the snacks. With a deceptively sugary sweet smile she obtained a blueberry muffin for herself, and half-skipped to a chair. She really could play up the 'innocent little-girl' act, but one would be wrong to think that she were harmless. She was anything but.
Makemake picked up the folder that was in the seat she chose and began looking it over. This was great! As a newbie she was feeling a lot more confident now that she would be able to serve the Negaverse with General King Axinite partly in charge. Having quickly glanced he folder's contents, Makemake closed it and placed it on her laps, and folded her hands atop it.
"Your preparation and organization are undoubtedly and refreshingly astounding, my General King. As a newcomer, this does not go unappreciated," She said with a bright-eyed smile, bowing her head respectfully before introducing herself "Makemake, at your command."

Victoria paused as he poked his head into the door. He wasn't sure about this, and he'd heard Hessinite was having a meeting too. Victoria was unsure where he really belonged, though he was working on being a good agent.
So when the meetings popped up, he decided that it might be something, to check out. He wanted to check out the other one too so he hoped he could maybe manage to make both. Even if he was slightly late to the other, he would do his best to make it up. He was curious, about the new generals.
Since he hadn't been here long, he still favored Lauralite, he knew her. Knew what she was about. She saved him from them. So the super senshi was fairly worried what these new General Sovereigns would think of him. He was trying not to do any nervous fiddling with his hair.
He was debating sitting somewhere at the back. Though he also was curious about the food, so for the time being he managed to venture up to the food and sneak a few bits. He was only in gen ops for now, but maybe if he found something that clicked he could learn.

Quartz was a captain in the Information branch. As such, timestaking or not, he was expected to attend meetings like this. He presented himself promptly -- his General would have no less -- and took a brief survey of the room to understand its layout. Prominently displayed were a set of . . . snacks . . . which he supposed was certainly one approach that a person could take, and neatly set in place at each seat was what appeared to be a stack of papers for each person. He had not been given leave to sit -- none of them had -- so he presented himself before General-King Axinite in turn, hands folded neatly behind his back. "Captain Quartz, sir," he said flatly, with neither passion nor disdain. It was a perfunctory exchange, soldier-to-commander -- he had no use for false pleasantries, especially if this General-Sovereign had already read his file. A few of All-One's scattered bodies clambered around Quartz's clothes, dutifully recording the proceedings for any later review that he might require. He ignored them, and the youma was -- mercifully -- respectfully silent, which was well enough. Quartz's eyes fell on the snack tray again. Cookies, cupcakes, blueberry muffins. No water, no juice, no punch. (No wine.) Either Axinite wasn't expecting his underlings to be able to provide much conversation in return, or perhaps it amused him to see which of them would politely take the bait of the snacks and struggle to form answers around their dry cookie-mouths later. Perhaps he really was a sadistic b*****d in sheep's clothing.

Lt. Sylvite
Sylvite hadn't even known about the branches until the new General-Sovereigns had shown up a few weeks ago. Before that, she'd been content just training and draining energy at the grocery store and sometimes using her superstrength to do flips from rooftop to rooftop, just because. Afterwards, when she'd asked around about the branches and learned that she was in General Operations... well, she'd thought that that was super boring.
So here she was, trying to specialize, like a good soldier would. Except, not the Special Operations part of specialize because even though she was starting to get the basics of fighting, she still didn't really like it. Even in training she always got hurt, and like... why would anyone want to get hurt more? Information, though, she thought she could handle. She was pretty good at talking to people, and figuring things out... and if anyone said she couldn't, she'd show them.
Plus, she could smell the cookies all the way from the end of the hall, and that was pretty exciting. When she got to the room, she headed straight towards the refreshments table and started shamelessly grabbing some snacks before turning her attention to the General-King.

Lieutenant Sarabauite
Sarabauite was positive of two things:
Information is informative. Information to uninformed individuals was informative. As a brand spanking new agent to the Negaverse, she was rather loss at to what she had to do. So anything with the word "information" in the name, to Sarabauite, was pretty much the place for her to start. She seemed to have wandered for who knows how long before she steadily made her way to where she thought the meeting was to be held. What surprised her was it was the most innocent of smells that drew her; the scents of sweets and sugary delights a sharp contrast to the burbling feeling of dark energy and military-style formality she had come to observe through other agents.
Before she entered, Sarabauite seemed to hover at the entrance of the room. Much to her chagrin, there was already people there, but at the same time, the smell of cookies made saliva pool in her mouth. She hadn't mean to drool buckets, but her appetite hadn't been the greatest since she accepted the invitation to join the Negaverse. Checking over her being twice, flexing wrists, swallowing thickly, and then trying to walk through the buckle and tremble of her nervous knees, Sarabauite entered into the room and immediately hugged the wall like she were a man on a mission. Except, well, she wasn't, nor was she trying to display her expert spy skills with subtly, she just didn't know how to go about obtaining information if it required human interaction.
Maybe... Maybe just standing around and listening is the best plan of action for now, she thought as she found herself on the move to the snack table.
Maybe just quietly grab a few things to snack on, ran through her mind as she sloppily clattered a few cookies and a muffin onto a plate.
And mind my manners... she thought as she moved away from the table, back to the wall, and stuffed her mouth full of the foodstuff; crumbs and bits of muffin covering the entire front of her uniform jacket.

Lt. ArsenopyriteArse, he would definitely have to come up with a new nickname, walked quietly into the room and was glad to see that he wasn't the only one there. Although he was in the main branch of the negaverse right now, he had been thinking of going to a more specialized branch once he became a captain and Information had been one of the two he was thinking about joining.
There was a Special Ops meeting too at the same time, but that held no interested to him. He was only really interested in the very basics of training and the Special Ops branch seemed to attract those who really attracted to fighting.
He looked around the room again, General Benitoite and Katya being the only familiar faces of those within the negaverse that he had conversed with before. He had been so busy with school and trying to keep up with the basic demands of being a lieutenant that he hadn't managed to have any more interactions with any other negaverse officers. Hopefully that would change during this meeting.
He saw the table full of the sweet food and his mouth started to water a bit. Unfortunately it looked like there were no drinks and so Arsenopyrite would just have to swipe some to take home with him. At least he had eaten already so he wasn't too hungry.
He looked at the desks and chuckled to himself a bit. This was just like being in another class. He decided to sit somewhere in the back on one of the aisle seats and picked up the folder perusing the information that was contained within it. Hopefully he wouldn't be in anyone's way sitting back here, and he would move if he needed to.

Lieutenant Reinerite
Although as a member of GenOps, Reinerite didn't have to strictly attend the Information meeting, it hadn't stopped her from doing so anyway.
After all she wasn't sure if she was going to remain in General Operations forever and the meetings had seemed like a good way to find out about the other three branches.
Besides it wasn't as anyone had said that she couldn't attend.. In fact to the contrary it had been suggested that she - well make that any interested Negaverse Officer - should attend...
And whilst the timing of the Special Operations meeting had meant that she had had to make a choice about which of the two scheduled meetings - Information or SpecOps - to attend, Reinerite fully intended to try also attend the Infiltration meeting on the following day.
Being unable to teleport meant having to hitch a ride via a Captain who happened to be attending the SpecOps meeting and from there Reinerite had ended up making her way towards where the Information meeting was due to take place having decided that the Information meeting was perhaps the better fit out the two scheduled meetings.
She wasn't sure at which point making her way became following her nose, but at some point she started to pick up the most delicious smells - topmost of which was cake and chocolate cake if she was not mistaken.
She wasn't.
There were chocolate cupcakes and lots of them and also cookies and muffins to go with the cakes and they all looked super delicious.
Reinerite managed to restrain herself however from simply helping herself, although she couldn't help but allow herself to stare longingly at the cupcakes for a moment.
However reluctantly she forced herself to face the front and wait for things to get started.
The meeting came first because that was what she was actually here.
Although she was very much hoping that there would be time for cupcakes later.

Lt. Carminite
It was always intimidating, being the new guy You're invisible because no one knows you yet you stick out like a sore thumb for the same reason, and it stays that way until you find yourself at least one other person to talk to, which subsequently pulls curious eyes away to the next unfamiliar face to walk through the door. It usually was a non-issue for him, but the setting this time was somehow different than just being the new kid in school. It seemed to carry a bit more weight than just wanting to fit in. The Negaverse was an organization, after all, requiring of its members an adequate amount of participation and contribution to make it a success. He'd have to do more than just blend in...
But for now, it being his first day and all, blending in seemed just a fine option.
Carminite had followed the slow trickle of people towards a door that, based on what he was told on the way there, led to a meeting that was to be held by the head of one branch of the Negaverse. Leucite was dutiful enough to have given him quite a lot of the information so soon after Carminite donned his uniform for the first time, but he was tired enough that a lot of it had slipped one ear and straight out the other. A meeting would be a good start to refreshing his memory, he thought, so he slipped into the room after a blue haired officer and felt pretty good about being there.
He nabbed a plate of goodies for himself--two chocolate cupcakes, a muffin and a few of the cookies--before taking a seat just beside the same officer. "Hope you don't mind the company," he said with a quick smile before taking a cookie off his plate and turning his eyes to the General King. The energy the man was emitting was a little off-putting, so he ate to ease the nerves were slowly starting to bubble up (which he would vehemently deny having if anyone asked).

Lt. RaspiteSince their first meeting with the new royals, Raspite had been taking time to figure out exactly where it was he belonged. It was through the "gentle" prodding of his mentor that he was pointed in the direction of the Information Branch. Leucite had figured that being in one of the less "Heavy" branches of the Negaverse might help the young lieutenant find his place among them, and perhaps even become more comfortable in the place he now found himself. Raspite, having grown up on the streets for the later half of his life, was very good at moving about unnoticed, and that fact alone made him dangerous when it came to gathering information. It also helped that he tended to be rather unassuming when in civilian garb, seeming like an ordinary young man just minding his own business. It was a blessing to be normal in this line of work, he had to admit that He entered now, into the meeting room, he amused by the scent of baked goods. He nodded and looked around before taking note of all that had already made themselves known. It was a small gathering so far, but he was certain that it would pick up in time. Once he noted the new General King, he bowed his head. He giving the man the respect that he deserved being of the rank that he was within the organization. "Lt. Raspite, present and accounted for." He grinned to himself, keeping his head bowed low as he bowed deeper. "I am not a current member of the branch, but do humbly request to join. I have been informed that my talents might be of use to those here."

Axinite watched as new faces began to fill the room. He smiled to Makemake, and nodded to the Agents who introduced themselves—Jet and Benitoite, Quartz and Raspite, and perhaps seemed a bit more at ease with their reception. "I am glad to have you all here. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Please, have a seat."
He gestured towards the table and then paused. "Help yourself to anything you like. I saw no reason to make this an uncomfortable experience, so if you're hungry, take whatever suits your fancy." He moved aside so that they had clear access to any of the baked goods. "And when you are ready, please take a seat. In your seat, you'll find a folder with all the information I intend to cover during this meeting. If you need to leave early to attend General Queen Hessonite's meeting, you'll still have the general gist of information there. I won't take offense if you need to leave early, please just try to sit close to the door or out of the way so we can continue while you're on your way out."
He did not dwell on the matter of Hessonite's meeting. Instead, he moved towards the desk in front of the room and took a bottle of water; it was simple, and matched the ones he had placed on all the desks. Though he had only spoken for a short while, he took a large swig and then set it down. Clearing his throat, he continued, "I should start with an apology. I'm certain many of you are not happy to have an outside force here to help you, much less one in the position I'm in. This is not the first location I've been transferred to, and if all goes well it won't be the last. I'll try to stay out of your hair, but the fact is that we have a job to do. I've been researching the history of Destiny City and I must say, you have quite a problem here. But you've done a good job keeping it contained."
Axinite remained in front of the group, and now that he was speaking, he seemed a bit more comfortable.
"This meeting is geared towards the Information Branch. If you are in another Branch, you are welcome all the same. I, myself, have not always been in Information. I was Special Operatives, prior, but I worked very closely with Information. All branches are unique in talents, but share a common goal—the eradication of these extra-terrestrial invaders. And we can see that goal met. Most of this planet has already been cleansed, but they keep popping up. It's an infestation we're doing all we can to control. I'd like to ask, if everyone could please take a seat and familiarize themselves with tonight's agenda? I'm going to try and make this quick for those of you that intend to head over to the Special Operatives meeting, however I will be staying afterwards for questions."
He had memorized the agenda, and while he waited for everyone to take their seat, went down the list: "We'll start with an Introduction, but I'll try not to drag it on. You'll see that the schedule continues with a Branch Overview and continues with discussion of the Database, Communicators, Goals, Acquiring Information, and we'll finish with Questions and Suggestions. Because—rest assured, I do not intend to come in here and uproot you all without good reason. I respect the fact that you've operated without anyone's outside influence in years. My goal is not to make enemies of you, but rather to improve this Branch—and improve the Negaverse. I've read your files."
He glanced across the faces in the crowd. "I see so much success, and so much potential. I'd like to help you tap into it. I suppose many of you have your own questions and are wondering why I'm here—why there wasn't an internal promotion."
He pursed his lips and watched them carefully, trying to read what he could of them.
"It's because you need results, fast. It's because I have experience you don't have—experience I'd like to share with you. I have been in the Negaverse for seven years, now, and I take this job very seriously. I'm not here to displace anyone. My job is to make your life easier, so we can better serve Metallia. I will guide you when I can, but please do not mistake my compassion for weakness."
In this, he seemed serious.
In this, there was a darkness in his eyes.
"I care about you, and your well-being, but I spent three years training Special Operatives units. I am not afraid to distribute punishment. I do ask that you refrain from making my life—or yours—harder. Hessonite is handling traitors. She is…passionate about her duties. If you find yourself straying, or doubting, come to me. Don't make mistakes. Now, that being said."
His hands were folded neatly behind him and he remained standing straight. "If you refer to the folders I passed out, you'll find my contact information—you can schedule an appointment to meet me in my office, but I've also supplied email, phone number, and personal address. There is no excuse for why you should not be able to reach me if you need me."
As he had said, in every folder was a sheet of contact information, as well as his personal identity—Justice Meyler, and the address of the Social Security office where he worked.
"I don't think it needs to be said that this information should never leave the Negaverse. Now, your files give me an idea of what you've done, but not who you are. I'd like a brief introduction from all of you—anything you'd like to share about yourself—or the Information Branch. Or any other Branch, here. This is as much of an introduction for me as it is for you. So, please, if you would be so kind?"
He sounded almost hopeful—eager.
He wanted to learn about them, and about here. About Destiny City, about Laurelite, Metallia—all of their Branches. Everything they were, and everything they had been. Books and screens could only teach you so much, and one of the important parts of having information was making sure you shared it.

Lieutenant ReineriteReinerite had glanced over at the sound of the voice next to her and shook her her head slightly at the other's question "Ah no, it's fine" she said politely.
And actually she didn't mind per se that the other lieutenant (Carminite) had chosen to sit next to her.
After all it wasn't like she could control who sat where.
She did however mind the plate with baked treats that he had brought over with him as the delicious smells mocked her decision not to take any, but she took care not to let it show on her face - well at least she tried to.
And then the General King was speaking and it was easier to take her mind off her fellow Lieutenant's plate of goodies in favour of listening to the copper haired man speak, automatically opening the folder and flipping to the mentioned piece of information as her grey eyes momentarily skimmed the referenced contact information before gently closing the folder and setting it back down on her lap.
She knew that she had been remiss in not giving her name to the General King like some of the others who had come to the meeting had and so when Axinite asked for a brief introduction from those like her who had attended she saw a chance to correct her earlier mistake.
"I'm Lieutenant Reinerite sir," she said politely. "And I am one of General Aurostibite's Lieutenants. He is also the officer who recruited me into the Negaverse."
She continued "I have been part of the Negaverse for about..." her voice trailed off for a moment as she had to think about it "For about a month and a half and I am currently part of General Operations but wanted to come along today to observe." Adding "When not powered up, my name is Ashley Williams and I am currently studying over at Sovereign Heights."
She had stood up to speak, folder neatly tucked under her arm and having finished she gave Axinite a polite nod before sitting back down as a part of her wondered if she should have bowed or perhaps even curtseyed as she had for the Queen - although the latter she acknowledged privately to herself as she settled the folder back on her lap would have been impractical given the chairs._ p a o cx she is forever envious of your plate of treats and even more determined to snag some for herself after the meeting

Placing the folder from her lap onto the top of the desk, Makemake listened intently. She couldn't help but think how sparse her own file must have been, though that could perhaps work in her favor. Better a blank-slate than a file full of unfavorable remarks.
After Reinerite, Makemake spoke up, Makemake took her cue and stood;
"Makemake, a basic level corrupt senshi, I was brought in to the fold by, now Queen, Laurelite during an operation lead by General Benitoite on Christmas Eve of last year. Much of my time since then has been reconstructing my civilian life as Elyon Meridian -- living arrangements, identity, school -- and finding my place here. I witnessed the invasion of the castle, and was a member in the party that retrieved the crystal for Metallia. Ummm.."
What did she have to offer? "I have first-hand knowledge of how Chibi Senshi ascend into full-fledged senshi-hood. Solving mysteries is my hobby, and has given me some skillsets that could be valuable."
Not much. Oh well. She sat down, indicating she was finished with her introduction.
