Personality: Mashaka is carefree and fun loving. His favourite activity is to just spend time with his cubs and mate. He loves being a father. As a youngster he caused his fair share of trouble so he expects that his cubs should do the same, its the only way they will learn.

Biography: Mashaka was raised by his father and his fathers mate. He never knew his actual mother a fact that bothered him to no end when he was a youngster. There was always a flurry of activity around him as he had four of his litter mates with him as well as four step-brothers that were around his age. As a result of being one of nine cubs Mashaka always felt as if he was pushed aside and unimportant never the focus. A feeling that was worsened by the fact that he knew his mother had chosen to keep two of the cubs with her and he wasn't one of the selected.
When Mashaka was little more than and adolescent he left his family behind and decided to join a pride. He found a pride that he thought he would fit in well with. It was a female dominated pride, but one that valued bright coat colours. Mashaka knew that because he was a boy that he would be seen as less but he also knew his coat colour would make him a desirable sire. It didn't take long before a female selected him out and just shortly after becoming an adult Mashaka sired a litter of five to a black pelted lioness with wing markings. Mashaka knew that the lioness, Kisikusiku, had no feeling towards him and only wanted him so that her cubs may be able to achieve ranks in the pride that she herself was never able to because of her dark fur. Mashaka was overjoyed with being a father and spent as much time with his cubs as he could, though because of the pride he only really ever got to bond with the males.
Before his cubs reached adulthood the pride collapsed. His family split up and went their separate ways something that bothered Mashaka a great deal. He felt lost again, he began to wonder the Rogue lands with no real destination in mind. It was years before he found where he was meant to be and it was quite by accident that he even managed that.
He came upon a pride of players, and again a pride that again valued his coat but this time because it was specifically purple. He quickly found himself feeling at home and settled into the pride he had never quite felt like he had belonged in the Rogue lands. It was in the first few days of being in his new home that he met Hinekiri, the daughter of the current King. He was instantly swept away with her, they had a whirlwind romance and before he knew what was what the couple were welcoming a litter of four cubs.

Personality: Shakuntala is much like what her name means; broken. She was once a shy lioness, but as her life changed and things happened she has fallen to pieces. She is still very shy and quiet and mostly keeps to herself.

Biography: Tala was once just a shy little lioness who joined a growing pride in the swamp lands. She wasn't alone when she joined in fact she was a member of band of six lions who had all been travelling together. She had quickly settled into the pride, and started a relationship with one of the other lions she joined the pride with.
It was shortly after she and the others joined the pride that murders started to happen. The little black lioness was scared, a feeling that only grew in strength when she learned she was pregnant by the male she had grown close to. It was before she gave birth that she learned that the father of her children was the one committing the murders. He had been caught and killed but now instead of being afraid of the murderer she became afraid of what was in her own womb.
When her cubs arrived she watched them closely afraid that any of them could show signs of being evil. She loved them all dearly and had no idea what she would do if a single one of them proved to be evil. Thankfully she never had to figure it out.
When fires struck the swamp she called home she made the journey with the rest of her pride to their new location, a beautiful home at the base of some mountains. Now her cubs are grown, as are her grandchildren; some of them have even left the pride she calls home. Now it is time for Tala to worry about herself, she has met a wonderful male who although is much younger than her compliments her gentle demeanour perfectly.

Biography: Born a member of the swamps Nitesh spent much of his childhood and early adult years terrified he would tun out to be a murderer like his father. Prior to his birth his parents had joined the pride with a group of rogues. Between the time that his mom got pregnant with him and had him and his siblings his father had gone on a murder streak before being killed himself. While Nitesh's mother was the sweetest lioness to walk the earth, Nitesh was worried that he would have a dark side just like his father.
By the time Nitesh went out into the rogue lands to find his true name and returned to his home a full fledged member Nitesh had finally settled to the fact that he was not evil. In his young adult years he took on a mate who also helped establish that he truly was a good soul just like his momma. Siring a litter of cubs to his mate Nitesh was excited raise a litter of cubs. It was around this time that his pride made the move from the swamps to their new mountain home. And while he had loved his mate their relationship eventually came to a natural end.
As time past Nitesh stated to get restless in his home, with his children all grown (and some even having left the pride) Nitesh began to consider leaving his pride that had always been his home. Once his mother had found a mate Nitesh took at his sign that this was as good as a time as any to move on with his life and find out what the great rogue lands held for him.
