Huwayda had gone to her classes for the day. She was told she had to but the happy go lucky cub would have been just as content to stay home, sleep all with her fahter.
As Huwayda made her way through the temple she looked around herslef. There was a great number of lions in the pride, she recognized a great number of them in fact.
The small cub yawned and took a seet, not even wanting to walk any further to her den in the temple, she wished it could just show up beside her. She laughed at herself, she really did take after her father, lazy through and through.

Ajali was not up to much, just learning all he could about his home and how to utilize his growing strength. He was still playful, though age inevitably brought maturation. He hadn't lost all that wonder, though, and a lot of things that most adolescents or adults lost interest in still held their novelty for him.
Like chasing bugs, or drawing in the sands. Simple things that cubs enjoyed, and he had no trouble still doing. He was good with kids, in that way, though he didn't think about it like that. He just liked having fun.
He was padding away from his den when he came across a young cub. He smiled at her, tilting his head.
"Taking a break?"

Huwayda looked up and saw one of her older brothers standing above her. She smiled lightly. "Hello" she greeted, a smile on her face, "I uh suppose you could say I am taking a break, though to be taking a break would probably mean I had to be doing something to take a break from."
The truth was Huwayda spent most of her time attempting to do nothing at all.... it was almost like a game. She would try to see how long she could go before someone made her do something. It was an amusing game for the young cub, though few others would probably understand it.
"How are you today my brother?" she asked the male before her, coming back out of her own thoughts.

Ajali looked at her, chuckling at her words. He nodded his head slowly, having been in that situation a few times before. He didn't think there was anything wrong in having a slow day, of course, though he imagined for cubs it was a bit different. It had been for him.
He had always been busy, playing with his siblings, learning, doing whatever was asked of him. And he liked that, too.
"I'm doing well. I think, like you, not up to much. Which is nice, in its way." He sat down heavily, sighing. He was turning out to be quite the easy going young lion, though he still had bouts of energy and enjoyed playing almost as much as he had when he was a cub.

Huwa smiled as her brother sat down. She rolled over onto her back so that she was looking at him upside down, a smile on her face, everything seemed much more interesting if it were upside down.
"Brother, what is it like to be older?" she asked. Huwa was curious about being an adult or even a teen, would she be able to continue to be lazy or would she have to learn to be more active. Her father seemed to be able to be lazy most of the time, but perhaps he was a special case.
Huwa thought about the pride and what she had seen from where ever she had chosen to lay that day. Everyone seemed to have their jobs and duties that needed to get done. It worried her slightly. What if she wasn't reliable enough to do a job would her pride be angry with her?

Ajali laughed at the question. It was a very cute one, after all. He didn't mean it in a teasing way, of course, and his mirthful shake of the head made that evident. He moved closer, dangling his tail over her stomach and tickling her fur.
"Well, it's a lot like being younger," he said, smiling at her. "But you have to do a bit more work. There's still time to play, of course. I guess you just play different games."
If work and pridal duties counter as games, then they played lots of different games.
"But don't worry about growing up too fast. You're okay, because you're a kid. I think you should keep your mind on being young first, before you worry about being older."
