 Nazih's life was finally starting to go just slightly better. He was upset about Sadiki being raped, his mate was going to have cubs, and it was against her will. It made him so angry. However if anything he was some what happy though. He was back home he was with what was now his mate. He had a few cubs now he loved them to death. It was great, he was really getting used to it.
He laid out on top of a rock, enjoying the sun that was on his pelt. He purred quietly as he relaxed the sun felt so great, he loved it. However he wouldn't have minded some company. He was sure that his mother was taking care of the cubs she said something about him and Sadiki taking a break today she was wondering how the older lioness was doing with that she was hoping that they wouldn't give her too much of a hard time. He stretched out a little more, flicking his tail off of the rock and flicking it around mindlessly.

 Mashaka true to his sneaky nature had gotten away from his grandmothers watchful eye. He was still a little bitter about the traveling. The need to come here for his father. Mashaka wanted to stay with his mother, but his mother saw nothing in him like she saw in two of his siblings. Mashaka could feel the anger building up in him again, as he sauntered down towards a rocky area not far from where the den was.
He wasn't sure what he planned to do with his freedom, but he kind of wondered what type of trouble he could cause between now and the time when someone from his family found him and scolded him for leaving his grandmothers side.

Nazih was pretty well relaxed at the moment. He was really enjoying the sun the sun was really nice, it felt good on his lighter pelt. He loved the forest that they lived in but the lack of sun left him a little cold some times. He stretched out some before letting out a small sigh. His eyes fluttered close for a moment before they opened again, as he did he noticed a small purple shape wander by him. Nazih's eyes snapped open just a little more before he stood up, sneaking forward quietly as he eyed the cub.
Then he pounced, carefully of course but he made sure to keep the cub from going some where. "Where do you think your going Masha?" He asked running h is tongue along the small lion's growing mane. He chuckled softly before nuzzling the cub. "I used to sneak away from your grandma a lot." He laughed softly before shaking his head. "What can I say, when there is only you, you tend to get caught a lot more." He winked at his son. "Your lucky you have a lot of siblings, its a lot easier to sneak away."

Mashaka looked up at his father, he had panicked at first he was busted but than her remembered that his father was just as adventurous as he was. "Yea I guess having siblings does pay of grandma didn't even notice me walking away." He was to young to think about how his disappearance might affect his grandmother.
"What are you doing down her dad?" Mashaka looked around wondering if SHE was here. Its not that his dad's girlfriend had done anything bad to him, in fact she was pretty nice but Mashaka despised the fact his mother hadn't seen anything special in him, nothing that was special enough for her to choose him to stay with her. And then his father made him travel her. Mashaka felt rather insignificant to either of his parents.

Nazih looked at his son, smiling softly before picking him up gently by the scruff and sitting him in between his legs where he was before, nuzzling his neck before chuckling. "Try not to sneak away too often, you'll give her a heart attack." He chuckled softly. "She worries about you guys." He chuckled nuzzling him again.
"I'm just taking some time for myself." He smiled softly before cleaning his mane a little more. "I wouldn't mind a little company though." He chuckled softly before closing his eyes for a moment. "Do you know why we are here?" He asked looking down at the cub. Miw-sher asked him that the other day, 'daddy why aren't we where we were before.' The question hurt a bit but it didn't bother him.

Mashaka let his father pick him up and move him without complaint. He knew his father would be able to force him to do it even if he had put up a fight. "Well I sneak away because I am bored with grandma all the time, she isn't as fun as you." he answered his father, truth was Mashaka was quite unhappy living where they were.
Mashaka kind of cringed when his father said he was spending time to himself, feeling like he should leave but then his fathered said he wouldn't mind company and that made Mashaka happy, he would stay with his father. "Why we are here?" Mashaka asked his father looking up into his eyes, "Well I guess its because mommy left and she took the good cubs with her, and I don't know you were lonely so you came back to your mom?" he asked gruffly."

Nazih looked down at his son and chuckled softly. He shook his head softly before smiling. "She's fun, but when there is five little handfuls it gets a little harder." He chuckled again before leaning down and whispering in his ear. "You see I'm fun because I don't give you guys baths." He teased softly winking at him. "I think you guys are fun because you don't give me baths." He grinned down at the cub then blinked at what the cub had to say, he couldn't help but to let out a small sigh. He didn't want the cubs to have the story wrong to tell the truth...
"Not exactly." He chuckled softly trying to keep the good mood up. "You see... Before I met your real mother I had meet Sadiki, I was living with your grand mom and everything was going pretty good. But then something very upsetting happened. It made me really sad and I had to leave for a while." He sighed softly before nodding toward the cub. "When I met your mother she was really upset and I started taking care of her. I cared about her a lot and then you guys came... She couldn't take care of all of you... And I missed my home too much, and Sadiki..." He thought about the time he was away from her, it was too much for him. "So when you guys could walk I took the ones that meant the most to me, I loved all of you and wanted to take all of you, but she insisted there was too many of you guys for me." He shook his head before sighing. "It was the best for you guys to grow up in a safe place, a loving place, so here you are."
He pulled the cub closer before nuzzling him. "My concern, you are just as good as them, maybe better. There is nothing more special about them. Just think though, you have way more playmates." He chuckled before licking his forehead once more. "I'm not even that sure if your mother is still with the other two... I think she brought them to a pride and after that I'm not that sure." He sighed but then smiled. "So, do you want to do anything today?" He asked with a small chuckle, nipping at the cub's ears.

Mashaka looked up into his fathers eyes. It was hard for him to believe that his father picked him over others what was so special about him. But his dad had a way of making him feel more special, and maybe it was true maybe he had picked him and it was OK. Besides he got to meet more of his family this way.
"Hmm what do I want to do." it was a question that Mashaka didn't get asked often, with so many siblings it was hard for all of them to individual attention all the time plus there was his dad's girl friend. "I want to... I want to... hrm." "I want to play a game with you, I want to play your favorite game daddy." Mashaka wanted to know his dad more, wanted to have a closer relationship.

Nazih looked down at his son, he didn't hear a comment come out of the little cub's mouth. he was hoping that the cub understood where he was coming from. He had a feeling that he would understand when he was older.
Nazih looked at the cub before standing up. "You mean what was my favorite game when I was younger?" He chuckled softly thinking about it, he hadn't really acted like a cub in a while. He looked around at the dense like forest around them. He grinned down at the cub nudging him softly. "Well I really liked to play hide-n-go-seek." He grinned at the cub before chuckling. "Would you like that?"

Mashaka smiled at his dad, "I would love to play hide and seek daddy." he said rather excitedly. He immediately started scanning the immediate area for a hiding spot that he would be able to hide his vibrant purple fur.
"Can I go hide first dad?" he asked, he doubted his father would tell him no. No wasn't a word that he often heard from his daddy. He smiled up waiting to hear the ok, so he could run off and hide. He already had a few hiding spots in mind.

Nazih looked at his son with a soft smile. He grinned before sitting down, he had a feeling her was the one going to be seeking. He chucking looking around too, he was wondering if this was going to be easy or not with his cub's bright fur, then again you never know he might find a good place to hide, he never knew. But if he knew where he was right away then Nazih was going to be a good father and wander around pretending that he didn't see him. Yeah, thats what Rana did with him some times.
He then chuckled softly then nodded. "I was hoping that you'd want to hide first, I don't know if I'm small enough to hide." He nudged him before sitting back on his haunches, lifting up a paw and covering his eyes with a big paw. "One..." He started to count.

Mashaka didn't wait any longer after his dad had begun to count he take off in search of his perfect hiding place. He ran off into a particularly rocky area. He could faintly hear his father still counting.
Feeling that there was some pressure to get into a hiding spot before his father opened his eyes and came looking for him. Mashaka chose a big rock to hide behind, one that had a few others around it. He tried to make sure he was completely hidden but as a cub he had little ability to be aware of how much of him might be showing. He crouched down and was ready for his father to look for him.

Nazih peaked through his paws slightly for a moment chuckling as he couldn't see his son already. He stood up and let out a small yawn, feeling no need to keep his eyes open at the moment. Is son was pretty much hidden. "Nineteen... Twenty! Ready or Not here I come!" He called out before he started to trot in the direction of where he smelt his son. Trying his hardest not to chuckle as he saw a purple tail sticking out from the rocks.
"Hmmm. I wonder where my son is." He said walking past him purposely. Using his paw to lift up a small rock and look under it. "Wow. Mashaka you're hiding good!" He chuckled softly as he looked around a few times, walking around him and looking around blindly.

Mashaka watched his father walk back and forth, and as far as he knew he was completely oblivious to where he was. He giggled to himself with pride over his hiding place. Then deciding to be a little bit of a trouble maker, Mashaka decided to start moving hiding places. Of course this was a risky game as Mashaka was still a cub and as a result was a little uneasy on his feet.
He was quite proud of himslef, he had hidden himself from his father! He tried to walk carefully but everyonce in awhile he couldn't help but stumble slightly on the rouch terrain, when this happened he would try to quickly hide himself behind a rock or stump.

Nazih looked around a little more, he was about to turn around to the spot that he knew where his son was. However when he turned around he noticed that the little purple cub wasn't there. He had a slightly confused look on his face. It took him a moment before he noticed the small cub stumbling to a new spot. He chuckled softly then started to sing a bit. "Where oh, where has my little cub gone."
A smirk grew on his face as he started to get closer to the cub, slowing down as he stood next to him he sat down with a huff. "Hmmm... I have no clue where my cub is." He sighed before reaching a paw out with out looking to the side, pulling the small cub close int front of him. "I have no clue where he is... He's a good hider." He mused outloud dispite the cub being in front of him.
