A Log between [nessiaing:: Itzel] & [Velveteen Angel:: Ili'ella]
Itzel:
Itzel woke up early for no particular reason. She was happy today she was walking along in the sunshine, it was a beautiful day. She pranced around with a pleasent smile on her face. It was amazing how pretty the day could be when you were in a good mood. She hummed to herself as she looked around her, smiling at the birds that flew above her.
Itzel was a happy lioness, she didn't have much to complain about, aside from the blank spot in her memory. For reasons unknown to her Itzel couldn't remember her past, one morning she woke up and it was a blank slate, she guessd that she had a family out there, a history. In actuality she didn't even know if her name was Itzel, it was just a name that had been suggested to her by a lion she met a few days after her memory had disappeared, but she was happy enough she thought that it suited her.
Ili'ella:
Ili'ella was singing softly to herself as she padded across the landscape. Her bright coat glistened in the sunshine as she moved. She was a bright lioness, in coat and attitude. She was rarely saddened or depressed, though it had been known to happen. “My darling, why are you crying? My darling, are you sad for me?” She sung, her voice happy despite the song she sung. “Don't you cry, for you're my everything. Let us be, happy in the moment, just us, let's be happy. Darling, why, why are you crying, for me?”
Spotting a nearby bird resting on a rock, she cut short her singing, dropping to her belly. She didn't intend to actually kill the bird, for it was far too pretty, but it would be fun to stalk it, she decided. Creeping close, still humming which was confusing the bird more then it was scaring it off. When she was within leaping range, she jumped up to scare her away. “RAWR!” She shrieked, giggling as it disappeared in a flurry of feathers.
Itzel:
Itzel was admiring a pretty birth pertured on a rock when all of a sudden a streak of orange brilliance came leaping through the sky. She couldn't help but giggle along with the other lioness as she let out a roar and landed on the ground. Saddly though the beautiful bird has disappeared, but Itzel did smile at the fact that she not had a radiant lioness to look at.
Catching her laughter and raining it it, Itzel looked towards the other lioness, her eyes almost looked like they had glitter in them. "Hi there." she said in greeting, "You missed it by an inch" she laughed. "My name is Itzel." she introduced herself.
Ili'ella:
Ili'ella heard the giggle of another creature as she moved and peered up, glancing at the pretty lioness who was looking at her. Her coat was light and yet, had bursts of colour. Perking up, she returned the friendly look. “I wasn't trying to hurt it,” she explained, smiling and padding towards the female. “Just having fun. It was far too pretty to be eaten, don't you think?”
She paused a little way away from the female and tilted her head, eyes glittering in joy at the other bright lioness. “I am Ili'ella. What are you doing out here on your own?” She was curious. Many people she found travelled with companions but perhaps she was like her, a lone rogue.
Itzel:
"It was very pretty." Itzel said looking up towards the sky where the bird had flowen away. "Bye bye birdy." she whispered. She moved her gaze back down towards the lioness, studying her. Itzel spent a lot of her time studying others, it was one way that she thought perhaps she could figure herself out. If she knew more about others surley they would tell her something about herslef.
"I think that I have always been on my own." Itzel said to the bright lioness, "I don't know though.' she looked at the other lioness it was hard for her to explain to others the utter confusion her life had, it was strange very few could understand the fact that Itzel knew nothing other then the last few months of her life.
Ili'ella:
Ili'ella watched the other lioness with curiousity. “You don't know that you've always been alone?” She asked, sounding openly curious. It was a strange statement and Ili'ella was usually the strange one in conversations. She wasn't much for hiding what she was feeling, she had little time for deceit in her life. Sitting down not far from the other lioness, she waited.
She had just been walking, but she was glad to have found a companion. The spirits would shine favourably on her now that she had met another kindred soul.
-
Itzel:
"Nope I don't know anything much past what happened yesteraday." she told the other lioness a smile on her face. "It dont even know if my name is really what I think it is, the only reason I know it to be what it is. Is because a lion gave it to me awhile ago and I have made a point of saying it everday since then so that I cant forget it." she said all of this with a happy tune in her voice, she wasn't going to let a lack of memory get her down, life was just a beautiful thing.
"I am Itzel by the way." she said this after the mention of her name came up, figuring it was polite to feel in that gap.
-
Ili'ella:
Ili'ella couldn't help but return the other female's smile. It was contageous. She was glad to hear that she wasn't letting it keep her done, like some may have. It was refreshing to see someone so alive in a tough situation. “That must make it hard to meet people,” she responded, her own smile brightening. “Though at least you have an excuse not to remember people's names.” She crinkled her nose childishly, laughing softly.
“A pleasure to meet you, Itzel. I like the name,” she smiled, “it suits you.”
-
Itzel :
"Well I have no problems meeting others, I meet new others all the time.... the problem is that sometimes they aren't always new to me.. I just don't remember them... or at least I think that occurs." she chuckled.
"Thank you I love my name!" Itzel may bot be able to remember day to day things but she still had feelings, and emotions, mostly she let them drive her. "I feel it is only polite to ask, though given two days time I wont remember it in all likely hood, but what is your name?"
-
Ili'ella:
Ili'ella laughed softly at that idea. “Where they remember you and you don't remember them, Frustrating at times I'm sure,” she said with a smile. She shook her head, unable to imagine living like that. She was so use to remembering everything, or mostly everything she did.
She peered at her, smiling patiently. “It's Ili'ella. It means beautiful one, or something.” She laughed again, knowing her name suited her in a way. Her mother had named her that because of her soul, apparently, not her coat. She remembered her father telling her that her mother had loved the name long before Ili'ella had been born.
-
Itzel :
Ili'ella" Itzel repeated. hoping that perhaps if she said it out loud perhaps she would be able to retain it longer then her standard day or two. "What a wonderful name!" she explaimed. The meaning did suit the lioness whether it was based on her coat or her soul.
Itzel looked up at the sky it was already reaching afternoon and there was much that she needed to get done, hunting and finding a new place to sleep her life was complicated by memory loss and the fear of others taking advantage of her, she just didn't want to let it bother her too much and interfer more then it did by nature. "It was very nice to meet you Ili'ella, and I do hope we meet again, perhaps I will remember you." she chuckled at the last part, it would be nice if it were to occur but the chances were slim, Itzel hadn't remembered any thing in a very long time.
-
Ili'ella:
“Thank you!” She said brightly, pleased with the compliment. She loved her name, it was her last link to her mother afterall.
She glanced at the sky as well when Itzel did, squinting to try and guess the time. Realising it was getting late, she sighed slightly, knowing it was getting time to say goodbye. She hated leaving people, it always made her sad no matter how she did it. “It was nice to meet you too, Itzel,” she said softly, smiling at her. “Even if you don't remember me, I will remember you. Perhaps that will be enough when we meet again,” she said, hoping it would be. If nothing else, Ili'ella could tell Itzel of how they met, if they ever met again. You just needed to take a different approach, spending time with Itzel, Ili'ella decided. You just had to be a bit more patient, something Ili'ella was not afraid to do.
