Semira was beginning to grow very comfortable in her new home. It was secure, and she was starting to feel more confident in the others she shared the pride lands with. She knew that none of these lions were the ones that wrecked her childhood.
As Semira walked through the lands she smiled at the faces she didn't recognize and gave a nod to those she did. Her red eyes had began to sparkle as she settled into her new home, everything was coming together for her here.
She settled herself under a tree to watch the others around her. She was thinking more and more these days about what she could do to help this pride. She knew one friend of hers was expecting cubs soon, perhaps she could give a helping hand there. As she looked around a white lion caught her eye. He was someone she hadn't seen before, and the difference in his pelt compared to hers drew her eyes to him.

Today was something new. Zimwi stared down from the tree branch at the water. Beautiful as ever, even in swamp light... It didn't matter WHAT light it was, he loved it. As he prepared to jump in, he noticed a shadow below. Ah, one of the new lions of the pride! As the white lion turned to climb down, he came across a catch. He could climb up... Down was another story. This left only one option.
It was a most glorious-feeling splash as Zimwi hit the water and sank, then swam back up towards the surface.

Semria stood stunned, the lion she had seen coming her way had just managed to jump in the water right by her. She now stood with water dripping from her face. She took a couple of steps back and looked at the water.
"Uh hello" she managed to get out. She then set down and began to clean the water off her face with her paw.

Crawling out of the water, Zimwi shook it from his fur. When he saw the lioness, he took on a look of shock. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to get you all wet!" He motioned up to the tree. "See, I like to climb up the trees now and then, but there's only one way down..." He looked at the water. "It offers the best place to land." Looking back, he offered an apologetic smile.

Semira smiled at the lion, not actually upset that she had gotten wet, living in the swamp lands had made her actually like the wet life, opposed to the dry desert she had spent most of her life all alone in.
"It's ok really no harm done, a little water never hurt anyone. Besides it really was quite the landing." she looked up at the tree, never have been interested in climbing them herself, she wasn't sure that there really was anyway to get down other then jumping into bodies of water.
"My name is Semira, I am glad to meet you." she said quickly realizing she hadn't mentioned her name yet.. she liked to get introductions done, it made her feel a little more at easy.
