((Backlogging at Juvenile stage for Thuraya)) 
The cubs were growing up so fast. Faster then Tsubame would have thought. With a soft sigh Tsu shifted slightly as she sat watching her cubs, all of them, wandering off to play with friends and each other. They were safe here in the heart of the pride's land or there would be no question of her or Maua or Ban'ma going with them but here where the pride lived Tsu and her sisters were able to hunt and do the other various tasks that needed to be done. In fact she was going to go hunting in just a bit as soon as she knew that everyone was off doing their own thing.
Tsu glanced at the sky briefly before checking on the receding image of the cubs. It was nearly time to go, before the sun's heat drove most prey to rest. With a slight smile she stood and started to head out for the day's hunt.

 Thuraya watched as her sibling sauntered off to do various things, some where meeting up with friends, others were going to practice hunting skills, everyone one had something to do. Everyone excpety Thuraya, Thuraya had no where to go and nothing to do. Thuraya quickly looped back around to her where her mother sat, perhaps her mother would know what she should do today or maybe she would be able to just spend sometime with her momma, she never had time alone with her, there was always far to much going on around the den for alone time.
Thuraya reached her mother again and plopped down beside her and cocked her head to one side. "Hy momma" she said her voice small and sweet. Thuraya was the smallest of the cubs in her litter, her dimeaner was very similar small and sweet, Thuraya knew her place in the pride and focused on making sure she was bringing honor to the family.

Tsubame smiled down at her little cub although she was not quite as little now. "Good morning my little star." She gave her small daughter a quick nuzzle. "Any plans today?" Tsu was still mystified how much her cubs had grown. She still remembered how small they were when they were first born, Thuraya and Namir especially. Namir soon toke after his father in size growing into a normal young lion if a bit small but Thuraya remained small, even a bit smaller then Tsu was at her age. She was Tsu's sweet little star just as Namir was her tumble bug.

Thuraya smiled up at her mother, the cub was very happy that she might be able to get some time alone with her momma. "I don't have anything to do today everyone has gone there seperate ways and I didn't have anywhere to go." she pouted a little as she spoke, though she didn't really mind, particularly if it meant time alone with momma.
"What are your plans today momma?" she asked. She hoped dearly that her mother would have time to spend with her, but at the same time she would be very sad if she was keeping her mtoher from something she needed to do. She looked up waiting for her mother's answer.

"Oh my darling to have a day all to yourself is a good thing." Tsubame gave her a quick lick up the bridge of her nose and laughed softly at her little pout. She really was quite cute. Sometimes it was hard for Tsu to believe that these cubs were hers but she knew that deep down she wouldn't trade them for the world.
"I was going to hunt but you know I dont get to spend much one on one time with you that I shall blow it off. What would you like to do Thuraya?" No one could say Tsu was shirking her duties because she was not going hunting, her family came first always that and since quite a few of the others were of hunting age Tsu was fairly certain there would be meat that night for Achal and her cubs.

Thuraya giggled happily, she felt so very important that her mother would blow off a duty so important as hunting for the family just to spend some time with her, she knew that her other mothers would do the hunting for today but she was still excited and honored. But that her mother possed the all important question, what did she want to do today, she hadn't thought that her mother would be able to spend the time jsut one on one with ehr and now she didn't know what they shoudl do together.
"Ummmmm" Thuraya mummbled her mind racing, "Can you tell me the story of how you met daddy?" Thuraya asked, the young blue lioness was a romantic to say the least and she was constantly wondering and worrying about what the outcome of her life would be who her pad would be and how they woudl treat her.

"How I met your father hum?" Tsubame looked her daughter thoughtfully. Even though Thuraya was by far her smallest cub her daughter was truly growing up so it was not really strange to have her ask how Tsu and Achal met. "Very well then but first lets get comfortable." She walked over to the nearest tree and settled in the shade. She waited until Thuraya joined her before beginning her tale.
Not entirely sure how to begin her story Tsu took a moment to collect her thoughts. As she was about to begin she realized that she would have to go into her own history in order for her cub to truly understand why Tsu loved her family so much. With a deep breath Tsu began her story like all stories should be begun.
"Once upon a time, not long ago in a place far away there was a lioness who had been abandoned by everyone. Her father was long gone as was her mother and it seemed that the world itself turned from the young lioness. Now one would think this lioness would not last long but she did and she grew into a strong if solitary adult...."
Tsu trailed off as her memories of her cubhood swamped her and she was sucked into her past.

Thuraya followed her mother and curled up into her mothers full right by her stomach. It was here that she was most warm and felt safe, it was where she had spent much of her cubhood, and it still felt right. She looked up into her mother's eyes ready for the story that would bound to be romantic. She had seen how her father looked at his mother, they loved each other. THuraya could only hope to feel that much love in her pad.
"I''m ready momma" she said quielty before the older lionnes began her story. She was quiet as her mother began her story, not even moving once the story began. The young lioness found herself almost wanting to whimper when her moher mentioned how she had been all alone. Thuraya could not imagine being alone, her family meant so much to her.
"What happened next Momma?" Thuraya was already pulled into the story she wanted to know more.

Tsu was pulled back to the present by the voice of Thuraya. She hadn't even realized that she had fallen silent. It took her a moment to remember exactly where she had stopped speaking before she picked up her tale.
"Now this lioness, who was an adult at this time, had given up on the thought that she was worth something, that there was someone who would stay by her side. She believed that she was not good enough to love. This was something that she learned in her desolate cubhood, where someone would stay for a day or two then move on with no care to the young lioness they left behind." Tsu took a deep breath, doing her best to hide the hurt that surfaced with such memories.
"As a capable adult she avoided others, after all there was no point in asking to be hurt. She thought her heart was protected so when she happened to meet a handsome lion she did not understand why she was so drawn to him. It wasn't long until they parted ways but fate had other things in store for those two and it wouldn't be long until they met again" There was more to the story but Tsu didn't know how much Thuraya really wanted to know. After all there was still the whole fiasco of them joining the pride then going to get Achal's older cubs, only to be separated from him. It was during this time that she received her injury to her paw, met Maua, and found Achal again after whacking her head on a branch.

Thuraya smiled he loved cuddling into her mother. "That male was daddy wasn't he?" Thuraya asked excitedly. She was happy that the story had a happier ending that it had a beginning. Her mother was so sweet and carying when it came to Thuraya and her litter mates she couldn't imagine that he mother would ever be someoe who kept away from others.
"And it was happily ever after!" Thuraya chirrped bringing the story to a close. "I'm very happy you met daddy and had me!" Thuraya said, getting up to her feet, a great smile on her face. It was getting a little later in the afternoon now, Thuraya was feeling very special that her other had taken the time to spend along just with Thuraya, and told her a story. It had been a great afternoon in Thuraya's books, possibly even one of the very best.
