It has been a few days since Tsun and the cheetah he had met had parted ways and Tsun still did not have the answers to the still unknown questions he had. Tsun didn't know why he felt that he needed answers but thats all he knew at this point in time. He felt he just needed to explore the lands that his mother had come from and his father traveled before settling in their home lands.
As Tsun travelled the snet of water caught his attention. Turning the large pruple and blue lion caught sight of a river running close by. Coming to the waters edge Tsun dipped his head down and took long gulps of refreshing water. As he drank he wondered if he was going to find a new friend or if his travels would be lonely.

For the past few days the lioness was nonstop. Wandering the lands and meeting a plethora of fems and fellows. And while the female held the spirit of a cub she was by far as agile as her half-pint counterparts. Her body was aged, and it was clear by how much her joints and muscles hurt. The lioness needed her rest. She slept heavily atop a tree branch which hung over a river. Iola chose the spot due to its close proximity to water. Iola planned ahead enough to know that once she was done resting up, she’d love to take a dip in the running water and have a good splash before heading out to her idle wanderings. The female had nowhere to go and no one to ‘get home’ to. She had no ties with any other creature besides the fleeting ‘friendships’ of a few, that hardly counted for more than a passing hello.
Her belly pressed to the branch, the female’s forelegs and back legs dangled down along with her tail which whipped around with the wind. She snoozed lightly, her purple ear flickering once the lapping sounds emitted from the male below. An eyelid creaked open, revealing a cobalt blue orb which instantly locked on the male below her. Iola gazed down at Tsun briefly, slowly rousing herself from her slumber-like state. “Whuah…?” The female grumbled, leaning forward to peek down at the male in better positioning. Her head fell heavily on the tree branch, still quite tired but curious towards the vibrantly colored male. “Pretty…” She muttered, accounting his glittering flank which held a richer shade of purple in comparison to her pastel shade.

Tsun looked up when the noise escaped the female who slept above him. Tsun was very unobservant lion and had not previously noticed the lioness that slept above him. He stopped drinking and looked up to see the pastel lion sleeping above him. When she made comment of his good looks he felt himself blush and he thought back to the cheetah who had been so into looks. He shook the other female out of his head and raised his eyes back to the lialoc female above him.
"Why hello there." he greated a great smile on his face, The large lion was greatly exctied to make another friend. Perhaps she would like to travel with him, and would travel with him longer then the cheetah had. Once she had had her way him she seperated form him in search for other things. "My name is Tsun'Twayson. It is a pleasure to meet you." he said his neck still crained up studing the pruple lioness. He was pretty sure that she was a fair amount older then he was but that didn't make a difference to him.

It was hard to believe just how old Iola was in comparison to her current counterparts. She aged gracefully. It didn’t help that she was wanton in youthful spirit. Which meant people noticed more the female’s ecstatic personality rather than her graying muzzle. When the female was well rested one couldn’t make any clear distinction on her age. And strangely enough, it’d never came up. Best to keep it that way. Iola mimicked Tsun’s facial expression when he smiled up at her in response to her compliment. Iola wasn’t aware that his smile was prompted from that. But then again, it was a rarity in receiving positive attentions from strangers. Iola instantly thought back to recent meetings that mainly happened with males. How ANGRY they were! Idly she wondered if it had to do something with pelt color. The friendlier males seemed to have lighter or colored pelts while to the crueler ones were darker or black. Yaaaawn, blink blink. “Hello.” The female stated still in a dream-like state. Her voice wavered as she tried to keep control of a fickle vocal octet. Iola’s eye lids slowly shut as she shook her head to get more wakefulness. Obviously she needed it… he was going out of her way to speak with her. Was he a dream? Iola shook her head again, eyes focused on the male that only grew more distinct. “You’re real…” Her voice trailed, Iola picking herself up from her laying position and stepped off of the branch to land heavily and ungracefully in front of Tsun. Her torso bobbed once she made impact standing on all four paws. The fall did a great job of waking her up. While she was still sleepy, this chance at companionship was too good to pass up. “I’m Iola… I’m a rouge.” She added shortly after, thinking it best to add that title because everyone seemed to ask. The female grinned widely, her eyes closing. “Heh, you could be my brother….” She then pressed her paw to his torso, marveling at their matching flank color. She’d never seen any other purple creature before. “….oh, wouldn’t that be nice?” Iola removed her paw, placing it to her tummy were she idly scratched it. “What are you doing out here?”

Tsun smiled lightly, he found the female to be very ammusing. She was so light hearted, and so like him. It made him smile, he was sure that she was the type that would do quite well in his home just he wasn't sure that she would want to come home with him, how did one to ask another if they wanted to join a pride.
When she introduced herself as a rouge Tsun wondered if she was a rouge by choice or if it was because she had just never found a place that she liked. "Well I don't think we are siblings, I think my fahter would have told me if I could find a lioness sister out here. You are a rouge, that is exciting. I belong to a pride, though I was a rouge for the very early parts of my life." Tsun told her. He still wore a smile on his face, excited that he had met someone so kind.

“True…” Iola answered without much compelling. While they did look mildly similar in pelt color the pair hardly resembled each other in bone structure or anywhere else for that matter. Besides, the thought of him being a long lost brother would have been a saddening thought indeed… it would have meant her family had left her behind as a cub. No, that wasn’t a thought she wanted to be truth or dwell on. She was slowly starting to come around, the soupy feeling of half wakefulness slowly altering to full consciousness. “You were a rogue like me?” Ears swerved forward, staring at the purple male expectantly. “…there must have been good reason for you to stop. Whats it like being in a pride?” The female had been coming across a lot of her fellow lions that belonging to some place in particular. She idly wondered what it must have been like… to have a family of sorts. She’d been alone for so long, she wasn’t sure what having a family could be like. Though the female was certain if she had constant companionship she would be loads happier. Other people to play with? Utter bliss for Iola. “If you are in a pride… why’d you leave?”

Tsun smiled as she spoke, he liked this female full of questions and fun she seemed to be. "I stopped being a rouge when my father brought my siblings and myself to our new home after our mother left." he didn't tell the full story about his mother and her leaving partially because he did not full know it himself but also because he didn't really like talking about it.
"I really only know the life of living in a pride. I suppose that is also the reason I have left. I needed to know what the outside is like. Though I do quite like my pride, it is my home, the jungle it is all that I know and its wet warmth is everything." Tsun's heart warmed with the talk of his home his home was of great importance to him.
"What is it like to be a rouge?" Tsun asked. "Isn't it lonely my home is my family my brother's and sister's though whole pride." it was really amazing the feeling he had when he was home, sleeping in his hammock knowing that he was safe and sound.

“Your momma left?” Iola questioned shortly after his explanation. Though her voice hinted at disbelief. She had never been a mother herself, and never intended to be… but she understood to some vague degree the female’s ‘place’ when it came to cub rearing. A mother needed to care for her cubs. “Are you looking for her?” Iola inquired, voicing a notion she would no doubt do if she had any clue who her mother was. Iola would have searched for the woman if she had any idea whom it might be. But by now, that mystery lioness would be long gone. Iola held a small smile, watching this male… watching his pleasant reaction to speaking of his homeland. It was obvious he loved it there. The way his voice seemed to change when he talked of that place made it clear. He painted a picture of the lands, leading Iola in by means of curiosity. She’d never wandered into the jungle before. Strangely enough. To think lions lived there! Though it was Iola’s turn to speak, and she easily expelled strands of stories. She loved being a rouge as much as the male loved being in his pride. “Well, it’s fuuuun~.” Iola’s voice surfaced in a purr, “Never answering to anyone. Free to do as I please. Meeting new faces~.” Iola withheld the less pleasant occurrences… getting run off of land she accidentally entered sometimes, or the mean spirited creatures she’d had to come across. “Being able to wander and be free… is fun.” Even with its mild drawbacks, Iola found being rouge pleasant.
