Semira and the others had been at the new pride for only a couple of days, everyone was fairly welcoming, and most of them had began to settle in. Mira on the other hand was having some problems. It wasn't that the other members of the pride weren't being completely welcoming and caring, it was just that well Mira hadn't been in a pride since her childhood and that ended poorly.
Semira was walking around the pride lands, moving from group to group, not talking to anyone, just acting as a shadow, something her black fur allowed her to do well, though sometime her blistering red eyes gave her away. She liked to hear the bits of conversation here and there, and see other interact; it made her feel included in an odd way.
Mira settled down in-between a few groups of lions, not eying anyone, instead looking down at her feet. It had been a long travel and she hoped it would be worth it, she hoped that this pride would finally allow her to feel safe and at home.

Odijo had just come back from a swim from the small swamp-pool that he and Bari shared. His fur still a little damp, he contemplated moving to an area of sun where he could dry off, and possibly even steal a few minutes for a nice cat nap. That was his plan, until he saw a shadow slinking around. He had never seen this female before, so being his inquisitive self, the male lion moved after her. Cerulean blue eyes watched as she settled herself down. He smiled, walking towards her.
"New here?" He asked, sitting quietly on the ground just near her, his ring tail curling quaintly behind him. He remembered being new in the pride. It was almost awkward, going from living each day in a different place to finally having a home to call your own.

Semira hadn't been paying much attention to the world around her, so she was surprised when he greeted her. She looked up into his blue eyes. Still a little shocked someone had been able to get so close to her with out her jumping to attention fully alert.
"New here? Oh yes I am, my family and I arrived not to long ago." She smiled thinking of her family. They weren't truly a family, they were just a group of lions who had traveled together to the pride. Someone of them had been together longer then the others. Out of the six lions in her group, she had joined fourth. She had spent most of her life on her own, only finding her brothers and sister when she was already an adult. The other two had joined the group after her she didn't know very well.
"I am Semira" she said realizing that her mind had been wondering and she had forgot to introduce herself.

Odijo nodded as she spoke, his blonde mane flopping over his eyes. He brought a paw to move the forelock away, listening as the other introduced herself. A group of six lions eh? That meant there were more lions to meet. Odijo wasn't one to go search for the new-blood, but at least it would be in his mind if he ever met someone. He would also have to tell Bari, perhaps the two could meet the newcomers together?
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Semira. My name is Odijo." He still had his birthname, for his true name had yet to come in him. The male didn't think of it though everyday like he use to. Like Magebari had said, it would come to him at the most precise moment.
"I'm sure you'll enjoy these lands. I've been here for a few full moons now, and it's already home to me," he flashed the dark female a genuine smile.

Semira listened to the male as spoke to her. "Odijo" she repeated softly when he told her his name. Being fairly new to the pride, he only had a limited knowledge about the naming patterns used. She had always gone by Semira and that's all she knew when it came to names.
"I think I will enjoy the lands here." she looked around her. It had been an uneasy transition for her at first, he lack of trust for others quite apparent. Having spent most of her life alone after her home as a cub was raided by other lions, she had learned that to be alone was the best.
"Only a few moons?" she asked... she hadn't met anyone who was new like her, given he wasn't as new as she was. "Where did you come from before her?" she enjoyed finding out information about others around him.

The male nodded. Even though he hadn't been here for a long time, he already adored the lands. There was so much to learn from them, as well as so much he could teach the future generations that were to thrive after him. Just the thought of being about to explain the traditions of the lands when he knew them a little better excited the male. Odijo loved teaching others, telling them of things he already knew. Perhaps this is the reason he is so fascinated with finding his true name.
"I was a rogue for most of my life. My parents died off when I was just younger, and from there I've just been traveling, aiding the young as I grew to help them either return to their parents, or set them on a path where they would benefit from in the long run."
"Tell me, Miss Semira, what brings you and your family to the Swamplands?" He was brought by the sheer intrigue of the adolscent he had met on the name quest. Once meeting everyone, he wanted to stay, and learn the traditions of the spirits himself.

Semira nodded and listened to the other lions story, she was interested to find out about others. It was interesting to find out that others had difficult or easy lives, it made them who they were today.
"My family and I had heard of the Swamplands for quite awhile. In fact my brothers had been looking for it before I joined them." she smiled realizing how confusing her family dynamic could be to someone who hadn't met them. "My family, aren't really my family, they are a group of lions I met when I was already an adolescent. When I was a cub the pride I lived in was raided and I was separated from my parents and my siblings. After that I traveled on my own for most of my life, I found my two brothers and sister and they were the ones that led me here." She smiled to the other lion she hoped that he had followed it all.
She tended to tell the story quickly as she was still sensitive about it, as a result of the raid she now trusted very few lions but this place was becoming her home and she could see that she could trust those that lived here.
