Semira had woken early from his slumber, she had been getting less and less sleep these days. There had been several murders in the pride, her sister had had cubs and sent so many of them away with the fear of injury to them. Semira found herself watching her children like hawks it was so hard being a single mom. she felt like she didn't have enough eyes to watch all five children, but there was just no way she could let them out of her site.... what if something bad happened to one of them she would never forgive herself.
She moved out of the den, her sister left inside sleeping with all six of their young ones, she had whispered a quick good bye to her before slipping out she needed to have a bath and get a quick snack before her babes rose and the day of protection started. Semira felt a little on edge walking around the quite pride, the killer might be here, she thought with a shudder.

Abu'kule had not slept that night - his sister having just returned to him, the deaths in the pride, and the angry bitterness that spilled from his loved sister's maw. It made him worry, deeply, for his home. White paws were muddy from pacing insistantly as he thought in the night.
Who would... why would anyone want to destroy such a wonderful place such as the Jini-msemi? A place where spirits curled themselves around every soul. Did someone really wish to anger the spirits?
A frown crossed the white maw deeply and he moved off to hunt, hoping the adrenaline would take his mind off of things.
Ness
Semira slipped into a cool pool, no one els was around so she enjoyed her breif moment of peice, if there was not another lion around that meant she was safe. She prayed to the spirts that her cubs would be safe and happy when she returned. She ducked her head under the water quickly and hummed to herself, allowing the water to wash over her.
She removed herself from the water and gave herself a quick shake, she then decided to move on to the hunting portion of her morning, she would hunt quickly and bring enough back for all six of the cubs and Nas. She moved quckly and silently she balck pelt her almost invisible in the early morning.

The brown lion pauses upon spotting a figure just across from him trhough the trees. He hesitated forward a bit, curious. He didn't want to simply go up to her, especially with all of the things going about to pride. The spirits were at an unrest - and not just the spirits of the deceased.
He tried to pull her name from his brain, having seen her once or twice before, but he couldn't remember for the life of him.
"Hello, Miss," he decided on, as he continued hesitating forward, head slightly down as to appear unthreatening.
Ness
Semira gasped, she hadn't seen the brown lion who stood before her. "Hello" she said rather hesitantly, it had become obvious that everyone in the pride wasn't to be trusted, and Semira didn't want to be the next body found. She looked around herself noting all escape routes, it was strange to have to think this way, Semira had thought this part of her life was over but here she was again, in an unsafe environment.
"Who are you?" Semira asked in a shakey voice, she didn't care if she seemed rude, safety first always safety first.

Abu wasn't taken aback at all, the suspcious nature ran rampart through the pride, it was almost stiffling. Sometimes he wished he hadn't returned to the pride, but the pride needed all it's members, all it's hunters, and this was his home. "I'm called Abu'kule-Biti," he spoke lowly. The pride was still sleeping, still at rest - spitits protecting their souls as they slumbered.
And it seemed his voice echoed sometimes when he spoke.
He dtopped still a ditance from her, but close enough so she could still hear him. "May I ask your name?" He asked, an odd show of manners showing through - he did this when he was unsure.
One could never know though.
Ness
Semira rested slightly, she was fairly certain that this lion meant no harm, he appeared to be a member of he pride that had been here his whole life he even had what sounded like a proper name.
Semira blushed, not that you could really see it through her dark fur, when he asked her name. She had been in the pride a long time, had even given birth to cubs that would be considered members in their own right, but no one had given her a name yet. She was embaressed to tell the lion in front of her that she still had an outsiders name. "My name is Semira." she knew that he would be able to tell by its simplicity that it was a newcomers name, it was just as simple as the ones that she had given her babes at birth.

A small frown crossed Abu's maw again, and he watched her, stepping a little closer. "Have you not been given a new name?" He questioned lightly, hesitant to broach the topic. One of his brothers returned with a simple name, as did his sister, though, his own Cub Name was long as well...
He snapped out of his musings. Hot pink eyes looked through the trees. "Shall we unt first?" He questioned, hoping he didn't upset her, hoping to divert the subject. An adult name, or a new name bestowed meant acceptance into the rank of an adult - of a member that mattered.
He almost feared not being able to find his own name.
Ness
"No no I haven't been giving a name." Semria admitted quietly. She was happy that the other lion was willing to skip over the topic quickly. Her stomach growled at the mention of hunting. "Yes yes hunting sounds quite good, and apparently my stomach agrees with me." she smiled looking at her own stomach.
She moved quickly into a hunting mode. Semira was small for her size having lived alone for such a long time, and not eating much. She moved smoothly threw the swamp lands, she became only aware of what was going on around her in terms of hunting she had no idea of where the lion had gone, he faded into the distance.

The brown and white lion wove through the trees, quite expetly. Having learned from such a young age, some wet areas could pull them in and even cause death in some cases. He decided to follow close behind her, watching everything going on around him.
With a small smile on his face, he watched her hunting instincts take ahold - and that was just how life was - Abu stayed aware though, a constant ee for anything and everything, but he stayed silent and let the dark female lead.
Ness
Semira moved and found the prey she had in mind, a brilliant juicy waterbuck. She moved quickly and with perisicion, and took it down. She was quite proud of her slef she turned and look for the lion that she had talked to. She made a decision then that perhaps she would share this meal with him beofre hunting for her little ones and returning home to them. She knew that Nas would have it all under control, and Kabu would be around, besides they probably wouldn't wake for a little while.
Looking back at the brown lion she smiled, "Hungry?" she asked. "I know its not much but I thought we could share?" she hoped the lion would be happy to share with her, she wanted to spend some time with this lion. Not to be selfish but she hadn't spent much time with an adult other then her sister.

He bowed his head - female's were better hunters, after all. "I would appreciate it," He told her sincerally. He didn't eat much, usually, as he hunted in regular intervals, but only small things.
He gave her a glance and bowed his head to the meal, eatting only a small portion before his belly was content, and he didn't feel the need to eat any more. He understood that she had cubs as well, having seen some of them around the pride, and they bore a striking resemblance to her.
"You should eat more," he told her, as despite the small meal, he had still left some bits of soft flesh on the body.
