"AAahhccoo."
He huffed as he quickly retreated his head out of a hole he was digging. Wayyy too much sand in his nose at once. He was about deep enough where only his rump stuck out when he stuck his head back in there to dig more. He was bored out of his mind. His siblings all busy with other things and his parents spending some time together. So what did Rahvu want to do? Dig holes of course. He was going to regret this when he got home, he had until sunset to dig this out more, his mother was going to be mad at him for getting covered in dirt. But he didn't care right now. Even though his blue paws were speckled brown from the dirt.
He sat back on his haunches and started to rub his nose. Before sneezing again. He hoped that was all of the dirt. He grinned before sticking his body back into the hole, madly digging at the dirt, feeling some of the dirt hit his back as it flew in the air into the pile that was slowly forming behind him. His tail flicking around behind him. He was very amused at this second VeryVery amused at the second.

 Mashaka was wondering aimlessly through the sand of the beach he lived by. It was a day that he had been able to escape his family once again. It had been hectic around his den lately and it was driving him nuts. His step-mother (he shuddered at the thought of her) had given birth to some guys cubs. He was unsure of the whole story about how she had gotten pregnant but he knew enough not to ask about it as it made his father said. But she had had four cubs, meaning that around his home there were nine cubs all fairly close in age.
Because of the number of cubs and the fact that four of the cubs were younger then he was he had been having an easy time getting away now days. As Mashaka made his way down the beach he spotted another cubs butt up in the air. He knew enough that it wasn't one of his siblings, the only ones that were even close in color were far to young to be alone digging, they were still glued to their mother's side... again he shuddered he was angry that they were lucky enough to have a mother, and although they didn't have their real father they would always have his dad. It was totally unfair.
He came up beside the other cub, purposely kicking dirt into the whole he was making, "Hey you down there" he shouted. He then sat down and waiting for the cub to come up... all the time slowly pushing dirt back into the whole. He was trying to be stealthy about his cruelness... he was in a bad mood today though so he didn't care much.

Rahvu smiled softly as he dug his paws deeper into the ground, stopping for a moment and pulling back to move some of the dirt back even more before leaning back in, flicking his tongue for a moment before thinking, he was almost completely into the ground, he was thinking about how he was going to make it a cavern. How he was going to do this, it would take a lot of moving dirt once he-
Why was there dirt falling back into his hole?
He paused for a moment trying to think about what it was. He dug his claws into the ground before grunting softly and going back to digging, he wasn't going to think much about it at the moment since it could have just been some dirt just falling in front being piled the wrong way.
That was until he heard a voice. He growled as he started to wedge himself turning around and peaking out, some dirt streaks on his face. "Why?" He growled motioning his paws toward the pile. "Thats so rude. Do you know how long I've been working on this?" He grunted as he nudged the younger cub out of his way and used his paws to start shuffling the dirt away from the hole its self.

Mashaka didn't take kindly to being shoved. He felt that the other cub was being very rude about everything. "Why again is it that you are digging the hole in the first place?" he asked the other cub. He could see that he was older then Mashaka was but that didn't make a huge difference to him. He could take on anybody.
Being spiteful after being shoved Mashaka tried to make an effort to push the dirt back towards the hole. He intended on making it hard for this cub to do anything until he started being more cooperative and friendly.

Ravhu growled before he pushed the cub again, he didn't really want to be mean but he was going to if he didn't get that far. He leaned down some, using his body to move th pile of dirt far enough so the cub couldn't push it back in before shaking himself off some. "I'm bored, and plus it's going to be a hideaway." He snapped before sitting in front of the den protecting the hole from getting more dirt in it. He knew that the cub really couldn't mess with him because of the size difference.
He puffed out his chest then yawned softly. "Why do you have to bother me? Huh runt? go back and play with your daddy." He rolled his eyes he didn't want to bother the lion. He really just wanted the cub to go the other way and leave him alone, he wasn't in the mood for it. He would have just gone back in his hole but he knew that it wasn't going to work like that, the cub really wouldn't leave if he did that.

Mashaka took a step back not wanting to push this other cub to far he knew that he was bigger then him, and he wasn't stupid. When the other cub suggested that Mashaka go play with his father he let out a laugh. His father was so busy now days with all the cubs that were running around.
"I am hardly a runt" he scoffed at the other cub. "I am the largest cub in my family." he of course failed to mention that half the cubs in his family were a fair amount younger then him or girls. Deciding that he didn't want to ward of a potentential friend Mashaka switched gears.
"Listen I am sorry I bothered you, I really just wanted to find someone to play with. Some one other then my siblings or family members that is. My name is Mashaka." he said simply sitting a fair distance from the other cubs hideout. He hoped that the cub would accept his change in attitude.

Rahvu looked at the male before flicking his hair out of his eyes and shrugging and he moved a little more dirt toward the other pile, then started to move the dirt away from the front of the opening. Before he shrugged. "Well you're a runt to me at this second. You're also a bit of a punk because of the way that you are acting." He huffed and flicked his tail then nosed a rock toward the hole.
He paused as the cub started to talk again before making a face. "Why should I forgive you when I've been working on this for days and you come along and mess up days of work." He arched a brow at the cub before shrugging and shaking his head. "I forgive you." He couldn't be mean, it was just the way he was, well it was more like when some one wanted to be forgiven he couldn't say no to it. He looked at the cub before flopping down at the entrance of the hole and looking at the cub with a arched brow wondering what he wanted, wanted to do, what he wanted from himself.

Mashaka was happy the other cub forgave him, it hadn't taken him to long, he gave him a quick smile. "I know that you are older then me, but are you interested in playing? I could help you dig your hole if you like. Or you could show me how you do it so well... every time I dig a hole it caves in." He looked at the older cub with hopeful eyes.
"I really don't want to go back home just yet. It is so busy there, I have 4 siblings there, plus 4 step siblings, and a step mother and my father and my grandmother." Mashaka's head was swimming with listening off all of his family, at times it confused him he wondered what this cubs family was like. "Do you still live with your family" he asked, he wasn't one to wonder long about something.

Rahvu looked at the cub before grinning widely. "Of course I'd love to play." He flicked his tail behind him before pawing at the cub. "I could do both, you can help me while I show you." He laughed slightly standing back up and wandering over toward his hole and peeking in for a moment before glancing back at the cub. "Wow. My family is pretty big too." He shrugged then he looked back in the hole. "Yeah I still live with my family. Its fun some times, other times I'm out here doing things like this."
"Well... I normally dig them like this when I have a good sand type." He smiled before shrugging slightly. "This sand normally really good It holds up because its a little wet and if you smooth it." His voice trailed before he peeked out. "come in there's room." Then he paused. "It might be a little cramped but its good." He crawled ina little more, there was enough room for about another cub that was the same size as him, so there had to be room for the other cub. In the corner there was also a few 'treasures' in the corner

Mashaka hesitated for just a moment before he stuck his head into the tunnel. He slowly began to inch himself down. "Wow you built this all on your own" he asked as he made it to the bottom where it spaced out so that he could get a better look around.
He noted the treasures in the corner, "Nice treasures" he said simply. He wanted to learn more about the art of digging holes. "Every hole I have ever dug caves in way before I get this far." Mashaka mumbled, thinking of the times he had come home and had to listen to his step mother grumble about how he had gotten dirty. Then again making his step mother mad was entertaining.

Rahvu looked at the male then nodded at him scooting over just a little bit so he could make room for the other male. "Yep. I've worked on it the last few days." He shrugged as if it was nothing, because to him it really wasn't anything, he did this some times wander away from the den and then dig a hole. Some times he even wander toward another place and make some friends.
"Thank you." He laughed as he looked at his small little trinkets. "I needed a better place to put them and this looked like the best. I'm really proud of this one so this is probably going to be my hide out for a while." He flashed a grin at him. "It takes some time and a good spot but after a while you'll get it." He winked at the male before looking around. "It could be a little better. I'll probably shape it out a little more later."

Mashaka looked around and smiled, it was most impressive. "What are the treasures you have in the corner?" he asked satisfied that the other cub had explained how to make a good hole.
He moved around and made himself comfortable waiting for the other cub to explain everything, making mental notes about what he saw so that when he left he would be able to make one of his own, as a hide out from his family when it was necessary.

Ravhu glanced toward his visitor then grinned widely at him. He looked toward then before standing up and sniffing at some of them before he nodded at them with a grin. "Well a lot of them are just random things I find. A few are for making necklaces and things. But other than that just thinks like shiny rocks."
He laughed at himself a bit. "It kinda sounds silly wanting to make necklaces as a boy but eh. It's fun." He flashed another grin before looking around the small space he had made. It made him feel at home.

Mashaka smiled, he didn't think much of anything was strange. He came from a very family so nothing struck him as odd. "No I think it is interesting!" he told the other cub.
"You seem to have so many cool talents and hobbies, I can't say that I have anything particularly exciting about me like that." it was strange but suddenly he was sad that he didn't have anything he was good at, he made a mental note that tonight when he got home he would have to find something he was good at, something that could be his thing.
