Seaki Nafsiumiza gave a small yawn and stretched her body out. She pushed herself from the masngled limbs of the tree and blinked sharply to push away the lingering sleep.
With a feeling of awareness, she walked from the basin of the tree and made her way out of the tree den. Getting out of the tree in the morning was annoying sometimes, but she was hungry. The small lioness started to walk away... time for a hunt!

nessiaing Mashaka for a change had actually woken up later then everyone else in his family. Though once those new cubs were up no one could sleep any longer anyway. they just didn't get basic manners. He scoffed at the thought of the irratating things his step mother had brougt into this world and how everyone doted upon these annoying little creatures.
Mashaka had began the day wondering aimlessly but then he remembered the lioness her had met a couple of weeks ago. He decided he should try to find the tree that she called home. He hoped the she wouldn't mind him calling on her. She had been so friendly to him the first time they met, and he wanted to see her again, which was strange for him.... he often despised the female race.
He came through a group of trees and saw hers up ahead, it looked like she was just waking up. He paused debating whether or not he should go and great her.... perhaps she had other things she planned on doing this morning.

Seaki With practiced grace, Nafsi promptly sat a few paces away from the tree den. She wasn't that hungry, really, and she figured she could put off hunting until later. She gave a wide yawn and looked around the area. The Tree Den, as she so promply called it upon finding it. It was really the best area to raise any cubs she would have. The basin was large and away from those pesky creatures that liked cub-meat.
It was close to water and had nice shade, too. She gave a small fond smile to the tree, and she couldn't wait for her cubs to eventually arrive...
But for now, only her, Mauja, and the small rabbit, who still clung to life, resided in the tree den. Today, the small rabbit would stay in the tree and she would spend time in the field.
A frown crossed her maw, and she looked away from the den and out into the open. She spotted a purple creature. "Mashaka?" She questioned to herself.

nessiaing Mashaka smiled, she remembered him. After their frist encounted Mashaka had left with the feeling that she was a little weird and that she perhaps wouldn't remember him after more then a couple of days.
He ran towards her, completely unaware of how uncharacteristic it was for him to be this eager to see anyone much less a female. He skidded to a stop just before running into her paws. Panting he looked up at her with a smile on his face. "Hi Nafsi, you remembered me." he smiled in between pants.

Seaki Nafsi gave a small smile - she was right, it was the little cub she met. "Of course," she nodded. " How've you been, Mashaka?" She questioned. It'd been a few weeks after all, and she cub rather promised a visit... Sort of.

nessiaing Mashaka still catching his breath looked up at Mashaka and his expression changed greatly when she asked how he had been, "Its been terrible Nasfi." he sighed and plopped down on his hindquarters. "My step-mother had cubs... 4 of them, and everyone is over the moon about it... except me. I can't stand them or her. Its horrible. Now our den is soo busy and its all very overwhelming."
He looked up into her eyes, his blue eyes almost brimming with tears. Why did he trust her so much. He thought to himself. Truth be told she was the only female other then his sister he let close to him, and his only motherly figure.

Seaki The tan lioness gave a small frown at the cub. She understood, in her own twisted way. She didn't like her siblings or mother, though listening to her mother was important mostly. "Why don't you like them?" She was slightly curious, plus with her psycological understanding, he needed to vent.
"Tell me about it?"

nessiaing Mashaka sighed he didn't even know where to begin. "Well first of all... she isn't even my mother she is my father's mate my real mother left us.... she didn't want me or some of my other siblings she only took two. And now we travelled all this way to live with my father's mate.... " he took in a deep breath.
"While we were gone, something bad happened to her, and now she has cubs that aren't my dads, but are yonger then me and my siblings. Now my dad is busy helping her raise them and my siblings and I are apparently old enough now to handle being on our own." he rolled his eyes, given he liked being on his own but some of his siblings needed their dad still. "Really its like we have no parents at all."
"In my opinion these cubs are the most annoying little brats ever." he let out a big breath... it had exhausted him even going through it all. "No one can sleep cause they are always crying, and I am contsantly getting in trouble for playing too rough, really is it my fault if they can't play right?"

Seaki But you're just cubs..." Mafsi mumbled to herself. She offered a frown. She ended up giving a small chuckle though. "Well it's not your fault..." She worried her bottom lip with her canines and thought for a moment.
"If you can't sleep, you could always sleep here? By the Tree Den..."

nessiaing "I wish I could" he told her honestly. He was really becoming quite fond of this older female lioness. She seemed to understand him in ways that no one else could. It truely was amazing. "The one thing that my dad does insit on is that we all stay with him, something about his dreaming of having a large loving family."
It was really rather confusing for Mashaka, "I feel bad, but as soon as I get old enough I want to leave him Nafsi, I want to find my mom. Find out why she left me behind..." it was rather obvious to the cub that he belonged with his mother over his father.

Seaki Nafsi's nose wrinkled a little. "Doesn't seem very loving..." She didn't think it was such a good idea for the cub to search out his mother. Hate was something strong, if she left out of hate, as were many other emotions. She still didn't think it was good - but she didn't know the whole story, really.
"If it'll put your mind at rest, Mashaka, then you should when you can." She reslved to say, but it came out almost reluctantly.

nessiaing "My father means well... from my understand he just feels bad for leaving his mate... apparently it cause some sort of harm to her" Mashaka shook his head. He didn't care what happened to his step mother.
"My sister and I are going to leave together. So when I leave I wont be leaving alone." he hoped that this would put the lionesses mind at ease. He wasn't able to comprehend any reasons other then worry for his safety that she wouldn't want him to go. And he could tell from the tone in her vouice that she was a little uneasy about the idea.

Seaki The tan lioness gave a nod of acceptance. It was better then nothing, and she really didn't know the whole ordeal.
Suddenly, her stomach rumbled. She gave the lion a sheepish smile. "Have you eaten yet? We can go for a quick hunt..." She frowned a bit, wondering if the purple lion cub had any hunting experience...

nessiaing Mashaka pawed nervously at the ground, "Maybe you should hunt on your own. I have never hunted before... and well" he looked down at his coat, "I tend to stick out in the surounding area." he looked back up at her with a kind smile.
"I am sure my father has breakfast back at our den... and he is probably wondering where I am." he rooled his eyes..... "I will come back and visit you soon Nafsi." He nodded at her hoping she wouldn't be offended by his quick depature.

Seaki "Alright," Nafsi gave a small nod. "It means I can catch something smaller." Feeding more then one mouth... she would have had to catch something like... a fawn. She could just catch a hare now. She gave a wide smile.
"Stay safe, alright?"
